  4. The faction was a good one until particular decrease during some situations, but none the less it was a great chance to meet some new friends, enjoy a new theme and furthermore.. run something that brought life to Paleto Bay. I have plans for the future, big ones and I have nothing but good things to say about the people that assisted, made this Faction possible. I hope those who're included only develop further and go harder as ever, lots of love for those around. Thank you for coming into the Mannix Family until said end, it's a shame it had to end so soon, but alas.. things happen! @Montana Fats @Dub5ty @AlphaZER0@Geo.@Craner @oli@Leggy3 In said future, I hope we meet again, lots of love and good work, every single one of you!

  5. Mirror Park is based on what's currently a heavily gentrified suburban area known for Hipster cafés and houses that cost $750,000 in real life (Echo Park & Silver Lake). Both areas are the 20th and 22nd most walkable areas of Los Angeles. Additionally to this, even when not taking real life LA into account, the server has also made Mirror Park into the ultimate suburban dream: people are fighting to pay top money for Mirror Park property. You can RP wherever you want but that also includes other people RPing what they want (which is to push gangs out of their neighborhood). You can rep Mirror Park all you like but your character would be deeply stupid to try and consistently mess with neighbors that are obviously against you being there and have no problem with calling the cops. Are you gonna really risk the charges of being caught because you're loitering in someone's yard and they catch you with an illegal gun over some beef?

  6. Anton Tszyu Anton Tszyu was born in Ussuriysk, Soviet Russia on July 16, 1989 as the only son of Valentin and Milena Tszyu (nee Fen). His father was a former industrial engineer who resorted to working menial jobs after the Soviet Union’s collapse. His mother was a homemaker. Tszyu’s family are from the Korean minority of the Soviet Union, also known as Koryo-saram. Early Life Tszyu’s childhood was split between Ussuriysk and Vladivostok. His family owned a single detached house in Ussuriysk and lived somewhat comfortably. Their neighborhood had a low crime rate and they resided in close proximity with other family. In 1993, the Tszyus moved to Vladivostok after a financial decline caused them to lose their home in Ussuriysk. Tszyu’s father became an alcoholic to cope with the loss of his lucrative career under the Soviet system. His involvement with backroom gambling is largely what caused the family to run out of money in Ussuriysk. In Vladivostok, the family resided in concrete housing blocks that were erected by the Communists, decades prior. Tszyu’s housing blocks were stricken with disproportionately high rates of violent drug crime. While at home, Tszyu was subjected to witnessing various criminal activities from a young age. This included witnessing a courtyard stabbing as a five year old, which traumatized him. The victim in this case was killed on the spot. The winters were especially harsh. Cuts to gas caused the family to go days at a time without heating in the home. Just to live normally, they had to wear winter clothing while indoors at all times. Tszyu ran away from home in the summers and spent weeks at a time away from family. This was done to escape from his father’s drunken beatings, which happened on a continual basis. He was often sheltered by sympathetic neighbors, who clothed and fed him. He sometimes slept overnight on his school grounds to escape the abuses at home. He did poorly at school while failing several consecutive grades. He was regularly in trouble for bullying, fighting other students and verbally disrespecting his teachers. Gang Involvement and Juvenile Incarceration Tszyu became criminally involved as a child. Several of his childhood friends introduced him to crime as a seven year old. He started out by stealing and robbing from private property, and by the age of ten, was selling these items to other kids for money. Tszyu’s crimes increased in severity as he progressed into his teen years. He was involved with robberies, thefts, assaults and eventually drug dealing. He worked for a neighborhood gang under Vladimir “Koshka” Nazarov, a future Vladivostok-based mobster. Tszyu sold drugs in the streets that included marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines and heroin. Nazarov had arranged for Tszyu to murder a gang rival to become initiated, but he was apprehended for selling drugs before this plan materialized. From 2004 - 2006, Tszyu was incarcerated at a juvenile prison in Spassk-Dalny on drug distribution convictions. He joined a violent gang of juvenile delinquents for protection, where he served as an enforcer. While locked up, his ties to the gang in Vladivostok faded away and he was forgotten by Nazarov. Adulthood Tszyu was released from the Spassk-Dalny juvenile prison in 2006, aged 17. He returned to his old neighborhood in Vladivostok, where he completed secondary school. Within weeks of finishing school, he left home for good. At