  4. A view over East Los Santos Golden Escorts: Her name was Yola The overdoses of two escorts working with the agency 'Golden Escorts' highlights the facelessness of those in the sex work industry as the sex work legalization bill finds itself back on the Senate floor By PHOEBE HOLTER LOS SANTOS - “She overdosed on my sofa”, an anonymous source explained as they described the passing of one of their customers following a heroin overdose. “My 15 year old worker was there, he was the one that sold her it.” She, in this case, was Yola. A young woman in her mid-twenties and a resident of Strawberry who had, like so many in South Los Santos, fallen into the familiar cycle of drug abuse and prostitution. But to the clients of the online escort agency Golden Escorts, Yola was little more than a number. “1 [Yola] and 2 recently passed away, the middle one is available however”, a representative of the agency wrote to a Facebrowser user they believed was a potential customer. “The rate is $11,500 per hour for the full experience”. “They both OD'ed together, out of our control. We don't own the girls, we work with them to find them clients, and take a 10% cut. That's as far as our interaction with them goes” - Golden Escorts, via Facebrowser Number 1 (Yola) left, Number 2 (unidentified), right The impersonal delivery of the statement that almost half of Golden Escort’s roster (5 at the time of initial contact with their believed customer) had died from overdoses in a period of less than a week reflects a cold truth about life in Los Santos. The lives of many of those who find themselves suffering from substance addiction or find themselves in the illegal, unregulated world of sex work are often deemed to be little more than expendable. The anonymous source who claimed to be an associate of Yola summed this up bluntly when asked about the identity of the woman identified only as ‘2’: “I don’t know, could be anyone though, most hookers be overdosing (sic).” “Could be [fentanyl]. I saw my ‘lil nigga give her 3 grams, she was heating it up on a spoon when I walked out and he calls me and says she OD'ed” - Anonymous source an associate of Yola Drug addiction and overdoses are overrepresented in certain portions of society, with those involved in sex work being in those of those groups where problem is most pronounced. But while the impacts may be disproportionate, they are ever-present to those from all walks of life in Los Santos. Easy access across the border from Mexico has made the state a hotspot for drug trafficking and domestic production is also taking off. The evidence for are both visible from the widespread proliferation of cocaine in the glitzy nightclubs of Vinewood to the methamphetamine trade working its way through ‘The Valley’ of East Los Santos. Yola and her colleague only make up a small part of the tapestry of Los Santos’ troubled history with addiction and substance abuse. Shared screenshot of a conversation with Golden Escorts, Facebrowser “Mostly methamphetamine, they got labs all over the valley” - LSSD OSS Sergeant Jonathan Medina, speaking about the proliferation of methamphetamines in East Los Santos Effort is being made on this front, with local health providers such as Hope Health Group offering rehabilitation services to those suffering from addiction. Preventative efforts are also made by local law enforcement agencies such as the LSSD working in conjunction with federal agencies such as the DEA in specific anti-drug task forces, such as the SSA-DTF (Southern San Andreas Drug Task Force). The SSA-DTF’s purpose, according to Sgt. Medina of the LSSD is “to curb the manufacturing, sale, trafficking, and residual violence related to narcotics in the state” by “identifying, targeting, and distributing Drug-Trafficking Organizations (DTOs) through the means of identifying subjects, residences, and places of businesses that are used as front locations for southern San Andreas DTOs”. The sex industry however manages to consistently fly under the radar of enforcement despite operating almost in plain sight. The paper-thin ambiguity many state escorting agencies operate under seems to provide enough window-dressing to avoid legal attention, yet escort advertisements and online prostitution through agencies such as Golden Escorts are so common-place that they make the websites of local news networks