  1. The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department We are excited to announce the fact that the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department will be starting operations on Sunday the 19th of January. The introduction of this faction brings many exciting opportunities to both criminal and county roleplayers alike. While the Sheriff's Department will be a law enforcement agency that aims to provide law enforcement roleplay in the county outside Los Santos itself, it also operates the brand new Twin Towers County Jail. The new County Jail allows for a total revamp of the criminal justice system on the server. Criminal roleplayers will now be able to spend their sentences in an environment that encourages roleplay, both between inmates and with Sheriff's Deputies. Aside from your basic cell block there will be opportunities to roleplay around the jail in environments like the yard and mess hall, there will be plenty of ways to spend your time and even work around the county jail. Not all inmate roleplay has to be restricted to the jail though, seeing we are excited to be hosting work parties around the state of San Andreas. Furthermore, the opportunity to be released early on Parole also exists. Although the County Jail may be a bit bare bones at first, we plan to introduce plenty of exciting new features to make the jail environment even better as we go on. The Sheriff's Department aims to bring the best possible jail roleplay environment to the criminal roleplayers of GTA World and it hopes to succeed in doing so. We hope you enjoy the County Jail! We also invite all future prison faction leaders to contact illegal FM to get your specific needs set up! The LSSD team

  3. This thread showcases the life & development of Joaquin "Bandit" Delgado. Bandit was born Joaquin Delgado, a 34 year old of Mexican heritage living in a rundown section of Los Santos; Jamestown. The area is widely known for their consistent crime & gang activity, although Joaquin invariably steered away from the path to a gang-banger. Due to the persistent shooting taking place between the local Jamestown gang and La eMe, Joaquin showed a tendency towards staying in-doors to commit to his tattooing and boxing vocation. It was inevitably a path of life or death; whether to carry out his practice or pledge to the rugged life of gang-banging and wage war alongside ill-advised teenagers whilst banking dirty drug money. Raised by Jorge Delgado, Joaquin never struggled with his relationship with his father throughout his childhood. His father's always been seen as an influential mentor, one who's been of great guidance in his jagged journey. Joaquin's aim was true, and was merely a sapling when he rode his first bike with sheer enthusiasm. The two managed to pull through financially, his father who worked as a full-time farmer in Grapeseed, Joaquin who slung candy around for every little penny. A roof over their heads, and food on the table. A common goal between the father & son to be achieved, albeit billing issues were a common occurrence throughout the years. Biking was a lifestyle of which his father truly cherished, one that was sincerely passed down to Joaquin. Biking, art & boxing; avocations that Joaquin highly values. Currently residing in the projects of Jamestown alongside his sister, Mayra Delgado, Joaquin calls in on his father who's settled in a retirement home regularly throughout the week. Games of chess, reading, television and story-telling. Moments that the two savor together; a father & son bonding. Joaquin has always been a mentor figure to Mayra. An introverted fifteen year old girl who looks up to her older brother. Times can certainly be rough for the two, even so they managed to pull through their monetary grapple. Joaquin raises Mayra in the neighborhood of Jamestown, in hopes of straying her away from the frenzied gang life. Bandit works extensive shifts in hopes to move out of the Jamestown area and settle elsewhere along with his younger sister. Although school has never seemed appealing to Joaquin, he's graduated from High School in ethics of his father's encouragement. His performance in art was exceptional, his steps progressively led to the field of tattooing. Only recently scoring a job in MayheM Ink, a tattoo shop located next door in Roy Lowenstein Boulevard, Joaquin has captured the local neighborhood's attention with outstanding tattooing performances and seeks prosperity. The employment has certainly bolstered his financial status, only to secure a permanent home in the Jamestown projects. Long hour shifts and heaps of appointments surged through. However, the income wasn't fulfilling. Joaquin participated in cage fights as a sideline vocation for supplementary cash, which led to a compact relationship between himself and his coach Wagner. Vespucci Sports' manager, Samuel Camastra was initially hesitant with Joaquin - given his ghetto background. He was given a shot regardless, his debut fight was in queue. His debut fight in the Vespucci Sports tournament led to a knockout victory, to which his opponent was sent to the hospital due to critical conditions. Camastra was struck with uttermost disbelief at the display, his doubts about Joaquin had perished. The results were certainly a motivational strike to Joaquin's determination for fighting. He was introduced to a group of motorcyclists by a mutual friend who branded themselves as a Motorcycle Club; Gravedwellers MC. The close-knit brotherhood, the parties, the roaring bikes and rides, the women - it all appealed to Joaquin. His eyes gleamed in great fondness, achingly determined to blend in and fly the reaper on his back. Presently a prospect of the club, Joaquin seeks to progress through the prospective stage; a proving grounds to validate your undying loyalty, value and resistance to the club. Striving to make it through and stand among the full members. Shockingly, things did take a turn. Throughout his prospective stage, Bandit managed to get along with very few people. A sense of bonding was lacking between himself and the majority of members - perhaps he didn't fit in. He felt out of place and was not quite fond of the principles he'd discovered throughout his time. Upon discovering a group of Vagos MC nomads in the state, a tight relationship was established between him and the group. Upon progressive build-up, Bandit agreed on handing his GDMC colors over in exchange for a position as a Vagos MC prospect alongside the establishing nomads. As a new road's been uncovered, Bandit is optimistic and committed to earning his full colors. Joaquin fit in impeccably with the group. The culture, ideologies and sense of brotherhood - he lingered to them all. The club was knit together by fierce comradery, a display that had drawn him in; brainwashed. Although, he was well aware of how the Vagos tackled obstructions. Sheer violence. For the duration of his time in the Vagos, Bandit has been involved in several stabbing incidents. It was merely a choice of adhere to the rules, or have his teeth stomped in. He took a toll to the outlaw path, somewhat aware that he's caught up in a route of savagery. Unfortunately, not aware enough to recognize it'll tarnish his balance of mind. His beliefs progressively took a turn, his sanity gradually seeping down the drain as the curtains unfold. Following his strained years as a prospect in the Vagos MC, Bandit finally patched in to the San Andreas Nomad chapter at the age of forty. He now remains as the chapter's Vice President.

