  1. Literally just a collective topic where I can show off my in-game screenshots that I've taken with NVR, PRSA (Heavily modified and I've removed half of the files, oops?) and my own Reshade configuration. NOTE: The screenshots at the top, are the oldest, and the screenshots at the bottom, are the newest. Throughout all of these screenshots, chances are, I've tweaked my settings and configuration of my ENB and/or Reshade to get a nicer image out of it, hence why my later screenshots look better ? All of these screenshots have been taken in GTA World whilst playing, some with and some without the help of /camera. ADDED: 05/APR/2020 ADDED: 08/NOV/2020 I've changed my mod setup entirely. I'm now using Realism Beyond as the base of the entire mod, a slightly tweaked ENB and ReShade setup.

  3. Hello there! First of all, I'd like to thank the management for working on this as we needed something done to stop 'pop-up' dealerships that have 1 week lifespan and to improve the quality. However, I've just watched the video and I think there are a few things wrong which we have spotted, and would like to explain them below: • This change actually decreases the amount of role play required when purchasing vehicle and removes the human element. • People arriving to dealerships will not see the stock list in the form of parked up cars, that means that their visual modifications, colors etc... will not be displayed or shown in the stock image presented by the menu. “Flashy" cars or cars that have been designed to a specific taste won't need attract people anymore as it's just a list... with stock images on and nothing personal to give that car it’s own identity. • This actually removes one of the key traits of a car salesmen by removing the player to player interaction. There will not be “test-drives”, car thieves and the opportunity for 'sales talk' anymore. Cars can be sold pretty much already by any player on the server, what gives dealerships a unique experience is the skills those individuals have in purchasing cars for good prices and equally selling them at a price the customer feels is a good deal, 95% of the time this feeling comes from the discussion with the salesmen and I feel we would lose that should we go to looking at images in a GUI. • It'll be really hard to negotiate on the price, going back and forward in and out of GUI menus between dealerships waiting for offers to be reviewed instead of simple conversations. That applies with trade-ups or trade-downs. • Again, highlighted in the point where I said anyone can sell vehicles but without any marketing skills or communication skills they will be able to 'run' a dealership without putting effort in it, an exact opposite of what we try to achieve as the server matures. • No-one will properly role-play purchases anymore, just like at the mechanic garages, where you get your car re-painted in 4 minutes. We'll be seeing people just coming to the checkpoint and checking the list, buying the car with a 'forced' role-play. This will eventually turn into those mechanic garage roleplays. Get ready for pre-set emotes by the salesman. Basically, it's a roleplay-killer and not realistic at all. At any open dealerships in the world, you'll see cars parked up and you'll have a walk around, inspecting them. I feel like this will be perfect for people who'll run a dealership for just the money and are not in it to roleplay. Sunset Autos as an example is a bit of a social spot, people come to browse the cars but also catch up with people they know and generally encourage various types of role play with different audiences - I feel like this update will be perfect for people who'll run a dealership for just the money and are not in it to roleplay. If someone wants to list it, we have two places for it (facebrowser and the forum) Please do not implement this as it is and let us community work with you on this with the community to bring a better idea with functionality which actually sids and increases role play rather than discouraging it. -We need scriptwise help but what do we actually need? So let's talk about a few ideas, I'm sure we (dealership employees in-game) can come up with great ideas. • There could be dealership businesses. • Vehicles be controlled (sold) by the people above 'supervisor' rank in the business with commands similar to existing ones. (Such as /sv => /bsv) • The money will go to the business bank/cashbox. •• There can be 3d text labels on the cars, where people would see its details just like in a dealership in real world. • Anyone in the business can park up the cars, edit their labels. • There'll be a record of sales/purchases in the business page. Also, the admin that brought this script up is welcome to role-play with me at the dealership for a week to get some insight before implementing this as it is. Thanks for reading and please share your ideas too.

