  1. Feature Showcase: Carwash Information Bring your vehicle to the carwash to get a nice clean up! By driving your vehicle you gain dirt on your vehicle which eventually needs to get cleaned off. Driving in the county will increase the dirt faster on your vehicle too. How long can I drive until my vehicle turns visually dirty? Your vehicle turns visually dirty around level 2, this takes around 1.39h of non-stop driving to archive. See the table below. How does driving off-road effect my dirt status? We have chosen a couple of county zone's that generally are more dirty than normal roads, if you drive within these zone's the hours to reach a specific level are divided by 2. So if you drive in the county for 0.69 hours you will reach level 2 already. Credit to @St3fan[NL] for the insane optimization and improvements!   3. Short description: Allow the water from FD's /hose to clean dirty vehicles. Detailed description: Cleaning the rigs is a daily part of a Firefighter's downtime between calls. It teaches discipline to probationary members, keeps everything clean and presentable, and is a group activity - everyone from a probationary firefighter up to a chief takes their turn in cleaning the rigs. Giving us the ability to clean our vehicles through RP, instead of needing to somehow get a very large truck through a carwash, would be a really nice option for our passive RP. It also opens up the decontamination element of our RP a tad as well - rigs are meant to be decontaminated after certain calls; having this be a script thing would be great. In addition, it opens up the opportunity for us to partake in more charity car washes through our public relations' events. These have been done in the past on a purely RP basis - being able to actually clean cars now that dirt is a synced thing would be great, and would bring about far more opporunities. Commands to add: Depending on the implementation, potentially none. Perhaps /cleancar? Items to add: none How would your suggestion improve the server?   5. PLEASE fix the poker script. Literally every thread about it gets ignored, why? There are so many small little bugs that would honestly take very little dev time to solve, please look into it. Poker is played at pretty much every casino, and there's many on the go at the moment, with new ones popping up frequently. It's used by many every day, give it the attention it deserves.

  7. Short description: Add a lockpicking skill system similar to the weed growing skill system. Detailed description: As of right now, lockpicking a car is based purely on luck, you get random percentages every time that don't take into consideration how skilled your character is in the lockpicking process, which in my opinion, can be improved. Weed growing has a leveling system where the more you plant seeds and grow weed, the higher your level, therefore the higher the chance of you getting a seed back, etc. I believe we should have a system where if you successfully break into X amount of cars, your level increases by one, which boosts your percentages of breaking into a car by 5-10%, and so on, for a maximum of 3 levels, with the highest level giving a 50% (Numbers are only an example, they can be altered) increase in chance, but obviously it would take a long long time for someone to get to that level, and your average carjacker would've been arrested or caught long before, so only the truly skilled and 'good' roleplayers would ever reach the highest level. Commands to add: No commands, only a leveling system. Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server? It would give more value to the car jacking scene and would make it more fair to people who spend hours and hours of development into low level criminals who do petty crime such as breaking into cars, etc. Additional information: I don't think there's any real disadvantages to this, and in my opinion, it should've been implemented a long time ago.