  5. No this is really really really bad. The server has other issues and making things harder for everyone especially cops isn't the way to go. If the only argument is "to prevent metagame" then it's a bad one. This just trades a problem that can be solved to 5 others that can't be solved. Please revert this. I don't even know who's in my car at this point.

  7. Los Santos County Sheriff's Department From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia County of Los Santos Sheriff's Department Patch Badge of the LSSD's sheriff Flag Common name Los Santos County Sheriff's Department Abbreviation LSSD Motto "A Tradition of Service" Jurisdictional structure Operations jurisdiction Los Santos County, San Andreas, United States General nature Local civilian police Website www.lssd.org The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department (LSSD), officially the County of Los Santos Sheriff's Department, is a police force serving Los Santos County, San Andreas. LSSD is the largest sheriff's department in the United States and the fourth largest local police agency in the United States, following the Liberty City Police Department (LCPD), the Chicago Police Department (CPD) and the Los Santos municipal Police Department (LSPD). LSSD has approximately 18,000 employees, 9,915 sworn deputies and 9,244 unsworn members. The department's three main responsibilities are to provide municipal police services within Los Santos County, courthouse security for the Superior Court of Los Santos County, and housing and transportation services of inmates within the county jail system. The LSSD provides municipal police services to the unincorporated communities and 42 of the 88 cities within Los Santos County. In addition to its primary responsibilities, LSSD contracts with the Los Santos Metropolitan Transportation Authority and Metrolink, provides law enforcement services to ten community colleges, and patrols county parks, golf courses, special event venues, lakes, hospitals, and county facilities. LSSD provides services, such as crime laboratories, homicide investigations, and academy training, to smaller law enforcement agencies within the county and across the State of San Andreas. History The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department was established in 1850 shortly after the Mexican-American War. After the founding of the independent San Andreas Republic and the voluntary annexation by the United States, law enforcement was subsumed under the Los Santos Rangers (which became the Los Santos Police Department) and the Los Santos Sheriff. In the early 1900s, the Sheriff's Department officially became an actual institution of permanent individuals rather than the Sheriff and his posse. It was not until 1930 when deputies formally adopted uniforms and jails were administered by the Sheriff's Department. During the 1930s, the Sheriff's Department assisted the Los Santos Police Department in the "red squad" era, notably attacking the Socialist Party of America and breaking up union-organized events. In 1947, the Sheriff's Department hired the first female Deputy Sheriff within the nation. The 1950s to the 1970s saw the most turbulent era of operation within the Sheriff's Department, especially during the infamous 1961 Davis Race Riots. The Sheriff's Department assisted the LSPD in quelling the large-scale civil unrest, but it was one of the most massive events of the era up until the 1992 Jim Queen riots. Former Sheriff Peter "Pico" Collins headed the department from 2009 until his downfall in 2017. During Collins' reign corruption was rampant and close-knit deputy gangs were prominent. Within the ranks of the county's finest were individuals keen to oppress less fortunate individuals in the county jail system and rural towns. Following whistle-blower tips, an ACLU lawsuit brought down the Sheriff after the FBI took interest as part of their public corruption mandate. Pico and