  1. Mexico’s border towns are overwhelmed with migrants from their own highlands with aspirations of getting decent jobs. Guided into the United States by smugglers, those who make it are often in debt to the person who delivers them to a better life. Unable to read or write English, they have no other choice but to be in debt to whoever allowed them to safely make the passage. With no money to pay for food or transportation, the only viable method of compensation is a service. Immigration officials in southern San Andreas and areas of Texas near the border have been tasked with focusing on this epidemic. These areas are often dubbed at ground zero for modern slavery with an alarmingly low rate of prosecutions. Regardless of its issues, a country with the economy like the United States' would be seen as a perfect hub to provide something that people want or need, a land of opportunity and an ideal asylum destination considering the value of the country's dollar, job opportunities, and quality of life. “One rule: no violence”. The Nayarit Connection, informally known as The Xalisco Boys, are categorized as a tight knit and non-confrontational entity who succeed at operating in rural areas while attracting very little attention to themselves. Coming to the United States, The Xalisco Boys were required to avoid attention from competitors and law enforcement. Other entities faced numerous obstacles, which caused them to halt operations. They were described as conflict-averse, low-profile, horizontally-structured, and faithful to the precepts of modern marketing. The group was formally stamped into existence in the early 1990s with the rise of the opioid epidemic in the United States. The Xalisco Boys migrated to rural, midsize cities. These cities were predominantly white, but had large Mexican populations where the Boys could blend in. They arrived in So San just as a revolution in American medicine was underway, and an epidemic of pain-pill abuse was already spreading over that region. Their nonviolent ways helped them increase their profit. Members of the group are known to blend into the areas that they operate in, through getting everyday jobs—ranging from business owners to delivery drivers. The entity strives to establish normality. The group has kept their edge by utilizing non-violent methods to conduct crime.

  4. Cop killer sentenced to death Sarah Harper Two months after the brutal, cold blooded ambush of four officers in Strawberry, the Office of the District Attorney revealed multiple Capital Murder charges against Erick Moruga on the 7th of October. Erick was a affiliate of the Tortilla Flats 13, a gang that's been hit by multiple Gang Injunctions due to the killings against Law Enforcement. The court case lasted two weeks and the prosecution provided a plethora of evidence to the court, including video footage and forensic evidence. The defense did not contest the evidence in court nor objected to the evidence provided. The conviction appears to be strengthened by the fact of a CI (Confidential Informant) within Tortilla Flats 13 who shared extensive details with the Los Santos Police Department. Erick Moruga's execution is scheduled in 30 days, unless he appeals the charges against him, the death penalty will be administered by lethal injection in accordance with State Guidelines. This is the second ever Capital Punishment case in Los Santos Court Judgement against Erick Moruga. - Credits: Superior court of San Andreas #CF-347 The Los Santos Police Department and the Office of the District Attorney provided the following statements. "At this time the Los Santos Police Department has no immediate comment, however an official press release will be published in the coming days to share details regarding the conclusion of the case." - Spokesperson Anne Nance "On Tuesday, October 19, 2020, the Superior Court of San Andreas found Mr. Erick Moruga, 19, an affiliate of the Tortila Flats 13, guilty of three counts of capital murder and one charge of first degree murder in the killing of four uniformed police officers including Police Officer III+1 Dan Buchanan, Police Officer II Antoine Vallois, and Police Officer II Sophia Hirose. Video footage and forensic evidence linked the crimes to Mr. Moruga beyond a reasonable doubt and, in accordance to sentencing guidelines set forth by the San Andreas Penal Code, he was sentenced to death by lethal injection." Assistant District Attorney Victor Hawkins, the prosecutor assigned to the case, noted: "There's nothing we can do to bring back the lives of the fallen officers, but this is the closest to justice we can get for the victims and their families." - Spokesperson William Eden VISIT OUR WEBSITE - CLICK HERE

