Hello everyone! To start off with a stat that we are all very excited about, we hit 1000 players actively on the server at the same time in April. The rate we are growing at is something we are very proud of, and want to thank all of you for contributing toward! We hope to continue growing and providing more awesome content and features for you all to enjoy! In April GTA:W received some awesome new features, one that has been long requested being Hunting! To accompany this roleplay shift toward the dangerous mountains and county area of the map, a new LEO faction has also been introduced to protect and monitor that area. The Park Rangers are now in full swing! So don't be surprised if you notice them patrolling around the mountains! Be sure if you're a hunter you have you license on hand in case you bump into them! The Park Rangers are solely based on the niche areas of Mount Chilliad, Mount Gordo and leaking into the sandy shores area for now, but have the potential to expand as more national parks are declared across the map. If this is an area of roleplay that interests you, be sure to keep an eye out as they will be opening recruitment within the coming weeks! On the admin side of things, as we continue to grow as a team, and implement new practices and expectations we hope to continue narrowing down the wait time for reports both in-game and on the forums. As this is a goal of ours, wait times are sometimes unavoidable given the peak time has us pushing up to a thousand players with only 51 admins in total, and an average of around 10 admins online at once. As you can imagine 10 admins for 1000 players is a lot of people to be helping, so if you are required to wait on a report, just remember that we are working our hardest, and we truly appreciate your patience! Unfortunately @FearnR will be stepping down from Management and resigning from the staff team entirely. With FearnR's resignation we do not anticipate any hiccups or issues with this transition. We expect things to continue running smooth with @Pillsburyoverseeing all admin related matters and @Groz overseeing all support related matters. Short description: Allow ROLEPLAYED CAPITAL PUNISHMENT, by those who want to roleplay it. Detailed description: We had a recent case of a player with a great character development who was sentenced to death (post in additional information). Legal Faction Management ( @HaveADream, and I don't know if others) didn't let the roleplay of the capital punishment happen because they are OOCly uncomfortable with that idea. No one is forcing anyone to watch the roleplay, those who are uncomfortable should simply not assist, but OOC ideology of admins shouldn't be the thing ruling us. Capital punishment is a thing in our beautiful San Andreas, and it should be roleplayed, as long as there is enough willing people to do it. NO ONE IS FORCED TO, IF YOU ARE SENTENCED TO DEATH, AND YOU DON'T WANT THE RP TO HAPPEN JUST GET CKED BY AN ADMIN AND THAT'S THAT, BUT IF YOU WANT TO, AND THERE ARE ENOUGH DEPUTIES/DOCTORS THAT WANT TO, THEN DON'T STOP IT FROM HAPPENING! And for the famous argument of: California has not condoned capital punishment in a long time There is the final answer of: This is not California, this is San Andreas, and we have a worse crime and murder rate that Honduras, if California had this crime rate it would be different. We don't follow California law. Commands to add: None Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server?: Well, give more freedom, instead of stablishing a censorship on certain topics, when they are a thing in game. OOC ideology should NEVER be the thing ruling the game, and the roleplay. There was no reason other than OOC ideology to forbid this roleplay from happening. It is not acceptable. The player had to NPC it, taking some really good roleplay that only happens once in a blue moon from us. I do appreciate Have A Dream, I do think HAD is a person who puts a lot of work, and is very cooperative, but with all due respect, it's kind of bullshit for an admin to be able to say This doesn't fit my OOC ideology so it will be abolished in game, or at least not roleplayed. We have SUICIDE, TORTURE, RAPE, AND CONSTANT MURDER ON THE SERVER, now Capital Punishment is the sensitive topic? Additional information:

This topic follows Jason Gauldoni, a 3rd generation 26 year old Italian-American. Jason Gualdoni was born on June 14th, 1995 at Los Santos Medical Center. During his childhood, his mother struggled as an alcoholic single parent. This led Jason to fall into the world of crime from a young age. Throughout high school, he'd do anything to make a quick buck that didn't involve physical labor, which often got him in trouble. He and his best friend, Richard Morra, were often seen selling cigarettes and lottery tickets during school lunch. Those were his first steps into the organized crime world. After graduation, Jason and Richard continued to branch out of their comfort zone more and more. They both dreamed of making it big, so from then on, they both vowed to one day make it. From breaking into cars to selling drugs. Whether it was to prove something to someone or just to make money. Eventually, Jason was caught with narcotics and was sentenced to a year in jail. There he met Mark Romano, which after getting out of jail, opened Jason up to more opportunities. (( The main goal of this thread OOCly is to keep track of Jason's character arc. A personally character thread is much more efficient as it adds context to the actual character in question rather than having to search for it in the faction pages. Short description: Reduce or completely remove the aggression of coyotes as it's unrealistic. Detailed description: Coyote attacks in real life are very rare in comparison what we have in the server, where coyotes roam into towns and areas where there are large amounts of people without ANY fear for humans. In real life just like any other wild animal they try to stay away from us humans. Furthermore, in real life there are approximately ten attacks on humans throughout the year in the entirety of USA in comparison to our ten attacks daily. This issue needs to be fixed and there's a few ways it can be done. The first one would make them FEAR actual things like vehicle horns and any other loud noise that would literally scare almost any animal on earth. Here is a reference and example on how even one of the most dangerous animals on earth can be scared away by simply being intimidating. But in San Andreas coyotes fear ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Just as an example, You could be passing on the highway and see a coyote running through it.. okay in the real life you'd just use your horn and you'd think they scatter off into the forest? Absolutely no, this is San Andreas and instead of running away, the coyote lays down in the MIDDLE of the highway and just chills there, not giving a piss about what these puny humans bring upon him. So yeah, we have terminator coyotes that fear nothing and are deterred by nothing as so, it's really unrealistic and should be fixed or tweaked. What the fuck is happening? Why are Second Life characters roaming Los Santos and taking out criminals in firefights? This roleplay fucking sucks. I cannot think of a single instance where a cat girl showing up in an alleyway to Mozambique Drill somebody with a concealed-carry would improve the scene. People's characters clearly need more scrutiny before they are issued with these licenses so that we can stop any more of this goofiness. Not every civilian should be armed 24/7. Stop giving people who are just playing really weird videogame avatars of themselves easy access to guns. Please discuss.
