  1. I'm not sure if anyone will recognize me in this community but I was part of LS-RP's SASD (LEO Faction) for 2.5 years and RC-RP's SASP (Also LEO Faction) for 2 years and counting. I'm DEAF since age 4. There's no solution to my disability besides hearing aid but they don't help much and give me headache trying to listen to sounds in-game than enjoy with them. Background history And here where I am, trying to be active in GTAW. I attempted to join both LEO Factions, LSSD and LSPD. It is important to note that the LSSD has the following thread; I PMed one of the ES members for an inquiry. I was met with the following response; Needless to say I was surprised. I have a disability something which I can not control, I can speak (I'm deaf, not mute), I got a working microphone (I can update, talk to TS3 and ton of more), I just cannot hear. I already offered my solutions to them (aka 24/7 partnered, etc) but they seemingly ignored them. I talked with a friend of mine about LSPD and they told me the Chief of Police has the authority to grant no-mic permission with restrictions such as can't go past Police Officer II. Well, I went ahead and asked him about the whole thing, I was denied with similar reasons, not much different from LSSD. That's it. In LSRP, LSPD wouldn't allow no-mic users but SASD would. In GTAW, you are screwed either way as both factions won't allow no-mic permission - even though they state they do. I am not trying to act entitled nor behave like a typical Karen, I'm just expressing my disappointment why handicapped players still cannot join LEO Factions without pushing it further and further - as in, without getting FM and Managers/Owners involved. I went through this from LSRP to RCRP and now this? There's no stop to this mentality. You might ask how can I RP as LEO if I'm deaf? Well; I was 24/7 partnered. If there were no available members nor members willing to take me on patrol, I had to wait and stay at station. It wasn't much of a problem considering I always could find a partner. But, even if it was hard to find one, the faction and server was too fun to resign. Pursuits, shootouts, etc were a hourly thing. If my partner was driving, they would drive to the situation and the rest; use text-chat. TS3 was not to be used unless you was in situation where typing is not a feasible idea (pursuits, active shots fired, etc). You might ask, if I'm driving, then how do I know where to go? Pretty much this: My partner would relay locations. That's it. Anything else, use common sense what to do. I was eventually granted to go on solo patrol. What did I do? Pretty much whatever every other member do except I wouldn't be able to join pursuits nor shots fired situations without knowing the exact locations unless they were taking place front of me. Anyway, I tried to approach two Legal Faction Management members but they couldn't do much. I also contacted a Server Manager (who is head of LEGAL factions) but I was ignored. So here I am! Asking the community what are their thoughts. EDIT: Edited a wording