on a regular basis. The absence of meaningful regulation often means that escort agencies operate as little more than fronts for organized crime and enterprising gangs, with the women working for them often trafficked and trapped in cycles of addiction and abuse. The LSSD operates several specialized task forces Preventative measures by local law enforcement seem to be centred around tackling human trafficking on a broader scale. Task forces such as the LSSD’s LS-RHTTF (LS Regional Human Trafficking Task Force) which operates with the goal of “through direct and indirect proliferation of intelligence and actionable reports, effectively combat[ing] any and all forms of human trafficking”, according to Sgt. Medina of the LSSD OSS. “This will most often be done through controlling and interacting with venues, establishments and congregations of peoples that are most commonly associated with human trafficking; be it labor or sex trafficking.“ “Increasing early identification of victims of all forms of human trafficking within Los Santos County, to strengthen investigation and prosecution of labor and sex trafficking cases in Los Santos County, and to address the individualized needs of trafficking victims through provision of comprehensive services.” - LSSD OSS Sgt. Medina on the goals of the LS-RHTTF State Senators in the Senate chamber Those who believe in the legalization/regulation approach to addressing the issues raised by sex work argue a different route to solving this issue than stricter enforcement and last week’s reintroduction of the State Legalization of Sex Work Bill of 2021 by Senator Reyes (D) provides fresh hope for their cause. Despite a narrow defeat in the Senate earlier in the session the last time the bill was proposed, activists presumably are hoping with the Republican Senate roster having changed (with a new female Republican State Senator in Millicent Monroe and the imminent replacement for the newly appointed Secretary of State Noah Wade soon to be announced), the bill may have a different fate this time around if a swing vote can be found. But for Yola and for the forgotten others who shared her story, it’s a case of: too little, too late. The sex industry is alive and well in Los Santos, even if those who are themselves who find themselves entangled in it are left treated as little more than numbers. Be that via an online catalogue like that of Golden Escorts or in government statistics. About the journalist Comments are enabled on this article Username: Comment:

  5. Shoot To Kill Asian Boyz vs Krazy Miller Boyz STKvsKMB After several days of back and forth net-banging, the Asian Boyz members went over to Krazy Miller Boyz hood to press the issue, however, nobody was found and the Asian Boyz decided to take it to the net again, dissing and humiliating the Krazy Miller Boyz on different social media platforms. Later the same night, a Krazy Miller Boy affiliate by the name Jordan Khem walked over to ABZ hood to trash the memorial of Lil SnapBacc and Nfant KiccDoors, two of the hood legends and trophies. William "Baby Gunplay" Zhou, one of the older members of Shoot To Kill Asian Boyz, then announced a green light on all Krazy Miller Boyz after the trashing of the memorial. A car filled with Asian Boyz members rode out the night after, spotting Victor "Blast" Shui, one of the high-ranking members of Krazy Miller Boyz. Asian Boyz affiliates went crazy on Blast, beating him up on sight with no remorse. Asian Boyz then grabbed him and took him to the A-Way, one of the streets around Vespucci with the highest murder rate. After several moments of torture and beatings, Victor Shui died in the hands of the Asian Boyz. Krazy Miller Boyz sought revenge and drove up on Asian Boyz shortly after, catching Tang "Lil Munchie" Achiraya on the strip lacking. The beef between these two gangs is ongoing and one of the most brutal wars in Vespucci at the moment, resulting in shootings all around Tug Street and Melanoma Street. The local police department advises all locals to avoid the area of Melanoma and Tug due to the high amount of criminal activities such as shootings and robberies. The police department is still looking for the two shooters of Vivian Huang, a female member of Krazy Miller Boyz. The duo managed to get away after the shooting last night and a highspeed chase through Los Santos.

