A female patient is hoisted by Life Flight One before being moved to a flat area of land to be assessed by ground teams.

MOUNT CHILIAD - At 15:09 on Monday the 31st December 2018, a call was made to 911 reporting an individual had fallen from a wooden platform on the top of Mount Chiliad, subsequently becoming stuck on a rock face at the top of the mountain.
The Los Santos Fire Department's Life Flight One, a crew of two, was dispatched to the scene while a crew of two also responded in Rescue One. LSPD also responded to assist.

Upon arrival at approximately 15:20, a search of the area was conducted. The helicopter circled the mountain and eventually a female was located on some rocks, seemingly trapped due to the steepness of the mountain. There were no suitable locations to land, so a rescue basket and firefighter was lowered to the female on the cliff in a hoist rescue attempt. She was secured onto the basket and brought back up to the helicopter where she was placed inside. Lifeflight One landed at the top of the mountain to meet with Rescue One, where the female was provided with medical care for minor wounds, bruising to the ankle.

Rescue One slowly descends down Mount Chiliad. Lieutenant Chloe MacKenzie watches the surrounding area to avoid hazards, while Firefighter Anna Degtyarev drives.

After a brief check-up from flight medic Firefighter Ian Marabell, the patient was medically dismissed from the scene. She was taken off the mountain to the nearby Sheriff's Office by Rescue One. Lifeflight One was then cleared and returned to base. The situation was declared concluded at 16:09.
