  1. A BRIEF HISTORY OF JEWISH ORGANIZED CRIME IN THE WEST COAST (LAS VEGAS) The Roots The Big Seven One - of the major crime organizations in America stemmed from Jewish and Italian gangs working out of New York City. Young Maier Suchowlansky and Benjamin Siegelbaum, better known in later years as Meyer Lansky and Ben "Bugsy" Siegel, hailed from Brooklyn, New York. The Jewish gangs' traditional rivals were the Italians, who had established "the Mafia," the most powerful crime organization in the country. While Italian and Jewish gangs operated independently of one another and kept within their ethnic roots, Lansky, Siegel, and Salvatore "Lucky" Luciano were the exception. These powerful men of different ethnic backgrounds initiated a multi-ethnic gang years before Prohibition served to unify and ethnically integrate organized crime. Lansky, Siegel and Luciano formed a gang, the Bugs and Meyer Mob, in Manhattan's Lower East Side. By 1929 they were one of "the Big Seven" largest and most influential bootlegging operations in the Northeastern United States. Bootlegging, Robbery, Gambling and Murder - As most gangsters did in the early 20th century, the Mafia and the Bugs and Meyer Mob earned their living through bootlegging, robbery, gambling and murder. The gangsters' actions went more mainstream after the passing of the 18th Amendment in 1918. With Prohibition banning the manufacture, transportation and sale of alcoholic beverages, gangs had an easy entrance to public support by providing liquor through bootlegging and the black market. Because so many Americans criticized and condemned Prohibition, they supported the gangs' approach, and Prohibition thus served as the catalyst for the extreme growth in power and scope of organized crime. When the 21st Amendment repealed Prohibition in 1933, the Bugs and Meyer Mob lost their main source of income. However, in anticipation of the end of Prohibition, members of one-time competing crime factions came together to form a loosely bound organization, entitled "the Syndicate." Lansky and Luciano were two of the Syndicate's bosses. In truth, many of Las Vegas’s early gambling resorts were initially conceived and built by forward-thinking businessmen, primarily from Los Angeles, not by men with ties to organized crime. These businessmen included Thomas Hull, a hotelier; R.E. Griffith, who owned a chain of movie theaters; and Guy McAfee, a former LA police sergeant. However, it didn’t take long for significant players in organized crime families from the eastern United States – many of whom already ran extensive illegal gambling operations – to realize the opportunity that existed in Nevada, the only U.S. state where gambling was legal. Once Siegel’s involvement in the Flamingo opened the floodgates to organized crime’s entry into the Las Vegas casino industry, the stream of “connected” casino owners and operators would flow practically unabated for nearly two decades. Their ties to large East Coast crime families gave mobsters the access to capital for building hotel-casinos in the scope of the Flamingo as well as the connections to enforce the private system of justice needed to protect their interests: Anyone caught stealing from or otherwise cheating the Desert Inn, Flamingo, Stardust, or any of the number of casinos with mob ties would face more serious repercussions from the casino ownership than from the actual law in Las Vegas. In Las Vegas - After Siegel, who had once famously noted of Syndicate members, "We only kill each other," was murdered in 1947, Gus Greenbaum, Davey Berman, and Morris Rosen, three of the Syndicate's chief authorities, took over the Flamingo. The hotel's success prompted the Syndicate to pour more money into building Strip resorts, and by the 1950s, the Strip was lined with hotel-casinos, many, if not all, funded by Syndicate money. From the 1940s through the 1970s, Las Vegas and its lavish resorts were made possible in large part by the mob, who not only funded resort development, but offered indispensable knowledge in casino management. Men who had little-to-no criminal records fronted the resorts. Behind the scenes, so-called "Miami hotel men" took undeclared, thus untaxed, money from the establishment's profits. As the Syndicate's "chairman," Lansky was the Syndicate's accountant. He was responsible for collecting, and then dividing, the skim. THE THEORY ON AMERICAN JEWISH ORGANIZED CRIME TODAY The Nevada/New York/Miami Families - Unlike Italians, American Jewish crime is decentralized, having never opted for a commission or heirarchy. In modern times, organized crime is cultivated, enforced and led in territories by families, most often claiming ownership over such territory from the "Jewish Golden Era" of the 1960s, post Vegas- and the onset of Cuban capital investments. The grandchildren of these men, have continued the legacy of enforcing a Diasporic Jewish hold over Las Vegas, New York and Miami despite the massive and successful Cosa Nostra wipeout by Rudy Giuliani in the early 2000s. With a Zionist, Diasporic ideology in the bedrock of their adhesion, Jewish organized crime has become incredibly intertwined with legal business, become one of the largest global "grey" powers, according to Reuters International, 2021, attributed with the exportation of small arms and Israeli contraband, including weapon accessories and acid-wash, high grade MDMA. The conference of Jewish families over Vegas realized what few did, long before cartels in Mexico caught on: the American capitalist machine is the greatest producer of guns. Nevada, as a state lauded for check-less gun shows, of high caliber guns restricted in most states, with automatic capabilities, doesn't require the import of guns. Using false names and countless "ghosts", buyers who circulate IDs, Vegas is now invading Los Santos with American grade, American grade products. With approximately 2.5 - 3 million guns being sent down south to Mexico, Colombia and further down the Latin Pipeline, Vegas has sought to build a truly American pipeline, using their proximity to Los Santos to bleed trucks over the border - loaded with imports, goods - and much more. Las Vegas, The Weiss Family - From an older generation, an age where aforementioned men were of certain relevance, the Weiss family has developed into a major force of judgement, arbitration and order in Vegas. As time went on, and Vegas built into the city it's known to be now, the Weiss