  1. Over recent years, prominent Facebrowser groups and other social media embarked have been serving as a major influencer for the street-racing community. Every stunt, flex, skid mark, brake screech and the screaming whistle of a turbocharged engine presented records a significant increase in the street-racing population. Social media platforms expand the proximity of the population from as far away as Vinewood Hills and Grapeseed, earning reputation and popularity among other enthusiasts. Challenges being spewed across regional rivalries on being more aggressive, inclining to perform dangerous stunts or turn aggressive and reckless. As awareness is peaked, the larger the growing community of an online street-racing influencing group, the more feasible it is to involve a greater crowd sharing equal interests. (Los Angeles Times, 2020) As darkness canvas the streets of San Andreas, two headlamps of each machine shine through to sleepless night. Cars lining up two at a time preparing to embark on an adrenaline-filled rush over a bet at stake, killing the night’s sleep by taunting with the heavy roaring of the engines and the sounds of people chanting through the night until the cry of “Cops!” is echoed through the vocals of each individual. Anxiously kicking everyone in motion to mount into their cars and leaving the scarred skid marks behind. The night isn’t dead as everyone cautiously waits for the alert on their social media account with the updated location of the next gathering unless the scene had been compromised to which they are prompted to call it a night. A man would be at the back of a fleeing vehicle, typing on their phone to enlighten every one of the statuses. Revealing the next location, having most of the racers and influencers reassembled. “The more outrageous the acts that are captured on these videos, the more notoriety that they get,” “A lot of these individuals will try to get themselves stopped for something very minor so they can air it ... just to add to their fan base.” “They just have one guy who is the organizer and he’s followed by a bunch of people and he’ll post, ‘Hey, next spot is at this street, be quick about it,’” “Anyone can be an organizer as long as you’ve got enough followers,” “The problems are the ones on Facebrowser where they invite everyone and their mother and their mother’s friends,” “It just hypes up the other groups to come out more often and kind of show that this is how we do it here in L.S.,” Quotes are taken from: Los Angeles Times. (2020). Must-Reads: In L.A.'s street-racing scene, 'likes' and followers can be just as important as engines and tires.

  10. Full Name: Yoshikazu Nakamura Aliases: Kazu, Lil K Age: 22 Backstory: Yoshikazu Nakamura was born on the 19th of March 1998 to his parents Japanese-born immigrant Haru Nakamura and Second-Generation Korean Bak Jin-Ae (later Nakamura). Growing up in a predominantly Japanese ran household in the low-income residential housing facility on Magellan Avenu his father would beat his mother daily trying to make her a stay-at-home woman like an ordinary Japanese household would have. Seeing this Yoshikazu would seek protection and care from the locals around the neighborhood, but what he did not know was that the people he hung with were known affiliates of Asian Boyz a gang familiar to the area. During his teenage years, Yoshikazu would be involved with; Grand Theft Auto, Shootings and Beatings done on rivals but mostly other locals of the community who didn't show the respect he and other members of the gang demanded. When Yoshikazu made the age of fourteen his mother would then divorced his father and move back to the southern Little Seoul (K-Town) which Yoshikazu was sad about. He didn't speak the language many of the locals spoke. He was made fun of by the people living in the same apartment building as himself. Even the Mexicans poked fun at him, but after a year or two it would finally calm down and Yoshikazu would grow into the role of an Asian interracial divided between Japanese and Korean customs. His grandmother Jang-mi Jin-Ae would make sure that he studied the Korean language and culture so that he wouldn't be bullied by the other kids for not knowing the language. At the age of sixteen, he was arrested driving a stolen Emperor which landed him in the Juvenile detention facility of San Andreas for two years, by the time he came out the majority of his ''homies'' had been arrested or worst. Sooner or later Yoshikazu would find himself all alone once again.