  2. I've always been of the opinion that people should not be restricted to joining factions on a text-based roleplay server. If illegal factions must survive without VOIP communication, then there are ways to incorporate people with disabilities into factions with certain limitations. Last year I was in the LSPD as a no-mic due to an illness that medically made speaking difficult - causing pain if I talked for extended periods of time and extreme lethargy that could lead to my vocal chords being extremely damaged due to muscle deterioration - I spent a year of my life limiting how much I talked whilst being bed-ridden with only GTA:W to keep me entertained. I wouldn't have been able to call out a TAC comfortably and whilst I wished to join the PD to be with my friends, I didn't want to sacrifice my health for a video game so accepted the no-mic terms and was determined to prove it was possible. During my time in LSPD, I think many people would confirm that I did everything I possibly could for the faction. I won the LSPD faction video contest, hosted multiple events in MRCAD (including two Christmas parties and a mental health caffeine club), was active on-duty and won multiple medals/awards in a very short span period, including officer of the month - something I don't think a no-mic had ever achieved before and I was proud to be proving that it WAS a possibility for people with disabilities to roleplay an officer. I made it to P2 and was accepted into Traffic Division by @honey. - the ONLY division leader to actually make accomodations for me in arguably the division that required microphone the most and I'll never be able to thank her enough for doing that. I was a dog handler in the prison service for a few years and had zero chance at actually using my real life credentials in-game as a K9 officer and whilst I was bummed out about it, I accepted that those were the rules. When I joined, by the manual, no-mics could reach Sergeant 2, I believe. A few days after I had done everything required of a P2, submitted my application for FTO and won the faction video contest (which I spent all of my Christmas working on), they updated the manual to change the restriction to P2 - zero courtesy to inform me that this decision was made, zero discussion with me before they made this decision and as the only no-mic in PD at the time who was really, REALLY trying their best to do whatever I could for this faction - I was hurt. I attempted to have discussions but was met with, "We can't make you P3 because you'd need a mic to be an FTO and if you weren't an FTO then you wouldn't be 'pulling your weight' in the faction and that wouldn't be fair on the other officers". - Despite the fact that I arguably was doing more than your standard P3 officer would be doing. I resigned and swore I would never go back. Now I'm on the mend IRL, I can talk, I can move again, I've returned to work and would be able to go into PD with full-mic perms as was the plan - I swore I would never, ever go back to the LSPD for the way I felt I was treated. I have friends there that still ask me to come back but the sadness and rejection really did kill my love for LEO RP, no matter how much I'd enjoy RPing with them again. I feel for you, buddy. I really do. I've been there and LOVED the roleplay. I made so many friends that I consider actual friends that I talk to daily who still ask me to reinstate under different circumstances - but I can't do it because I gave it my all and was burned badly. There are 100% ways to incorporate no-mics into LEO factions. I always patrolled with people and they were happy to have me with them. I made real friends that way and connections that you expect to make on a community. If you can't become an FTO, you can help MRCAD with events and press releases. Just because you're limited IRL does not mean your character is limited ICly and if this is a heavy-based text-RP server then this needs to be fixed so people like this guy can RP who they wish to RP.

  3. I tried to search through my forum PM's and I don't have any from you (could be wrong though), would love to have been able to sort this problem out for you. If you sent me a message and you're not a friend of mine on discord I wouldn't have recievied it, I limit my PM's to forums only so that I can reply to everyone. I've been reading through this thread and this is an issue that's actually close to me for personal/family reasons, do feel free to DM me and I'll see if I can help you directly, regardless I'll go to the faction leaders and see what can be changed.

  4. Short description: Add an item/command that could apply on your unregistered vehicle plate and a random legit looking plate would pop up on the plate instead of a blank plate one. Detailed description: As you know when you now buy a unregistered vehicle it has a blank plate, that means people around you can see that you definitely drive a unregistered vehicle around. That means "enemies" of your character, random people or even PD/SD officers can easily see that you drive a blank plated vehicle and lets be real our brains instantly kick in when we see a vehicle like this. I'm not saying ALL people metagame that type of thing, but there is a BUNCH of people who do, they steal the vehicle when you are not around or something like that just to scrap it and they know that you will not get it back for a while or PD/SD people see that you are driving a blank plated vehicle and they instantly turn around and start to chase you. Commands to add: /addplate (vehicleID) (itemID); or whatever command would work. Items to add: A plate item maybe that you can purchase around mechanic garages, maybe even add it towards suppliers that work around metal and could craft that type of illegal plates for unregistered vehicles. How would your suggestion improve the server? It would help illegal players quite a bit to dodge the unneeded attention from legal/illegal faction members around and bring more realism towards the server side because we know that people don't really drive around in blank plates to attach more attention to themselves while doing illegal business/activities. Additional information: This could be even used to put on registered vehicles too if you did a crime or you need to hide your legal plate for a bit to dodge attention you could apply it towards your registered vehicle for some period of time till you don't have "heat" anymore and then throw it out or place it into your property/vehicle for later use.

