  1. Every good thing comes to an end, and so does Jacob's story at this point. It was an absolute blast playing this almost year old character, and I take a lot of good memories with me after his passing. Mad respect to everyone in the faction, they are amazing roleplayers and people OOC, and it was an absolute pleasure to bring this character as far as it went. Maybe I'll come back, maybe not, only time will tell but for now, keep this going as well as it's going, because I can only say good words about it. Thank you to everyone who contributed to Jacob's story, in a good or a bad way, it's been amazing. Cash is King.

  2. Although I was getting informed this faction was being closed on request, new evidence has surfaced in the last day or two regarding the faction and leadership within it. This faction will receive 3 strikes immediately following a result of OOC influencing, OOC dealings in general as well as toxic behavior from the leadership. This means the faction will be effectively closed and unable to be opened again in the state it currently is in. Server bans will be handed out to the members and leadership that was involved in this and has admitted to said doings in private conversations. This is not something that IFM will ever tolerate on this server and it is sad to see it come to light over a faction that had potential as well as could've provided a good setting for the server.

  4. "ÀRD-THIREAN FEARG" The Highlanders Motorcycle Club is a 1%’er MC originating from Vancouver, Canada, and was formed in 1991 by the late Devon “Big Lad Harry” Harlow, a second-generation immigrant from Scotland whose father and heritage became the main inspiration for the club’s future aesthetics. During his leadership period, the Club had become relatively loose allies with the Rock Machine Motorcycle Club, and as such, their colors would to some extent reflect that. They managed, however, to stand their ground as an independent club, a stance that was soon challenged by the brewing conflict that would inevitably lead into the Quebec Biker War. During this period, the Highlanders would do what they could to assist the Alliance in a minor capacity with efforts and services regarding lodgings, financial support, and open communication lines. However, a consequence of this would be the tension that would grow between the HMC and the Hell’s Angels. This animosity naturally started to dissipate between 1999 and today, after the Rock Machine Alliance was left damaged after many arrests and the truce was formed. In 2009, Big Lad Harry was shot and killed by law enforcement. He was later succeeded by his son Lance “Bags” Harlow, whose ambitions looked beyond the Canadian borders. Throughout Bags’ leadership, the club has established itself throughout a few charters, mainly across the western coast of North America, except for Halifax, a place culturally similar to Vancouver and the UK, branching out from Southampton as far as into Scotland itself. Primarily, the club has only ever expanded into the United States, but there are exceptions. As the club seniority had roots in the UK, many members, American, Canadian, or otherwise, had friends and family overseas in Southampton, Glasgow, and Belfast. In 2012, Eugene Hutchinson took over as the Tucson, AZ, Chapter President. During this time, the cabinet itself was almost entirely restructured, Kallen Lyons now the Vice President and Maloney Sharp being the Sergeant at Arms. This year would also mark the first appearance of the “Highlanders Ass-Kickers Crew,” a distinction now granted to branches of members serving or had served time in prison for crimes committed on behalf of the club. Hutch and Sharp’s approach to running the chapter was much more iron-fisted than it used to be, and the Club’s violence, bloodshed, and rampant drug abuse continued to grow out of control, an altercation eventually erupted internally, splitting the chapter almost entirely in two. At the conflict’s climax, a decision was made by several ambitious members to transfer to the Oceanbound charter, the Highlanders equivalent of Nomad, to ride out with a pack and look for new grounds to establish themselves on. These members eventually found themselves further out west to potentially settle another oceanside charter. OCEANBOUND While the “Oceanbound” charters of the Highlanders were still reasonably shared across the US, especially along the western coastline, the most critical migration in the Club’s history would be the infamous split from the Tucson chapter. Before this, Big Lad Harry had already had ideas of expansion into the US. Portland was one of the first charters established in the US due to a meeting between him and a group of American nationals that had previously passed through Vancouver for a bike show and a swap meet. Through this connection, he managed to plan out the Portland charter with some of his cabinet members, a few patches, and the American nationals. At this time, the Oceanbound charter started to grow, and while the Portland charter served as the staging ground for the continuous American expansion, Big Lad Harry wanted to establish another on Canadian soil. However, during the Halifax charter establishment in 2009, he died, and it, therefore, fell on “Bags” Harlow, his son, to continue his