family focused their efforts on import and export, using the cross-over town in the middle of the desert as a hub for continental exchange. As Nevada's gun laws are extremely lax, an upsurge of firearms being found at the border, leaving Nevada has increased since Alexander Weiss has been rumored to take over for his ailing father. The Weiss Family invested heavily into commercial real estate in Las Vegas, surfing the casino wave until their assets were substantial enough to establish a kosher food and goods manufacturing and distribution service. Suddenly, Alexander Weiss sets out to do what his family has prepared for three generations: empire, and everything in between, and in the city state of Las Vegas, to maintain Princedom, and unite the Jewish families under him to bring Vegas to San Andreas State, in force. ISRAELI ORGANIZED CRIME IN THE UNITED STATES ORGANIZED CRIME (OC) - Vegas has longstanding roots in Israel, but in recent years there has been a sharp increase in the reach and impact of Israeli organized crime networks. Seeking a competitive advantage in numerous fields, such as narcotics and prostitution, Israeli crime groups have shown their ability to engage in violent attacks on each other with little regard for innocent bystanders. The Israeli National Police (INP) and the courts have engaged in a fierce operation against organized crime leaders, including the creation of a new specialized anti-OC unit, but they remain unable to cope with the full scale organizations and it's hierarchies. Organized crime in Israel has now bypassed global levels, with direct impact in the United States. The United States government has been trying their best to keep the Israeli organized crime groups out of the USA, establishing multiple travel restrictions for known mob figures. Some of them, who manage to bypass these restrictions, end up in the country to pave the way for the Jews all across the country. Israeli organized crime groups now play a major role in the global drug trade, feeding both a local market and an transit point to Europe and the United States. In 2004, Zeev Rosenstein was arrested in Israel for possession of 700,000 ecstasy tablets in his apartment in New York. The drugs were later on identified as part of the distribution of ecstasy tablets in the US. He was ultimately extradited to the United States in 2006. Zeev Rosenstein was freed from his sentence just eight months before his sentence was over, spending alleged seventeen years in prison with five years coming from a plea deal over conspiracy to commit murder. Two other crime figures, Meir Abergil and Israel Ozifa, are also facing U.S. extradition charges on charges that include smuggling 100,000 ecstasy tablets into the United States. Given the voliume of transport and trade between the United States and Israel, it is not surprising that Israeli organized crime groups have also gained a foothold in America. Over the last decade, media reports have detailed a number of high-profile cases involving Israeli OC, ranging from large-scale drug deals to murder. The ongoing Central District of San Andreas grand jury investigation against the Abergil family, where a RICO conspiracy case was initiated in December 2007, best demonstrates the full extent of such criminal activity. Investigators have linked Yitzhak Abergil and his entire network to crimes such as: embezzlement, extortion, kidnapping and money laundering. Yitzhak Abergil is currently under arrest in Israel and facing extradition for related charges linking him to the murder of Israeli drug dealer Samy Attias on U.S. soil. The organization fuses criminal, capitalist, and Jewish mystic ethos in its ways of approaching business and inner and outside conflicts. The synagogue plays an important role, being considered by the Jews as a place of reconciliation, both spiritual and legal, unreachable by the authorities, where agreement and deals are signed by the prominent members of the organization. Members of the organization follow strict guidelines and are to do the most to avoid inner circle issues. TODAY Jewish influence has been relatively untouched in Las Vegas, with its enterprises entering the legitimate sphere in the late 20th century. Because of this, many Israelis have taken refuge in the city. Although Israeli organized crime is often separate from American Jewish organized crime, the two spheres are known to operate closely, and sometimes exclusively together in regard to expansion, territory, ethic and enforcement. From the JDL MC, the Vegas Mob, the New York Ashkenazis, and Miami - the Jewish American organized crime sphere is vast, and Vegas' portrayal will be true to American Judaism, in building realistic fraternity between fellow Judeans. ABOUT US OUT OF CHARACTER Vision Statement The Vegas Conference was founded in April 2021, by a collective of like-minded individuals with the common objective of providing genuine Organized Crime (OC) through the lens of American Jewish mobsters, with regards of the already established criminal environment in Los Santos. In the May of the same year, our faction's reach and internal hierarchy were reorganized in that of an Organized Crime Network (OCN), surpassing ethnic boundaries in conformity with more current, real-life, organizations, incorporating a large scope of criminal activities through different and associated criminal entourages, cliques and crews. The Vegas Conference prides itself as a faction that is exigent when it comes to a realistic and genuine character portrayal. As it should be, our purpose as a faction is to provide up-to-the-mark roleplay to the community, putting a higher bar of expectations when it comes to criminal roleplay as a whole. We're doing our part in solidifying the community's trust in illegal roleplay. We encourage diverse, feet to the ground, characters to interact and associate with us. We welcome characters from vastly different layers of life, criminal or legal. As a principle, your character's development is important to us, and, as a faction, or rather a community, we will provide the necessary guidance to our members so they can improve. For more information, contact @Villainous or join our Discord at https://discord.gg/vNhRcNcFcn CK RIGHTS OBTAINED UPON /FINVITE ACCEPT, AND SUBJECT TO EXECUTION AT DISCRETION OF FACTION LEADERSHIP. RECRUITMENT INTO VEGAS CONFERENCE REQUIRES AN ADMIN RECORD CHECK AND UNDERSTANDING OF AMERICAN ORGANIZED CRIME.