  5. Short description: The way in which player reports are handled on the forum should be updated in order to better meet the needs of the server and reduce the workload of handling admins. Detailed description: While some reports are quickly picked up by admins and addressed in timely fashion, others are not - and in those cases, players may be left waiting for several weeks for a resolution to their issues. I don't believe that our admins are slacking. I believe there is a problem with the system that is currently in place, which seems to have worked at one point but may need to be reworked to better meet the needs of the server at this point in time. From what I can tell, it's often those reports with a lot of information to read through that, unsurprisingly, take longer for admins to address. With that said... Suggestion: Step 1. Make it so that player reports are submitted privately and only visible to the player submitting the report and admins (much like the forums for ban appeals or faction-related issues). This would prevent threads from becoming oversaturated with information (much of it irrelevant) before an admin can even take a look. Step 2. Reports should be handled in the order in which they are received, but assigned to the appropriate admins based on the admin's experience/familiarity with the subject of the report (i.e., an admin familiar with illegal RP picking up a report related to illegal RP). Perhaps Support Staff can be assigned to take a look at the initial report, and that Support member can determine which admin is best suited to handle the report before passing it over to that admin. Step 3. Once the handling admin receives the initial report, they can respond with the necessary questions/comments and open it up for the public to see, at which point the reported party can be informed about the report. This would give the admin control over the conversation in the thread from the very beginning and still allow for each party involved in the report to make their case on the public forum for all to see. Commands to add: N/A Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? I believe the above suggestion would: 1. Allow reports to be addressed more quickly and effectively, which means fewer interruptions in RP and also prevents players from becoming frustrated (which can lead to other issues that impact the server, like an overall lack of interest in continuing to RP). 2. Allow for greater accountability as specific admins would be assigned to each report. 3. Boost the confidence of players in the reporting process so there is no room for suspicion that a. admins are playing favorites in their decisions, or b. the handling of a report is intentionally being put off. Both are reasons players often give for refusing to report others for rule-breaking/poor RP, which impacts the overall quality of RP on the server as issues with the offending players go unreported and, therefore, unaddressed. 4. Boost the confidence of players in the outcome of the report as admins will be assigned to each report based on their experience/familiarity with whatever is being reported. 5. Reduce the workload of admins so that a. they will no longer have to read through the forum when picking up reports, and b. they will no longer have to read through pages of unnecessary information. 6. Reduce the back-and-forth arguing between players (which can lead to lingering OOC issues) as the admin will have control of the conversation from the beginning. Additional information:

  6. I've warned a few people who are being deliberately provocative/ downright rude. I've posted a couple of replies earlier on sharing my views and have committed to helping getting this resolved so that having a hearing impairment or being deaf isn't a barrier to being a LEO roleplayer and have directly communicated this to the OP of this post. That's where things stand currently. EDIT: In case this wasn't clear I'll be directly reaching out to the faction leaderships of these factions to get this resolved. I've locked this post as it just devolved into a bunch of trolls baiting people and I believe OP has got what they wanted in terms of being able to raise awareness and have action taken. I will post again on this thread when I have an update.

  7. I believe that everyone should have the same opportunity but when I was faction handler of PD neither faction leaders wanted to cater the request. I never understood why. I had an entire topic about it in the FM boards that I was planning on working on so this can happen. I’ve seen many servers do this and let all people in. I wish I could’ve done more for you.

  8. a text based server and its factions should never turn away humans with disabilities because they cannot use voice communication to its fullest extent. pursuit efficiency does not make for quality police roleplay