the time of him leaving home, his parents were in the midst of a chaotic divorce. His mother had filed for divorce and was about to make her case within the legal system. Tszyu spent years traveling around the Vladivostok metro region. He lived with extended relatives while working menial jobs in stores and warehouses, but was frequently homeless. To fund his travels, he burglarized residential properties and sold stolen belongings to other criminals. In 2008, he was drawn back to Vladivostok after his maternal aunt ostensibly set him up with a dockyard job. However, he was never hired. He instead became a resident of homeless shelters and missions around the city. Russian Naval Service Tszyu was conscripted into the Russian Navy in 2008. This came after the Vladivostok police arrested him while in possession of marijuana. As part of a deal, he agreed to submit to national service as opposed to serving prison time. From 2008 - 2009, Tszyu was a conscripted sailor in the Russian Navy. He completed training in Vladivostok and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky before being stationed at the Vilyuchinsk Naval Base. He served on-shore and aboard submarines in the North Pacific Ocean. During his 12 month service obligation, he was forced into Dedovschina rituals while being exposed to incompetent leadership and corruption. He was continually disciplined for service offenses such as failure to report and insubordination. His disciplinary actions included being confined to the Brig, getting physically beaten along with being placed on repeated night watches. Civilian Life Tszyu was released from the Russian Navy in 2009 with the rank of Leading Seaman. He then settled in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and obtained employment through veteran’s assistance groups. He was enrolled in the federal public works industry as a construction worker. He worked road construction and infrastructure maintenance in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In 2012, Tszyu moved to Moscow Oblast for better economic opportunities. He lived in the cities of Kolomna and Podolsk while working in Southern Moscow. After two more years, he was promoted to a road construction foreman. His higher working status took him to other cities such as Kaluga, Tula, Tver and Ryazan. While outsourcing his work in these other cities, he inhabited subsidized temporary housing for federal workers. To deal with the intense physical laboring, he abused narcotics such as cocaine and painkillers on worksites for many years. He often drank hard liquor while working, and as a foreman, distributed booze among his subordinates. Over the years, he stole construction materials from the federal service and sold them on the black market. He accounted for the thefts as miscellaneous losses, and resultantly, was never arrested or criminally charged. Tszyu visited extended family in the Ukraine and South Korea with his legitimate income over the years. He traveled to Kiev, Seoul and Busan. Emigration to the United States Some time around 2011 - 2013, Tszyu applied for legal immigration to the United States. He enrolled in the Green Card program’s family sponsorship scheme. He was sponsored by his paternal uncle and cousin, who both lived in San Andreas together. Tszyu directly emigrated to the United States from Moscow, Russia in 2016. He has lived in Los Santos, San Andreas ever since. He has worked a series of jobs since arriving in the city. These jobs include working as a cellphone repairman, liquor store clerk, a food truck vendor and courier. He was employed by IMEX Logistics in 2020 but was fired after failing to appear at work for an entire month. Tszyu is still experiencing stages of culture shock. He has found adjusting to American society and culture to be extremely difficult. It didn’t take long before he started a downward spiral, caused by no fulfilling employment and infighting with his Americanized relatives. He spent an increasing amount of time in the urban and suburban streets of Los Santos, resulting in him once again abusing recreational drugs. Eventually, he acquired other hard tastes such as crystal methamphetamine. When he’s not working actual jobs, Tszyu provides for himself through petty crime in the streets. He abuses numerous drugs to include cocaine and methamphetamine while continuing his hard drinking. Additionally he frequents sex workers, usually finding them in the streets or from inside massage parlors. Involvement with Los Santos Organized Crime In 2021, Tszyu’s uncle and cousin paid to send him to a reputable rehab facility in Las Vegas, NV. He attended and successfully completed a two month in-residence program in the city. He experienced withdrawl from alcohol, cocaine and methamphetamine, and was nearly hospitalized due to the sheer severity. He returned to Los Santos after completion of the program. Upon coming back to Los Santos, Tszyu sought criminal work to resolve his financial difficulties. He started work as a bouncer alongside David Utkin and Iosif “Blondie” Blumkin, two Los Santos-based bouncers who moonlit as drug dealers.