  4. The Varrio Harpys gang (HPS) also known as Harpys 13 or Varrio Harpys, is a predominantly Hispanic street gang that originated in the area of Grove street in the Western of South Central Los Santos by the 1960s. This group of teenagers have been known to terrorize the city throughout the years until recently back in 2017 that the group has suffered from the first ever gang injuction at South Central. History of the Harpys gang The Varrio Harpys gang (HPS) also known as Harpys 13 or Varrio Harpys, is a long-standing Hispanic street gang that originated in the area of Grove street in the Western of South Central Los Santos by the 1960s. The heart of their neighborhood stretched from Chamberlain’s gas station to the dead end of Grove Street. The roots of the Harpys can be traced back into the early 1960s when a group of teenage immigrants decided to make a name for themselves among the surrounding gangs in the area of Los Santos. The gang took their name from the Harpy Eagle, which is the largest and most powerful raptor found in America to symbolize power. They frequently were seen wearing baseball team Houston Astro's merchandise as the team's logo is a large H. The Harpys unwillingly shared their turf with two other small gangs who were believed to be nothing but two local football clubs under the names of The Dead End and the Wild Bunch at the time. As years passed by the Harpys became more centralized and the gang increased in size, gaining its reputation for violence. During this time the feuds between the two football teams and other football teams in the area were escalating, eventually ending with the rivalries leaving the field. Fights escalated between the two groups starting from low risk brawls, and quickly evolved into stabbings and eventually shootings. The public was quick to realize that the groups were no longer just football clubs and gang units marked both clubs down as their own gangs, noting their rivalries. Resulting for both of the small gangs to emerge into a single, unified Harpys gang in order to strengthen themselves and beef up their numbers. They consisted of multiple cliques such as the 25th Street Tiny Locos (TLS), 27th Street Chicos Malos (CM), 28th Street Dukes (DKS), 39th Street Tokers, and 5th Avenue Midgets (MGS) On September 6, 1980, three members of 18th Street were shot to death by members of the Harpys, giving birth to a long term war between the two sets. The constant warring consisted of a number of shootings, most of which ended in a death. The beef still stands to this day as a peace hasn't been reached between the two sets. 13 Ruben, known as “Doc”, was the leader of Harpys, a Latino street gang in South Central Los Santos. On May 16, 1988, three years after entering the state prison system he rose through the ranks of the prison system to become a dreaded member of the Mexican Mafia. Roman had been a state prisoner since 1985, when he began serving a sentence of life without the possibility of parole for first-degree murder. As a member of the syndicate, authorities said in court documents, Roman was authorized to collect narcotics and extortion proceeds from not just his own gang but a panoply of others in South Los Santos: 38th Street, 36th Street, Primera Flats, Playboys and East Side Trece, among others. By 2012 Doc still managed to maintain his grip on the gang from inside prison, Roman controlled a territory in South Los Santos bordered by Popular Street to the east, Davis Avenue to the west, Adam’s Apple Boulevard to the north and La Puerta Freeway to the south, but on 2017 the feds hit them hard as part of the two-and-a-half year “Operation Roman Empire” investigation, feds say they seized 8-and-a-half pounds of meth, a half pound of heroin, a pound of cocaine, 23 pounds of marijuana and 24 guns. Charging 18 Harpys members and associates, including Ruben’s daughter, Catalina, with racketeering, drug trafficking and various violent crimes. On June 11 2020, Ruben “Doc” Santos, a Mexican Mafia member who controlled swaths of South Los Santos from various prison cells throughout San Andreas, was stabbed to death Wednesday at a substance abuse treatment facility in TTCF, the state prison system said Thursday. History of the Grove Street Harpys Grove street has witnessed the rise of various street gangs. One of the most recent gangs to operate in the area and call Grove street their home was the Ghetto Boyz, previously known as Ghetto Boyz 13 before their feud with the Mexican Mafia. The Ghetto Boyz succeeded in keeping a tight grip on Grove neighborhood, turning into one of the most notorious gangs in the city of Los Santos. The good days were quickly cut short. There are various stories about what happened and why the beef between the Ghetto Boyz and the Mexican Mafia started but throughout all the stories only one thing is consistent, the ending. Some stories say the beef was ignited after a Camarada; An associate of the Mexican Mafia, was shot in Chamberlain during an attack which was carried on by members of the Ghetto Boyz on Tortilla Flats 13 gang. The shooting of the Camarada was said to have led into the fracture between the Ghetto Boyz and the Mexican Mafia. An Associate of the Mexican Mafia was killed under mysterious circumstances on March 6, the Camarada's body was found shot to death in a dumpster somewhere outside Los Santos' county lines and the Ghetto Boyz to blame. The Mexican Mafia was bound to retaliate with Grove Street Harpys participating. This has led to a series of attacks carried on by multiple sets in the city against the Ghetto Boyz. As the "Boyz" were getting murdered around every corner of South Central, houses were turned into ashes. Eventually bringing Ghetto