  2. *Nessa would be seen typing away at a blog journal entry on her laptop, other tabs on the internet browser would should links to the ULSA website and a music player where Alternative rock music would be blasting in her room.* "Welp.. Tomorrow is the day I finally move off to Los Santos, I got accepted to transfer to ULSA for my nutrition degree which is fucking sick.. But i'm pretty nervous. I'm not very good at socializing or really making any sort of friends out side of the internet. Isn't Los Santos known for like pretentious models and celebrities? I don't think i'll fit in, but I should have a more positive outlook I guess. Both my parents are super excited for me, but i'm sure they're also sad that i'll be moving, right? On a positive note I got a sick new mount in a video game I been playing, super excited about that.. I'm rambling cause i'm trying to avoid the panic attack I can feel coming along.. Anyways I should probably head to sleep since I have a early morning flight. " Peace out! Signed, Quix" *Nessa would shut her laptop shortly after, letting out a sigh and crossing her legs. Resting her head atop her knees and hands places on her head. She would began to start doing some heavy breathing in attempts to calm her anxiety. Her bedroom door would open shortly after, her mother would appear. She would kneel down and rest her arms on the bed.* This is my mom, she is fucking awesome. Both of my parents are super cool, my dad is more of the goofy nerdy one where as my mom is too, but she hides it better behind her calm and collected expressions. My mom says they met each other on a college campus, but I found out the truth from my dad.. They met at a friends house to play Dungeon and Dragons. Anyways.. My mom is the best with her words, she knew I was freaking out about moving and she sat with me that night and kept me cool, we ended up talking about Woodstock and zombies for most of the night, it was rad. *The clock would strike 4:30AM, Nessa and her parents would pack the mini van up and head to the Toronto airport. 80s rock music would be playing from their car radio. Nessa would be quiet most of the drive, biting her nails and staring out the car window.* Saying goodbye to my parents was way harder than I expected, it was easier to say bye to my friends than it was them. My parents are like my best friends. Spoiler: We still talk on the phone every day. But back to the story.. We all tried to keep it tough when saying bye, but I was the first to crack and starting crying, my dad made fun of me for it before him and my mom both started to cry as well. It was funny now that I think about it. *Nessa sits on her flight with her headphones blasting her favorite acoustic albums. She heard two boys talking about one of her favorite games as she was switching songs on her phone, however wouldn't have the confidence to join in on their conversation. She spends the flight playing mobile games and eating some granola she packed in her backpack.* I finally arrived to Los Santos, and boy do I regret wearing all long sleeves instantly. However it's officially day 1 of my adventure here, I feel like a level 1 noob who has no idea where to go for their first quest. I waited outside for a taxi and once finally catching out I set out to the ULSA campus. *Nessa sits in the back of a taxi cab, the elderly woman driving the cab would be playing country music from the 1940s. Nessa texted her parents about her arrival and even sent a selfie in the back of the taxi cab. Once they arrived to the campus Nessa tipped the driver and exited. Spending some time staring intimidated at the large school campus.* Well I finally made it. I checked into my dorm and dropped all my bags there. I explored campus shortly after and got a bite to eat at the cafeteria. I can't help but feel a sense of determination here. I am excited now for what my future holds here in Los Santos.

