Makkebakke
What do cops do when they pull over a vehicle with no plates? I've been told plates are grabbed entirely visually and not through any commands. Should the cop ask through /do whether or not the vehicle has plates IC'ly? Can I get fined for driving a car with no plates when there is literally no in-game way for me to put plates on the car? Discuss or explain. Edited May 13, 2018 by Makkebakke Link to comment
Lionhearted
Vehicles script-wise have plates when bought and that should be recognized via /do if the vehicle does not visually represent any plates. Else all dirt bikes are illegal. 1 Link to comment
James Mustaine
I don't know the answer to your question BUT... I don't think the system in place should be /do and asking ICly, I feel like depending on the situation the player will just change their story. If it's a regular traffic stop they'll say Yes, and if they were fleeing from a crime scene or something they'll say No. Nevermind, read what @Aquila said. Aquila
Already been discussed and concluded, if I remember right. All vehicles have registration plates. Cops can see them, it's on the UCP, and players know what they are. We're playing on GTA V so there are obviously many limitations, despite the fact that a lot of players pick and choose what limitations do/do not work for them. Link to comment
