  2. This has been a highly requested tutorial, keep in mind this is only for the creation of add-on mods, these do not change direct game files, they are simply dragged to the 'dlcpacks' folder of the server on your Rage-MP directory, mostly for re-texture mods. Tools required: OpenIV, download here; ArchiveFix, download here; Base add-on files, down here; The mod itself, I used this one as a test example: Mod. I recommend creating a new folder where you'll be working on the following steps, once everything is downloaded and ready. Keep in mind: The base files provided for the add-on creation will only work for textures, for such things as vehicle models or weapon models, you'll need other base files as they will not use textures.rpf most likely, take a look here and download according to your needs or the all-in-one package, the process however is the same as shown, this will work also for the so blessed nipple mods everyone keeps asking me over and over for another variant, you can now do it yourself and stop asking, since they're basically textures. 1 - Extract the mod to a working directory for easy management and move the dlc.rpf from the base add-on files to a new location and open it with OpenIV so you can start the process. 2 - With OpenIV open the dlc.rpf and navigate to the textures.rpf, this is where you'll drag all files, don't forget to enable edit mode on top. 3 - Drag the texture files inside now, once done go back and drag the textures.rpf out of OpenIV, then proceed to delete it from OpenIV. 4 - You should now have the textures.rpf file at the directory, just drag it on top of the ArchiveFix.exe, you should get a command line output that the file was encrypted. 5.1 - Now re-add the textures.rpf file back to the OpenIV inside the dlc.rpf we were working on once it's encrypted just drag it back inside the x64 directory. 5.2 - Go all the way back to the root of the dlc.rpf in OpenIV, you'll need to edit both the .xml files inside. 6 - Change accordingly to what you're going to name the folder where the dlc.rpf will be stored, can be anything, don't forget to hit 'save' once you're done. 7 - Disable edit mode once you're done, and drag the dlc.rpf on top of the ArchiveFix.exe just the same way you did with the textures.rpf. 8 - Create the folder according to what you named the mod on the .xml files, drag the dlc.rpf inside, and you're done, just drag the folder to the dlcpacks of the server you wish to connect.

  3. Plain text: There’s something to be said about a venue having a theme and committing to it. In the sea of samey bars and clubs in Los Santos, the Reef Surf Bar is a refreshing change of pace, and you’ll notice right when you walk in. Reef boasts an interior completely unique from any I’ve seen during my time in Los Santos. A light blue theme pervades the spot, and everything about the venue says casual, comfortable, and fun. The beach bar vibe is strong and it hits you right as you walk through the door. Large rocks are placed throughout the room, adding to the oceanic feel, along with a floor depicting an underwater scene, beautifully designed. There is ample seating with tables for guests as well as a fully stocked bar. The spot has a pool table and a beer pong table. I haven’t played beer pong since college and unfortunately wasn’t able to stay long enough to get a game in last night. However, I think this just, once again, adds to the relaxed atmosphere Reef is obviously going for. Upon entering I ordered a rum and coke, and the bartender had no issue making the drink. As I stated in my last review, this might seem ‘standard’ but in LS it just isn’t. A lot of bartenders don’t know their liquors from their beers or their mixers from their liquors. It’s good to be able to go to a spot, order a simple drink, and have it served competently. A strange luxury in LS. The bartender was friendly and courteous. He took the time to come to our table and ask if we needed topped off. You don’t see this kind of customer service at a lot of spots in LS. Like the rest of my experience with Reef, it was refreshing. I’d love to write a paragraph outlining some gripes with the bar here. I typically would, and as an avid nitpicker it breaks a small piece of my heart to say that I’ve nothing but positive things to say about Reef. I will most certainly be visiting again, and regularly. My attempts at gauging public opinion on the state of LS’s nightlife scene has resoundingly amounted to one uniform want from the people – variety. Do yourself a favor and check out Reef. I think it’s got the variety we need. I won’t be adding numerical ratings to spots I review from here on out. Instead I’ll simply give a recommendation to check the place out, or a recommendation to not waste your time and money. Reef certainly gets a firm recommendation from me. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