work. The first significant action Bags took to create a route from Halifax to the United Kingdom. They had friends and supporters overseas, primarily consistent with connections they had established in the past, who set up their Southampton charter. Before the UK migration continued, however, Bags decided to put the American chapter to work by expanding into Tucson in 2012. As soon as the Tuscon, AZ, charter was established, he considered America to be more or less settled to their own devices as the UK chapter started to grow, eventually leading to a charter in both Glasgow and Belfast. During the course of the American chapter’s establishment, a tedious, inter-club conflict in the Tucson charter would culminate into several of their members splitting off west as Oceanbound members. This charter would be founded on a different set of core values from Sharp’s and Hutch’s vision, instead of focusing on its core values during its conception rather than the at-any-cost money and power grabbing that was fuelled by the pair’s consistent substance abuse. THE CLUB The history of the Club is draped in violence and bloodshed, seeing a spike in criminal activity between 2012 and 2020. As to stand out from this history, and to earn their way back into the good graces of the community and the scene, these members have made conscious efforts to hold themselves to a higher standard, in an attempt to tackle their issues and conflicts in a manner smarter than what has been done in the past. Pride, however, is a major characteristic for the club, and it’s most often Pride that causes issues for them. Throughout the decades, traditions and aspects of their lifestyle are still fairly mysterious to the public. Some aspects of their Club, and the way they organize and orient themselves, have ceremonial characteristics similar to pagan and celtic culture, undoubtedly traditions that have lived on since the Club’s conception in the early nineties. The qualities they seek in future members, however, have remained widely the same. Above all else, the club values integrity, strength, and commitment, promising freedom and liberty to those who make it into their tightly knit Brotherhood. Additionally, by how the club has been established through these traditions and aspects, it naturally draws people of commonwealth ties and foreign roots, even if the procedure of becoming part of the club itself is strict due to the rules set around nationalities. Their split from AZ was a catalyst for change. The ambitions of the members splitting off fed into the growing need to reinvent themselves into something different and something truer to their way of life than what Hutch and Sharp had twisted it into. Maintaining that vision is perhaps the greatest challenge the Club will ever face, and only time will tell if their efforts will pay off, or all be for nothing. THE EAST SAINTS While the migration itself was hectic, the Oceanbound charter continued their ride further west and towards the coast, finally finding themselves in a sprawling cesspit of sex, drugs, and crime; San Andreas, for all of its beauty, bears resemblance to that of chaos. Considering the ambitions of the currently nomadic members, it proved itself to be a feeding ground for personal development and integrity. Ultimately, all choices settle them into the east side of Los Santos, now commonly known to them as the East Saints, their territory. Through the establishment of the East Saints charter, they have a chance to follow their vision, in an effort to keep their charter, and their Club, alive. OOC INFORMATION 1. Our faction wants to greatly emphasize on providing a believable, fun experience, aiming to provide quality roleplay for all members and all other parties who roleplay with us, including criminal and non-criminal factions. 2. While still a one-percenter faction, we seek to portray a club that focuses more on the communal aspects of the culture, bringing the party to the people in a fun, inclusive manner. In this, we seek to treat the illegal aspects of our Club as more of a side-business, though still recognizing its importance as a narrative factor to our Club and to the development of our Club, in-character and out-of-character. 3. We love the idea of having a relationship with other factions, especially other MC factions, whether these are hostile or friendly, anything that contributes to having a great time. That being said, we are not here to conquer, maim, and destroy other factions at the minor whim. We’re not here to Deathmatch. What happens in-character, happens in-character, but we strive to create and assist with a narrative that’s fun and enjoyable for as many as possible. 4. A great deal of information in the lore is fictitious. This is done to allow for a more malleable narrative that is easier to write and easier to implement regarding the faction. While maintaining a good portrayal of our faction as a motorcycle Club is important to us, we don’t want to sacrifice fun and the liberty of shaping it as we go along for the sake of absolute realism. The portrayal is essential, but not to the point of elitism, as we find this to be, in most cases, incredibly toxic. As always, for additional inquiries or questions, you may have about the faction, feel free to message either Quinn Maddox @Framebox or Ewan Carpenter @Karner

