In the era of the 1990s, working people stood together in their unions to create the 40-hour working week, paid vacations and good, American, wages. Across from the employer’s table, they made crucial American companies the envy of the world and built the American middle-class brick by brick. Unions help bring workers out of poverty and onto the middle-class. In fact, it states where legislation cripples the use of union rights, their incomes are lower. Thus, creating a more stable and productive workforce, where workers can have a say in improving their jobs. This is beneficial all round for the company, the employees and the American economy. However, that very fundamental middle-class has been systematically destroyed by big corporations, greedy CEOs and a broken workforce. Yet today the very same thing that stands in the way of CEOs and greedy corporations from further greed: working people standing together. What is the Transport Workers Union of America? The Transport Workers Union of America (TWA) has been representing the voice of 150,000 members across airline, railroad, transit and trucking since 1934. Rich in history, the union was created to safeguard and improve working conditions and living standards of all workers. Los Santos has a long lasting legacy of working people who stand together for the very rights and work protections we consider fundamental to this day. Locals #31 is a branch of the wider union predominantly based in Los Santos. The current branch resides in Cypress Flats and spearheaded by local representatives elected by the people and for the people. What are our values? Short description: Add a notepad item in game that we can actually make notes on. Detailed description: A notepad with multiple pages that you can type notes on and the animation to go with it! Something with a simple GUI that pops up when you do /notepad which then puts you in an animation using it. I believe the animation should be standalone too so people who aren't taking note can use it in the day to day. Commands to add: /anim notepad, /notepad. Items to add: A notepad! How would your suggestion improve the server? This would add more immersion to scenes with Police involved. Currently, when taking a statement we can stand there in a random animation, no animation or whip out a ruddy big clipboard which is meh.. It'll allow people to see that we are taking notes or statements around the scene. I've seen a few menyoo lovers use this animation so I believe it's simply just a case of adding it. It'll also be great of civilian Role Players who work in cafes, restaurants, bars, etc. Heck, even day to day simple use! Additional information: EDIT: Added to the suggestion. Hi, Hopefully this is the right forum to post this and apologies if not, as I only joined yesterday! I recently started on the server as a student at ULSA and was wondering if there are many other players out there who are either enrolled, teaching or interested in such RP at our cities finest (and only?), university? If not, is there much interest in any such RP? I'm not really talking about attending classes of course but more along the lines of the RP and events that students get up to, outside their regular curricular activities - not limited too, but some ideas might be: Renting / Sharing accommodation (Good to meet people / expand your RP circle). Hanging out with other students & making friends of friends etc. Student Parties - whether at a house or going to bars / clubs in town, a proclivity for being loud. (possibly partaking in underage drinking / fake ID's and recreational drug use - there would certainly be room for dealers and people to play 'fixers' to help such activities). Events - whether it's Watersport activities along the beach, jocks or athletics competitions, or hand gliding / climbing. Student arranged protests? Depending on numbers, a fraternity / sorority? For those wanting some academic roleplay (Since i'm not sure classrooms are a thing?), there could be extra tutorial sessions out of hours with their 'favorite' tutor. ? Wider RP - Obviously some of these events might help and include RP with other groups: Owners of local businesses & passing trade from a group of students walking in. Students applying for party time jobs to help fund their student fees. Imagine hiring a party boat or ski's down at the marina from a local player run business. Or, an adventure experience with a local ranger / owners of local gun ranges. Interaction with the criminal underworld to obtain their party / recreational drugs. Maybe even arranging work experience / internships with the local Fire / Police / Medical teams and similar businesses? There is no denying that the current talk of the town is the ongoing protests, all of which so far have escalated into drastic violence and resulted in the whole Los Santos community feeling its subsequent effects; both from a moral and economic standpoint. Although official governing bodies have provided their statements on the developing situation, LS Independent took the opportunity