  10. The West Side (W/S) 52 Hoover Gangster Crips (also referred to as the "5-Deuce Hoover Gangster Crips") are a long standing Hoover set located in the western district of South Los Santos. Originating in the 1970s, this gang is a subset of the larger Hoover Criminals umbrella. They are the only Hoover Criminals set still holding the Gangster Crip moniker, due to their alliances with the 52 Broadway Gangster Crips, and 53 Avalon Gangster Crips. Their closest alliances outside of the Hoover card is with the 51 Trouble Gangster Crips, forming 512GC. The 52 Hoover Gangster Crips neighborhood sits directly next to the 59 Hoover Criminal Gang; arguably, their closest ally. The 52 Hoovers control an area east of the nearby 59 Hoover Criminals, dominating South Brouge Avenue, and East Grove Street (referred to as Groove Street and Dead End by members). Due to their large list of enemies and dwindling turf, it's very common to see 52 Hoover Gangster Crips and 59 Hoover Criminals in each other's neighborhoods. Due to many rivalries with Rollin 0s Crips, Neighborhood Crips, Mafia Crips, Blocc Crips, Menlo Crips, Brims, Bloods, as well as a long standing hostility towards some Sureño gangs, Hoover Criminals adopted the "EBK" (Everybody Killer) or "ABK" (Anybody Killer) slogans, along with "CK" (Crip Killer), "OK" (Rollin 00s Killer) and "BK" (Blood Killer) slogans which is ever present in their graffitis. The 52 Hoover Gangster Crips are long-term rivals of East Coast Neighborhood Crips, Main Street Mafia Crips, Rollin' 30s Harlem Crips, Rollin' 40s Neighborhood Crips, Rollin' 50s Neighborhood Crips, and Fruit Town Brims. Throughout their history and recent days, the 52 Hoover Gangster Crips have come to ceasefires with rival gangs such as the 62 Brims (also referred to as Six-Deuce Brims, or BJ Smith Park Brims). The Hoover Gangster Crips adopted its blue and orange colors due to its history with the Crips, later adopting orange in the 1990s to proudly represent their allegiance to the Hoover moniker, taking on the Houston Astros baseball team’s colors and branding of a blue star within orange outlines with a bolded orange 'H’. You should not be approaching the gang as an outsider with the intent of joining. Realistically, your character should have been raised or a local to Brouge Avenue or Covenant Avenue. Roleplay living in the area with an age between 12 to 16 if you want to develop your character and eventually join the faction. Under no circumstances, should those who are above the age of 17, approach the gang, having "moved into the area from New York". This type of roleplay will get you removed from the area in-character.   11. Hi! PD SWAT here! So first of all, deployment of snipers is completely unrelated to the gun update. There has not been an increase, we have had these weapons since the start. Now, as for the two screenshots posted: Screenshot 1: That sniper was assigned as overwatch. Meaning he is not going to have a look over the scene, his goal was to look for anything coming from outside the scene. Why that is, I will not describe here in a public topic as it is a fully IC-matter. Screenshot 2: That sniper was deployed during a hostage situation, from the information I had, where you have to go for precise singular shots. Here a sniper rifle is utilized over an M4, which would require multiple shots to kill someone. If you feel this is still not right, you can forward your complaint to LFM or to PD leadership.   12. I am surprised this wasn't the first thing mentioned. The ad system!!!!!! I realize that bad is how you make your money but the system is aweful. 1. Make it qued so that ppl don't have to spam for ten mins WITH plat donator during peak hours. It can expire after 15/30 mins depending on donator status. 2. Make it a list in you phone and not a global text push so ppl can pull it up and scroll through and then instead of a blip on the map it puts it on your GPS if you select it. It's unrealistic to have it in the text area and if you toggle it off like I do there's no alternative way IG to see what's open since the blip names are limited. I guess if you still need a perk to charge for make the option to get the GPS coordinates for plat?

  15. Short description: Adding more functionality & features to the script, as it currently stands. The script is lacking quite a few features, all you get is a menu (that requires an active employee on site) & /carsign which with all honesty should be accessible regardless if you have the script or not. Detailed description: Since I got the script to my dealership (about two weeks ago) along with hearing from other dealership what the script actually gives you. You pay $150,000 once your script request is approved, which gives you a CEF UI that shows you a business menu that allows to add & manage employees, sell cars through said menu & /carsign. Other than that? Your employees can not spawn the cars, they can not lock or unlock the cars, they can not sell the car via /sellvehicle command (where money from sale would go to business bank, since it's possible to know what business bank it need to go to based on what business the vehicle is linked to). The purchase menu, yes, an employee can make sales through that, but it kills ability to show the vehicle, allows a proper test drive, haggle over the price (unless owner of vehicle is present on site!). In real life an employee can drop a price of a second hand car by negotiating price, even perform a test drive after the client fills in the paperwork. In the current state of the script? None of the employees can, which causes major problem, because they need the owner to be present at all times in order to open. With these changes an employee would be able to open anytime. This suggestion was born in order to address these issues and resolve them. As paying $150,000 for mainly /carsign, is a bit much, I'll be honest, since it was launched and people started to get the script, my car lot was one of the last to get it because with the lack of features(no blip, no features mentioned above) it did not seem reasonable to fork over that much money for so little. Eventually I decided to bite the bullet and get it, the script itself is not a bad idea, but it definitely CAN be better with some features mentioned here added. There was another suggestion made (24/AUG/2020), and has been over a month with zero interest shown from the development team, I understand they are busy with writing new system and features, but leaving other systems that lack features is not good either, especially system that could benefit from having more additions made that with all honesty should've been there. /carsign, the entire feature of it disappearing when a player enters a car? where you need to renew it each time should not work like that, should disappear on /sellvehicle or /carsign clear commands used. That is the only feature that is useful most times from the dealership script. One of my employees who sell's her own stock, while I was away advertised us having more cars than actually spawned on the lot, people came and IC started to bash us for "Lying about cars", "stock sucks" even though she said check our Catalog (aka the CEF system) they refused. Moreover /carsign, should be available to every player that he/she can put a sign on a car they own 1~2 sign(s) per car without the need it being part of the dealership, why limit the /carsign just to a dealership while in-real-life you can put any sign you want on a car you own. Because quite a few people did pay for a system to help manage their lot while having employees, but it lacks a bunch of features in order to be worth the price PM asks for the shop script. As it stands, the script is useless (for having employees at the least), having employees is pointless as long as owner of the cars is not present on the lot. Meaning the employee can sell the car via the CEF UI but he can not organize a test-drive if client wants to, nor he can negotiate price. Yes, allowing all Employees to /sellvehicle might be risky, but maybe put that command for Supervisor and higher, while regular Employee can still sell via the CEF UI while being able to accommodate at least the test drive. Commands to add: All the commands already exist in game, they just need adjustment to work with Car Dealership script. Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? Additional features to an already existing system that lacks those features. Additional information: A suggestion that was done on August 24th and since then zero interest from development team, on similar topic, I tagged it here so that input is also considered. Just loads of little bugs that have been around forever: /DeleteAllMessages is no longer an option on Nokias, /deletemessage *ID* is also missing and makes it so you can't even delete individual messages on those. Meanwhile, smartphones can delete entire message threads with one click. Something about hitting backspace to exit out of a clothing shop menu has frequently teleported me across the map, usually back to wherever I last hit i for the interaction menu. Inventory items sometimes rearrange randomly. Phones re-organize themselves in your inv and /myphones list - I'll have a Nokia specifically at the end of my inventory list, and name it 'go.' Meanwhile, 2 other smartphones named 1 and 2. Sometimes, they shuffle all around! So I'll use /smp 1 thinking I'm changing to the smartphone named 1, but it goes to slot 1 which will magically rearrange to list the Nokia instead. Loads of people want the old Hair Salon menu back, but we're forced to use the CEF version with no alternative command (like how the plastic surgeon CEF still has a /surgery option that people like better) Plastic surgeon: the CEF menu magically gives you some of the blemishes/complexion options without them being selected. Even with the /surgery menu, you have to finalize/buy to be able to see the moles/complexion/opacity that you selected. Don't like it? You have to re-select it and buy again.. and again... There's visual guides on the forums, but the trial and error sucks. Buying makeup is a process of setting the color, opacity, then toggling the model 1 forward then 1 back so you can see what the updated/chosen color/opacity look like. /hairtie ponytail(etc) only syncs for people around you at that time. Someone new enters the dim/streaming distance, you need to repeat the command. You turn your smartphone off. You do /ph to pull it up and the screen is magically on despite it showing as off in /myphones. So you have to manually turn it off THEN back on again. Sending PayG phone texts/calls takes money from on-hand cash. Buying gas, convenience store items, guns, clothes, etc, all take money from on-hand cash instead of just coming from your bank. It'd be nice to do /withdraw # or /deposit # at the bank & ATM again instead of using the CEF keypad.