  6. Crime Ratio The bar graph to the right showcases the exact crime rate, involving arrest for Murders, Drugs, Prostitution, Grand Theft Autos, and Robberies with Davis being at the top of course. The history of street-gangs in the United States begins with their emergence on the West Coast around the 1960s, as the Black Panther Movement ended. Street-gangs developed mostly in Davis, which can seen on the exact reason why the crime rate of the city is mostly in Davis. The Los Santos Police Department has the responsibility to collect crime statistics from crime scenes and submit the information to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for inclusion into a crime rate graph national crime statistics program. The department publishes an annual crime report and provides the data in a searchable format on the Los Santos Police website. Peter Conti's Death Peter Conti the ex-boss of the Conti Crime Family was killed early in 2021. Peter Conti was killed on live-television in front of millions of viewers, its known to be a fact Conti was going to testify on his entire Crime Family. The Police Department were on scene to protect Conti but were also gunned down by the group who did the attacking. This officially made Los Santos very dangerous, seeing how quick people were to shoot active Officers, taking their lives for protecting someone proclaimed as a Snitch. Section Eight Housing Los Santos has very low-end areas, mostly on the West and Eastside. The picture to the left shows a prime example of these housings. People use areas like these to produce drugs, and hide weapons places like this is usually used as a stash spot of all weapons, money, and The city of Los Santos pays forth about $200 Million dollars in Section Eight homes "that they say", but instead it seems that this is not true, people live in poverty and there is no changing it. The reason of our children being drug dealers and killers is due to them attempting to make it out this area. Raising Children In Section Eight Homes Parents are forced into working minimum wage jobs due to their living style. They are profiled by where they live, and its mostly African-Americans. Parents have their children sleeping on floors, and are pleading for help as the City of Los Santos watches and doesn't help with anything. This information is very important, with protest and reasons of groups like the Black Panthers being made. You can call the Black Panthers the first ever gang, feared by Police these were groups of African Americans who stood on sidewalks with hand guns, shooting things and breaking into stores, they were not a peaceful group, they raised havoc on the street. Morningwood Morningwood is located in the Del Perro district on the East side of Los Santos. Surrounded by mostly what people would call a good area, this place is known to have a dark-night (crime-sprees). The Morningwood has a known tagging crew in the area, called the Murdawood Goes Wild crew, and the 3rd Street Murdawood Boys, an African American group locaed in the Pacific Bluffs Projects. Poly High School Poly High School is a school deep in the Vespucci area most of the African American children attend this school. This is were school groups are made and you have your own personal circles. Gangs like the Blacc Bandit Crips attended the school some of the members played sports which is a way they were known in the school. Juvenile Detention Juvenile Hall serves as an institutional setting that temporarily houses youth for primarily two reasons: prior to their court dates and/or after their adjudication, pending transitional placement/services. Most children who are from the Juvenile Hall come out with an ankle monitor or a probation. Inside of the Juvenile Halls children still have schools to learn and their eligible to graduate from the Juvenile Detention Center, its also possible they'll keep you on the inside until your eight-teen to charge you as an adult. The Morningwood Troublemakers The 3rd Street Boys are a group of young teenagers that attend Poly High School these teenagers are interested into the drug-game mostly with them mostly have the dream to be one of the people who make money from selling drugs on corners. Their considered prospects with them have their own personal traits and skills on how they personally want to earn money. The group of teenagers grew up in a Section Eight housing complex, while their parents sleep these kids are at the park figuring out ways to make money. These children range from the ages 14-15 years of age and are currently freshman of the Poly High School. The group was originally made by Sheldon Ford, and Juvante Garner gathering all his friends to be apart of the crew in 7th Grade were they all shared the same exact dream to make money the group can be seen around Poly High School walking in groups. And usually at the park in their groups looking to make something shake for their families. A known dealer by the name Cisco runs a group of dealers around Little Seoul. With his little brother being a member of the 6500 Boys group. Dope Boy Dreams Every child has a dream to be something in life, and their different ways for them to do it. Living in a Section Eight area, you only believe in one way of making it out of that area, and most teenagers don't look towards a 9-5 job, these teens turn to the streets as their best resource. Even though teenagers do play basketball, football, and other sports, they still find that the streets are the best way to make money. By turning to the streets you will run into a lot of problems, which the 3rd Street Boys will fall into unknowingly, there isn't much they know about the drug-game. But they'll find out quickly. These children are attempting to grow up way to fast, which can end up badly on their end. Every dream doesn't end well, and theirs might not. Experiences as a Freshman The children still attend parties, and play sports in the middle of being in the street-life. Vandalism and smoking in the bathroom and pissing on the floors are common habits of childish teenagers, which they are. Teenagers around this age strictly make beef over unnecessary things. Its possible that they'll have a uneasiness with the Koreans in the area, some younger ones may even become apart of the group. They are peaceful with the adults but very ruthless with African Americans teenagers.

  8. I believe the Davis LTD has served it's prison sentence and with that, it's been released on a temporary basis to see how it operates now. If it spikes back up to how it was before, it will be turned off again. This was actually done in Bombie's time so it's been probably six months now since this was closed.

  14. The best way to standardize /attributes would be to turn the large text input into a short form - individually ask for age, height, weight, descent, distinctive features and behavior and so on, then add an 'other' field where people can get more creative, then turn the data gathered from that into a standardized sentence that pops up when you type /attributes. That way it'll be easier to follow and you'll mostly have the same information regardless of the character you use /ex on. My two cents.