to instead go out and get a different side of the story in an attempt to unravel the events that took place on the 6/7/2020 from the side of those who faced down the barrels of rifles and batons. Inquiring with two individuals who we can confirm were participants of the protest, they reported that the protest was initially peaceful; and that the protest “Turned violent after cops left to show up with more cops & started using tear gas to try and push back protestors.”, as well as the protestors reportedly being blocked in by two lines of cops at the City Hall where the protest took place. The protestors we spoke to also stated that undercover officers were supposedly present in the crowd & were apparently attempting to try and start a conflict, though this is currently unconfirmed and unfortunately will likely remain both confidential and unanswered for years to come. When asked about if they believed that the momentum of the current riots had slowed down or potentially even died out after a few days due to the police presence in protest-prone hotspots ramping up to levels not seen since the 1992 riots, the protestors simply stated that “We’re all tired. Hella fuckin’ tired. Bruised ribs, hurt souls, disenfranchised -- just ‘cause there’s a dip in activity, doesn’t mean it’s over. We’re restin’ up, we’re preparin’.”, followed by a simple statement of “We’re comin’ for you, corrupt pigs.”. Although this writer must remain completely neutral in order to ensure that the people are heard, it feels that the answers that’ve been gained leave more questions than concluding answers. How much of the budget is the LSDP actually receiving and putting towards riot control equipment? Will officers be investigated and reprimanded for their reported misconduct both before and during the ongoing protests? Will the LSPD attempt to provide an opportunity for open-dialogue with communities in an attempt to repair their currently broken relationships? Short description: It's this video I seen in another discord and it was associated with RAGEMP and I was wondering if we could get a new and improved Phone UI to where it actually looks like a iPhone and you can take your own selfies and send pictures to people in iMessage, it brings more immersion and stuff like that. Detailed description: I have a video to show it, don't really know how to explain it and be detailed, I just know it's way better for immersion and roleplay. I believe that, this suggestion could bring more immersion. Just think how you would get a nude from a girl in character and they have to use **it would be a picture of her tits** instead, with this, you could actually take your OWN selfie and send the nude that way or what if it's somebody you need to take a picture of, maybe it's someone you know if you wanted to ask your friend if you knew this person and you take a picture of him with your phone. I don't know, that's just my ideas, it just gives you more to do. Most people use Menyoo, if this could be implemented, you wouldn't have to use Menyoo, you could take your OWN selfies, your OWN pictures of someone and etc. Additional information: N/A

Suggestion template Short description: Sync the extras on vehicles with them (ex. pushbars, taxi toppers, etc.) Detailed description: Essentially right now, all random components on vehicles are controlled client-side. In speaking to @Westen, he said such a thing could be server-synced, as opposed to something relying on RAGE. It would be nice for variables to be synced, and, if possible, specifically set at auto shops. Commands to add: N/A Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? It would allow people to further modify their vehicles visually in ways that are ordinarily left random. Additional information: I'll provide screens below of the four rooftop taxi extras. I repeatedly have to spawn through the first two extra options to get to the latter two, as the NVR distributed through the LSPD makes the ad tops blinding. All four of these are separate, unsynced extras that appear on both models of taxis currently available. I'm harping on the cabs because they're probably the most readily noticeable and visually important extras. Even if we can't find a way to have a specific one set on spawn, it would be nice to be able to manually pick the variable for your vehicle once it's in the game. If we can find a way to have one specific set on spawn, I'd recommend it be something through auto-body shops same as everything else. Quick edit: While not part of the extras shown here, there are versions with both the taxi lights illuminated and shut off. We're apparently getting control over this with a command in the update that fixes the taxi meter/dispatch system. Something else to look forward to! "Sweden, we simply do it better." Hello stranger! If you've pressed on this guide, I suppose you're looking out of pure curiousity or perhaps even a slight shred of interest. Well then, let me inform you that you've got a real swede here, to help you roleplay a swedish person. Common traits, of a Swede - Non-confrontational - Too much alcohol consumption - Often racist, though trying too hard not to be - Has no culture - Large amount of divorces - If male & overweight, highly interested in thai women So, let's get started on these topics! 