  3. History The Bloods gang was formed initially to go against the influence of the Crips in Los Angeles. The rivalry dates back to the 1960s when Dedrick Reynolds and several other Crips confronted Pierre and Khalil Homan, students at P.R.I.D.E. High School in Los Santos, San Andreas. In response to the attack, Rob, who lived in Chamberlain, established the Piru street-gang, the first "Bloods" street gang. Homan established the West Piru street-gang. The Bloods street-gang was initially formed to provide members protection from the Crips. Many of the non-Crip street-gangs used to call one another "blood". On June 17, 1972, shortly after a concert 20 youths belonging to the Crips attacked and robbed Eric Garnett Jr. outside of Vinewood Palladium. Garnett was beaten to death after he refused to give up his Air Jordans. The sensational media coverage of the crime and the continued assaults by the Crips increased their notoriety. Several non-Crips gangs formed during this period were no match for the Crips and they became concerned with the escalating Crip attacks. The Pirus, Black P. Stones, Lynne Park Boys and other gangs not aligned with the Crips often clashed with the Crips. On August 12, 1972, three months after Garnett's murder, LaTrae "Gator" Garret was murdered by a Westside Crip. This marked the first Crips murder against another gang member and motivated non-Crip street-gangs to align with each other. The Brims struck back on September 9, 1972, by murdering John Wright, an original Westside Crip. By late 1972, the Pirus held a meeting in their neighborhood to discuss growing Crips pressure and intimidation. Several gangs that felt victimized by the Crips joined the Piru Street Boys to create a new federation of non-Crips neighborhoods. This alliance would transform into the "Bloods". The Pirus are therefore considered to be the original founders of the Bloods. By 1978, there were 15 Bloods sets. Crips still outnumbered Bloods 3 to 1. In order to assert their power, the Bloods became increasingly violent. During the 1980s, Bloods began distributing crack cocaine in Los Angeles. Blood membership soon rose dramatically as did the number of states in which they were present. These increases were primarily driven by profits from crack cocaine distribution. The huge profits allowed members to relocate in other cities and states. cited from LS Gangs Wiki NHB Origin The Rollin 20's NeighborHood Bloods (R20NHB) falls under the Rollin, and NeighborHood card in the infamous Blood and Crip gangs of Los Santos, these gangs are primarily African American street gangs. The Davis Ave set which originated in the early 1970's rose from a neighborhood of poverty, around the Southside of Los Santos. As the population in the city began to increase around the Davis and Strawberry area, a small gang began to form initially started by a group of individuals just looking to make some easy money and get on their feet as they moved into the city. It started off with the group digging into the city after putting their money together to buy some resources and make a possible money flip, and hoping to make some profit and double their investments. As time went by the group began to multiply and create chances and changes for others putting money in their pockets. The numbers in the area began to turn into something much bigger than a group of individuals and the blood gang began to form. As more and more gangs appeared around the city of Los Santos, the number of fatalities increased due to rivalries and territory. The chances of job opportunities were already slim for minorities to begin with due to the fact that a lot of people lacked education. Which meant that it was hard to get a job and many people would look towards the streets to make some money. This became a problem on the of Southside of Los Santos because as more people became affiliated with gangs they were becoming a product to their environment. More and more fatalities would happen as gang members fight over territory as long as they were getting money the crime never stopped. These gang members identified themselves by where they came from and family upbringing, and also a way of speaking amongst themselves and others in their neighborhood. High tensions in the South LS area have caused an increase in drug crime and violence such as fights, stabbings and, shootings, robberies and more. The population on the South Los Santos is starting to increase dramatically, and so is gang crime/violence due to the friction of gang activity from the different ethnic groups. Present Day Now in 2019 the new era of Rollin 20's Neighborhood Bloods took over Brogue and Carson Avenue, in Davis and now reside in the low income housing in that area, they've been looked down upon and overlooked as time went on and aren't the most powerful set of Bloods that are still present. They have several sponsors some from San Fierro and Las Venturas, also in Los Santos. Many of those are other blood sets like Black P Stones , Fruit Town Brims , as well as Outlaw 20s Bloods, these sponsors have a higher rank in the "bloods" sets and are dominant over the R20NHB. This is because they reside under the Rollin and Neighborhood car which makes them less known due to their bigger rival Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips and other Crips under the same car as them. New Rollin NeighborHood Bloods (RNHB) have many sets and are led by several old heads as they say, but some don't and instead prove their hierarchy by selling drugs, tricking off women robberies and crime. Any way of making money legal or illegal and that benefits their gang proves them from other gangs in Los Santos. More and more members are being initiated to the Davis Ave set, this has been causing many problems in their neighborhood due to this more attention has been drawn to them from rivals and local law-enforcement. They have many rivals and allies some of which rivals being the : Rollin 20s Neighborhood Crips , Rollin 30s Harlem Crips , Rollin 40s Crips, 18th Street Gang, and West Blvd Crips. Rollin O's The Rollin 20's Outlaw Bloods, other known as Rollin O's , Eastside Rollin 20's Outlaw Bloods, or Outlaw 20's Blood Gang is another set affiliated with the infamous African American, Rollin 20's Neighborhood Bloods (R20NHB). Their neighborhood stretches from 20th Street and Brogue Avenue to Covenant. Brogue Ave being where the former R20NHBs were located and now Covenant Avenue being the current Rollin O's residence. The crime rate boomed, and many of the Brogue Avenue, Rollin 20's Neighborhood Bloods members were incarcerated due to an influx in the areas population which brought LSPD's attention and the court of Los Santos cited a gang injunction to the set which seized all of their illegal possessions, and also threw alot of their members into prison for multiple felony sentences. Once released many former members relocated to Covenant to ally with the Rollin O's and grow even stronger, and return to their street ties. With more members the area has become a "hotspot" for gang activity and has brought the attention of other gangs and the local police enforcement. They also have many allies and rivals similar to the R20NHB such as : BloodStone Pirus, BloodStone Villains - 43 Gangster Crips, Avalon Gangster Crips, Broadway Gangster Crips, and the East Side Trece. OOC Information We aim to portray a realistic blood street gang set, mainly showcasing the brutal lifestyle in which the gang members and those around them indulge themselves. Joining this faction will not be easy, as we want people who really like to indulge themselves in actually developing certain characters that revolve around the street gang. We don't want people joining for the sole reason of "hey we're here to shoot and beef other opposing street gang factions". This goes against everything we're for. All of our recruitment is done completely in character and we mainly rp around Strawberry Ave, as that is the main basing point of the set. All of our members or individuals that roleplay around us are expected to strictly follow the server rules. If you fail to do so and you're not commiting to actually provide "quality" roleplay, you will be removed. New members in this faction must be able to RP up to our standards and we set the bar pretty high as we would like to keep roleplay as realistic as possible. No matter what the case is keep matters IC and handle everything maturely, when boredom strikes reach out to other members and try to create realistic roleplay. If you have any questions please feel free to contact either Me or @Duffle through PM and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