  6. Feature Showcase: Chat Logs Information Chat logs are without a doubt one of the most important resources that are generated while playing on a role playing server. They can be used to create screenshots, keep track of conversations (example: interrogations held by the Police Department), assist with reports, and so on. RAGEMP does not provide chat log functionality out of the box, which is why we created it ourselves to enhance your experience while playing on the server. You will be able to save all of your generated chat logs with a special tool we made for the job. Usage The GTA World Chat Log Assistant is a tool we developed to extract your chat logs. All you need to do to get started is download the latest (stable) release from https://github.com/AdvGTAW/GTAW-Log-Parser/releases, select your RAGEMP directory, and click on "Parse". You will then be able to choose between saving the parsed chat log to your computer, or copying it to the clipboard. We decided to make the program Open Source because we do not trust random programs from the internet and neither should you. The source code is available at https://github.com/AdvGTAW/GTAW-Log-Parser and we strongly encourage you to learn to compile the program on your own. If you trust us and do not wish to compile it yourself, we still encourage you to verify the downloaded file using the SHA256 hash found alongside the release. Features Automatic Backup The GTA World Chat Log Assistant not only parses chat logs at will, but also gives you the option to do it automatically after selecting a valid RAGEMP directory location. Enabling this feature is as simple as clicking on the "Automatic Backup Settings" option found on the menu bar and setting a backup directory. All of the chat logs will be neatly organized and you won't have to do a thing! This feature works great if you also enable the option that starts the program with your computer. Set it and forget it! Filtering Accessing the filtering menu is as simple as clicking on the "Filter Chat Log" option found on the menu bar. To get started, you can either load the current chat log that hasn't been parsed yet, or browse your file system for a chat log you parsed previously. There are two types of filtering, simple and advanced: Simple filtering implies using the checkboxes on the filtering screen to add or remove content Advanced filtering can be used in conjunction with simple filtering to filter for specific lines that contain sequences of words given in the indicated text box Known Issues As said before, RAGEMP does not offer a native chat log experience and we had to make our own. This system uses the local storage functionality of the client, which has the tendency to break randomly. In simple terms, the chat log is stored (almost) in the same way cookies are stored in your web browser. This is an issue with RAGEMP, not the GTA World Chat Log Assistant. To combat this we added an option that, when enabled, warns you when the same chat log has been backed up automatically 2 or more times. If you see this message you will have to delete the resource folder of the server (found inside RAGEMP/client_packages) to repair the chat logs. Lost chat logs cannot be recovered.

  8. I've role played in the confinements of jail and prison for over four years, and this is not the one. Way too restrictive of crime. You need to understand that we want crime to happen, we want people to break the law. These times are counter-productive, and deter people from engaging in general, cool role play under the pretense of those times. Think about the long-term effects these changes would have on the community, and criminal role players.

  9. Good day, I want to touch on those who work in the trucking industry but do not drive the trucks. I have been doing this for 8 months and have spent hours of my day rping these positions. I have worked in the office as an intern, HR, management, etc. I have held many positions as the company has grown. The only payment I had received while working in a corporate office is the little paychecks you get for 500 an hour. It wasn't until months later when I saw others getting paid for things that I started to question this. It's not a fair system. I worked so hard, spent all of my rp time working to improve the company, bringing in new recruits, signing contracts, showing them around, how to set up their uniform, how to use the radio and how to start their shift in the trucks. I rped every little thing. The short end of this process takes about 20 to 30 minutes but can sometimes take more time depending on how in depth the other wishes to rp. I would get exhausted because of the constant rp and ask someone else to take over. It's difficult knowing the extent of my rp and then walking into a bar and understanding that these individuals are able to use the /startshift payment system with minimal rp. Most of the time when I walk into bars some bar tenders are afk and it takes them a bit before they "see" you standing there. They take my order, prepare it with minimal rp and slide it over expecting payment and a tip. Which most get to keep, so on top of the 4000 an hour they get from /startshift they make their tips. Which is great pay for them. I'd like to see those who work in an office environment be able to make more than the 500 an hour auto checks we receive in game. A way to do this is simple, allow us to use the /startshift payment option. Have the range set inside the office. While they are inside the office, conducting interviews they are paid for their time. For me, this covers half of what I do as the first portion of the interview takes place in the office and the second takes place on the lot. If there is a way to set the script to a tag you must have in order to use the system that would allow one to not only be in office but be on the lot while earning the pay that would be even better. You could have it where if one leaves the area then the payment timer stops. Just suggestions that I do hope are useful for providing a way for those who are working hard and rping to be able to earn something decent.