his Undersheriff were both sentenced to federal prison. Following a brief hiatus mandated by the Federal Department of Justice, Patrick Machado won the seat as Los Santos County Sheriff after a special election was held. Almost immediately after swearing into office, Sheriff Machado ordered the re-opening of the Twin Towers Los Santos County Jail to massively aid the growing overcrowding issue of the region's detention facilities. Misconduct Throughout the existence of the Davis Sheriff's Station, a multitude of controversies sprouted under the tenure of Sheriff Joseph Cline and Captain Damian Suarez. A variety of brutality, fraud, and deputy gang scandals tarnished the name of the sheriff's station, resulting in demonstrations occurring right outside the facility. One of which being the Davis City Council accusing the Department's executives of conning the City of Davis for contract hours, fabricating statistics about said hours being fulfilled. As a result of the riots on the 30th of July, 2022, a deputy at the Davis Sheriff's Station stepped forward to speak out about the alleged brutality claims found at the patrol station on the aforementioned date. Deputy Sarah Ostrowski went on a local news network, whistleblowing the fact that the station was institutionally corrupt, and permeated by violent deputy gangs. What stands out from this complaint is that it was all done by a deputy who worked at the station for over half a decade. Contract law enforcement The LSSD has entered into contracts with the numerous cities to serve as their police department/law enforcement agency. The Davis Police Department served the City of Davis and its unincorporated areas from 1906 up until the 14th of May, 1998. The Davis Police Department was disbanded by the Davis City Council as a result of the skyrocketing homicide rates that were left unattended paired with the significant controversies with local communities, multiple police brutality claims, and scandals involving the Department's executives. The premises of the old Davis Police Station was subsequently converted into a youth activities center in an attempt to combat the elevated homicide count conducted by minors. This center was in use prior to it shutting down in early 2000 due to the lack of funding for the program. Shortly thereafter on the 17th of September, 2000, the Davis City Council contracted with the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department to become the main municipal law enforcement agency for the City of Davis. The whopping 22 million dollars per annum paid by the City of Davis to the LS County Sheriff's is utilized in providing a variety of specialized teams and highly trained patrol deputies to serve Davis and its unincorporated areas. The Paleto Bay Sheriff's Station has been in use since 1958 when it was first founded to provide law enforcement services to the Los Santos County. Along with its substation in Sandy Shores, the station provides law enforcement services to a vast geographical area, including but not limited to: Paleto Bay, Mount Chiliad, Mount Gordo, Grapeseed, Raton Canyon, Sandy Shores, Grand Senora Desert, Harmony, Tongva Hills, Banham Canyon, North Chumash, Pacific Bluffs, Vinewood Hills, Richman, Del Perro, Rockford Hills, Vespucci, Little Seoul, Downtown LS, and Vinewood. Rank structure Title Insignia Sheriff Undersheriff Assistant Sheriff Division Chief Area Commander Captain Lieutenant Sergeant Deputy Sheriff (Master FTO) Deputy Sheriff Bonus I, Bonus II Deputy Sheriff Deputy Sheriff Trainee (Non-sworn) The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department is a faction based off of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, that seeks to emulate the often-overlooked facets of American Law Enforcement. The primary emphasis in membership with this faction is character development through realistic roleplay & portrayal, with a high standard to ensure quality retention.

