Raquel's family roots come from Mexico and they immigrated to USA before her birth. Raquel herself is a certified Chemist, She got her bachelor's degree after passing her final exam. During her student years, she was dedicating her life towards studies and work experience. She used to work at Chemical Factory, where she overlooked the process of ammonia synthesis and has gained a lot of practical experience. Raquel's father used to work as a pipeline construction engineer, he got himself an Angiosarcoma ( Blood Vessel Cancer in Liver ) from working with Vinyl chloride . Inadequate care in the public hospital and lack of medical support has driven Raquel to violate some of the ethics of science and she started cooking Methamphetamine in hopes of making money from it, to support his father. Due to the competition, gangs and lack of knowledge she couldn't manage to sell her product. Inadequate care and delay of the surgery has lead to her father's death. Her mother was a nurse at the local hospital, she had a busy routine, working long shifts for better payment, with her income she used to pay for her husband's chemotherapy. After a death of her husband she was stuck in the financial dead end, which Raquel helped her with. Routine-like nature of her life and chronical stress, which she gained from over-working, has degraded her mental state, in addition, losing a father really traumatized her, which she blames herself for. She used to struggle financially, earning only 400$ per month as a student, working for SACMD ( San Andreas Chemical Manufacturing and Distribution Corporation ), But after doing a side-business of Methamphetamine synthesis, her financial struggles were somewhat over. After years she focused on working on her own and making her own money, chasing her ambitions. She was constantly violating Scientific Ethics and created illegal substances, some of the substances that she used to experiment on new things for her cause. This side of Raquel was disguised from her loved ones, except from her , now deceased, ex-boyfriend named Rafael which shared her behavior. A relationship with her ex-boyfriend lead her deeply into criminality and wiped most of her morals from her consciousness. She has never been too kind nor ever showed empathy towards people that she didn't know, but she went even further during her association and work-period with her boyfriend's circle. To escape from harsh reality, she became depended on alcohol, visiting a local bar, leaving it drunk, on weekly basis. She had rather nihilistic approach to her life, focusing on science and personal improvement, lust which she gained from almost pathological reading/studying ___ After cooking methamphetamine for her income, earning an experience in her field of expertise as a student and death of her mother years after, Raquel has moved to live in Los Santos. She has spent past 5 years, living in Los Santos, chasing her hobby as an artist, doing tattoos and gaining experience in this new field of her interests. Sadly for her, she couldn't achieve what she was hoping for during her time of living as a normal, legal citizen. With her qualification, she could only find very harsh and demanding job vacancies in Chemical manufacturing factories, which didn't appease her. One day, when she was visiting a local club, she ran into a man who called himself " Poke " and she ended up dating him. Over a course of months, they developed a nice chemistry in between one another. After few months, Poke introduced Raquel to his inner circle, which he involved himself in with criminal activities. Poke himself was very tight with his friends, some of them which had huge influence around the streets. Poke introduced Raquel to his close friend Yaffa, who really liked Raquel's abilities and offered her a job as his cook, which Raquel immediately accepted. Raquel is settling in and is preparing to do her work for Yaffa, soon as he provides her with necessary chemicals and Indoor building for her methamphetamine synthesis. Raquel has developed very manipulative and calculated personality as she doesn't hold herself from using it for her gain on a road of her underground career of drug manufacturing. She is extremely calculated in her matters and makes a lot of assessments before making her move, which has served her well during her past years, keeping her crime record clean and without a trace of criminal behavior. Raquel is very patient, willing to plan her move in advance and follow the planned protocol as it ensures the biggest chance of success of her operations and acts.

Thread follows the lives of certain people living in San Andreas and their endeavors with Mexican Organized Crime as independent narcos. The thread should NOT be mistaken for a Cartel faction, instead it's just an independent group of primarily; Paisas, that are involved in the same network so to speak. As of currently speaking we're not a faction and don't currently aspire to be one, at the moment. Bare in mind you don't need to roleplay Mexican to get anywhere, there's tons of Caucasians, African-Americans and Asians involved with Mexican Organized Crime in real life. It's an American based network. The thread as is will basically the remain the same concept it has been since November-December of last year (2021).

From savior to survivor; Frank O'Shea M.D's story BY GIANNO MATHINI The scene of the kidnapping and the usual quiet Vinewood neighborhood Spanish Avenue, The Royale Apartments, Los Santos - A usually quiet section of Vinewood, that is up until a few weeks ago. "I had already been on alert, as the past few weeks had been nothing but disaster for me." Frank O'Shea tells me in a personal interview, post kidnapping escape. He had been in the midst of a new uprising in the Vinewood hills. Allegedly there is a new Mafia family on the block, and they specialize in snatch and grab kidnappings. Frank, a typically boisterous, outspoken Doctor, had that sense of living taken from him the evening of May 5th, 2021. "I thought it was going to just be a quiet night, I hate to admit it, but yes, I indulge in a cigarette here and there, so I went downstairs to have myself some relaxing, ALONE time", said Frank. By the time frank had made his way down the stairs, reaching into his pocket, for his lighter, it had already hit him. He had been brutally pistol whipped in the back of the head, bound, gagged, and tossed into the back of a white sedan. A capture from the somewhat of a horror film-esk location, Vinewood hills tunnel in the hills "I had no idea what had happened, it was all so fast, so sudden, before I knew it, we were in the hills near the Vinewood tunnel, I think I had blacked out from the pain", Frank said about the abductors and their assault. When he finally came too, he said it was that of a horror film. Stranded, bloody, semi-conscious, only to see a white sedan driving straight at him. He said, "All I remember is my mind yelling "get out of the way, get out of the way" almost as if a natural instinct was pulling me away, and that's all that saved me that night, from having my lower half crushed, to only getting my ankle slightly nicked." Deputy Joshua Olson, first responder to the scene "I responded to an armed robbery, I take every call the same, you never know what you're going to encounter, you don't know these gangs now-a-days. They're relentless, especially these new Vinewood thugs, they're crafty, they know what they're doing." I continued the conversation into asking him about the ongoing kidnappings, and the overall feel around the Vinewood area. "It's a new time and age in Los Santos, we aren't use to these mid-day snatch and grabs. Criminals are becoming bolder, taking riskier chances, not sure if it's the recent state of the city, or what. All I can say is remain vigilant, as those two are still at large." Deputy Olson closed his statement with that. The Los Santos County Sherriff Department, where the ongoing investigation into this alleged crime group is taking place. Bonus - After the entire incident I was able to meet up with Doctor Frank O'Shea and he seemed to be chipper and had a statement for the abductors! "I might have been beaten, scared, left alone. But I knew the city of Los Santos would have my back, and Our medical team here at Pillbox Hospital did the absolute best anyone could ask for." Dr. Frank O'Shea - Physician at Pillbox medical posing after being treated from a sprained ankle and beatings from the brutal abduction, obviously you can't take down his high spirits.

We've overhauled the drug system so many times at this point. Doing it again isn't the answer. The change really starts with players selling the drugs. They'll say "I've never robbed someone after dealing drugs to them," and I have no reason to doubt that for any given individual - but so many interactions with drug pushers end so poorly that it's no wonder legal players avoid them like the plague. The culture surrounding illegal RP has to change, and that's not something anyone can change but the same illegal RPers. You'd need an illegal faction to coordinate across time zones well enough to police their own turf and stop the aforementioned interactions from taking place to start building trust with their customers - and just reading that, you're probably as skeptical of that ever happening as I am. I'm happy to be proven wrong if that day comes - but until then? Drug RP is a lost cause, and has been since the day of its inception.