  11. OOC Section The faction aims to portray a realistic organized crime group consisting of members with a Balkan background, and members are expected to be at their best behaviour at all times. We also do not limit characters eligible for joining to only Serbs. We accept any former Yugo, Bulgarians, Greeks or people from any other Balkan country. Creating a unique character concept, is critical. Do not expect any roleplay to be spoon-fed to you. You need to be able to create your own scenarios, not just expect from the leadership to give you things to do, and we also emphasize on you to properly develop your character according to what you're portraying. We do not fast-track rank anybody; everyone has to start from the beginning, and just roleplay, ranks will not be spoon-fed either. The main goal of this faction is to get back to the official status as it once was, and as such we will strictly require all the interested members to be on their best behavior and follow all the rules, rulebreaking will get you kicked from the faction. The leadership of the faction reserves the right to character kill any member or affiliate for any side-step they deem severe enough to be punished by death. If you need assistance with how to approach or interact with the faction, or just with creating a unique character concept that fits the standard, do not hesitate to PM @Escobar @Wazzap2004 for assistance with this. Or you can simply join our public discord, and read our channel on how to get started. Public discord: https://discord.gg/uGCZ63kPrZ

  13. History The Old Cronies began as friendship between a group in the Sandy Shores community who share the same passion for motorcycles. Each friend brought something different to the table, whether it be “Fat Phil” and his tow truck or “Jeb” and his expertise in first aid as hunting in the County isn’t easy when you’re 250 lb of pure American flesh being carried by 50 year old knees. Whatever you needed skills or otherwise the community came together and provided. Earl and Jebediah, two individuals with history in the “biker” scene sought to create a Club for those within Sandy Shores giving people who you’d see as Eccentric, Undesirables or outcasts a home furthering their itch to restore part of their old lifestyle. After a long hiatus in the dirt roads of Sandy Shores, the two began gathering other like-minded individuals who didn’t share the values of the 99%. This group came to be known as the first chapter of the Old Cronies Motorcycle club, the name which stems from their beginnings as a group of friends who were always there for each other, resembling a family. A family which happens to be filled with bastards, lunatics, unique individuals and eccentrics all qualities which are much too familiar in the community of Sandy Shores. They roam the County and keep to themselves. Known for their long hair and beards, unclean and very unruly. Often viewed as an offensive presence by the higher echelons of San Andreas. Home To some Sandy Shores is a place they’d prefer to visit by driving past it on the highway, it isn’t the prettiest sight. Though “Home” can blind that fact and the Cronies love it. The Cronies are fully integrated into the local community and you’ll often see them doing charity rides to help those in need within Sandy whilst promoting a good image for themselves. The Cronies know the roads like the back of their hand, and as they already were known by the locals membership has surged. If you’ve heard of the Cronies then you’ve certainly heard of their parties, they go hand in hand, Cronies love to party. They have been known to throw a trailer bash or two, some arguing that Jeb’s place is the party capital of Sandy. No toilets are in service. 14. Short description: Trucking Additions. Detailed description: First off, I want to say compared to the previous system, the last revamp has been a major improvement and livelier. While a part of the community still perceives the job to be extremely grinding oriented without any flavor, I can say it’s not bad as some make it to be. That said, I’ll go on with a few additions and tweaks that would really help this take up a notch. • More Subtasks. The spectrum of a union based job like trucking goes far beyond simply driving from point A to point B. At Fairheart, we’ve tried introducing more jobs like desk-based jobs such as maintaining all the records, keeping track of who’s doing how, supervisions, cleaning and maintenance of the lot, the building, as well the fleet. Allowing /startshift payments for individuals working at the depot for jobs like these would be one major help to this issue. • Driver Based Tracking. Currently, although the /startshift command works for the trucking script, it’s safe to say there is no purpose or intent behind it. It doesn’t pay, which I figure it was never meant to, though it does show the time somebody’s been doing shifts. Again, as soon as you leave the vicinity of a depot, the time is no longer tracked. And I can safely say this too, time tracking will never work for the script even if the range was removed, because one may drive around with a fleet vehicle and do anything they wish. The solution to this? Having a track of the number of deliveries completed by each trucker during the week, and perhaps the amount of money they made to the firm and themselves from their contribution. This will give a clear insight to the upper half of the chain, leaving room for incentives, promotions and so on. • Bugged Location Reporting. I’ve figured while the PM sets up the custom item and businesses scripts, though in the process there’s a few locations where delivery points are not accurately set. A number of such locations have been unreachable, letting the entire run down the drain. A simple thread or a process to report such spots would be extremely handy, so concerned admins can fix it as soon as possible. • /lastdriver for managers. Often times for some reason or the other, one may leave vehicles lying somewhere. IRL obviously people log the vehicles leaving the depot with and sign papers. For the game, we have them radio what plate and vehicle they're leaving with. There are cameras at most of the depots too, so we would realistically be able to figure out who drove the vehicles last, to prevent and figure who's behind some misuse (if any). These are just a few things I touched up on and thought would be a major help, I'll tag @Chuck Lee since you've been at this longer and may have more to add. How would your suggestion improve the server? The suggestions will certainly bring more essence to this line of roleplay.