Boyz out of power. On April 6 2017, Dead End Harpys XIII was dragged along with the first ever gang injunction request after the “Operation Roman Empire” succeeded with the downfall of it’s previous leader Catalina “Temper” Santos, and ended up in the arrest of most Harpys gang members. Few members left or tried to take control of the leadership after the former shotcaller Adam “Stoner” Venegas got booked for his involvement during the Arsoning and Capital murders of Ghetto Boyz 13. While in the spree of arrests, the gang now also dealt with their own members infighting for control of the set. The turnout created an unwanted presence between the younger barrio kids, who chose to avoid joining the gang. Eventually leading to their drop of recruitments and ultimately left Grove Street taken over by any current gangs in the area. Today’s Harpys Survivors or otherwise newer generation members of the Harpys 13 gang have adapted themselves into the Roy Lowenstein / Avenues district of Los Santos. A dangerous gang-area known to occupy with gangs such as; Dark Side Neighborhood Bloods, S/S Avenidas, and King Kobras 13 in the general location. For these young gangsters the gang lifestyle is their way to put food on the plate for their families and for their personal needs. This new generation of Harpys soon adopted the ways of the old generation, taking advantage of the already increasing crime rate in the city of Los Santos to bring back the gang together and make a name for themselves under the clique of Dead End Avenue currently led by Miguel “Dreamer” Gomez. The gang’s main revenue was from the street level distribution of narcotics such as Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin and Methamphetamine. In no time, the new generation found their way back to distribute them narcotics using their felonious talents, while petty crimes like tagging walls and slanging drugs make up the majority of the gang’s criminal activity. The varrio Harpys is no stranger to much more serious crimes such as grand theft auto, burglary, armed robbery, small scale business racketeering / extortion, and even murder.

  5. As usual with every security events impacting the server, I always try to make a write-up on what happened to give you full transparency over the issue. You'll find below a timeline (CET) of the events : 11:15 : OVH alert about a DDoS impacting our main game server. Impact : Players cannot connect anymore with the following error : 11:20 : Our internal monitoring triggers an alert regarding an unusual decrease of player compared to the average, I arrive on computer and check discord and notice this error. 11:25 : Initial thought is that the DDoS attack was targeting Rage services directly, and OVH decided to fully block Rage's ports until their mitigation blocks the attack. 11:30 : I notice that Eclipse Roleplay are also impacted and immediately create a group discussion with NBDY (their owner) to investigate the issue 12:00 : OVH mitigation stops, I decide to restart the server to see if the ports would be available after a restart and to allow everyone to login : big fail, no one can connect. 12:15 : Since OVH mitigation wasn't responsible for the error, we decide to fully analyze the network traffic and discover that we're being attacked on two front : 1) Thousands of Amazon AWS EC2 instances, Google Cloud and dozens of other providers are massively DDoSing Rage's 22006 port which is used to download files by downloading the files on their instances and thus completely block the traffic. 2) A denial of service attack is also ongoing on Rage's 22005 game port, this time with UDP requests in order to spam the gameserver and ensure that players cannot properly connect to it / play. The analysis confirms that this is an advanced targeted attack by someone who knew perfectly how to attack RageMP and prepared its attack with cloud instances to download files. RageMP team is also immediately contacted for support on the issue. 14:00 : We blacklist every IP ranges of known cloud providers from being able to access port 22006 with no luck : the amount of random hosts is still too high and players cannot download files at all. 15:00 : Rage's main developer joins our discord group and gives us multiple advices in how to handle it. 15:30 : 16 servers are purchased from OVH to split the incoming traffic and redirect the traffic in case one server goes down. 16:30 : The new mitigation infrastructure is deployed, along with an UDP packet filtering to only whitelist valide UDP rage packets and thus prevent a denial of service on the gameserver service itself. Players can finally start to login slowly. A rage security setting is also deployed on port 22006 to blacklist DDoSing IP. 18:00 : Players who do not need to download any files can properly login, but others are stuck in "Loading server resources" phase, the download is ultra slow due to the security measures, thus no one can really download the files. 21:00 : We disable the Rage's security setting on file download and recode our own thanks to Rage's tips, the game server is restarted and everyone can finally login properly / download files. 21:30 : The DDoS is still ongoing but no impacts at all anymore for players. 7:00 am the next day : Finally caught up with all my IRL work I had to put aside for few hours. 8:00 am: Back to IRL work of the next day! This has been the most advanced DDoS attack we've received since GTMP's era in 2017 where we fought for months with an attack. I can't thank Rage's owner enough for all the help which allowed me to fully block the attack. With this new mitigation infrastructure we're ready to face major future attacks that might happen due to new competitors.