  5. Sheriff's Department - Career Fair THEODORE HOUSTON On Sunday the 18th of October, the Los Santos Sheriff's Department hosted their first academic drive. The event was opened with a speech from the Captain of the Sheriff's Department, Wyatt Logan. This is what he had to say: ''Good evening everyone, and welcome to the Los Santos Sheriff's Department Paleto Bay Station. My name is Captain Wyatt Logan. I oversee our Administrative Services Division, which includes our Personnel Administration Bureau - The guys in charge of all our recruitment. I see a lot of future Deputy Sheriff's here. I hope you all find this career fair both informative and entertaining. We have a few things lined up for you all that'll unfold as the day goes on. But, without any further ado, please help me give a warm welcome to Assistant Sheriff Lukas Schmidt.'' Assistant Sheriff Lukas Schmidt Next up to talk to the audience was the departments Assistant Sheriff, Lukas Schmidt. Schmidt had this to say: ''Thank you, Captain Wyatt for these welcoming words and welcome once again from myself. It's always amazing to see such a turnout for our career fair. As the Captain already mentioned, we have a large mix of bureaus here who are ready to show you what they do and what they use in their duties. From the Traffic Services Detail to the Special Enforcement Bureau, it's all here. We also have a wonderful catering on site so if you feel hungry, head on over and get a delicious burger.'' Assistant Sheriff Schmidt also went on to inform the audience that a few demonstrations would be shown later on in the day. One of these events being the SEB demonstration shown in the photographs below. Ongoing SEB demonstration Spectators of the demonstration Finally, I had the opportunity to ask a few questions of my own. I asked Assistant Sheriff Schmidt what the department wanted to show throughout the career fair, he said: ''This is a career fair where we showcase all of our bureaus and units. We do this to educate the community about what we do. People who are interested in a career in law enforcement might gain a lot more information here.'' My next question was an open question to any of the members at the fair, I asked what a career as a deputy promise and what the benefits were. It was Captain Argueta who answered, this is what he had to say: ''Highest law enforcement pay between the Police Department and us. Lemme tell you. This is just a taste of what one badge but unlimited possibilities means. That's our recruitment motto.''. The career fair ran for most of the day and the community members were enjoying what the department had to say and to show. It was a fantastic turn out for the Sheriff's Department and they managed to get everything in they needed too. The demonstrations they showed were informative and attention grabbing, they really made sure to keep everyone focused on the task at hand. 8. I think we should make an amendment to the robbery rule. I don't think it should be allowed to call the taxi hotline /taxi /call 910 with the intention of robbing the driver. It's sub par roleplay in my opinion and it will heavily demotivate people to want to roleplay being a taxi driver if this is a regular occurrence. I have never personally heard of a case in the news or from taxi driver friends IRL where a person has called a taxi company's hotline to request a taxi with the intention to rob them. I'm not going to claim it's never ever happened anywhere BUT it's highly unlikely that in today's day and age this would even be a regular occurrence. It's not realistic because in order to order a taxi you're going to have to give a name (sure it can be fake) and the company will have your phone number and a record of that call making it fairly easy to be traced. It's pretty lame RP and a very cheap and easy way of grabbing 5k, possibly a CCW/PF and a vehicle because all they need to do is /taxi and then get inside /me hold a knife to the driver and that's it. Now i'm not saying to make taxi drivers immune from robbing, if you're driving your taxi through Rancho or waiting outside of a shady bar in the hood or someone from the street flags you down and robs you as a result of you picking up a random dude from the street well then that's on you. That is a little more realistic as there's no record of you in any database or what ever, etc etc. I don't want taxi service to become worse than it is already, there's already a lack of calls and a lack of people who want to RP in this area. The last thing we want on this server is people waiting 30/40 mins for a taxi call to finally get one only just to be robbed. If this happens often you'll end up with no one wanting to RP being a taxi driver for fear and inconvenience of being robbed constantly. Discuss!

