  1. Short description: A selection of lore-friendly low-medium range cars, motorbikes and vans. Detailed description: Okay so we all know that when cars are added to the server, a lot of the time they're of the higher end. But it would be nice to see more low-medium range cars added. So I've spent the time to look at multiple possibilities that I feel would make nice additions to the server and create more variety for players. This is purely a list for MODS, not base game cars to be added. I know a few will say "no, add base game cars instead of more mods" but for whatever reason, they haven't done that as of yet. SUV and Pickups Vapid Contender (Replacement) - So this mod replaces the current Contender which, if I'm honest is overpriced for what it offers and there are near enough little to no modifications that can be added to it. Dundreary Landroamer Vapid Executioner Vapid Sandking SWB - Another possible replacement, or can be added as a standalone. More diversity and options for players to buy low-medium range vehicles. Additional information: I know, another car thread, rather than having multiple threads maybe we could get this one locked and keep it updated, for the modders and admins to look over. I have not personally looked at each and every one of these cars in game, due to the time that this has gone up, but I'm more than happy to check them out myself, with other players or the modding team to determine whether they are of good quality.

  2. Introduction: Growing up in Rancho wasn't as hard as we thought it would be at first... Since pops made it through the selection process for a unit in the projects, I didn't realise how gang infested the area was until I hit around thirteen. Sometimes you just can't help but notice how heavy the activity is. Pops never really trusted me with kicking it with other homeboys from the block, he'd always ask who's this and who's that, snoop around my shit being over protective and all that. But you know, nobody stays the same, he changed after mom died, stopped caring all of a sudden, I get it though, I did too for a while. Her death came outta nowhere, nobody expected it but we all got over it with time, except him. Crib felt more lonely as time passed, at some point I started going outside alot more, met kids my age and got along with most of them. Every now and then we'd notice a big homie riding down the street in a cool whip and a perfect chick, ballin an all that. We'd talk about it, you know, that's what being "cool" meant to us back then. We all had dreams, we all wanted to be like those "big homies" on the block, we just didn't know what it takes to get there. My brain never really thought past school. Book I: Fourteen Chapter 1: JC Justin, or JC was one of the people I got along with back then, he was young too and none of us were blind, it's not like he hides his ink or anything. Oh man, this dude was BAD influence, sometimes he tries to encourage me and the other kids to do shit like bang up a wall, nothing too heavy. It was all fun and games, and if you didn't tag along? You'd just be a loser and a lame in your friends' eyes and obviously no kid my age wants that. I remember the first time he put a couple of spray cans in my backpack, he told me specifically what I was supposed to ruin the walls with, so I did. Maybe I had no idea what the fuck the words meant, or maybe I just didn't care as much as I should have. Running down the alley after being spotted by a cruiser made me feel a little scared I'm not gonna lie, but the excitement hit hard after I was safe back on the block. I never got this much attention from an official before in my life, this was the first time. Chapter 2: Their reasons Luis and Brycen. These two were my closest friends. Luis was the smart one, he'd always think five times before he does something, which made him the lamest because he always plays it safe when it comes to anything that could be dangerous. Brycen on the other hand didn't give two fucks about danger, he was young and a bad influence too. There's only a few reasons for somebody to ride, some are born into it, some are doing it for home support, and some kids just have no guidance. With us it was a little different. While young around a gang you tend to like fashion and expensive things, we weren't introduced to drugs by the high-ups yet so we could get the things we like. You could notice from the way we talked that we wanted to be "cool" too, find somewhere to fit in, we felt as if being in a gang would've made us better than anybody who isn't. Maybe we didn't have the balls to reach out though, or maybe we were just scared. After all, this is just talk, we're so fucking young and, us in a fucking street gang? ...Nah that's crazy. Chapter 3: Marcia Growing up on the block brainwashed all of us when it came to Surenos, we believed everything we heard from the side of the greenlit gang without hearing the other side of the story. We've grown to hate them more and more as time passed, it became a habit at some point. I was once on my way to the clothing store in Strawberry, that's when I met Marcia. She was a street worker from Chamberlain, a Sureno hood. She was fucking crazy, man. Public indecendy was her kink, I guess... She kept texting me after we first met and I wasn't really interested, so I decided to share the conversation with Brycen. He suggested that we rob her, said it'd be "cool" and "gangster". I never robbed someone before, I mean... so many things can go wrong, right? I'm already nervous. It went surprisingly well, my mind took a while to process it though... And when Brycen emptied her shit on the table? It was more than what pops gives me in six fucking months. Chapter 4: Lin and her niner I never understood Linette, me and the boys had a theory that she might be a vampire when we were younger. She got a baby in the house, not sure if it's her sister's or whose it is, but what I knew is that she kept a gun in the house for safety. Me and Brycen had that "Guns are cool guns are gangsta!" mentality. We visited her and she showed us her gun... It was the first time I held a gun, Brycen's first time too probably. We posed in front of my phone's camera with it like the dumbasses we were, I was a little uneasy around it I won't lie, but holding a gun for the first time obviously made us feel powerful, even though we were joking around and trying to act all gangsta and goofed around it alot, we respected how lethal the firearm was. Chapter 5: Maybe step it up a little After that thing with Marcia. We really appreciated how much cash we got from her, we enjoyed it all, spent it on clothes, food, video games, all that fun shit. We wanted to do it again, it seemed like easy money, who doesn't like money? But our ignorant asses didn't think about the risks. We robbed somebody else a few days later, this time we both had knives and the man might've had a bulge on his waist. We took his expensive watch and some cash, Brycen was pleased, we parted ways and I went home, took some time to finally think about the risks, what if the man had a gun and we slipped? What if he shot us and we lost our lives for a few papers and a watch? Made me think back of when Linette let me hold her gun. Imagine how easier it would be if we had straps instead of four inch blades?