Extremely petty I know but the hat/shirt/pants/etc on commands taking the lazy route and just refreshing the entire outfit instead of the individual parts, for example: You've taken your shirt, hat, glasses and backpack off and want to throw your hat and ONLY your hat back on, you use /hat on which refreshes your entire outfit forcing you to /glasses off, /decals off, /shirt off all over again to get back to where you wanted, nothing game breaking of course but very UGH educing.

  21. Short description: Allow players to see who from their contacts list is online through the phone (/ph(one). Detailed description: Apologies if this has been suggested before. I looked and couldn't find anything. But back on topic. I'm not sure about everyone else but for me it can be a bit annoying when your chat is spammed after you do /contacts, especially if you have a long contacts list and you're in a busy area. I suggest keeping this command available and optional for use, but allow us to see who is online and who is not when we use our phone through /ph(one). Perhaps instead of adding a little "online" text after the contact name, you can make it so their names on the screen come up as green, indicating they are online. Those who aren't remain black.   22. Honestly, I would love this. As someone who roleplays actual lockpicking involving raking pins and holding down lock bars, alongside RPing slipping jimmies through windows, I feel this adds a whole lot to the scene when it comes to illegal cars. It fosters realistic, organic roleplay, allowing for characters to develop and grow more experienced. It also adds some amount of progression, to allow for a less random approach to breaking into cars. On a sidenote, I would add the addition of an all-around increase in lockpicking difficulty. It should be a base number, less random. As it stands, whenever I have less than 2 lockpicks and the percentage is less than 60%, I /vbreakinstop to save my cash. I would add that with these changes, the percentage should be hidden.

  26. I can't turn off my indicators. I am left handed and drive with my arrow keys. Other things can have their buttons rebound (like /menu) Why can I not disable indicators/rebind them to other keys so I can drive around without constantly indicating? It would be such a simple QoL improvement for me.

Buying clothes or fuel for example (and a bunch of other things I can't remember) requires you to have money on hand, these are things that should be charged from your bank account instead since you can pay for all of it with a card irl and not everyone likes carrying cash on them. It's annoying when you suddenly have to run around like a headless chicken to look for an atm because you lack those 10 dollars or so

  31. Makeup menu has been on and off broken, working, broken again for a long time, it needs really looking at. Check thread for an idea of how long it has been an issue. Basically I just avoid changing any makeup at all since the menu and display of the changes is so bugged.

  33. Let me sneak in a little compliment for the devs while they are scrolling through this topic. My sincere compliments to those who have been putting a lot of their personal time and effort into creating this gamemode. Thanks to you the server is what it is today and has become unique, playable and a lot of fun. Some features still need a little tweaking, but thanks for the great work so far.