  4. I'm going to answer this before locking the thread since it's now going on a completely different subject and I already answered before. Let me explain you how the France tax system works, I am an auto-entrepreneur due to the various laws that prevents me from opening a full SARL which would allow to me to pay for the cost out of taxes, due to the fact that is his not my main job and it's not supposed to be, as I already have a full job. So I have to pay for 100% of the cost with the AFTER TAXES revenues. On 100€ you purchase, the server receives approximately 35€ (platform fees, 20% VAT, 25% company tax, 30% on my own revenue taxes). On these 35€ remains to pay the various licenses (teamspeak, forum, various webservices used), game server that is one of the most expensive at OVH due to the amount of bandwith and CPU required to fight DDoS attacks and 200 players reconnecting at the same time, 3 web servers including an expensive one to host all services during DDoS attacks (actually still ongoing), and various developments tools / books / resources I pay. On summer 2017 alone, it was more than 10 000€ spent building a full new architecture and constantly switching servers to fight a massive and targeted DDoS attack by a spanish hacker, which was just before GTAW EN/US opening and we fought that attack to make sure that /you/ could play without being taken hostage by DDoS attacks. On december 2017, another wave of attacks, once again more than 5000€ spent due to damn OVH installation fees and insane prices for licenses / bandwith. On June 2018, when switching from GTMP to RageMP we once again had to change our entire architecture and servers as we had to drop most Linux game servers and adapt to Windows environment, once again thousands spent. This project is not about profiting - It's about creating the best roleplay experience I can provide to all, doing this requires resources which by extreme luck I had thanks to my IRL job. However running a server base on my resources only for years isn't something healthy for myself or my family which you would understand, so your donations help us 1) paying the cost of the server, which never paid for itself until January 2019 due to the high amount of taxes that I'm under of in France. 2) get back resources that I personally paid (in total It's a loss of approximately 25k€ in 2 years) while donations were not covering the cost and had to be used to defend ourselves or adapt to external changes (change of emulator). I doubt I'll see enough "profits" to get back these 25k in the next years, however this helps me collect enough resources to face future challenges and keep the server in a healthy way on financial side for your own protection and future comfort. 3) If one day I may actually profit from the server, this will also be a great news and my only dream is for the server to grow enough so that we can fully pay people that also spend lot of their time developing as I do on the server. These 1), 2), 3) requires optimizations and I would be dumb not to optimize as much as possible the shop to ensure a healthy flow of donations coming up every months, without ever selling direct GTAW cash, vehicles or weapons like other servers can do. From these optimizations and statistics analysis, I'll repeat this again, it is not planned to put /bad as a standalone package.

  8. Jun 20, 2014; Lazarat, a village in Gjirokaster county, was well known for its quality cannabis and having a large amount of crime in the area. It was regarded as the cannabis capital of Europe, due to the fact that the village made more than 900 tons of cannabis each year. In June 2014, the Albanian government cracked down and destroyed the local production of cannabis in the region by shutting down various grow operations. After the operation was taken down a lot of people who were linked with it were left jobless, a lot of people were arrested and the authorities were searching for the rest of the people involved in the organization. Everybody involved did whatever they could to escape from the government. Many people moved out of the country, most of them going to Los Santos and London. Los Santos 2019; Bashkim Berisha is involved with helping Albanians move to Los Santos, both illegally and legally, though only to increase his power in the city and move toward his goal that is making money. He has plans to bring Albanians in Los Santos and build his own crew.

  9. Short description: When it becomes possible, the addition of vehicle mods including both cars and motorcycles which are lore-friendly. Detailed description: There are a *wide* variety of vehicle mods which fit into the GTA lore which the server exists in. Mod packs such as the IVpack and Vanillaworks add large amounts of lore friendly vehicles which belong to in game manufacturers, can represent higher trim levels of existing vanilla cars or are just vehicles (in the case of IVpack) which have already been in the games and were omitted from GTAV. Commands to add: N/A. Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? Vehicle mod packs such as IVpack especially add quite a variety of econobox and more middle class/lower class vehicles such as semi sporty sedans, wagons, hatchbacks, etc, etc - which I believe would allow for far more realistic vehicle variety and not just muscle and sports cars. Also, more motorcycles would be beneficial for the MC scene so everyone just doesn't ride the same bike (such as the floods of Daemons and Zombies). Singular vehicle mods such as the Sigma Two or Coil Tarantis, while not being previously established vehicles, fit within the lore and would make sense while providing players a greater options for the character to choose from and for more vehicles that may fit their portrayal best. 11. Taking a look at the files of that first mod I can tell you that it most likely works, that seems to however just change the normal ped skins. but the process should be the exact same as shown above.

  14. It's obviously not sustainable on its own, no matter how realistic it may or may not be to the RL. We in fact have no clue how it's done in the GTA World and that's the only narrative that counts. I think instead of putting it in another, separate faction or even on individualistic basis it's easier to implement it within the FD, maybe make the EMS a part of the way to become a doctor and also allows EMS players to do Hospital-Duty whenever assistance there may be helpful. It's a new aspect to your faction creating more attractiveness and that's never a problem in my book. Why limit yourself.

  15. Not a bad idea either, opens up another business to employee players and harbor a source for good RP. Getting two birds stoned at once as they say.

  16. Confirm this works with player/tattoo models. While you don't necessarily need to make a running/working folder I do recommend how the OP did it. You'll end up with a lot cleaner structure and it's less confusing in the long run if and when RageMP or an update breaks your mods.

  18. God damn fire marshals! Fire marshals be inspecting businesses making sure they are up to code and give them a capacity. Enforcement of that capacity with random inspections and shut things down if they don't stay up to code.

  19. Moooore beach parties!!! On a serious note, I think some more community events would be cool. Blood drives, career fairs, public demonstrations (like mock rescues/drills), and of course, did I mention beach parties? Maybe public classes for simple first aid basics. Things that focus more on the RP and interaction between the FD and the citizens of Los Santos.