  9. Short description: Implement a feature that allows the remote viewing of a CCTV camera angle, in real time. The basic concept would have the player file a property request for a CCTV to be used on the outside of their property. From a designated location inside the property, the owner could then engage this camera angle and view in real time what happens outside. Detailed description: The concept is really simple, but the implications and details are more complex. Essentially, the idea is for the player to be able to take a view of remote camera locked angle, that's it. It would be obvious to restrict these to properties, likely one per property. The considerations below are my viewpoints and opinions. Some are pretty clear cut, others are obviously contentious and welcomed to discuss. Implementation (OOC) Recording is not feasible. Constant recording what happens is what security cameras are primarily for. This would be great to have, but the impact is extreme, both on roleplay and on the technical feasibility. This should not be considered part of this concept. ✅ Realistic and very useful when it comes to surveillance. ❌ Not technically feasible, practical, or affordable. One camera per property These could be limited to one camera per property. ✅ No limit on these would essentially invite players to maximize their advantages over others and unrealistically cover every single angle imaginable to minimize risk to their character. ❌ This is not necessarily realistic. Larger properties can realistically have multiple, or even many security cameras. Nametagging, not preferable Name tags should be turned off and permanently disabled when viewing the CCTV feed. I think this is an important part of keeping this feature balanced for everyone involved. Viewers and those being viewed alike. ✅ This minimizes metagaming on the part of those viewing the angle of the CCTV camera. ❌ Limited customization makes it harder to recognize characters that your character would realistically spot easily. Those with sub-optimal hardware could suffer from their ability to recognize characters my appearance alone even more, being disadvantaged by lower graphics settings. Capturing chat is preferable, perhaps optional Capturing chat is important since player's actions can not always (almost never) be translated correctly into animations. Many security cameras these days also record sound, so it is reasonable for a CCTV to pick up what is being said and heard. ✅ Capturing chat allows characters' actions that cannot be animated to be properly conveyed to the viewer. ❌ Capturing chat reintroduces the problem of name tagging. Another problem, how to deal with the chat happening at the location of the viewer? Double chat? Or all chat from the CCTVs location could be tagged with [Camera] and colored differently, alongside the normal chat, sort of like how a phone or radio works. Viewing the camera, static location or also by smartphone? Another essential part of concept implementation is how the character can go about viewing the camera. Should this be done from a set location, like a Smart TP? My preference goes out to a tiered system where a cheap version only captures /me's and /do's (and its relevant alternatives) and is only visible from a predetermined static location inside the property, much like how a Smart TP has an entrance and an exit. An expensive version, perhaps with monthly (IC) payments as well, could be viewable from anywhere assuming the character has any (or maybe only expensive) unlocked smartphone in their inventory. The smartphone would otherwise not play any role in this concept. The added risk, and balance therefor, for a character using remote viewing, is that they cannot see what goes on where their character is currently at. An addition could be to force /anim texting when performing a remote viewing, unless the character is sitting in a vehicle. ✅ Viewing from a static location inside the property should be the minimum implementation for this concept. Remote viewing is realistic, as anyone, these days, could go out buy a 'smart' security camera and see the live stream on their phone. ❌ Remote viewing is a pretty impactful feature, giving users powerful surveillance tools. Viewing access, Pandora's box. Realistically, access to viewing the camera should be determined by the property owner. To keep things easy, only the property owner should be able to view the camera upon basic implementation of this concept. However, things get really interesting if you allow tenants or even others to view the cameras as well. Perhaps security factions could view their clients' CCTV cameras? Exterior furniture For balance, these cameras should be visible when providing an outdoors view. However this presents many challenges. If forced to be placed outside as exterior furniture, then it would normally require platinum donator status, which makes this feature inaccessible for the majority of players. Additional problems come from the current exterior furniture system where furniture is not loaded automatically upon restart. Alternatively, they could be placed by property management, if their furniture placement is more permanent. This also avoids the problem of having players remove the exterior furniture whilst still the camera script would still be accessible. Implementation (IC) Tiered cameras A more complete implementation could introduce a tiered set of cameras. And expensive option that captures game sound, /me and /do and chat, indicating a microphone is present. A cheaper option that captures only /me and /do, possibly with an old school screen artifacts, flickering, or video effect, and perhaps forcing grey scale if possible. Costs, perhaps monthly? Cameras would need to come with a cost. This can be determined and changed at any time. An easy way to differentiate between tiered options would be to add a monthly cost to an expensive option that allows for remote viewing, similar to existing subscription based services for smart cameras. Suggested costs, per camera. Basic CCTV: $10.000 Advanced: $30.000 and $2.500 monthly. Purchase in a hardware store This is a personal preference of mine, and not likely to be implemented at all. I just wish some more love for hardware stores. I guess this may require some thought on how to combine this with a UCP request that is usually instant and not IC, but hardware stores simply need love! Challenges Determining camera angle How to convey from the player to property management? This is a problem since the camera angle is extremely important and an essential part of this concept. Any solutions are welcome. Perhaps there is a technical solution to this? Indestructible cameras Realistically, security cameras are not indestructible. However, with any reasonable implementation of this concept, they likely are. This is not realistic, unfortunately. Other Current and future CCTV rules Current CCTV rules require OOC consent from the other parties being recorded, when used outside. This concept could avoid the need for these rules, on the condition that whoever is viewing the camera made an OOC recording themselves. CCTV cameras that are not scripted by means of this concept could fall under the currently existing rules. Public surveillance cameras I'm quite sure this wouldn't spark any controversial discussions at all! Public surveillance cameras are very common around the world. They are often operated by the relevant local police force or other governmental institution tasked with this. In theory, this concept could incentive law enforcement factions to set up cameras in specific areas. This is a rather impactful option for law enforcement, but I am sure LFM and IFM would be more than happy to discuss this, would it come to this point. I'm imagining a control room from where authorized personnel could view different cameras and observe what is going on in real time. Indoor CCTV, even more possibilities Much of this concept was based on the idea of outdoor CCTVs. However, nothing should really stop someone from using them indoors. This too opens a host of possibilities, some of which I have not even started to consider. It definitely solved any issues around exterior furniture. They could possibly be added without Property Management coming in between? Perhaps directly purchasable as function item? Its something to consider for the future. Commands to add: Property Request > CCTV /cctv [cameraID] /cctvoff I'm sure there would be others involved as well. How would your suggestion improve the server? This is a highly realistic feature. CCTVs have been around for decades, and more recently security cameras are becoming more abundant with the introduction of consumer grade products such as Ring and Google Nest. Additional, this concept could help resolve some major issues that are created by separate interior dimensions. Right now, unless you are inside a native interior that is accessible immediately in the main dimension (24/7s, clothing stores, etc), you cannot witness what happens outside. This presents all kinds of problems, some of which are solved by this feature. The concepts above can also enhance existing features, such as making a differentiation between different types of smart phones. Its just a small way to bring improvements.