  7. David Utkin David Viktorovich Utkin was born on August 6, 1990 in Los Santos, San Andreas as the oldest of two children born to Viktor Utkin (January 16, 1959 – March 5, 2015) and Ludmila Utkina (nee Fridzona) (May 16 ,1964). Viktor Utkin was of entirely Russian descent, and Ludmila Utkina was of Russian, Estonian, Baltic Swedish and Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry. Utkin's paternal family have resided in the St Petersburg region since the Medieval ages and were historically aristocratic. His maternal family originates from Yaroslavl, Kursk and Parnu, Estonia. Many of Utkin's extended maternal relatives form part of the Russian minority in the Baltics. Utkin's father worked as an industrial engineer in St Petersburg. His younger brother, Robert Utkin, was born in Los Santos in 1997. Utkin's parents were emigrants from Soviet Russia who had arrived in the U.S. in 1989. They were living in Gatchina, a city to the southwest of St Petersburg before leaving the republic. They had been married in St Petersburg during a secular ceremony in 1984. His parents departed the Soviet Union using the notoriously rare Type 2 Exit Visa, which rendered them stateless as they arrived in the United States. A number of his other family members arrived in the U.S. during the 1990s; they all settled in New York City, San Fierro and Los Santos. Utkin's family has a lengthy history with Eurasian Organized Crime in the U.S. that dates back to the 1990s. Two of his uncles have been documented as belonging to criminal organizations in San Andreas since at least 1997. Several of his cousins, from both sides of his family, are involved with Eurasian Organized Crime in Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Vegas. His parents had legitimate careers and were never involved with any crime. Early life David and his younger brother Robert were raised in the Vinewood district of Los Santos during their childhoods. In particular, they lived in the neighborhoods of West Vinewood and Mirror Park. They inhabited public housing projects that housed other recent emigrants from post-Soviet states. Therefore, Utkin and his younger brother experienced a culturally Russian upbringing with parents who never fully integrated with local society. Utkin's parents were unable to speak any English, so resultantly, the first and only language that he learned in the home was Russian. He didn't start learning English until he was enrolled in the Los Santos school system at the age of 5. For several years, he experienced bullying due to his English illiteracy. Being verbally tormented and physically beaten up at schools is what caused him to pursue bodybuilding from a young age. In Mirror Park, Utkin's uncle Ivan had constructed a home gym out of his garage using stolen exercise equipment. Utkin started exercising there after school shortly after his 8th birthday. Ivan Utkin was a serial burglar who was later incarcerated for 5 years in the Bolingbroke Penitentiary for his residential crimes around Vinewood. He was deported back to Moscow, Russia from Los Santos after being released from state prison in 2009. Utkin graduated from Mirror Park Centennial High School in in 2009, at age 17. He became a renowned varsity football player during his high school years in Vinewood. He was also a competitive bodybuilder while fighting in youth MMA circles around Los Santos. He had several run-ins with the Los Santos police during his high school years. These incidents resulted from him physically fighting his old bullies. Although he had been arrested multiple times, criminal charges were never laid for the assaults. His teachers once remarked to his parents that he had a promising future ahead of him, should he pursue collegiate athletics. Upon graduating high school in his late teens, Utkin had multiple jobs. He worked at bars, restaurants and inside of surfing shops. In 2011, at age 19, he began studies at the San Andreas University's campus in Los Santos. He majored in Kinesiology while minoring in Biology. During his freshman year of university, he successfully tried out for the San Andreas University's Golden Bears football team. However, he was cut after playing just 3 exhibition games as a Linebacker. He dropped out of university after just a year due to fears over exorbitant student debt. Another contributing factor was how his dreams of becoming a professional athlete were slashed while still a student. His choice to prematurely end his education caused a significant rift between himself and his parents, to the point where they sporadically forbade him from staying at home. At one point, he considered joining the Los Santos police but instead chose to become a bouncer in the city's nightlife scene. He was pulled towards the industry by its glitzy and glamorous sub-cultures. He was hired as a bouncer in nightclubs due to his large physique and history as an amateur martial artist. Involvement in San Andreas organized crime While working in the Los Santos nightlife during his early twenties, Utkin got involved with numerous crimes. These crimes included the theft of firearms along with the production and distribution of narcotics. He sold drugs while working as a bouncer in nightclubs across Los Santos. He additionally