  7. With the possibility for illegal factions to acquire a chop shop, and the recent update regarding powergaming rules, it is mandatory to roleplay chopping up a vehicle before running it through the script to acquire the car parts. I believe this was the case before, in theory, but now it’s on paper and it’s mandatory. In this little guide, I’ll touch over how I personally have roleplayed chopping vehicles throughout the course of a few months in the most simple and understandable way I can. First of all, the car-theft part of this was already touched on a previous thread which I’ll link under this paragraph. It’s well explained so I don’t think I need to repeat anything that was said there. Props to @Pags for this guide: Now, you got your stolen vehicle, drove up to your garage or chop shop. Now what? Now the dismantling process begins. There’s many ways to roleplay this, whether you want to go for a more meticulous, careful way or a more brute force one, it’s up to you. Keep in mind, this is a long, tedious process in real life that could take up hours or even days, so the objective here is to make it shorter and fun to RP around, but sufficient to be up to the server standards. Exterior and engine: You got your vehicle parked up and ready to be worked on, where do we start? It’s obviously up to the person, and this is going to be some sort of a walkthrough of how I do it without going into specific details that I mention in the emotes when I do it. First thing, reach for the hood latch and open the hood. This seems daunting at first, since engines have a lot of parts and whatnot. For the sake of roleplay, some parts are skipped or assumed to be removed in the process. Once you get the hood open, disconnect the battery. This will turn off all electronic systems present in the car, except those that have self batteries. Some cars will have anti-theft. Some of these systems work with the car’s battery, some have their own which keeps it alive for a while if the main battery is disconnected. With the current state of things, it’s impossible to determine which type of anti-theft you are facing. So we’ll leave it at that. Once the battery is out, you need to focus on the engine and what surrounds it. Get rid of any wires, tubes and hoses connected to the engine. After that, you need to remove the exhaust system and transmission, otherwise the engine is not going anywhere. For that, you need to first, lift the vehicle with a car jack, then get underneath. Once you are under the vehicle, a quick google search will tell you what the transmission and exhaust system is. Once you remove the covers, bolts and whatnot, you have successfully removed both parts. Now, for the engine block. (Note: Draining the many fluids present in a vehicle, such as oil, coolant, transmission fluids and whatnot is something that I personally skip, as it is implied that it would’ve been done during this process). For the engine, you’ll need to remove the front grill first, for ease of access and extraction. Now, you can either attach the engine to an engine hoist and pull it up, or use a small crane and let it drop down. This is up to the player and how they decide to roleplay. You can either, as well, unbolt the engine mounts or brute force your way through them with a circular saw. Once the engine mounts, transmission and exhaust systems are detached, you can freely raise or lower the engine out of the vehicle. As for the rest of the engine compartment, the main pieces you should focus on should you wish to roleplay this part, are the radiatior and fan, carburetor and alternator. Up to you if you want to take this parts off, and a quick google search should be enough to tell you how to do that. As for the rest of the exterior, same applies. You can take your time and be careful with it, or brute force your way through it. Whether you decide to unscrew and unbolt the doors, hood and trunk carefully or cut through it with a saw or a blowtorch is up to you. You can remove the roof by doing horizontal cuts on the four corners of it, then pulling it up. As for the side and front fenders, most of them are held up with clips and screws, so that’s easy work. (Note: At this point, glass would also be removed from the vehicle, such as windshield and whatnot. This is another part I tend to skip considering that, most likely, the glass will end up shattered and tossed away). As mentioned before, the car should be raised from the ground with a car jack or any other tool you wish to use or is available to you. You can easily remove the tires using a tire iron or an impact gun, taking the rim nuts out and pulling the tire out of the Wheel well. After that, you want to remove the brake pads and rotors, and any other pieces you wish to focus on such as brake lines and whatnot. Interior: Now, your car is “naked”. No exterior parts, no engine, transmission or exhaust. So, what’s left? The interior. You can remove the dashboard by detaching the glovebox and pulling it out of the dashboard. Then, you can reach for the side screws and the center console. Once that’s