  7. Eurasian organized crime groups are politically and financially driven groups, influenced, associated and originated from the former Soviet Union or Central Europe. These criminal organizations flourish outside their borders in countless countries, including the United States of America. They inflict hundreds of millions in damage to the USA's economy. In the late 90's, Tatarenkov's OCG was dismantled by Russian law enforcement. Members of Tatarenkov's organized crime group were convicted of murder, but some members managed to escape and left Russia for good. A small group ended up in Los Santos, USA. They were highly skilled, knew the black market, and were hardened by their years of working under Tatarenkov's OCG. They quickly returned to their crime routes and formed a small organized crime group that operated in any market or business that offered profit. The Abramov Organization The Abramov Organization gets its name from Vyacheslav Abramov, their presumed leader. Lacking in strict structure and hierarchy, the organization is often wrongly compared to and associated with the more traditional Russian-American criminal organizations. However, Abramov's group is closely tied with other Eurasian groups sharing similar interests and mindsets. Most of the groups activities consist of white collar crimes and narcotics distribution, but traditional crimes such as car theft and mugging isn't unheard of. With various business undertakings, both legal and illegal, in and around West Vinewood, where the group is believed to have the most of their ties. The controlling core of the organization is believed to consist of highly educated and business inclined people. It's members rarely resort to violence as most of the operations are done discreetly and professionally. However on the few documented cases of them carrying out such action, it's been described as "swift and ruthless." PAST-LIFE Vladimir Tatarenkovs Organized Crime Group (Sayanogorsk OCG) operated in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the mid-nineties of the last century. Its leader was Russian criminal authority Vladimir "Tatarin" Tatarenko. The group is considered to be one of the most ruthless OCG in Russia in the 1990s. Tatarin was the left-hand man to Krasnoyarsk criminal communities leader, Anatoly Bykov. His main henchmen in shady affairs were two crime bosses: Pasha Tsvetomuzyka and Vladimir Tatarenkov (Tatarin) In the late 1980s, Tatarin arrived in Sayanogorsk (Khakassia) - a city 336 kilometers from Krasnoyarsk. At that time organized crime groups were active in the city, a prominent place among them occupied the group of Rasim Gasimov, often simply called Rasim. Tatarin joined Rasim, who was mainly engaged in racketeering and quickly became his closest associate. In 1991, after Rasim's death in a bandit showdown, Tatarenkov became the leader of the Sayanogorsk organized criminal group. Soon he comes together with Anatoly Bykov - they are connected by their interest in the aluminum business. Their attention is focused on the Sayan aluminum plant, which by this time is already controlled by the gang of the former boxing trainer Viktor Shorin. A criminal war over the plant began, in which Shorin and his "curator", a Krasnoyarsk authority named Lyapnikov, were killed. But the conflicts over aluminum did not end there. The bloodiest for Sayanogorsk and Krasnoyarsk was the summer of 1994. Criminal showdowns and contract killings took place virtually every day, and the criminals acted in broad daylight. According to some reports, Tatarin's henchmen used to wait for the victim on a bench at the entrance, resting their machine guns on their knees, and after the murder, they would walk slowly to celebrate their success in a bar. Tatarin himself, although he was wanted, drove quietly through the streets of Krasnoyarsk. But one day changed everything - on July 24, 1994, in the yard of the house No. 193 on the avenue named after the newspaper "Krasnoyarsk Rabochy". Respected businessmen Alexander Naumov and Kirill Voitenko at that time became victims of the murderers A daring crime was committed near the Department of Non-State Security. The murderers opened fire from a machine gun and a pistol at the car in which Naumov and Voitenko were. According to one of the witnesses, the entire car of the businessmen "was riddled with holes so that you could see through the floor." However, the friends managed to jump out and hastily flee. They were caught up and shot from a machine gun a few hundred yards from the car. However, during the investigation and trial, Tatarin told a different version of what happened. Allegedly, Naumov and Voitenko ran away from the killers with weapons in hand - and a guard from the same private security department opened fire on them, not understanding the situation and deciding that they were going to attack his department. The trail of the suspect However, the shooting of Naumov and Voitenko had a very difficult background. According to the ICR, 23-year-old Naumov was one of the "sergeants" in Bykov's organized crime group. And at some point, the young bandit got into an open conflict with his boss: Naumov was outraged that the proceeds from their shadowy activities were distributed unfairly. Soon