  4. POP-G / Proven On Point is a loose criminal gang of peckerwoods that operate state wide. While most members are serving life terms in maximum security prisons across the state, some are still actively representing on the streets. OOC - Proven On Point has been a gang specifically tailored to grow and develop from in-character circumstances and situations and each and every one of the member's has committed to the current state of the gang from an in-character perspective. This faction aims to portray a realistic nomadic peckerwood faction with ties to the San Andreas prison system and more specifically the White Supremacy gangs within it. Most notably, The Aryan Brotherhood. The goal and purpose of this faction is maintain a high standard of quality roleplay and tailor it's membership to encourage individual character development within the much broader context of a state wide gang. Recruiting for the gang is most commonly done through the means of clout within the the correctional facility and willingness to put in work. However it is not entirely uncommon to be recruited from street credibility.

  5. Short description: Allow two players to hold hands with each other using commands. Detailed description: Give two players an option to hold hands with each other whilst idle or walking together. One player initiates the hand holding script-wise by typing in “/holdhands [target]” which sends a request to the other player. If that player consents to holding hands, they can accept it script-wise from person who made request by typing “/acceptholdhands [target].” The player who sent the request has control of both themselves and the other player when they are walking together. Either player can cancel the hand holding at any time by using the command "/cancelholdhands." Although a hand-holding script is not necessary, it would be a useful feature that has the capability to enhance IG romantic relationships. Commands to add: /holdhands [target] /acceptholdhands [target] /cancelholdhands (shortened: /chh) Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? This command will improve a couple’s RP. It produces more opportunities for couples that assists them to build their relationship/develop their characters. A couple can use this animation instead of constantly /me'ing, /do'ing or /ame'ing that they are holding hands. Also, it would be nice to have a couple of non-sexual animations to perform with IG romantic partners. Additional information: Please let me hold hands with my e-husband!

  7. Black gang RP is simply not motivating to actual roleplayers who want to bring this type of RP. I personally believe that this lack of motivation derives from the IFM's lack of support for these types of factions, the server's player and administrator's general knowledge of this subject is rather low which simply un-motivates players even more. Furthermore, black RP attracts a lot of bad eggs which give the lot of us a bad reputation, but this shouldn't be an excuse for people to not accept these types of factions. I think a huge reason regarding the bad admin record of most black gang roleplayers actually stem from the fact that we are in highly populated areas where many new players approach, and this can cause an admin situation rather easily. As the leader of 52 Hoovers and an OOC advisor for the 59 Hoovers, I believe I have the full right to say this but we've made many changes. There is still lots of room for improvement, but the faction has come a long way since it began and the current circumstances, while sad, are the product of the environment. If you're looking for a savior, you kind of have to get him in power. Players can bring good to the server but it's really hard to try and improve a whole section of RP when a lot of administrators I've encountered have little clue about black gang culture, and politics.

  8. PLEASE CHECK THE STICKIES, THERES A FORMAT FOR SUGGESTION! I had a run in with a person delivering his good, while PARKIN onto the sidewalk right at the drop off point of my business. Did a generic Roleplay and unloaded quickly. When I confronted him about parking on the Sidewalk he ignored me until I forced a reply, a reply that was quite HOSTILE when I asked him for why he's parked on the sidewalk. A change has to be done, like the OP mentioned where people have to have them signed up with a Company, or contracted with a Company if they're freelance. Moreover, admins need to take a bit more aggresive stance on trucking because at times it feels like the people who work the trucks are doing it to get money, not as an IC job for their character.