removed, you can pull the dashboard forward, reaching underneath to undo all the wiring. If you are brute forcing your way around, it doesn’t matter if the wires are ripped. As for the seats, they rest on two sliders which usually have four bolts, two at the front, and to at the back. You slide the seat forward and back, removing the bolts from both sides as well as the seat belt anchor point. Disconnect the wiring underneath the seat, then wiggle the seat out of the sliders and pull it off. (I personally skip the seat belt anchor part). After removing all the seats and dashboard, you should be left with just the chassis. You can either cut it with a circular saw, blowtorch or leave the chassis whole and store it somewhere else. As for the disposal of parts you don’t need and want to get rid of, it’s up to the player. Could roleplay leaving them in a scrapyard or tossing them at the nearest lake, alley, or wherever you see fit. Notes: Credits to @Deano776 for commenting this! "I’d say a large part of vehicle chopping would be down to chassis numbers and VIN codes left on panels as this can trace the car down to model, year, country of manufacture etc. A VIN can usually be seen in the front window of a car to easily identify it. There’s also a tag in the engine bay which is riveted on and can link the body to the engine. The biggest giveaway for a car being chopped would be dodgy chassis codes in the floor of vehicles under the carpet as they’re embossed into the floor. Depending on who wants the panels/what country it goes to - they could just be ground down or cut out and a new one made up and welded in." I think it's a neat thing you can include in your chopping RP to give it more depth. Conclussion: That’s it. Now you have a car chopped in many parts you can use. Whether you sell them or use them at the factory to create other items, it’s up to the player. At the end of the day, it’s up to the player how many parts the want to keep or how in depth you want to roleplay it. However, the roleplay should be sufficient, not rushed in any way and somewhat in detail. Hope this guide is helpful or at least, serves as a general guideline for those who wish to partake in this kind of roleplay.

  8. Gage MaraVilla, alternatively known as Gage MaraVilla Rifa, is a small but violent street gang that originated with its roots out in East Los Santos in the mid-1980s. In the mid 2010's, the gang's seen a steady decline in activity and is considered partially defunct. Their enemies include the Dog Pound, Krazy Ass Mexicans 13, Lil Eastside, LOTT 13, Geraghty Loma and so on. In recent years, the area has seen a resurgence of gang activty and LSSD officials have found GMV at fault. Maravilla gangs are located in East Los Santos in a vast area patrolled by the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department. As is the case with most Chicano street gangs, each individual gang possesses unique geographical boundaries that physically separate one territory from another. A breakdown of each Maravilla barrio reveals an indicator about its name origination. The following Maravilla gangs are named after streets: Arizona, Fisher, Ford, Fraser, Gage, Kern, Marianna, and Pomeroy. Other Maravilla gangs include High Times, Juarez, Lomita, Lopez, Lote, Rock, Moriya, Maravilla Projects (MVP), Raskals, and Maravilla Rifa. El Hoyo Maravilla, Spanish for “the marvelous hole,” utilizes the shortened version, Hoyo Mara or “HM,” and is the most notorious. Considered the original Maravilla gang, its physical location was referred to as “the hole” (El Hoyo) because of the lowered terrain in which it was situated. “El Hoyo Mara” traces its roots to the Prohibition Era in the 1920’s and has the distinction of surrendering 17 of its top gang members to the Mexican Mafia’s rank and file. The Maravilla gangs should be historically recognized for their contribution to the establishment of, and their resistance to, the Mexican Mafia. For almost a half century, from 1957 until the 2000’s, there existed a dysfunctional love-hate relationship between Maravilla and the Mexican Mafia. The “love” between Maravilla and La EME began in the early years following the Mexican Mafia’s formation in 1957. When Louis “Huero Buff” Flores embarked upon his mission to recruit the “cream of the crop,” the leaders of the predominately Southern California based street gangs, Maravilla gang members were among the first EME to come aboard. Some of the original Mexican Mafia members from Maravilla included Gabriel “Little Sluggo” Castañeda, Richard “Riko” Diaz, Louis “Louie” Araujo, and Rafael “Chispas” Sandoval, each belonging to the Hoyo Maravilla gang. The first documented Mexican Mafia prison murder occurred on December 12, 1961, at San Quentin. It was committed by Alfredo “Cuate” Jimenez, also a member of El Hoyo Maravilla, who stabbed inmate Abel Nevarez to death in the prison’s vocational area. Nevarez sustained 18 stab wounds to his arms and chest and was killed over a drug-related dispute. To all those romanticists who enjoy the narrative of how the Mexican Mafia was