Wildfires & Property fires

Information

When we at GTA:World say we want to bring interesting scenarios to the fire department, we mean it. A brand new and entirely synced fire system has been created just for you players to enjoy! Fires can be started and stopped by the administration team. Once a fire has been started all active firemen on duty will receive an alert with a sound playing and the location of the fire. It's their job to secure the perimeter and get the fire under control, as people can get fatally injured if they get too close.

Each flames are synchronized between players using a homemade synchronization system that we developed!

While wildfires tends to spread quickly you'll notice that property fires will be easier to control in some cases. With wild fire and exterior property fires being the only two types of fires at the moment they can differ in which type they're being fueled by. This is randomized between being a gas and a non-gas fueled fire. Non-gas fires will spread over a wider area compared to a gas fire.

As a player, you can use /report to request an authorization to an administrator to start a fire, this administrator will observe your roleplay and authorize it or not. (If no Fire Department are online, It will obviously be denied)

What's to come?

  • Synced extinguisher / firetrucks will also be introduced with 0.4 as we asked George to add it for us, and he did!
    • unknown.png?width=1138&height=676
  • Insurance companies will also be introduced soon and are under discussion (for your properties and vehicles).
  • Interior fires will also be introduced later, as we still need to do some additionnal work on furniture positions and fires!