  9. Out of Character Information The O'Hara Boys are attempting to portray a crime group formed by Irish diaspora who found themselves in struggles, trying to better their lives through any means necessary. The faction reserves the right to character kill people who are directly involved with it so long as the reasoning behind it is there. Screenshots are posted with the approval of the leadership and/or soldiers of the O'Hara Boys. NOTE: PEOPLE ARE EXPECTED TO PORTRAY IRISH-AMERICAN CHARACTERS, WE DO NOT ACCEPT FRESH OFF THE BOAT IRISH PEOPLE. 13. Black gangs aren't structured at all like La Eme lmao there's no such thing as a 'shot caller' in a black gang, maybe a big homie, but even then they don't come home and call shots on anyone. Black gangs are more so a democracy of older individuals who have say so over certain politics like peace treaties & gang rivalries. Entities within the gang go along with those rules, but as far as big homies taxing younger members of their gang to benefit the life of an imprisoned "big homie" is rare nowadays. It's not recommended for a black gang member to give up their drug money to imprisoned homies. EDIT: Even if there was a black structure going on I'm sure it wouldn't last long considering how other roleplayers with a similar structure deem themselves entitled to ultimate control over the illegal gun market scheme. Gang roleplay is a sham on this server because of egotistical players like this.

  14. It needs to be understood that script items like vehicles, properties, etc. will never have realistic prices. A lot goes into creating a virtual economy, and there must always be a way to suck money out of player's pockets, otherwise everybody will be able to afford anything they'd like to afford, which can prove to be a negative thing; see buyouts, how high people sell their properties for, and how willing people are to purchase them at buyout instead of fighting for bargains. In real life; not even ten percent of the population are able to buyout expensive homes, businesses, etc. as there are living expenses, mortgages, debt, let alone would they know how to properly run a business, manage it's financials, and effectively target their markets. Whereas on the server, anybody and mostly everybody can own or owns a business. (For as little as 100-400k, for leases 5-35k/month) On GTA:W, three to four businesses are open at a time; open to a pool of three hundred to five hundred people and only stay open for an hour or two, business owners make around ten to fifteen grand a day, if not more, employees make three to five grand an hour, all you need to do is pump out a /bad and people will show up so long as it appeals to their character/them by proxy. I haven't even mentioned starter paychecks, which again; are unrealistic, but necessary for the server's economy. What I'm saying in brief is: our economy does not accurately reflect the real world's economy, it is impossible to do that, and always will be. GTA:W has its own unique economy, vehicles are ultimately a money sink on GTA:W, and while I understand the vehicle mentioned may not be worth it's bang for it's buck, what I've stated above should be taken into account before making posts like these. Nervous can't change the prices of vehicles, because that would either increase or decrease the values of the vehicles that are currently in player's possessions, which naturally; is a problem when we are forced to use the same pool of vehicles for years with few additions, as opposed to the real world's manufacturers that design and pump out new cars every year. tl;dr - gta w economy will always be like this and thats how it be