transported stolen guns across the city. The firearms and narcotics were circulated among Eurasian criminal organizations that were operating around Los Santos. In the early 2010s, he started a close partnership with the Armenian Power gang, but never became a member of the gang himself. He was present at an Armenian Power house party at a Vinewood bungalow on October 30, 2013, during which three civilians were shot to death and two gang members wounded from a drive-by shooting. He left the scene before the police arrived and therefore escaped questioning. In the meantime, Utkin's father passed away after a lengthy battle with lung cancer in 2015. He was 56 years old. His younger brother Robert was a drug addicted teenager. Robert became homeless in Vinewood's streets after graduating from high school. Their mother threw him out of the home after his violent criminality became too much for her to handle. Resulting from Robert's mental instability caused by methamphetamine addiction, David drifted apart from him. They eventually ceased contact around 2016. Since then, they have only sporadically seen each other around Vinewood. Robert was last known to inhabit homeless shelters and missions in the area. Utkin departed Los Santos in 2016. This came after he felt pressured by intense Los Santos police investigations into the city's nightlife scene. He had been tipped off by a close friend, Aleskandr Opokin, and informed that he was the subject of a criminal investigation into gun running. Additionally, Utkin's close friend and fellow bouncer Peter Dombrowski had been shot to death outside of a Burton nightclub during a drug deal gone wrong. Simultaneously, his maternal uncle Vasily Fridzon invited him to San Fierro in order to help him co-manage a sports bar in Esplanade North. Utkin began working at the bar as an assistant manager immediately after he arrived in San Fierro. The bar was situated right on the pier and boardwalk of Esplanade, which attracted a high number of tourists and transient customers in general. Fridzon was using the bar to package and distribute large quantities of narcotics that included cocaine, amphetamines and Ecstasy. David, as his nephew, was used several times to assist these processes. In spite of the location being the subject of a San Fierro police investigation years prior, insufficient evidence was found at the time to bring about criminal charges. At some point late in the decade, Utkin formed a crew of bouncers in San Fierro. They worked inside of bars and nightclubs while involving themselves with narcotics crimes in order to earn extra money. In addition to protecting businesses in San Fierro, they were hired on at musical concerts and adult film conventions in Las Vegas, Nevada several times over a few years. Return to Los Santos Utkin returned to Los Santos, San Andreas in 2020 after he was re-assured that the criminal underworld had calmed down. Prior to returning to Los Santos, his crew of bouncers had been disbanded due to internal disputes along with better paying jobs around San Fierro. Credits @13 Ways

  9. Just as the title says really; park your car up more often and just try walking from place to place while interacting with others. I've personally been deciding to walk from business to business as of recent whenever possible, and provided the general area has at least one or two businesses open in it; it's a completely different experience walking down the street & interacting with others along the way as opposed to driving everywhere whilst ignoring everyone until your inside your destination. Vespucci at the moment is (to me personally) a prime example where people have started getting onboard with the idea that walking around and publically engaging as part of their local community & with the environment completely immerses you more than racing around at 120mph through the streets, especially when there's others with them who actively walk around and engage in outdoor activities in their communities like normal people in real life do. I've seen it starting to occur too further afield in Paleto Bay and Sandy Shores too, which makes those areas that typically feel devoid of activity feel considerably active when there's just a handful of people walking or chilling outdoors; bringing some much-needed life to those areas in the process. The server as a whole feels way more alive whenever I see people walking about or sat outdoors as opposed to seeing cars parked up on the sidewalk outside of businesses every five feet in a conga line. Nothing pains me more than looking at the server count saying that there's nearly 1000 players on, only to take a quick drive around and realise that about 1/3 or more are just driving about aimlessly or indoors. The streets should theoretically be bustling with life with that many players; not feel like an abandoned wasteland. It's just my personal preference at the end of the day, and I know full well that the last thing some people wanna do is walk in a game made for driving cars; but the amount of immersion and roleplay that's possible when you park your car, walk around and interact with others along the way is staggering compared to the roleplay that's on offer when driving from doorstep to doorstep like you work for Uber Eats.