We are adhere to the highest standard of conduct and customer service. Vetrov Automotive currently has the only luxury Showroom in the entirety of Los Santos and plays in a league of its own. We proudly present you what a dealership should be. Vehicle Evaluations We at Vetrov Automotive absolutely understand the struggle behind selling a vehicle, especially if due to your schedule you simply don't have the time to do so and of course understand how painful it is to go to any dealership and being offered barely half of what your vehicle is worth. We strive towards finding the golden middle ground where both parties leave with a favorable outcome. We like to believe that we are in the same boat, simply approach us, talk to us, we can definitely negotiate and come to an agreement. We are honest but fair in our vehicle evaluations, we are as willing to negotiate as you are, this of course comes down to the way we are approached, we try to be as reasonable as possible but do not tolerate hostility. The worst thing we or you can say is no, simply talk to us. We are willing to purchase most vehicles in good condition excluding commercial, such as delivery trucks and vans. Vehicle Reservations Moving forward we are introducing vehicle reservations for a vehicle that caught your attention but you simply need that extra time, we understand. By paying 5% of the vehicle's value, we will hold onto the vehicle for you for up to 48 hours (up to 72 hours on a vehicle value of over $200.000). After 48 (or 72) hours have passed without you collecting your vehicle, the vehicle will be put back on sale. When you purchase the vehicle, the 5% deposit will be taken off the vehicle's price of course. Due to the natural potential of people reserving a vehicle for the sake of being able to and requesting a refund just before the 48 hours run out, you would have to excuse us for making the 5% deposit non-refundable. 21. The Philadelphia Connection strives to create a realistic depiction of La Cosa Nostra on the West Coast. We prioritize on personal development within our characters, and faction development will come with it. This is to create an authentic vibe that will only benefit to this factions encounters on a daily basis. The members of this faction do not put rank over in character development, as we focus on creating a realistic environment. If you're only interested in gaining rank as quick as possible, this will not be the case. Becoming involved with this faction may take some time, and may be somewhat difficult... but it is not impossible. We urge individuals wishing to roleplay with the faction to focus on their own character's progression, traits, and expertise that will provide beneficial to this organization within an in character basis. We want individuals to roleplay characters with flaws, emotions, and understand it's okay to make mistakes. You don't need to roleplay a perfect person in order to progress within the faction. We idolize realism, over perfection. Development is key to everything we do, we don't encourage individuals to come in acting like they aren't afraid of the world. The development process entitles being molded into the life-style, and learning more about the organization's standards by individuals who have been involved. It is okay to be somebody who in character has no knowledge on criminal activities and is shown the life. La Cosa Nostra has changed since back in the day, it operates as more of a business than street guys extorting, and muscling their way into everything. It's an underworld with shady individuals who's main focus is accumulating money. The mafia isn't as predominant on the West Coast but it still has presence. We don't require any out of character knowledge on on LCN in order to thrive within this faction. We just require you having an open mindset, and being able to properly develop and execute any situation as realistic as possible. Recruitment is strictly handled in character. We have a discord, but it's used with minimal interactions in order to not blemish the strong in character relationships we have with one another. Out of character has no determination on what an in character outcome can hold. This world is filled with greed, backstabbing, and sketchy individuals which makes this faction's history and development pure and life like. If you wish to become involved with the faction, please do not reach out to our members with ways to do so. We have a wide variety of businesses, and other ways to become involved which can be found out about in character. It's not an easy process, but not unobtainable. Just be persistent and refer to the topics posted above. We encourage people to give it their best shot, but not expect to become involved over night. It's situational, it can be awhile, it can be rather quick. It's all about how you roleplay your character, and what benefits it would provide having your character around. We encourage individuals of all levels to engage in roleplay with the faction. We're here to have fun, and provide quality to the server in the genre we wish to portray. If you have any questions, or want slight guidance on the creation of your character. Please feel free to reach out to one of our members and do so as long as it's not involving recruitment or an easy way in. In order to post screenshots on the thread, authorization from leadership is required. We require individuals to roleplay within the faction, and gain some sort of progression before receiving an invite in game, and to the discord. The invitation will come with time and progression.