  15. Short description: Guidelines to more solidify the do's and don't when it comes to the /breakin system on the server. Detailed description: The /breakin system onto the server in it's current state is rather bare state. I've been asking staff and players alike to get some feedback, and from my very own experiences as a player, I wish to suggest these guidelines to possibly improve onto the entire /breakin system. When breaking in to places, admins generally 'spectate' or 'gamemaster' the player(s). Players are warned to be quiet in order to avoid neighbor suspicion, and on top of that, the general danger of alarm systems are included. I've personally had interacted with security systems, virtual, as well as physical in real life, and I wish to share my knowledge and bend it to a more server friendly version. That way, I don't complicate and clutter the /breakin system with trivial real life stuff. Allow me to further elaborate; Upon further investigation with both staff and players on GTA:World, it's come to my attention that staff have a general idea as to what they should do when it comes to /breakin's. I don't blame for certain people to have a below-average knowledge in regards of security systems, it's the reason why I wish to step in, and further solidify how I believe that /breakin's can be improved on. I personally believe that if I were to help GTA:W by setting up general guidelines, it would smoothen the process of /breakin's, improve the quality, and generally avoid any form of confusion where staff have to wing it. My guidelines will generally represent what I've seen in the server, how they'll work, and how to bypass said systems. A security system can be easily defined by it's name. A building with a security system installed will have triggers on each door and window, essentially every 'opening' a house or apartment might have, and monitor it by use of sensors. Businesses might have more special sensors installed, such as where a jewelry shop as lasers running through the glass which'll act like a sensor or the like. When the sensor has been interrupted by a door suddenly opening, the person entering is prompted to put their password in, generally through a keypad by the door, and disable their alarm. This, of course, if a very basic concept of a security system, but it covers the foundation to what I wish to add onto the server. If more of a definition is needed, then please let me know, and I'll add onto this. I'll now continue to list various components to a security system, how to 'bypass' them and the do's and don'ts. Staff may take whatever they please from this, and implement it accordingly. There are moreso RPly guidelines, rather than scripted in items (Other than the security systems, obtainable through hardware stores, of course). Do note that I wish to simplify the way security systems are used. The way I describe certain things, and how they are IRL, are not a full 1:1, or might not even come near. What I yet again wish to voice, is that I have pondered on many of the follow things for quite a while so that I could think of a 'server friendly' system. I also wish to state that in no shape or form I wish to claim that these are 'separate' items. It's safe to assume that these items are included within the security systems one can buy, and I simply wish to flesh out the components. - The use of security systems in houses. Houses and apartments have a rather 'standard' security system. They will have sensors to all of their openings. That includes, but is not limited to, all doors and windows. An example of said sensors are stated below. These are to be placed outside of view from the outside of the apartment, and when the connection is broken, a timer will essentially start counting. When whatever person fails to provide a valid code to the keypad, an alarm will trigger. Ways to bypass them is to cut the telephone lines to a building, something that's near impossible to achieve within apartment complexes, given the lack of interiors. To bypass, one could cut the telephone lines to the property. This will however not completely disable the alarm. It will simply set an extended countdown for the alarm. If say, the alarm would normally ring within 30 seconds upon the breach, it'll not take a minute, if not a minute longer for it to sound. RPly, people will be able to check for sensors on doors and windows, only after they've opened the property. They could check for any sensors directly onto the doors and windows, after opening them. This will give the robbers a chance to rethink their strategy or run away before the initial alarm were to go off. Any attempts to manipulate these sensors, will result in the alarm being triggered. These cannot be disabled, but merely delayed further, or possibly bypassed if the robbery party managed to find an alternate entrance to the property. I wish to point out that the alarm system is one huge network of several components, which each their own purposes. If anyone were to tamper with the alarm system itself directly, the alarm will go off, this is a failsafe to all alarm systems. - CCTV Modern day CCTV tends to rely on bluetooth, and most commonly, WiFi. Certain establishments, mainly gas stations will have their CCTV used through a 'cable' function. However, the use of jammers and the like seems rather extreme and complicated to me. It could be a possibility, but I simply wished to point that out before I get to the subject. CCTV will work to record whatever is happening, and store such onto a computer, usually out in the backrooms. Only establishments such as jewelry stores, government buildings, and certain high establishments could have CCTV which is always 'manned', so to speak. Where a person will man the camera's, and have eyes on the location at all times. Therefor, I wish to suggest the following. Either allow CCTV to record whatever is happening, and 'store' it onto a generic computer within the establishment or property itself, or allow the use of 24/7 'manned' camera's, which enable for someone to essentially 'watch' the camera's at any given time. CCTV's cannot be disabled. When attempting to, an alarm will start to count down. They can be bypassed, and have the alarm merely delayed for but a minute or two. This can be achieved by tampering with an alarm control panel, if such a thing is present on / inside of the establishment. Essentially, the big security box which certain people hang up. If the power is RPly cut, the alarm will immediately count down. If the CCTV broadcast lines are severed, the alarm will be further delayed, rather than to outright go off. - Motion sensors I've noticed that certain establishments wish to use 'motion sensors' for their properties. This is about to take a rather complicated turn, but as I said before, staff are more than welcome to take and use whatever I present. If this doesn't fly, then it's alright by me. Motion sensors in real life are commonly bypassed by certain ways. By use of sytofoam shielding, which enables the person holding the piece of styrofoam to 'shield' their body temperature from getting detected. The use of infra-red flashlights. When said flashlight is concentrated upon the motion sensor for some while, it'll render the sensor nearly useless for the duration that the infra-red light to pointed onto it. By crawling underneath the sensor. However 'mission impossible' this might sound, most commercially available sensors have a standard feature to make it 'animal friendly'. Certain sensors are unable to pick anything up that's up to three foot in height from the ground, enabling people to bypass sensors by crawling onto the ground to hopefully pass the sensor. The sensor can only be bypassed in said ways, there is no way to turn it off. When manipulation is attempted, the alarm will start it's countdown. - Jewelry store glass In regards of jewelry stores, given how little there are within the server, I decided to keep this brief. Certain cases are protected through lasers. This, is far from the 'Dodge under the laser' sort of lasers. These lasers travel through the entirely of the glass, and 'bends' along to reach another point. When the laser connection is severed, a.k.a., the glass is broken, an alarm will sound. The only way to bypass this is to cut the glass with professionally made tools. The true 'score' for jewelry stores is a box filled with gems, which is generally kept underneath the/a counter. It rarely happens that gems manage to fall out of a ring, a neckless, etc. Or, gems are being kept there as a 'replacement'. The definition on it varies, but the main point is that the employees store said gems into a small box, in the counters which they work at. These are mere boxes which are not directly secured. Commands to add: N/A Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? I personally believe that if staff have more solid guidelines when it comes to /breakin requests, that the overall player and staff experience will increase. No longer have staff to put themselves in confusion positions because they aren't up to date on how a 'MasterLock 4000' works. Whatever is in the server from what i'm aware of, is listed here. Plain and simple. Actions and consequences. Taking out the guess work, and replacing it with solid do's and don'ts so that staff know what to do when a certain player does something. Additional information: These are in my experience the main components to which I've faced during my /breakin adventures. If anyone has any suggestion as to what I should add/remove, please, do comment or let me know through my PM's. I wish to thank @Notbond, the members of GTA:W staff, and the countless of players that have inspired me to make this suggestion. As I've stated before, staff may take and add onto this as they see fit. In my opinion, this seems like a more than solid base for them to work off of when it comes to breakin's. Have something to refer to when they question the acts of the players, and give players a general idea on what will work, and what won't when breaking in.