  15. Hey everyone, It has been quite a challenging month for everyone, and April will remain difficult for the entire world. We hope that we're bringing you all some enjoyment wherever you can be and we're all proud to be supporting you in these moments. Stay safe and same goes for your families ? As you can see, it allowed the development team and myself to be quite active these past days. We've got major updates coming in the next days, and today's new customization options was just a beginning. The server stability is also drastically improving as I spent my entire month analyzing statistics and functions surrounding each crashes to find out the issues. This week in average was way more stable (apart from yesterday after my main changes ? ) and it should keep improving, our goal is to reach an average of 24 hours uptime by the end of next week. Congratulation to all the new members of the staff team, and to these who were promoted. 17. I'll lock this since this video is just a devblog. Not what the feature will exactly be, and it's written under the announcement. Write it again once it's released. Some information here: 1) You cannot buy cars without an employee being here 2) You need to confirm or deny each sales when someone is clicking on it 3) There is a record of sales in the business page 4) Spawning a car from a dealership is possible, and you can do whatever you want with it, we're working on a potential coming back of the command that prints a label over the car to sell it too so you can mix both

  20. Currently the rule changelog is a bit vague. Like, "X rules has been updated". It would be great if when a rule gets changed, the post in the changelog would look something like this. This would allow for players to clearly see new things added to rules when something like that changes.