  4. Been playing this for a bit - I used to play Pokemon Revolution, but one of the main developers (and founders) decided to stray away from that project and start his own which is now called "PokéOne". It's a free MMORPG similar to the newer 3DS games with 3D graphics. You get to choose between Kanto and Johto to start, and eventually, you can travel in between. The Pokemon in the game are also not restricted to just Khanto or Jhoto, they've also included all the latest Pokémons (802). While it somewhat follows the generic storylines, there are lots of twists and additions that the devs have implemented which are unique to this game. There are quests similar to every MMO, adding more than just the regular old storyline to follow. You can also customize your character to your liking and everything is unlockable through just playing with the option to donate for cosmetics, etc. The game is free and it is also open beta and they have almost been shut down by Nintendo so it's a very secretive project with a great community. DO NOT install from anywhere that isn't directly from the Discord. There will be a false virus alert, this is because of some technical technicalities. You may read about this on the discord. But either way, if you decide to join me, add me up in the game and lets train/do shit together! MY USERNAME: iAMTemple POKEONE DISCORD/DOWNLOAD LINK: https://discordapp.com/invite/bNYRTFn

  5. This has been a highly requested tutorial, keep in mind this is only for the creation of add-on mods, these do not change direct game files, they are simply dragged to the 'dlcpacks' folder of the server on your Rage-MP directory, mostly for re-texture mods. Tools required: OpenIV, download here; ArchiveFix, download here; Base add-on files, down here; The mod itself, I used this one as a test example: Mod. I recommend creating a new folder where you'll be working on the following steps, once everything is downloaded and ready. Keep in mind: The base files provided for the add-on creation will only work for textures, for such things as vehicle models or weapon models, you'll need other base files as they will not use textures.rpf most likely, take a look here and download according to your needs or the all-in-one package, the process however is the same as shown, this will work also for the so blessed nipple mods everyone keeps asking me over and over for another variant, you can now do it yourself and stop asking, since they're basically textures. 1 - Extract the mod to a working directory for easy management and move the dlc.rpf from the base add-on files to a new location and open it with OpenIV so you can start the process. 2 - With OpenIV open the dlc.rpf and navigate to the textures.rpf, this is where you'll drag all files, don't forget to enable edit mode on top. 3 - Drag the texture files inside now, once done go back and drag the textures.rpf out of OpenIV, then proceed to delete it from OpenIV. 4 - You should now have the textures.rpf file at the directory, just drag it on top of the ArchiveFix.exe, you should get a command line output that the file was encrypted. 5.1 - Now re-add the textures.rpf file back to the OpenIV inside the dlc.rpf we were working on once it's encrypted just drag it back inside the x64 directory. 5.2 - Go all the way back to the root of the dlc.rpf in OpenIV, you'll need to edit both the .xml files inside. 6 - Change accordingly to what you're going to name the folder where the dlc.rpf will be stored, can be anything, don't forget to hit 'save' once you're done. 7 - Disable edit mode once you're done, and drag the dlc.rpf on top of the ArchiveFix.exe just the same way you did with the textures.rpf. 8 - Create the folder according to what you named the mod on the .xml files, drag the dlc.rpf inside, and you're done, just drag the folder to the dlcpacks of the server you wish to connect.