  16. You gave a reason. I said it was a bad one. A cars popularity is, funnily enough, based on a lot more than just "THIS THING LOOKS COOL." Tell me why the Corolla or the Impala or the Golf are popular. Is it because they were designed by executive designers at Lamborghini? NO. But they are popular cars. Does that mean they should be A MILLION DOLLARS? NO. How popular a car is in game? NOBODY BUYS THEM. BECAUSE THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AS SHIT. Do you see the issue here? Would you rather buy an Audi R8 or Aston Martin? OR would you instead prefer a brand new Mustang that is slower and shitter than BOTH of its predecessors? I know what I would choose. I don't understand what your SAMP point is trying to make, but it's probably wrong.

  19. Correct. But if it's not your vehicle (OP's case is a trucking company) Then you can't pay it. "As stated in the title, I own around 15+ vehicles for my trucking company, 11 of which are due on the same day." He's frustrated because when they expire, he has to login and then pay all of them 1-by-1.

  22. Going to Davis LTD just to buy a water bottle while being a higher class citizen who are not frequent in South Central gives you a lot of free extras along with your order. Such extras include: A teenager trying to start a beef with someone who is older and/or stronger than him. If female - being cat called by a teenager. Witnessing a robbery. Witnessing an active crime scene. Your car being vandalized cause it's nicer than the locals cars. Witnessing someone being shot and/or stabbed. Witnessing a gang shootout. Being stabbed yourself. Being shot yourself. Avoiding these extras are not possible. It's completely ridiculous for people who do not live in South Central to be forced to go to Davis LTD when from realism and roleplay aspect makes absolutely zero sense for them to do. If I need to buy something and Davis LTD is open? I'll rather wait than play the lottery. I'm in complete support for the suggestion.