  23. Hello, Being a fellow residential avgeek, I'm very much in favor of your suggestion. The prices are too high and prohibit a sizable group of people from adding a large element to GTA World. As it stands, it is nothing but a money sink. Aircraft are viewed as "status items" and that's as far as the topic goes. However, in recent months, GTA World has seen a large increase in aviation role play. Sadly, it is restricted by these exorbitant prices. Truly, it is constricting a large facet of legal role play that GTA World could only benefit from. Just like every other part of our in-game world, everything is governed by our in-game rules. There are already basic laws and rules that encompass in-game aviation. If you buy, operate, or otherwise use an aircraft unrealistically, you will be punished (both in character and out of character). I know from prior experience that the LSPD's Air Support Division (and the developing LSSD's air support division?) is more than competent in peculiar aircraft investigation. Similarly, the administration team is also capable of pointing out unrealistic character action or portrayal. Reducing the prices to make aviation more accessible would not detriment the quality of GTA World in any way, so long as everyone does their fair share. When it comes to the pilot license, it most certainly is too expensive. Again, it is a money sink. However, operating an aircraft without a license is only a misdemeanor. It was not until recent that law enforcement began to enforce this law more heavily, for which I am thankful. PLM has investigated situations far less damning in the past, so keeping a subtle eye on players in aviation shouldn't be much of a problem. It would be prudent for licenses to be cherished, and very well guarded. So, making "flying without a license" a felony would be more of a deterrent, considering it would be a mandatory go-to-jail-not-for-free card. All things considered, lower aircraft and pilot license costs would not harm the in-game economy or aura in any way. More so, it would add a very interesting and entertaining role play element to our large world. It would be up to law enforcement and the administration team to ensure realistic operation and ownership. However, being a "smaller" facet, it would not add much more to anyone's plate. Moreover, it would be in the hands of law enforcement. And, with my aforementioned Air Support Division experience, I can say that they'd be MORE than happy to intercept aircraft that aren't conforming to the law. With certainty, this would make it more enjoyable for both law-abiding pilots and airborne law enforcement. There would be no harm in lowering the cost of aircraft or pilot licenses. Inquire within if you'd like more information...

It would help out a lot if we got some different styles for the African American characters, including fixing some of the hair tattoos to make some of the hairs coils/curls match correctly so it wont look so irregular. Some suggestions for African American hair and tattoos can be: Box braids: Waves: Other dread / or curly haired styles: If you guys can make the hair tattoos match the hair that would be great, prob was already a suggestion but yea.

  31. This is something that I've noticed happening every now and then, not speaking about one specific individual situation but more situations in the course of weeks. House alarms or emergency calls for a break-in at a certain property is something not unusual on this server. Hell, even emergency calls from concerned citizens that spot suspicious behaviour. Whenever I notice a situation like that, a lot of officers respond which is very obvious, but what I have also noticed is that tactical teams are responding as well, in their full gear (BDU's, helmets, vests) and either stick around on scene or do an actual breach. And specifically at the last one I attended, even spike strips were laid out. In my opinion, this comes over very overkill and have heard from community members that they share the same opinion. I'm not trying to correct you or tell you what to do but is there something the LSPD can do to lessen this? In real life, house alarms or burglaries are most of the time investigated by regular law enforcement officers who speak with the owner if present, look for any signs of break-ins and then breach the house themself if they have reason to. Rarely have I seen tactical units roll up and breach.

  32. Ultimately whatever copy of GTA V you purchase is to your discretion, none of the DLC, shark-card/micro-transactions you purchase related to GTA V/GTA Online matter when it comes to getting onto the server, if you don't mind spending the extra few bucks and also plan on playing GTA Online? It's up to you. The Steam copy is probably the better option of the two when it comes to Steam/Rockstar, so if you do buy on a key-reselling site, you should go for the Steam copy.

  33. That would be difficult to track as GTAW doesn't have any API that the public can access. So I don't really have any way of seeing which businesses are open at what time. The average is usually a pretty good indicator of what a 'normal' day would look like. I had a plan on doing averages based on days of the week but that wouldn't be for a little while as that'd require a fair amount of programming. Definitely something I'd be interested in though. As another update: As the server growth has been insane the last couple weeks, I've just added in another feature where if the player count goes higher than the current highest number it will update the graph instantly. Before, it was only taking datapoints every ten minutes so if the player count got above the current highest within that 10 minute span and went back down again, it wouldn't be recorded as the new highest. This should be resolved now.