  10. Disabilities are not chosen and we should do our best to allow you to not suffer from it even in a game. Yes it's time consuming to find solutions and do exceptions, companies IRL have the same problems and are held to specific standards, I don't see why we shouldn't act the same. The issue is that many people can come and claim they're disabled since it's internet, but I wouldn't want people with real disabilities to feel impacted by our general rules. It's fair to say that if you're able to proove your disability or a staff member can confirm your disability, that you can be treated as an exception in the process and thus we can all take time to find a good solution for you. If your issue isn't solved with FM, feel free to add me in the PM as a last solution to help things go forward.

  11. To preface this, I've been in PD on this server for probably two years at this point. What do I use teamspeak for? Pursuits, and when I'm pointman / lethal cover in breaches or an active shots fired situation. Some days I don't even use teamspeak ICly, I just sit in my channel muted. If someone has no mic permissions because they're deaf / can't speak, you're excluding them from two things: - Updating in pursuits - Doing stuff that involves a lot of shooting such as Metro/SEB, or hell, even being the first to a shots fired scene. Is that stuff necessary for PD? No. A vehicle takes off? You just pull over and send out an APB / put up a warrant for evading and any other charges. In fact, I know there's people in PD who will go out of their way to avoid pursuits. Hell, even when you're getting shot at, most people can't radio it in at the same time as running away - coherently. If you can focus on getting to a safe space you can focus on roleplaying the oh shit button to get help. Sure, this puts you at a disadvantage - but hell, not everyone is some superhero cop and it might provide some interesting roleplay.