once the defenders of La Raza and then turned against their own people, that is an inaccurate story. Like the vast majority of ethnic criminal organizations, La EME has never been motivated by ethnic pride nor is it even mentioned in their Reglas (rules). It it was always about power, status, and our business. Unfortunately, Nevarez was only one of many Hispanics who suffered the EME’s wrath. That’s the difference between those caught up in social movements and those involved in organized crime. It’s simply a case of apples and oranges. In recent years, the largest numerical Mexican-American representation in California youth and adult incarcerations were from the various gangs from Sureno sets. As such, they were held in high esteem and they considered themselves self-appointed emissaries of the Chicano prison population. When the Mexican Mafia was formed at DVI, Maravilla’s leadership role was supplanted virtually overnight as EME’s elite prison warriors became instant superstars among their criminal peers. Nowdays Maravilla is known to pay taxes like any other set due to their image. GBS vs. KAM13 (1996 - Present) The aftermath of the crack epidemic left many families shattered, people ruined and lives claimed. However, there was one particular group making good use of this situation - street gangs. Gage Boys, GMV's newest clique, was ahead of their time when it came to this. They had recently started paying tax and had started showing allegiance to the Mexican Mafia. This required them to pay their dues, so the best way they did it was to flood East Side with crack cocaine. The business was booming, though it was small. There wasn't exactly much to go around. This was when GBS decided to expand their territory. One of the first areas they decided to push to was Fudge Lane, home to the infamous Kamsters (KAM13) gang. They considered them a threat to their business and so shortly after tensions started rising. A confrontation occurred between the two cliques on the evening of July 8th, 1998. Three KAM13 members robbed a few GBS members on Fudge, leaving them with nothing but empty pockets and hurt egos. As soon as word got back to Arthur Murillo a/k/a Looney, a notorious GBS leader, he set out to deal with the matter himself. What started as an argument between him and the Kamster members ended up in him getting shot up not two minutes later. He was shot twice in the stomach and once in the shoulder. Arthur eventually succumbed to his injuries and died on the same spot after emergency services failed to respond on time. There on out, both gangs kept going at it back and forth. The war lasted roughly six years and claimed around eleven lives. The OGs, however, upset of all the bloodshed, decided to come along and establish a peace treaty between the two rivaling street gangs on March 23rd. The war between KAM13 and GBS was put on hold for almost 16 years, but as the saying goes, nothing lasts forever. It sparked again on the night of June 5th, 2015. A house party was taking place on Fudge Lane and several members from both gangs were invited. Everything was going smooth until an argument broke out between Calvin Mena a/k/a X-Boy, a GBS affiliate, and Patrick "Speedy" Perez from KAM's side. Calvin was trying to hit on Patrick's sister Rochelle, but to no avail, Patrick took note of this and started pressing Calvin right on the spot. A huge fight broke out which resulted in Mena pulling a handgun. He let off a shot at Perez in the heat of the moment, hitting him in the shoulder. Everybody ran and the house party came to an end. The incident was brought to Andrew "Tazer" Loyosa's attention, the only GBS leader around at that time. It took seconds for him to throw the peace treaty out the window. He wanted Calvin's head, and so he organized a hit to fulfill that. Calvin was leaving work at Coin Laundry on the night of July 11th, when he saw a black sedan slowly creep up to him. GMV vs LOTT13 (1985 - Present) It all started on the night of April 6th, 1985. Victor "Big Kidd" Santana a notorious LOTT13 leader was leaving the store on Mirror Park street. He noticed a black 1978 Mercury Zephyr following him down the road. The four-door eventually came to a stop around the corner when Javier Alarcon a/k/a Goofy leaned out with a Benelli M1. Harold was held at gunpoint for about five minutes. Both parties kept mouthing each other off until Javier accidentally pulled the trigger and blew Harold's head off right on the spot, killing him instantly. Word got back to other LOTT13 members that the car was packed with two individuals from Gage Maravill Rifa. Rafael "Spider" Loysa, another well-known LOTT13 leader, organized a hit to avenge Harold's death. Four LOTT13 members packed up in a red four-door and set out to seek revenge. It all went down when they open fired at an ongoing backyard party on Fudge Lane, killing around four people and leaving three injured. These consisted of innocent bystanders, women, and children as well. The feud was officially established, as it stemmed further such incidents that'd continue to go on for years.