  3. Levon Gasparyan (Born January 22nd, 1995) is a 25 year old criminal figure of Armenian heritage. Born in Los Santos, San Andreas; Levon has spent his entire life living in the neighborhood of Morningwood, Los Santos. The community, Widely referred to as Los Santos’ Little Armenia, is home to a modern age organized criminal enterprise known as Armenian Power or West Side Armenian Power Gang (W/S AP Gang). Levon, known by associates as “L” has been associated with the gang since his youth, having been drawn to the criminal lifestyle by his brother, Armenian Power lieutenant Vardan Gasparyan. Levon was born in January 1995 to a lower middle class family, his father Igor Gasparyan was a mechanic while his mother, Isabelle Gasparyan worked as a seamstress. Both his parents had immigrated from Armenian in the early 80’s, looking for a better life for his older brother Vardan. Levon was never much like his brother and the two seemed to have walked different paths since birth. While Levon excelled in school his brother fell behind, turning towards the streets the older they became. Beginning in his teens Levon worked at the Morningwood General Store, rising to the position of manager by the time he started his freshman year at ULSA. Levon, a kid who had skated through life on the bare minimum; who had breezed through highschool without even studying for a test. Was not prepared for college. The new found freedom from living under his parents roof mixed with a new found love of girls and liquor had completely changed his priorities in life. And not for the better. By the winter of that year Levon had been academically suspended from ULSA and would not be welcome back for the spring term. Returning to his old stomping grounds in Morningwood he resumed working at the Morningwood General Store, it was during this time that Levon began associating with his old brothers friends and Armenian Power associates, Arman Vartanian and Gevork Karayan. Levon had returned to the neighborhood at a troubling time, recent friction between members of W/S Armenian Power and members of Russian organized crime led Levon to being kidnapped by Russian criminals attempting to extract information about the gang's criminal activities. Unbenounced to them Levon was not involved in any of the gangs activities however they continued to torture him, leaving him with a cigarette burn on the left side of his neck. Following this traumatic event Levon began struggling with PTSD and a depressive episode most likely caused by a lack of treatment and an overall stigma surrounding mental illness in the Armenian community. Nevertheless, due to a spiraling relationship with his brother and a craving for recognition from older members of W/S AP Levon began actively pursuing a life of crime. Leveraging his position at the Morningwood General Store to install a fraudulent credit card terminal on behalf of Armenian Power figure head, Rouben “Camel” Sevacherian. This began a slow but steady rise for Levon within the Armenian organized crime enterprise that law enforcement has dubbed The Yuzbashyan-Sevacherian Organization. A rise that has seen Levon expand his criminal activities from petty theft and financial crimes to arms dealing and drug trafficking. Links: Vardan Gasparyan W/S Armenian Power Rouben Sevacherian

  4. Michael Son Michael Son (born Son Min-chul; January 26, 2002) is an 18-year-old Korean-American orphaned teenager. He was aged-out of the American foster care system, resulting in his descent into poverty and consequent homelessness. Michael Son was left in the care of a foster home at the age of six after his mother was deported to South Korea following a case of migrant smuggling. Michael does not have any family, or any that he knows of at this point in time, living in Los Santos. He is commonly seen around the Little Seoul and Vespucci areas looking to make a living.