  12. No, they went to the the leadership of the two factions, not LFM or the staff team. VOIP is not being widely used, but it is vital to the RP. Again, imagine that a police officer is in their car, checking your car's documentation and you decide to get out and shoot at them. Do you really believe that the right course of action is to acknowledge the situation, open up the chat and start thinking of a reply, then typing out your request for backup as you're being shot in the head? While, in real life, they'd just probably see you, duck (or shoot back) while also talking on their shoulder-mounted radio station. Or what about a pursuit - it's unreasonable to think that driving at 100 mph can be properly done while also continuously typing out your location, direction and other pieces of information. VOIP is only being used when needed - there's internal protocols regulating this. If you're able to type, you stop using VOIP (once a pursuit is finished, coordinating the arrest happens ICly, not over VOIP). It's use is minimal but vital. Yes, having people who can't use their microphones can be harmful to the RP. What happens if you're being shot at but can't report it? You just... die? While, in real life, you'd be able to report what's going on and call for backup? Or do you engage in a shootout on your own, which is not very realistic. What happens if a vehicle evades you? Also, what happens if you want to go on duty and no one takes you as partner, or no one else is online? Should people be forced to partner up? That would not only deter people from joining (or logging on), but it would also cut the number of police units to half of what they are now (and they're not that many for such a big map). You also have specialized units, so if you have someone with no microphone on-duty, someone who's in a traffic division, two detectives and three K9 units, would people not be able to roleplay their specialties? From 10 people who are on-duty, who is going to be the one who's forced to partner up? Yes, it's a hassle because it's much easier to coordinate patrolling on your own then it is with a partner (I may want to do something in-game, or take a break OOCly and whatnot, it's easier when I'm alone). It would also bring a lot of bad stigma on the people who have no microphone because no one likes being forced to do something (in general). These are all legitimate questions and they're all just from the top of my head. Can something be organized? Sure. But it has to be in the works for a while, all of these questions have to be answered, it should have as little of a negative impact as possible and it would be a true hassle. Even after, I don't think it would work properly since that small part of having to use VOIP is so important to the everyday RP. He was offered middle ground but he turned it all down. I am sure that your intention was not to stir anything up, but that was the result. I do believe that it's not fair that you have a disability and I can't imagine how hard it must be for you, but that's the way it is. LEO factions have rules - including being required to have a working microphone. While using the microphone is a very small part of the on-duty time, it's vital in situations requiring it. Allowing people who cannot use a microphone (for whatever reason) in the faction will create precedent - it's impossible to verify who has an actual disability versus who is lying. It's already happened that people lied about not having a microphone in order to get in a faction. I'll (again) give the examples I gave before - you can't be a pilot if you're blind, you can't be a sports commentator if you're mute. Also, in this specific situation, you were offered alternatives. That's the best and only way to go about this whole thing - finding middle ground. While the faction should be understanding of your disability, you should also be understanding of the faction's requirements. If you refuse, then that's on you. That's my opinion.

  14. I'm 100% against this for several reasons. Firsly, players need to be held publicly accountable for their actions especially if they have caused any kind of disruption during roleplay scenes effecting multiple players. This also serves as a means to keep players informed of the outcome if they've been invested in the scene in the event it is voided, or action is otherwise taken. It also helps to educate other players in similar situations. Whilst this is certainly what we'd like to achieve under ideal conditions, it isn't always possible. For example TA's will generally be directed to take straightforward reports until they get used to handling them and feel comfortable taking something more challenging, so some reports are naturally going to be cherry picked, some other admins who only have a limited amount of time to give between all their other duties & real life commitments may lean towards this too. Unfortunately support staff just don't have the experience needed to decide who's best suited for each individual report and the nuances that can come with taking one. Another issue that contributes to admins being reluctant to taking some reports, is the pages upon pages of arguing that can go on with them making it take a lot longer than it should. Plus some players can be notoriously difficult to deal with. Granted reports shouldn't be left gathering dust for weeks and we are encouraged to handle them in order wherever possible. I feel a lot of these issues can be resolved by simply having reports auto locked until an admin picks it up, allowing for much more control as you have suggested and will cut back on most of the childish bickering that often puts admins off handling them. Meanwhile I'd encourage players NOT to argue in reports and simply wait for an admin to handle it if you want it to be taken more quickly and help reduce not only our workload, but our stress too!