  10. I dont really have enough words to express what this faction has been for me. I've never found a group who welcomed me this nice and sadly like everything else, has reached an end. Throughout my stay in this faction, we've had ups and downs but the constant reminding of the people who supports you and is always there to help you keep improving has made this a true experience. For the people that will stick around, I just hope we cross our paths once again and we can keep enjoying the perfect community we've accomplished. And for those who have decided to hop off for good, thank you for all the good times and good luck!. - Jask @Dub5ty @Montana Fats @AlphaZER0 @Geo. @Craner @oli @Rum @Leggy3

  13. Short description: Allowing people to toggle whether /ame's appear on the chat instead of just over people's heads. Detailed description: I've seen a trend of people who overuse /ame, whether it's 5 of them in short succession, or a novel, the /ame's are quick to disappear before you get a chance to read it, or you just have the wrong angle on screen. I'm proposing a thing like /toggleame, allowing you to enable or disable having /ame's appear in your chat as well. I just need to specify, regardless of what /toggleame is used, ame's still appear over the heads of people performing the command, the option is just whether or not to also display it in chat. Commands to add: /toggleame Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? It would ensure that no /ame goes AWOL, allowing players to get the full story that they might otherwise have missed. Would be a small quality of life improvement. Additional information:

  15. Trey King is a 16 year old african american, living in the area of Vespucci beach, Melanoma street, where he grew up with his mother and father. The area where he lives was gang infested for most of his life. Even though he and his family were struggling with money they were always law abiding citizens. Trey was tempted many times to join some of his friends and start gang banging with them, but he didn't. He was always a great student and has aspired to become a great lawyer, when he was younger he said he wanted it to "get his friends out of jail". Trey's life wasn't easy, and despite all the temptations he was living a legit life, in an area that is very criminally active. Currently he is attending the Vespucci High school, and still is an "A" student. His parents are pround and work very hard to provide for him. He and his best friend Andre usually hang out after school, he helps his dad with his work sometimes. He loves to play basketball, if he didn't want to become a lawyer, he could be a pro basketball player, at least he thinks so. OOC info This thread will follow the character development and roleplay of Trey King. Hope you enjoy this as much as i do.

  17. Your actions outside the community still affect the community. You can't just claim immunity just because it wasn't said on GTA:W or the forums or something. If you get insulted outside the community, such as discord or whatever- you definitely should just block them and move on, not file a report claiming "ooc insults" because thats petty, honestly. Use your personal judgment here to determine if this person crossed the line. If somebody continually harasses you and makes some serious threats, like dox or death threats, then you definitely have the right to file a report this person. Again, judgement comes into play. A community helps each other out, welcomes each other, holds each other accountable, etc. Players should not be bullied off of the server simply because they don't like each other. You shouldn't have to worry about discrimination and targeted harassment here. And yes, if anybody had any "dirt" on somebody not fit for the community, it should be forwarded to staff instead of just going around claiming you have proof. Then I'm totally down with "booting the fucker from the community". Lol.

  19. Tattoos and clothing are two completely seperate things. We have nto figured out, how to add add-on tattoos, nor will be tattoos for Trevor, Frankling or Michael be usable I believe. Then again, I do not know cause we got no way of making it add-on or even replace as of yet. Clothing, shoes are still being worked on, but I will be honest that I have not been putting all of my time in to that due to other commitments and actually requiring some downtown from making skinmods (that 1.1 pack has burnt us out hard).