after, a bomb exploded in front of Bykov's car: he was unharmed but found that Naumov and his close friend Kirill Voitenko were behind the attack. This was a death sentence for the friends. Bykov passed the organization of the crime to Tatarin, who gave orders to his henchmen - Sergei Bakurov and Vladimir Chuchkov - to kill Naumov and Voitenko. After the crime, the killers managed to escape - Chuchkov is still on the wanted list, and Bakurov received a life sentence. Other members of Tatarenkov's organized crime group were also convicted, of at least eight murders. However, some managed to leave Russia. Tatarenkov also managed to leave Russia. And although the formal reason was a prosecution for the murders, there were rumors that very influential forces rebelled against the authority, unhappy with how brazenly the Tatarenkov, with Bykov's support, "squeezed" the Sayan aluminum plant. Be that as it may, the bandit settled in Greece, where he was arrested in 1999. He was caught by the Greek police for illegal possession and use of weapons and organizing a criminal organization - and received 14 years. In July 2010, the relevant authorities decided to release Vladimir Tatarenkov early and extradite him to Russia to face charges. He was found guilty of organizing the murders of two Krasnoyarsk hitmen in 1994. A court in Krasnoyarsk sent him to prison for 13.5 years. There is an old Russian proverb: "If you eat alone, you choke" OOC The faction’s goal is to portray a realistic Eurasian organized crime group. Recruitment to the faction will only be IC and will target any generation Eastern European’s . We expect faction members to display the highest standards of RP. When you become a member of this faction, you grant us the right to character kill (CK) your character if it is deemed necessary by the faction's leadership. Leadership permission is needed to post screenshots on this thread if you have any question or need help with approaching or interacting with a faction, please contact @Basko, @Conwell, @Goddemunchies .

  11. The Sons of Samoa Gangster Crips are a predominantly, though not exclusively Polynesian street gang located on the eastside of Vespucci beach. The gang was formed in the mid 1970’s, following an influx of Samoan immigrants, fleeing to America in search of a better life. The gang initially formed in Vespucci beach, following racial tensions between rival black and hispanic gangs. The Samoan children found themselves in a much tougher environment than they were used to, from the palm trees and beautiful beaches of Samoa and Tonga, to the gritty hoods of Vespucci beach, drug addicts, gang members, and thugs ran the streets. The Samoan kids were forced to adapt to the streets. At first, the Sons of Samoa were a form of protection for Polynesian kids from rival gangs. The Sons of Samoa found a particular hatred against the Varrio Longos gang, primarily the Eastside Longos. The Longos have a reputation in Vespucci for being the most hated gang, due to many reasons, and are the single biggest reason for most Asian/Polynesian gangs formation, like the Tiny Rascals Gang, and the Asian Boyz gang. But as time went on, and drugs like crack and heroin hit the streets, many poor Samoan kids found it as a way to make some quick cash, and took to dealing drugs. The best selling products on the streets were cocaine, in 2013 and estimated 34 billion dollars of cocaine were trafficked across America, and the Sons of Samoa were no exception, using the drug trade to supply the gang with a large quantity of military grade weapons, like automatic rifles. The Sons of Samoa have been known as a menace on the street, though they weren’t alone. In the early 1990’s, following the formation of the Asian Boyz gang, the Sons of Samoa found themselves similar to the newly found Asian gang. Both were a minority of Vespucci beach, both found themselves fighting the Eastside Longos, and the Tiny Rascals, and both gangs fell under the Crip card. The two gangs, as well as a handful of other Asian gangs, all together formed the SEA alliance. The gangs coexisted peacefully, helped each other out, hung out together, and oftentimes shared enemies. The ABZ gang backed up the Sons of Samoa in the war with the Eastside Longos, and the Sons of Samoa backed up their Asian allies as well. This alliance continues to the modern day, and it’s not uncommon to see Samoans and Asians hanging out together at barbeques and block parties. In the modern day, Gentrification and the ever increasing property value of Vespucci beach has driven many Samoans away from Vespucci, allowing the gang to spread. The gang has found itself in several states across America, in states including Missouri, Utah, Washington, and even Alaska, and the number grows daily. The Sons of Samoa go under the Gangster Crip card, beef lightly with neighborhood crip gangs, and remain neutral with most other gangster crip gangs. OOC Section Our first goal with this faction is to hopefully roleplay a low income Samoan community, we welcome anyone who wishes to roleplay a local in our neighborhood. Our second, equally as important goal with this faction is to portray a realistic, modern day Samoan street gang. If you’re interesting in joining, PM me on discord at Stiggz#6295, or PM me on forums.