  18. And what else should this topic bring than anger? I didn't plan on commenting, because I am pissed. But now when I saw this I really have to comment. No one is bashing a faction, we're giving you some criticism. Dude, he is deaf, do you understand that? This is a game. The only thing he wants to Roleplay is PD/SD. Can you put yourself in his skin, and think about how this shit feels? The whole community would appreciate if you guys handled his application in a different way. HE IS DEAF. He is able to type, to use /r command. He is able to speak, he just can't hear. Why not allowing him to do all kinds of Roleplay, but setting up a simple rule, can't be part of pursuits unless he has a partner, unless he is a passenger in a cruiser. This is TEXT BASED ROLEPLAY SERVER, and only factions who are able to use voice are you guys, PD/SD, and you really want to make arguments like you made on your previous post? No hard feelings, but you have 0 humanity in you, you want to ruin someone's immersion about the game BECAUSE HE IS DEAF. You all should really think about your words, opinions, and actions regarding this guy. @thekillergreece Buddy, take this to Nervous. We are all fully supporting you.

  19. This shit is fucking sad and I'd ask for admin intervention. If my man is capable of doing his duties, let him be an officer. Why'd you need a teamspeak for anyways? I feel like the OOC radio should be only used to give information in pursuits, and anything else apart from that I'd consider metagaming. Have y'all put this guy to a test? How come y'all are so sure he can't perform his tasks over /r the way he would over the mic? C'mon bro. Besides, the man said HE CAN speak. PD/SD too ANGERRRRYYY that they have to write their responses over /r ?

  20. Hello! Good day to whoever's reading this. I've decided to put up a suggestion of completely disallowing the attempt, or robbing of players that use the /advert function to sell, or purchase vehicles, properties, etcetera. I came to this suggestion because I attempted selling a vehicle on the server, where on a timeline of 24 hours I got robbed once, and almost robbed yet again the next day, from simply advertising to sell a car. Now, this is something that wouldn't be this popular whatsoever in real life and considering new players are leaning towards the illegal side, creating a lot of groups robbing people on a very high volume. Considering the police in the server are not well equipped enough to actually take down robbers, and people robbing likely ditch the server after the first few days it is pretty annoying that I can't just sell a vehicle without worrying about a random number that isn't a custom one for legitimacy that would likely rob me. It wasn't the case about half a year ago and later became extremely popular as I am the evidence to such a theme. I just recommend a rule being placed to disallow robberies and ambushes to be performed on people using /advert to sell or purchase vehicles, because it can become extremely annoying and unpleasant to play in the server when it truly becomes unrealistically popular to rob people who advertise, in a city like Los Santos. It's just a suggestion. I don't hate people who do it either, it's just roleplay. But it'd be nicer knowing I don't have to worry about being robbed by a newbie player looking for some adrenaline every time I want to sell a car. Thank you for reading, have a wonderful day!

  21. I think Fusco brings up a good point. Everybody knows that PF's and CCW's are often times abused by the people who have them. There's no good reason for someone to engage in a conflict that doesn't effect them if they do have a gun. People across the board tend to ignore this, and forget that firefights are deadly. It should be considered a break of fearRP, and thus CKable, to get involved in a firefight that does not concern you.

  24. Annual Message from the Chief Strategy Officer - Ella Knight 2020 has been a year of consistent improvement and success for Blue Water Logistics. For 2021, we don't expect anything different. At Blue Water Logistics, our goal is to keep a steady line of improvement as we go. Assuring our customers of consistency and delicacy in our service, which is our priority. Furthermore, we've been investing a share of our earnings into technological logistical advancements, including a new vehicle tracking system, and our own in house "MANAGERIO" application, along with our new platform "K8", which we intend to launch in Q2, 2021. In addition, we've invested in digital freight management, advanced automation, demand forecasting, productivity analytics and other innovations that support our customers and make the best use of our people's talents. Through constant innovation we've managed to build a gap between ourselves and other competitors in 2020. Our objective is to build from that for 2021, announcing expansion internally with a new Depot in Liberty City. With the new terminal, we've also launched a renovation campaign for our current Los Santos HQ to improve the conditions of our infrastructure to give our employee's an improved work space. Transportation and logistics are inherently valuable to all populations; we're part of the economic and social fabric. Having that in mind, we'll make sure that we aim in the right direction to make sure the state of San Andreas is well served. All the best for 2021. Ella Knight, Chief Strategy Officer.