  7. “I always knew my father was up to something. For a good while I just didn’t know what.” “You see, my father didn’t want to involve the family in anything. To us and the public, he was the second generation owner of a butcher shop, right in the heart of New York City. My grandfather opened that shop when he came from the old country. It was the pride of the family.” Paul Zampa was born on May 21st 1980 in Brooklyn, New York City. The third son and fourth child of Anthony and Angelina Zampa. The Zampas were famous in their neighbourhood for their family run butcher shop. Anthony Zampa was a suspected low level associate of the Colombo Crime Family, but was never publicly found to be involved in any criminal activity, despite the circumstances of his death. “I wasn’t an idiot though. None of us were. We all knew that we had a little too much allowance for the children of a butcher, and had a few too many uncles and aunties” “But I never questioned it. I was happy feigning blissful ignorance. That is, until we were forced to face the truth. My father was shot dead shortly after closing up shop one night in ‘95. My oldest brother, Anthony Junior, he tried keeping the shop running, but it was like you could never quite get the blood stains out of the floor, no matter how hard you tried.” On July 2nd in Brooklyn, New York City, a shooting took place in the Zampa butcher shop, around 7PM. When police arrived on scene, they found Anthony Zampa dead, a single bullet to the back of his head. There were no signs of forced entry or struggle. A few months later, the Zampa butcher shop closed for business, and the Zampa family which had been a household name in that part of Brooklyn, seemed to scatter with the winds. “My mother didn’t deal with the news very well. Luckily for all of us though, Anthony Junior was a good son, he took care of her. Looking back on it, I regret I didn’t do more myself. Now my sister, she was the oldest of us. Her and my younger brother were always close, so when the family collapsed, she took him out west somewhere, San Fierro or some or another. Last I hear they’re doing well. Good on them. “That left me to do my own thing though. I was 15 and had just lost my father and my biggest role model. I think it was pretty natural that I’d turn to the New York City nightlife in that situation. I met a lot of good friends during those next few years, but not a lot of good people. I left school as soon as I could, all I wanted to do was be with my friends. And girlfriends.” In the mid to late ‘90s, Paul Zampa found himself involved in a number of petty crimes. Burglary, vehicle theft and the likes. The Zampa family had fallen on tough times following the closure of their butcher shop. Many of the juvie officers from that time remember Zampa, and wager that he felt forced to commit crime for a living. It didn’t help his situation that Paul Zampa was known to be a heavy partier. “It was around this time I met the love of my life. Diana Fazio, a name my mother would approve of. From the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew that I was gonna marry her, that she was my ticket to heaven.” “We were bad kids. We all had italian surnames, we felt like a regular mob. Of course we weren’t, but we had seen the movies. It wasn’t until I met some of the people my father had been involved with that I really understood.” In 2002, Paul Zampa married Diana Fazio. By all accounts they were a great pair, and the marriage had approval from both families. It wouldn’t be long before the Zampa pair moved out of New York City, to the other side of the country in Las Venturas. Many speculate that Paul was trying to get away from something. Perhaps he had realised the error of his ways. In any case, Paul found himself picking up his father’s profession, finding work at a butchers.” “I don’t think my mother ever really forgave me for leaving, but Brooklyn was gonna be the death of me. I found a real job, and I could send real money back to her, to help Anthony Junior take care of her. At the time, Venturas was like paradise to me. I earned well enough to support my wife, and the living costs were so cheap in the middle of the desert, that I had enough money to develop a gambling habit.” “Of course now it’s become painfully obvious to me that just because I left Brooklyn, Brooklyn never really left me. I tried being a middle class family man for 18 years. But there’s a reason men in their 40s end up killing themselves so much.” The Zampa pair had been gone from public eye for most of their 18 year long marriage, but the name suddenly appeared in records again when they filed for divorce. It seems that Diana’s infertility and Paul’s wish for a big family had clashed too often, and a messy split took place. Paul left most of the belonging to his now ex-wife Diana, and has most recently been seen living in Los Santos.” “It wasn’t her fault, of course it wasn’t. But I just couldn’t get over it. The least I could do for my mother was provide her with some grandkids before she passed on, and it had become clear that Diana wasn’t going to be the mother. I gave her everything she wanted, to give her a chance on her own. I’m told she found some rich gook to leech off of. Good for her.” “I didn’t want to go back home. They wouldn’t approve. I had to make something of myself, for god’s sake I’m approaching 40, it’s about time. I’ve started over before and I’m ready to do it again. However, this time instead of being scared off from my father’s untimely demise, I’ll learn a lesson from it.”

