Senior Management Everett Posted June 22, 2018 Senior Management Share Posted June 22, 2018 Security Update As an additional security measure, an additional option has been added to activate Two-Factor Authentication. What is this? Two Factor Authentication (or 2FA) is an additional security barrier in order to protect your account from being breached. The way it works, is that even after you fill out the login form and authenticate yourself with your password, you will be redirected to an additional page prompting you to type a one-time-password which is obtained through an app on your phone. How can I activate it? In order to activate 2FA Authentication, go to Settings > Security and press the "Enable 2FA" button. How can I download the app? Google Play - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.azure.authenticator App Store - https://itunes.apple.com/il/app/google-authenticator/id388497605?mt=8 NOTE: Activating Two-Factor Authentication is HIGHLY recommended! HypnoSe
I encountered a lot of of issues with 2FA before but I guess it was just me, and few other friends of mine. However I highly recommend using it. Link to comment
Bluman
Honestly 2FA is a good idea but personally I never use it. I always end up losing access to the app and being locked out of my accounts forever, usually a problem with my phones and Google itself. Link to comment