  10. The Mo-Town Boys & Arthur "Artie Squish" Scordo Detroit has always been a mob settlement, ever since the days of Old Man Zerilli and his predecessors. The organization, also known as "Detroit Partnership" or Zerilli Crime Family has operated in a small, yet tight-knit fashion, having very few defections and/or turncoats. According to 2011 data, the Detroit Partnership consists of around 50 made mafia members and an unknown number of associates. One of those associates is a gangster by the nickname of Arthur "Artie Squish" Scordo. He's been known by this nickname because he's known to "squeeze money out of anything". Although being one of the more low-key figures within the Detroit mob, Squish has several arrests under his name including several charges of assault, counterfeiting. Despite not being an inducted member of the Detroit Partnership, Squish has built a reputation within the group. His biggest five minutes of fame came in 2017 when he was caught in a scheme which involved stealing clothes from the "Diabetes Canada" donation drop boxes, moving them to Detroit and selling them at dollar stores. Even though investigators discovered links to several other mob organizations involved in this scheme, namely the Genovese family and the Philly mob, who also involved themselves in Squish's scheme, the indictments were dropped after a procedural mistake was discovered in court. George "Boopsie" Marra, Genovese associate (left); Artie Squish (middle), Phil Narducci; Philly mob member (right); Following the long-fought court battle, Artie Squish has moved to San Andreas to set up something fresh. Considering his ties to the Detroit Partnership as well as figures in other borgatas, he's sure to be capable of a whole new operation. Soon after basing himself in the San Andreas metropolis, Scordo recruited two war veterans of Irish descent who now reside in Blaine - Aaron "Bull" Reagan and to help muscle his operations. It is likely more criminals will be called in to aid in this venture. This new organized crime group has interests not only in the city, but also in the Blaine County area, specifically Paleto Bay. The million dollar question, however, is if Artie Scordo is on his own or bankrolled by the Detroit mob or one of the New York families. Which ever case, he is definitely a person to watch. Within the criminal underbelly, this new creation is sometimes referred to as the "Scordo crew" by non-LS criminals or "Mo-Town Boys" by the LS criminals. ((This is an unofficial group, it will mainly focus on Arthur "Artie Squish" Scordo and his crew of modern mafiosi. All of the roleplay will be kept to the highest standard and realism. We aim to create an unique and raw portrayal of organized crime figures. A major point of this faction is to portray the more unique of schemes that organized crime involves itself in. Any inquiries, criticisms and suggestions can be forwarded to Copa Cabana's private messages.))

  11. Tense atmosphere in the courtroom; Anthony Ramirez pled guilty to First Degree Murder of a peace officer amongst other charges, sentenced to death; an unknown female attacked a prosecutor BY DENNIS SIDWELL Los Santos, SA - On the 21st of April, 2021, the final hearing for State of San Andreas v. Anthony Ramirez was held in Greg E. Joplin courthouse, on Ginger Street, in Little Seoul. The defendant, Anthony Ramirez, has been indicted on the charges of First Degree Murder, Possession of a Prohibited Firearm or Explosive Device and Discharging a firearm in public. The purpose of the hearing was for summary judgement. State of San Andreas v. Anthony Ramirez "We are here today in the matter of the State of San Andreas versus Anthony Ramirez. The defendant, Anthony Ramirez, has been indicted on the charges of First Degree Murder, Possession of a Prohibited Firearm or Explosive Device and Discharging a firearm in public. The purpose of this court today, is for summary judgement in the matter. I understand that the defendant, Anthony Ramirez, has prepared a statement. Is this correct Mr. Ortiz?", started Honorable Justice Michael McMurray. After Ramirez's attorney Omar Ortiz responded, Justice McMurray continued: "Very well, the court will allow Mr. Ramirez to provide a statement. Mr Ramirez, you may rise and proceed." "Your honor, I have not prepared a statement. I think it will be more heartfelt if I lay out what's on my mind. Your honor, I'm sure you understand the circumstances one goes through living in Rancho. Making it out of Rancho without a criminal record, it's really a miracle. I was a very troubled kid. I had no guidance. I racked up petty charges during my teenage years. I did what most had to do to survive. I never imagined I'd be here for a charge of this magnitude. This would be my first serious charge. I have never been charged with something violent prior. I always kept to myself. I tried my best to stay out of trouble. But that day, your honor. It was a very dark day. I was under heavy influence. The cameras can confirm. I nearly fainted twice during interrogation. I was drugged beyond belief. I wasn't thinking. I know that doesn't excuse what happened, but I really wasn't. I can't remember the better half of it. I did what I did. I'm not here to justify them. Nothing excuses murder. But I'm a reformed man. The US rehabilitation programs really did come through. I'm closer to my God. I went through tens, maybe hundreds of books. You can confirm that I've been on good behavior. I'm really a reformed man. I think, with the rehabilitation I've been through, I can be once again be a productive member of society. I hate myself for what I did. I think about it day and night. It's nothing I thought I'd be capable of doing. There's not much more to be said. Your honor. I plead guilty. I was caught on camera. I only ask the courts for mercy with my sentencing and a