  2. IC actions require IC reactions. It would be justified to have SWAT or the MILITARY paroling the streets daily considering we have cars of kill squads going around robbing and killing anyone and everything. Actually, I support military checkpoints!

  3. For weeks and months I've been personally scrutinizing a faction's claim to fame. By claim to fame I mean their rise and what's necessary for a faction to become official. I notice there is a huge double standard amongst factions and their occupation. I have noticed factions with less standard, less members and less activity become official much quicker than factions with better standard, more members and better activity and it's left me wondering, why? I say this because I speak from experience. My own faction applied for official almost 2 and a half weeks before coming official. We were told after 2 weeks that new members would be officiating our process which confused me, because how are new members supposed to scrutinized a faction that's been active for 6 weeks? Why is a faction who was only eligible for one day made official, when others are made to wait? I'd like to hear an elaboration on this. I feel this is why we're losing members. There is a clear double standard amongst the illegal community. This is a question to the public, where I would appreciate public engagement and dialogue. Possibly even IFM transparency.

  6. IFM will temporarily be closing this faction down after leadership figures have received punishments. If a member of the faction currently wishes to continue the concept and obtain ownership of the faction, please come forward to IFM with the backing of other faction members. After further discussion, Illegal Faction Management will be permanently closing the faction.

  9. why are people saying rping 12 is absolutely vital to gang rp... gangs dont recruit children the way they used to. there's simply no need. gang banging nowadays is more of a choice than a need and most active gang bangers are either about to hit 18 or older than 18. you do not need to rp younger than 16 for any discernible reason. children are around gangs and they sometimes contribute via acting as lookouts or mules but most of it is related to the drug trade, which on GTA:W is beyond horrible. restricting character's ages to 16+ will not "cripple gang RP" . only on gta:w have i seen that boring, uninspired "oh u from here?" rp. just pretend you known that person in passing and assume you've had some minor encounters in the past. this shit ab having to rp a young teen is stupid and leads to the army of child soldiers everybody mocks.

  11. I wholeheartedly disagree with these statements for various amount of reasons. First and foremost, your OOC "official" status has absolutely NOTHING to do with your IC status, this is a blatantly mixing IC/OOC and this doesn't belong on a hardcore roleplay server such as GTA:World. The only kind of rewards a faction should get, are OOC rewards that do not impact things ICly. Second, just because you're in a faction or because you've created one doesn't mean that you deserve any kind of special treatment, supplying roleplay to yourself and others around you should be the norm, not something you necessarily should be rewarded for. And especially not in any ways that impacts things ICly as previously mentioned. There are plenty of other players who are not in factions that do many things around the community and they also receive no special treatment or any fancy IC assets they can take advantage of. If players continuously make factions that don't last long because they don't get their weekly shot of dopamine they shouldn't of been accepted in the first place. You create a faction for yourself and others because you enjoy doing that first and foremost, not because of any additional rewards that you could possibly earn. And if players do make factions and they don't last long, Faction Management will notice and will not at all be very eager to accept their factions next time, or at least put some serious question marks next to their application. Let alone if these people try the same trick the third time. If you want to receive firearms on a weekly basis as a reward for your great standing in the community, and flawless portrayal. There is already a system for that, apply to be a supplier when applications are open.

  13. To be honest, the problem isn't the economy... It's the player's mindset. While I have two characters with enough money to (realistically) live comfortably for the rest of their lives, I don't RP as such, simply because I get the money wheter I want it or not. They're just average, there are times where I don't care about losing a bit of money or taking a bad deal thanks to this, but for the vast majority of expenses, I take them as any middle-class person would. Giving us more expenses will do nothing but encourage grinding and force people to do boring script jobs they might not want to make, and for the illegal side, it's likely to bring back the slowly declining petty crime with sub-par RP where only the thieves abusing the rules have fun. If you want to roleplay a bartender who barely covers the bills... I'm sorry to say, you'll have to force that to happen because you'll be making way more money than such a character would... The same goes for a store clerk. Script jobs are the lowest of the low, yet one of the fastest ways to earn cash (if we put aside home / vehicle flipping). ...it's not hard to make at all. Please do it, it's fun to RP with average Joe(s) 🙂