  8. Hello, I have noticed the lack of African American street gangs on the server and have given it some thought and decided that the server deserves a faction of such that is of high quality standards. If you are interested in working with myself on the development of a black street gang, please contact me via forum personal messaging and we shall proceed from there. If you are not willing to take the risk of wasting your time because you notice I am a new user, and without reputation, I can assure you it will not be a waste of your time and am willing to dedicate myself fully in order to achieve such a goal. I know what it takes to lead and develop a faction, as I have been role playing such since the beginning of 2009 starting on LSRP (for those familiar). Thank you for reading.

  9. Short description: DON'T MAKE CIGARETTES FORCE-BUY. Detailed description: It's not realistic. Because, nobody's gonna want to buy 20 cigarettes for 400$ to use 20 smoking anims THAT DONT EVEN INCLUDE THE ANIM, WHERE YOU LIGHT IT. There's going to be close to 0 smokers in the city, which is unrealistic considering CIGARETTES, IS SMOKED BY 1 BILLION PEOPLE in the world, if not more. Commands to add: n/a Items to add: n/A How would your suggestion improve the server? Make it more realistic, instead of what you think you are doing with this, making it less realistic. 12. 400$ is steep for a pack of cigarettes, it's a vanity item and should be priced the same as a Sandwich or a donut.. Not entrance to a place, cause I wont work hours upon hours to smoke a few packs a day.

  15. Having knowledge of the server takes no more than two weeks of playing if not less. It's literally just a roleplay server, nothing more, nothing less. There is no special lore to be discovered or none of that, it simply is an open space for people to share different projects and characters. In my opinion man, go for it... If you truly wish to start a faction then just make sure you create a proper thread and post good quality screenshots and people will be compelled to join you. I would normally support the idea of "supporting existing projects" but in reality when the existing projects are really not that much out there and they already have a somewhat decent playerbase, I think it becomes a matter of time before another faction comes to oppose them or at least provide them different roleplay to keep new things from popping. There's no point in having one massive gang with nothing to do, in a natural order it should be several factions with a decent amount of players split between them, for fun to really exist. Good luck!

  20. I tried to throw a discussion about this: Did not get much reply. Problem is that some shops arent used that much, hence players dont work their either. A way to solve that would be to add a hourly pay to players on duty. Which will make it easier for shop owners to hire players. Gas stations should be functional 24/7 though as it would cause a lot of frustration to not be able to buy gas all the time. And to be fair we do have unmanned gas stations around the world too.

  27. I get this argument, but to be honest, at the same time I'm also confused by the difference in the value of peoples' time. For example, for every Saints News article, I publish I earn around $5000 maximum from ad sales. This can be earned in an hour in a nightclub, or an hour at the fishery. The value of time is an odd one to explore because, theoretically, I should earn more money than I probably do, but at what point do wages extend too far, from fishing, bartending or journalism? Are we really motivated solely by money? I'm not saying I'm not, I can't say I'd publish a lot if I didn't earn anything ICly from Saints, but it's still an interesting concept to me that our time invested in this server should amount to in-game currency. I do agree with your argument to an extent, but the theory behind it is interesting.