  8. Short description: Add an extra two face-blend slots what can be used to change only the skin-tone of your character. Detailed description: Add two extra face-blend slots which only change the skin-tone of your character, this allows more variation on faces as you can use the first 2 to create the actual structure of your face/head whilst the third and fourth sliders will be used to adjust your characters skin-tone. For this to work the sliders of the first 2 will need to changed so they only change the facial structure to that of those faces, and the 3rd/4th will need to be made only to adjust the skin-tone of your character model; due to this the two blend sliders will also need to be altered so they are only connected to the correct sliders. Lastly I recommend that the sliders for face structure are changed to "Face Structure 1, 2" and "Skin-tone 1, 2" just for ease of access. Commands to add: None, just two new sliders to the surgery menu. Items to add: None, just two new sliders to the surgery menu. How would your suggestion improve the server? This suggestion will improve the server as it will allow a wider range of faces, this is because we won't necessarily have to dedicate one of our face slots to get the correct skin-tone. Additional information: I've seen this used before in another RageMP roleplay server and it works really well and creates some more variety in character faces. Thus I believe that it would be a good thing to have in our own server.

  11. The current state of facebrowser is very slow. Like it's very laggy atm. Takes around 30 seconds to refresh. I'm on 20mbs internet, it should be fast. I also used VPN but it's still lagging like shit. FB Devs recently wiped out the posts and chats but seems like it's not really helping? I guess it's the 'bad' host? People are donating IC'ly for all those perks and I think the money should be really used on better host.

  12. Short description: Allow players to share their car keys to other people by giving other people access to your vehicle via /vget. Detailed description: Vehicle sharing is basically impossible unless the owner is online to do the temporary /vdup solution. It'd make much more sense and bring more realism if players could share the key of the vehicle to someone else so they can spawn and despawn the vehicle without the owner being online. This would really be useful for players who RP as a couple that wants to share their cars or for friends who need a temporary car from a good buddy. This would also allow criminals who have stolen a car and the key to be able to drive it anytime they want thus bring more RP for them and law enforcement to find stolen vehicles. The menu could work like this: Maybe another nice touch would be to let the owner of the vehicle know when the vehicle has spawned. For example, you try to spawn your car by doing /vget but turns out your wife is already driving with it. It should give you an output like: This vehicle cannot be spawned as it is already spawned by another player. Shouldn't say the name of the player to prevent MG. Commands to add: /vduplicatekey [VIN of the vehicle] [ID/Name] + /vRevokeKey [VIN of the vehicle] [ID/Name] to revoke someone's key when near the person. Items to add: Just the two commands will do. keys for the inventory would be nice, but that should be another suggestion. How would your suggestion improve the server? I would improve realism and bring more opportunities to players that are RPing a close relationship and want to share the cars to their partners or players who own a small business and want their friends to be able to drive their vehicles while the owner is offline. Criminals who have stolen the vehicle along with the key will be able to drive the stolen car to do a robbery or try to chop it without the need to involve admins to have the car spawned back (even after server crashes). Additional information: Only owners of the vehicle itself should be able to duplicate the key. I don't think this suggestion would be very hard to script so I'm hoping this suggestion will be accepted and I can't wait to see it implemented in the server. Excuse any typos. I wanted to write and post it real quick.

  13. Some people asked me in the past how to edit screenshots, so I decided to write up this guide on how I do them. Step 1 - Take a screenshot of the scene using F7 to hide the HUD and chat. Hide contents Step 2 - Take a screenshot using /blindfold. The command /blindfold, will make your screen go black and only show up the chat. Hide contents Step 3 - Open Photoshop. Open all the images you want to edit and create a new file with the size you would like. Usually I do them 900x500. Drag the Step 1 image to that new 900x500 file and crop it like you want. Hide contents Step 4 - Crop the chat from the step 2 image and paste it there. Hide contents Step 5 - Crop the chat from the step 2 image and paste it there. Hide contents Step 6 - Open the Blending Options and drag the bar until the black area disappears and only the chat remains. Hide contents Step 7 - Convert the chat layer to smart object and apply a stroke style. Hide contents Step 8 - Drag the chat and that's it. Hide contents

  17. I think that everyone should have a unique ID (just like how /mask works), above there heads. only /ADMINS/ will know who the actual players are. So let's say (ID_82) = /showplayer 82 = Alex Davidson And in the players menu (O) ID's aren't supposed to show. Only the names.

  21. Because the game has updated multiple times and you're using an old NVR version probably? I haven't bothered patching NVR to the new version since I do not use it, however if you really want to overhaul your graphics I'll link a custom Redux that is patched currently to the 1.50 version of the game. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1x9t3D2IrxLpv9fbrKzeCT26wTN1-p-T2

Well too bad you can't report them since you don't know who the hell it was. There was no issues as how it was before, so changing it back would make it easier for everyone.