  5. This thread will follow the development of Mateo Cabrera, a 16 year old kid with nowhere to call home after running away from his current foster family. Short, skinny & full of child-like innocence, he attempts to survive on the brutal streets of LS with nothing but a couple of bucks and some of his very important belongings (e.g. his favourite spiderman poster.)

  6. Written by: Callie Palencia Written on: 12/03/2020 LSNN first reported on the rampant crime in Twin Towers Correctional Facility a few days ago where Charlotte Dixon was brutally murdered by Roberto Molina in a open yard, while his acomplaces aided him in his brutal act. Today the courts bring us some hopeful news, despite the screaming match after the sentence was submitted, Roberto Molina has been charged with First Degree Murder, and will remain in prison for an additional 20 months. In a trial that lasted 6 days, a quick one, considering the charges against him, Roberto Molina changed his plea to guilty and gave a brief statement to the court, in his statement "I am truthfully regretful of my actions against Mrs. Dixon that resulted in her untimely demise. I realize now that what I did was foolish and very cruel to snatch away a persons life in such a violent manner. I ask you to take pity on me with your sentencing, your honor. That is all." The prosecution wasn't very convinced by his comments and issued a quick rebuttal "Your honor, we would like to reiterate our points. The defendant has showed clear indifference to the value of human life. We would like to remind the Court yet again that Mister Molina has already been convicted of first degree murder. Here he is yet again, facing another first degree murder charge after ruthlessly and brutally butchering the victim while being held in a correctional facility for the exact same crime. As the victim was being held in a chokehold, Mister Molina continuously stabbed her. Over and over and over and over, with no mercy to spare" The judge ultimately disagreed with Roberto and said he didn't believe his statement, issuing his ruling of 20 months in prison with a considered parole after 2 years along with several points. Shortly after the judgement Roberto exploded in a rage filled rant, threatening to murder the Judge and the Prosecutor. He was screaming and kicking as he was dragged out of the court by the Deputies to be taken back to Twin Towers Correctional Facility. The judge responded by demanding the prisoner out and provided a Deputy escort for the Prosecuting District Attorney. The full case documents can be located online. #ad

  7. I see nothing wrong with acknowledging that it's a thing happening in the world, and subsequently RPing either the concern, panic or even apathy associated with it. Stick to your character's mindset and how you believe they'd react. We've made the decision to not allow any cases, and because this is an OOC decision, characters can still carry on with that fear of something they believe to be very real to them even though we all know OOC nothing will come of it.

  11. I think the guide is more or less saying after the tema (agreeing that the individual wouldn't see the guy's sister anymore) things could get violent if the terms were broken. This guide is talking about Armenians, but more so Armenians involved with a gang lifestyle within California.

  12. Hmmmm, should get their attention to make it an official rule then and announce it via some IG notification too, because a lot of people never look at forums. Thanks for informing me guys, hopefully the administration team can come with a clear instruction and announcement if we can at least roleplay concern/fear and cautions, or we can't RP the existence world-wide of the Virus in words. At least me personally, have been avoiding crowded places and Korean/Italian businesses IG until the time that we speak, to roleplay fear as I had no idea of the OOC discussions going on forums.

  13. One discussion just finished about corona virus in server. If there is no Corona in server, then there is no awareness about it and no measures. Only makes sense.

  14. Indeed I have. In February I RP-ed a tooth infection.

  15. Pointless? I find it quite sane and realistic to avoid crowded places while there's an epidemic in your nation, and also avoid people who potentially have a travelling history to countries with a big spread of the disease. Always, unless you are roleplaying an ignorant or careless character.

  22. ^^ of all of the responses I would agree with jcat the most. For me the defining factor between the different levels of roleplay is the level of consistency, thought and immersion to the roleplay. One of the things that bothers me is that a lot of people equate heavy rp with "hyper realistic" rp. I don't think it has to be a real life stimulator to be heavy or serious rp. I think heavy rp should have a clear setting and that the roleplay and characters should be well thought out and executed within that setting to uphold the standard of integrity and immersion. I think that fun story telling requires a certain amount of imagination and freedom that isn't necessarily accurate to how it would occur Irl. As long as the roleplay reflects the setting, physics and consistency it can still be high quality even if it isn't a carbon copy of real life. Think tv show episodes versus irl. Mostly believably but with enough freedom to be entertaining.