  14. PATCHES AND BADGES The vests that members wear are often adorned in a multitude of patches and badges, some worn to display the member's position within the club, others are worn as a sign of pride for their achievements and duties performed within the club, and some are simply there to recognize and pay respect to the club's history. These badges vary greatly in their meaning. Some are reserved for cabinet members and officers, while others are bestowed upon for a certain achievement, or as a symbol of extended responsibilities within the club. Some of these are very common and similar to badges found in other clubs, while some are unique to the Highlanders. HELLISH 8: A badge reserved for the founding cabinet members of the charter. Not to be misconstrued as the founding members of the club, or the founding members of the charter. This has long been suspected to have multiple meanings, however... GUARDIAN: Bestowed on members who have expressed efforts through the protection of club territory, and the defense of club assets. OCEANBOUND & HIGHLANDERS: Worn by members on the front of their vest so that even when facing a member head on, you know exactly what they're part of. HFFH: Highlanders forever, forever Highlanders. This is common on most members' vests. Additionally, a lot of Highlander colors and gear flash the number 8, intentionally referencing the number "H". "WE SELDOM FORGIVE, WE NEVER FORGET", or WSFWNF, has always been a staple motto for the Highlanders, and it often refers to the act of paying respects to past history, and are therefore followed by either the names of deceased members, or other badges to mark a specific event in their history. 1991 EST: The year the club was founded. Badge worn to respect club history, especially as a cabinet member and an officer. BIG LAD "2009" HARRY: The year the founder of the club, Devon Harlow, passed away. Only really worn by members who attended his funeral or members who have known him from their time spent in the club. EAST "2021" SAINTS: The year the East Saints was established. Worn by members who officially patched into the East Saints charter the first day of the charter's true beginning. HAKC (covered by stitched "bars"): Worn by members who are part of the "Highlanders Ass Kicker Crew".

  15. As a legal faction leader, I want to say I've not yet had a bad interaction with any illegal faction leaders. We've not agreed on every detail but they've been respectful and when there have been issues (either students acting up in gangland or gang folk driving over to Richman to provoke violence because they're bored), we've worked through things amicably and by doing this, have avoided having to take up server admins time with unnecessary reports that we've resolved ourselves and in-house. Why am I saying the above? Because this divide that some perceive exists doesn't have too be that way and you can work together to resolve issues and problems. If people spent as much effort trying to make the server better collaboratively, rather than trying to score 'points' against one another, I think you'd find solutions to what you perceive as toxicity etc.

It's a refreshing breath of fresh air to be in such a place with quality rpers and detailed roleplay especially after illegal RP! You've created something special, massive respect. I had an absolute blast and I can't wait to do some more later.

  19. My number one main problem with this stuff is legal roleplayers tend to always role-play super super rich upper class person who do nothing but go to bars. Nobody wants to role-play a low income black civilian or Mexican civilian because they would rather have their sports cars. If legal players weren’t always so standoffish and took time to experience the illegal side of things I would think it would be a lot better between the two groups