second chance at life. I'm still young and have a lot to look forward to", said Mr. Ramirez. After Mr. Ramirez's statement, Justice McMurray stated that he finds Mr. Ramirez guilty on all charges, then he announced a 15 minutes recess in order to debate sentencing time. "Welcome back from the recess everyone. We shall now commence with the sentencing of Anthony Ramirez in the matter of the State of San Andreas versus Anthony Ramirez. Before I read the official verdict, I'd like to lay some context for those of you in attendance today. The defendant, Anthony Ramirez, has plead guilty to first degree murder, possession of a prohibited firearm or explosive device, and discharging a firearm in public. Now to address Mr. Ramirez. I find it the highest of crimes for you to take a life of one of our peace officers of this great state. Due to the gravity of these crimes and your complete disregard at the time, the total lack of care for life and the highly violent nature of the murder, this court sentences you to Capital Punishment, death by lethal injection", said Justice McMurray, announcing Ramirez's punishment. Prosecutor Melanie Cromwell physically attacked in the courtroom by an unknown female At that point, some of the audience who came to support Anthony Ramirez in the courtroom created a tense atmosphere, loudly expressing their dislike of the decided punishment, while Ramirez grabbed his face in shock. An unknown female ran from the courtroom's gallery towards the prosecution's table and physically attacked District Attorney's Office Prosecutor Melanie Cromwell. The deputies who were present in the courtroom as security quickly reacted to the new situation and apprehended the female, while Judge McMurray gave an order for the female to be held in contempt of court. Afterwards, the deputies ordered the audience to leave the courtroom.

  12. Short description: Update the legal firearms script to allow firearms to be sold back to gun stores, and increase the monthly ammunition count. Detailed description: Put simply, with the new guns being introduced to the server as well as hunting being a thing, the legal firearms culture is really starting to kick off in-game. The current ammo and firearm monthly purchase limits are a bit rough for those wishing to try out these new guns, so I propose that a legally owned firearm could be sold on more easily than it can at present. Right now, the only way to do so is via private transfer via a PD application - and advertisements for the sale of firearms are not permitted. In reality, the used firearms trade in the US is a pretty big one, with multiple sites and companies catering to the sale and transfer of used guns. My suggestion for this is to add one or both of these features: Allow firearms to be sold back to a gun store at a decreased price. This could either be a 50% value to the script, or a player-controlled interaction allowing the store to keep a stock of used firearms on sale for a lower price than new ones. This is something that is quite common IRL, and as long as PD's DFL folks can manage the additional transfer paperwork, I'd see no problems with it. Hell, a separate system could be established to allow registered gun stores to bypass the transfer system, or use a UCP-based log for the transfer. Once the firearm is sold or transferred, I propose that the available weapons counter increases once more. Again, pertaining to the availability of a greater variety of firearms on the server - 2 per month is pretty rough when we have hunting rifles, many pistols, shotguns... I don't propose a stockpile be able to be amassed; though, looking at some statistics for US gun owners... 😄 Rather, just having the freedom to switch things up now and again without needing to wait a month. Increase the available ammunition per month. No, you probably shouldn't be going through 200 rounds per month on hunting and defence - even with the ridiculously strong and aggressive coyotes! But with SA having large, open areas of desert and the like, private property and licensed practice shooting could easily be a thing - just as it is IRL. Right now we're forced to go to a range with the airsoft script to RP any form of practice, which from an in-character standpoint, is something all gun owners should be doing. Having greater freedom to go plinking cans/bottles in the desert would be really nice, especially for those of us RPing out in the county areas! Commands to add: /sellfirearm, perhaps /sellfirearmplayer. Items to add: None. How would your suggestion improve the server? legal firearm ownership RP is getting a big boost with variety of weapons and shooting activities; this'd improve the availability, variety and freedom of this RP for all licensed gun owners. Additional information: None.

  16. Referring to random robberies; I don't see why so many players afraid of losing their scripted items. It's still roleplay, it still has to do something with your character's development, emotions. Depending on the character, you can take a robbery rp in plenty of directions and usually provides more and more opportunities for other situations to unfold due to robbery and your character's fears. Seeing hella young characters driving everyday around saying "oo yea, i took my uncle's / momma's car" is delusional and unrealistic in my opinion. I know it takes some time from your online activity but I don't get why do people have to rush and avoid negative roleplay situations. It's still rp come on.

  17. I think my biggest issue with people that drive places, is that why refuse to use the parking lots for whatever reason. Even is it's just around the corner. Nothing pains me more than seeing 10 parkes along the sidewalk. When they realistically should be parked on the parking lot just down the street and then you'd walk to the place. That's now I normally do it.