1. THE NO CONFRONTATION ZONE Swedes are like rabbits. If you were to put it in a ghetto term, "they don't want no smoke". Swedes have a habit of avoiding conflict or any kind of unpleasantry in their daily-life. It might be due to their passive "neutral" stance throughout history (World War 2, for example.) or due to their weakness as they slowly drift away from their former viking genes. To roleplay a Swede, you are most likely to be non confrontational. 2. ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION Swedes these days, are either binge drinkers that drink a-lot, and I really mean a-lot. It is the cause of loads of family trauma in Sweden, and also the reason to live for some. What I'm getting at is, either you barerly drink and are mostly likely a vegan, or you drink a-lot and love BBQ's. Because you can drink, but in the sun. 99% of Swedes are on either of the spectrum. Most common are the drinkers. Conservative, responsible drinker? Pfft. PFFFFFFt. What are you an alt-right extremist? 3. "I SWEAR I'M NOT RACIST. HERE, HAVE MY HOUSING." As seen throughout the years, Sweden are very accepting of immigrants. We are however, really fucking bad at integration of immigrants into our country. This is why a rapid amount of young Swedes are fleeing the country, if they can. It's a bit like a waterfall. You have a low chance of escaping. Now, why have swedish leftist politicans accepted so many immigrants, even though we obviously cannot handle it? Well, it's because of racism! We're so racist and prejudice that we have to try and lie and do over-the-top gestures to prove that we're not! (Like importing an entire religion and culture into our country!) So, if you're roleplaying a Swede, be a bit racist. Key is, try really really hard to prove you're not. This mostly applies to characters over 30 years of age. 4. "WE DON'T HAVE A CULTURE, WE IMPORTED ONE." This one ties heavily into the 3rd one, which is also an argument for why we're racist. We're so racist, we even hate our own ethnicity as caucasian europeans. We hate it so much, that we claim Sweden has no culture. We import other cultures, creating huge clashes of culture, considering we actually have one. If you're roleplaying a true Swede, you're either A. The -obvious- racist Swede, that likes hard rock, and tells foreigners to "get out of the country." This one knows Sweden has a culture. or B. A leftist racist that tries to hide they're racist, so you claim that we have no culture. You appropriate others cultures often. Do that if you're roleplaying a Swede. 5. "WE DIVORCE. IT'S JUST OUR THING." Swedes are terrible at finding life partners. A marriage lasts for on average 11 years in Sweden. This means that if you're roleplaying a character that is 30-40, you've most likely had 1-2 divorces already. RP it, done deal. 6. "THAILAND." For some reason, our older men who have had bad luck with women because of the man being overweight, slightly rich but very ugly, have often decided to take "vacations" in Thailand, where they find a wife, and maybe import them to Sweden. Are they bought? Is it real love? I don't know, nobody knows. It just happens so much. Chances are, if you're roleplaying a 50 year old, over-weight, rich, ugly swedish man, you've got or have had a thai wife. SWEDISH SLANG, AND WHAT THE HELL IT MEANS "Kubba" - To run, running. "Blatte, babbe" - Slang terms that are considered racist. They reference immigrants. "Bira" - Beer. Just beer. "Zutt" - Hasch. Cannabis in hasch-form. "Yani" A turkish word. Often used as a "like" at the start of sentences. "Asså" Something that Swedish teenagers often say before their sentences, if they're not ghetto, then they'll just say 'yani'. "Igga" - to ignore. "Rinkebynyckel" - a ghetto place called rinkeby, in conjunction with a key. it's referencing a crowbar. "muggen" - literally translates to "the mug", a toilet or bathroom. "mullig" - chubby "hobbyblatte" - someone who pretends to be an immigrant bEcAuSe iT's CoOl "tabbe" - mistake/weapon (think it originated as mistake, but then someone thought, hey, carrying a weapon is a mistake waiting to happen. "chagga/chaggas" - whore / whores or hoes "farbror blå" translates to uncle blue, the cops. the police. "bängen" - the police. "zasta" - a weapon, often a rifle like an AK. "abiat, koks" - cocaine "djur" - translates to animal, but usually just means you're awesome or whatever. like, you chug two beers in 10 seconds someone might go, "du är djur ju!!" Hating ERP is not a joke. ERP is a sin, and needs to be eradicated. I, the Grandmaster of the Holy Order of the Anti-ERP Crusaders, will not rest until ERP does not exist in any facet. My goal is a noble, yet difficult one. We have made some progress over the centuries, but the heresy continues to spread. Help us eradicate this global menace.