  24. Hillside Trece [H.S.13, The Heights, Varrio H.T.] is a sureño street gang located in El Burro Heights, geographically placed in the eastern part of Los Santos. El Burro Heights is one of East Los Santos oldest barrios, dating back to the early 1900s. Around that period of time, the neighborhood consisted mainly of working class families with Italian and Irish descent, working in local shops as well in the nearby industrial area. That came to a change as the Murrieta Oil Field was bought in 1921. Almost instantly, cheap Mexican laborers began to flood into the area, working in the oil fields in slave-like conditions. As the new laborers began to settle down in the neighborhood of El Burro Heights, they were faced with severe racism by the locals, despising them for stealing their jobs and because of their cultural differences. This caused violence coming from both sides, forcing the Hispanic community to band together and protect each other from the racism and violence that was directed towards them. Years later at the height of the Pachuco culture, most of the Italians and Irish locals had left El Burro Heights, spreading out around the city while more Hispanics moved into the area. At the same time, a couple of trouble making zoot suited teens were on the rise, creating havoc on the streets. The group was never given a name, but they made sure everyone knew they was from the Hillside, thus the name of the gang today. During the early 90's the gang stepped into a feud with The Mexican Mafia as they refused to pay La eMe any taxes. The outcome of their refusal was heavy casualties for the Hillsiders, that eventually forced them to settle peace with La eMe. They accepted The Mexican Mafia as their superiors and the old leader stepped down, handing the reins to the next generations which paved the way for the sureño gang in El Burro Heights. Since then, they have represented the Trece. The people in the gang prides themselves as a family but they should not be mistaken for a social club, it is a straight up cash machine. The gang operates as a traditional sureño gang with a clear hierarchy and the main purpose of the activities would be to acquire as much money as possible while staying under the radar of law enforcement, while occasionally flexing their strength onto their enemies and rival gangs. Their strength would not come from numbers as it was lost with the previous generation, but in the brutality of their actions and commitment to both their cause and criminal enterprise. Gang bangers of Hillside Trece would use any means necessary to achieve their task and showing a sign of cowardice or backing down would never be tolerated. The modern gang of Hillside Trece that we see today is an active gang in the streets of East Los Santos. While their major crimes and distribution of narcotics occurs from the streets of El Burro Heights, the gang does not hesitate to step outside of their area to commit crimes against rival gangs or civilians. You disrupt the gangs business or disrespect the set, there is going to be a problem. This includes internal issues since the organization is structured to the point of no fuck-ups. The return of the decade saw Hillside 13 in a weakened state. Los Santos Sheriff's Department in conjunction with the SBI conducted a large-scale investigation dubbing the operation “East Side Execution” where over twenty confirmed Hillside 13 gang members were arrested and convicted along with two members of The Mexican Mafia. The street gang got charged under the RICO Act, and received a gang injunction which disallowed gang members to congregate more than three deep at any point in time. Hillside 13 with lack of leadership began to dissipate, the youth in the area opting to join other street gangs or get out of the life all together. Although on its last legs there remained a handful of members to keep the gang's legacy alive. Hillside 13 now operates in a semi-defunct state with recruitment being filtered through many of the high schools throughout East Los Santos. Although in a weakened state, the gang's knack for territorial supremacy is evident. Hillsides rich and storied history in the El Burro Heights, commonly referred to as “The Heights” carries a level of pride for all validated gang members under Hillside 13, thus seeing others in the area as “less than”. From grand theft auto, armed Robbery, drug distribution, weapon distribution, murder for hire, pimping and pandering, and many other crimes the gang sees many ways to keep its operations afloat. Not only that, Hillside 13’s current relationship with The Mexican Mafia remains strong, boasting the most Emeros from any hood in Los Santos. Although an East LS gang, a lot of the gang's younger validated members do consort with blacks, with Hillside validating a black Sureno by the name of Nightmare in 2021. The older generation carries mixed opinions about it, depending on who you ask. Due to the area members are expected to carry a degree of ruthlessness, and a “down for whatever” attitude. The weak often get put off at signs of weakness. We aim to maintain a high standard of roleplaying and to portray a realistic view of a sureño street gang. If you would like to roleplay with us, simply approach us in El Burro Heights, preferably with a backstory which fits the area itself and an appropriate age. if you have any questions or need help with your characters backstory.