  11. Farming, Hunting, Fishing and Food system Short description: A demand and supply circular economy based on food products with actual scripted effects and RP interactive jobs. The suggestion is simply to have the ability to create food products from farming, fishing, and hunting which will then be transported to restaurants and stores where these ingredients will be used to create different consumable recipes, which will satisfy the player's hunger and thirst. Detailed description: The food industry is a huge influencer in real life's economy. The fact that food doesn't have any effect pushes people away from RPing eating and impacts our economy heavily, as the only sources of depleting one's money in-game are taxes and insurance which are very little. A food system is much needed to help with the server's economy and this suggestion is especially aiming to do that while providing RP jobs that interact with each other in a circular economy. Before we get to the food system, these are the different methods to produce ingredients that will then be used to create food recipes. Farming (Fruits and vegetables): This part is pretty basic and was already explained more or less here by somebody else. This requires the addition of a farmer job and farm ownership just like a business. Farmers will have the ability to do different activities related to farming (planting grains, harvesting, picking fruits) which will end up in creating different food products, mainly fruits and vegetables. These products will be stored in the farmer's market to be sold for personal use or they will be transported by truckers to stores and restaurants. Hunting (Meat and chicken): I know there are some problems with hunting in RageMP or that's what some people say, I actually saw some servers having a working hunting system in Rage, but anyway, this suggestion is for the long term and it is not necessary for the entire food system to work. Basically, people will be hunting animals and taking meat out of them, which will also be transported by truckers to stores and restaurants. Fishing (Fish): We already have a fishing job. I have never tried it but I believe fish is being sold somewhere. These fish products will now be sold in the fish market. They will then be transported by truckers to restaurants. Food system: Basically, the food products that were produced from farming, hunting, and fishing will consist of different ingredients for different recipes. These ingredients (eg. meat, vegetables, fruits, fish) will be mainly used in restaurants to create different recipes and each recipe will satisfy the hunger and thirst of the consumer differently. Eating a steak is not the same as eating ice cream. Players will have hunger and thirst bars somewhere on the screen which will go down as time passes. The hunger and thirst bars will have four stages: STARVING -> HUNGRY -> FULL and THIRSTY -> SATISFIED. The bars should probably go down every 6 hours you play in-game. 6 hours is enough for players to finish RP situations and this will also make food a minor issue as I don't want this to become a survival game. When the bar goes down to STARVING and THIRSTY, there should be some visual effects to cause discomfort for the player which would urge him to go grab a bite. Eventually, if the hunger bar stays at "starving" for too long, perhaps this will cause stamina problems and eventually will drain the health bar. EDIT: As a lot of people have shown their concern about this being RPGish, and I agree with them completely, I decided to edit this part to be more representative of real hunger and thirst, following @DRUNKY 's excellent idea, by removing the HUNGER/THIRST BAR completely and replace it with occasional notifications similar to an SMS received message, which will appear whenever your character feels hungry or thirsty. Depending on the intensity of the hunger and the thirst, the frequency of the notifications would increase, alongside the aforementioned visual and stamina/movement inconvenience. Recipes and ingredients: There will be two types of recipes: NUTRITIOUS and UNWHOLESOME. The former will satisfy your hunger for 6 hours while the latter will only satisfy your hunger for one hour. Example: By using different combinations of the same ingredients, we create the following recipes: Ingredients: Meat, Fish, Fruits, Vegetables, Dough, Flour, Water, Wine, Pasta, Milk Recipes: Seafood Pizza (+90 hunger / +10 thirst): 1 Dough, 1 Flour, 1 Water, 1 Tomato, 1 Fish Salad (+70 hunger / +20 thirst): 2 Vegetables. Spaghetti with meatball (+90 hunger / +20 thirst):1 Meat, 1 Pasta Hamburger: (+80 hunger / +20 thirst): 1 Dough, 1 Water, 1 Meat, 1 Vegetables Milk Shake: (+0 hunger / +80 thirst): 2 Fruits, 1 Milk Water bottle: (+0 hunger / +90 thirst): 1 Water EDIT: I've given it some thoughts and I've seen how the server is progressing so I'm reshaping the recipes to fit the newest update. By using one of these ingredients, you could create customizable dishes: Alcohol: You could create any alcohol-based drink which is customizable to have a unique name to every bar/club. (e.g. Vodka, Martini...) Meat: You can create any meat-based meal with a customizable name. (Hamburger, Pork Chops...) Vegetables: You can create any vegetable-based meal with a customizable name. (Salad, some vegan food...) And the list goes on... Food in restaurants will generally be NUTRITIOUS. Restaurants should have a kitchen inventory for storing ingredients (/kinv). Only those with the "Cook" job can cook outside houses. The cook will be able to create different recipes and sell them to customers. Having nutritious food limited to restaurants will push people to visit restaurants from time to time to promote RPing with restaurant staff. Food in 24/7 stores should be limited to UNWHOLESOME food: biscuits, crackers, chocolate, etc. These products will be directly transported from the supplier to the stores. This type of food will only satisfy hunger slightly, pushing people to go to restaurants and fast-food chains. Food in houses: People should be able to buy food products from the farmer's market directly and some products from 24/7 stores also (e.g. milk..) for cooking food in their homes. Each house should have a kitchen inventory similar to those in restaurants but obviously with less space. Food carts/Food trucks: People who work at food carts will have to buy ingredients at the farmer's market, transport them in their car and store them in the "food cart kitchen" just like a restaurant. Recipes in carts and trucks will be NUTRITIOUS. Food in prison: Inmates will now also have the possibility to eat and drink in prison. Following the same system, ingredients will be transported to the prison where a prison cook will create food for the inmates. Food animations: There are a lot of eating and drinking animations that can be triggered when you /useitem a recipe. Commands to add: /cook [name]: to create recipes using ingredients from the kitchen's inventory. /kinv: to check the ingredients present in the kitchen's inventory. /recipes: to see all available recipes. Items to add: Recipes, ingredients, Farming Business, Fish Market, Farmer's Market, Kitchen inventory in restaurants, houses, prison and food carts. How would your suggestion improve the server? Realism, don't need to explain this more. Creating more RP opportunities and more RP jobs. More RP in the county. The difference in food items will now be important. Additional information:

  12. This NOT a suggestion to remove PKs, I am just going to state my opinion and I would love others to give theirs. I believe PKs should not be a thing, they always feel really awkward, and can really ruin roleplay. Only being able to CK upon dying would also make people actually fear their character getting killed and would, in turn, lead to a lot less of people acting as if they are invincible. I won't delve further into it than that. Discuss it freely down below, and please do not turn this thread into some sort of shaming contest, if you're going to make an example of an instance, don't include the person's name, this is not a witch hunt.

  24. As a general rule, in my opinion, I would recommend you keep your text concise and to the point. Longer sentences can often become cumbersome and unwieldy. This not only disrupts the flow of role-play — because longer messages take longer to produce — but it also creates communication difficulties. Avoiding verbose replies will maintain the flow of role-play, avoid confusion and make for more enjoyable reading. Once you create a long, convoluted message, it is then left on the other player to dissect what you have said, how you have said it nd what you are trying to convey — creating a long message makes the other player have so sit there and pause the role play to reply to your message, which in-turn creates a very long, awkward pause and as said above, disrupts the flow of the scene. I'm not opposed to upping it slightly, but five hundred words are not needed and instead, initiate creative writing and put effort into small doses of text, rather than a long, drawn out paragraph.

  25. The difference between medium and heavy roleplay is rarely the length of a /me. Detail is good in some cases, useless in most. I can write a 1200 character /me describing my character taking a breath, but it's unnecessary. I myself am guilty of unnecessary detail in some cases, but the current system doesn't make it any harder. I see no need for this, it's a no from me.
