  3. Since he was just 9 years old, Kekai has been involved with the local Tongan Crip gang. He knows all too well the motto, "Live by the gun, die by the gun," after being shot six times four weeks ago after leaving a party in a rival gang neighborhood. "He thought I was flashing gang signs, you know, with the signs that I have [tattoos on his face], that he started pointing a gun at me with a red beam," he said, recalling the shooting. "All hell broke loose. He started shooting us. I got shot six times, in the stomach, in the thigh, the sides." Kekai, known to his friends as Pacman, has been arrested more than 50 times. His most serious offenses occurred in 2011, for battery with a weapon, in 2012, for aggravated assault with a weapon and possession of a firearm, and in 2015, for receipt of a stolen possession. "If you ain't got no job, you ain't got nowhere to go," he said. "After that, well, you're going to turn to the streets. The streets is calling you." Kekai currently lives with his wife and their two sons, age six and 16 months. Kekai never graduated high school and hopes his sons don't follow in his footsteps. "I'm going to have to watch every move they make," he said. "I had nothing to do, I had no guidance," he said. "So I was raised to be knocked on the streets, running around, looking at the older guys, what they had that I didn't have, and I wanted that." He tells his kids not to join a gang but instead, "go to school, try to be a president or something. Make something out of himself." In five years, he sees himself away from the gang lifestyle. He wants to be taking care of his wife and kids, perhaps working on his own. "Have a nice home, a nice area to live in and, hopefully, my son is going to be the president," he said. Full article.

  4. Hi fellas! This is a very important post regarding Blitz Sqwd's future and concept. As you may know, we've had a rocky start for the group. We did too much FB shittposting and very little actual hacking. We wanna change that. I feel like the group has become more and more silly after every post I see about it. What I wanted to focus on was underground hacking and cooperating with criminal organizations. Not trolling and flexing. I want it to be hidden and underground, not out there being a straight Watch Dogs ripoff. I hope my members will agree to this and change up the whole "LOL HACKZOR XD" persona that we originally had. I mean no ill will about any of my members at all. They're great dudes, and they clearly joined because of the RP. While the RP has been really intense and fun so far, the whole idea of a hacker group just didnt work out well with me after I saw how it turned out. I didn't want a DeadSec type group, as I saw that very unfit for the server overall, but it became like that. I am of course a huge part to blame for this turnout, as I promised that we wouldn't troll around, but it didn't turn out that way at all. So while I don't want this locked, I do want this group to change into a realistic hacker group. A group that stays in the shadows and on the net, not going around FB posting "aesthetic" pictures to gain clout. I want Blitz to prosper, not fall. I do believe this change-up is better for RP and better for GTA World and Illegal RP overall. Cheers!

  5. Come on now @Tedlets not lie to backup our arguments. OOC dealing is extremely problematic for the illegal community and the vast majority of people (Including suppliers) have gotten away with it, you and I know this because you and I both participated in it. Vulcar didn't get banned because he discussed selling guns, Vulcar got banned for trying to setup an OOC alliance to kill a faction off the server that was reporting him and his friends. I know this because I'm the one who caught him and got him banned for it. I 100% agree with you that PD gets special treatment from members of staff, it's a problem and it has to stop. But lets not go ignoring the skeletons in our own closets, we can't put everything on PD sadly. If we want to see the illegal community get better, it's going to take a lot of the illegal community giving up their willingness to break rules just because "That's the way it is". Because sadly, that's the response you get when you talk to people behind closed doors about OOC deals. "That's the way it is bro, everyone does it" leaves most people with really no choice other then to go along with it. What other options do you have? Report it? That's what I did and I had randoms threatening me in my discord DM's (Shout out the dumb dumb hoodcall), people trying to kill me IG just to ruin my fun and people doxing my friends. The fact that GTAW illegal RPers consider reporting "Snitching" and then attempt to act hard about it over the internet makes me piss my pants laughing. But it also bums me out because as long as people hold this attitude and keep acting hard on the internet, nothing majors going to change in the servers illegal scene. It's just going to be the same level of mediocrity it's always been because people are too scared of ruining their online street cred to report any of the dumb shit that's blocking everything from moving forward.

  7. -- Reply to Netsrac -- In my grandest of sincere opinions; we should establish a middle ground between the words "fun" and "roleplay". Roleplay can be fun, but it isn't meant to wholly be fun, there's investments we make in real life into these characters, sure! - And when people get stuff taken from them, whether it's a CK or a prison sentence, there can be grounds for being upset a little irl, as it's your hobby. -- General point below, based off of above reply: -- If a middle ground can be established, that suits the majority, then all is well. As you cannot please every single person, the best to do is please the majority. And NGL, I was doing inmate RP but it seems like nobody is interested in it because it isn't fun. There's not a lot of dedication or investment into this category of roleplay. --- General point below from my perspective: --- And the only reason for this, is because there's large amounts of roleplay that's primarily found OUTSIDE of prison. People cannot wait to get back to that, whether it's illegal or legal RP. And when people get jailed, they may feel that they are being restricted on their fun by force, so they wait it out with an alt and RP in the state like that. The fact that it is a choice is good (always offer a choice when available, it's integral to RP itself), but if you want people to RP in jail, you need to make it more appealing OOCly, not ICly. Present grounds for good roleplay, remap the interiors so the space is actually being used. Cos if you have a prison room with like 8 rooms with 2 beds, it's easier to fill it up and it gives you the appeal that it's full, and then things like RPing investments into a second correctional facility, things like that, can come into fruition. People are more inclined to roleplay because there's, what seems like, a lot of people in a closed environment they can interact with. There's no point in having a huge castle of a prison until we have the players to demand that supply. Supply and demand. In this case, there's a lot of supply, and very little demand. Match the PB, is what I say.

  9. I'd like to disagree. You're more than welcomed to come to me about this and we can prove this accusation but I don't recall LSPD putting 15 bugs in a single house cause that'd be insane. My PMs are open to discuss this issue as I don't see a need to spread false rumors with no evidence to back it up. On topic: Increasing the jail time won't do much we've already put in a criminal point system that once you reach 30 points you will become a lifer. It doesn't stop people from going on their alternative characters and so on just to continue their illegal roleplay adventure.

  13. or we could add more e-sex anims illegal rp does need a lot more updates, all updates seem to be legal rp or e-sex related. i know their was the little drugs update that added the option of to mix baking soda with almost everything (doesnt make much sense) and then narco checkers (once again, doesn't make much sense). illegal RP needs a proper, much bigger update that is more realistic/ more research put into it

  14. This is a result of how fucked up the drug market is. Obviously the people that have done this may not be the best rp'ers, but it goes to show how desparate people are getting to moving their product. Selling drugs, and especially for young gang members isn't profitable, and some may find it difficult. It makes sense that some people are approaching you like this when nobody actually buys drugs. There's like three people on the server who rp junkies, and systematically buy drugs, and whenever I see them it looks like the second coming of jesus, who is there to get rid of my drugs.

  15. Spot on, I roleplayed a car thief and despite being forced to lockpick the car script wise, I always roleplayed the more modern, realistic methods such as relay theft... and then I got told off for it, lol