Short description: Simple, either completely remove the UI from using /camera or give us an option to disable it. Detailed description: N/A Commands to add: /camgrid - /camui possibly? Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? For people like myself and many others /camera is the only reliable way to take decent pictures IG, the problem comes with having to fight the UI when wanting to take screenshots and the UI ruining any attempts to record authentic IG video, stunting what could be possibly be great media from and for the server. Additional information: If you're using external overlays, say something like NVIDIA's Freestyle Filters, they won't appear on pictures taken with /camera (through RageMP) meaning pictures taken IG won't match with what's saved to your RageMP screenshots folder, I think it's obvious why that's a problem. The ONLY way to bypass this is by screenshotting at the same time you take a picture with /camera in the brief window where the UI vanishes, the problem here is not only does this mean you miss pictures if your timing is off but also leaves you with two pictures for every one you wanna take. This suggestion was made because I don't feel the response for the previous suggestion around the same topic was treated with much thought and was concluded with no real care given when a suggestion like this should be an easy fix and would be very appreciated by the media-heavy side of the server.

Short description: Sync lockable doors for interiors, and allow doors to be made public which would mean they are always open. Detailed description: Having to run to a certain door mid-RP to let people in can be very annoying, not sure if the sync issue is being worked on but would be very benificial. Adding public doors would also be a big help for this, which in a way could be seen as a small work around for the time being while the sync issue is worked on. Public doors would help for public parts of interiors such as in homes or toilets in businesses for example. ABOVE: A HOMELESS CITIZEN IS INSTRUCTED TO REMAIN STILL AS AN PLAIN-CLOTHES POLICE OFFICER MOVES IN TO DETAIN THEM AFTER PARTAKING IN A LARGE BRAWL The past 3 days have seen some of the most heated tension between local law enforcement officials and the communities in the south of Los Santos; more specifically Davis & Rancho. With previous large-scale protests having occurred in both neighborhoods before turning violent, it’s now no longer an uncommon sight to see rows upon rows of LSPD cars parked up with sirens blaring and suspects with their hands in the air. Whilst many people are presumably discontent with the ramped-up police presence in both neighborhoods, the LS Independent took it upon itself to make a midnight excursion in order witness the divisions firsthand between community residents and the law enforcement officers sworn to defend them. The results were certainly not gray by any means, and were arguably black and white to say the least in their appearance. One instance that the LS Independent witnessed took place just outside of LTD Gasoline in Grove Street, where an individual was accused of participating in a shooting mere moments ago; having firearms drawn upon him before he was eventually let go after being both appropriately identified as a non-suspect as well as searched. The individual himself took an opportunity to speak with the LS Independent, stating that the LSPD were “Always pulling over black guys.”, a sentiment that seems to hold an element of truth to it courtesy of the LS Independent witnessing multiple occasions of African-American males being pulled over and asked to identify themselves to law enforcement officials in the area of Davis and Grove Street. ABOVE: A GROVE STREET RESIDENT IS SEARCHED AFTER OFFICERS BELIEVED HE WAS A PARTICIPANT OF A RECENT SHOOTING IN THE GROVE STREET AREA Even with the increased LSPD presence, it was apparent upon our excursion that not only is the LSPD engaged in heated tensions with residents of their respective communities, but that individuals from outside of Los Santos are making trips into these neighborhoods in an attempt to instigate conflict with residents. Although officers have been managing to keep on top of antagonistic behaviour as a direct result of the recent protesting, there is no doubt that it will only be a matter of time before aggressors slip through the cracks and escalate a situation into a violent ending. It’s clear that from what the LS Independent witnessed over the course of four hours that the LSPD has been stretched thin as a result of the recent protests, but by subsequent nature; they have been put on edge and have begun portraying themselves with attitudes not seen in police officers since the 1980’s. With calls evidently coming in quick and fast, it’s safe to say that they no longer have the opportunity to take particular time with cases like they used to; evident through one officers blunt wording of “Bag and tag ‘em.” when talking about a deceased male who was shot in Grove Street on the 7/7.
