Stevely Arms Apartments, Strawberry Avenue

In recent years, a Los Santos Police Department informant fed information to the department on a deteriorating housing project that sits on Strawberry Avenue. The informant, who for protective purposes has not been named, managed to bag himself multiple drug sales from senior members of the so-called Black P-Stones blood gang. Authorities from the LSPD have since cracked down on gang activity in the Stevely Arms Apartments, cornering gangs and their members with a gang injunction, forbidding known associates of the Strawberry Avenue gangs from congregating together on the streets.

Police officers from the Gang and Narcotics Division, who are tasked with dismantling gang activity in the city of Los Santos have attended several reports of shootings, robberies, assaults, thefts and home invasions in the past year. The area is not too far from Chamberlain Hills, otherwise known as "The Jungles" for its tropical appearance and has been plagued with gang activity since the late 1960's. Residents from the Chamberlain Hills region see helicopters over their household, sirens, flashing blue lights and gunshots, which unfortunately happens to be every day life.

OOC Culture / Neighbourhood History:  Baldwin Village was developed in the early 1940's to late 1950's and was originally developed for young families to be housed. The area was sometimes referred to as "The Jungles" by the locals for its tropical decor consisting of banana trees, palm trees and begonias. The Los Angeles City Council were forced to change the name of the area in 1990 due to the nickname creating fear to outsiders and occasionally the residents, as gang members from the Black P-Stones Bloods (The Jungles set, previously known as The Jungle Boys before their merge) twisted the name to their favour by claiming its nickname was due to its violent and wild attributes.

The presence of both The Jungles & The W/S Black P. Stones Bity Side Blood sets emerged in Los Angeles, California in the late 1960's from Chicago, Illinois when OG T. Rogers moved with his family members to L.A and formed a faction of the Black P Stone Nation in 1969, which today claims to be the original Los Angeles set of the Almighty Black P. Stone Nation. The West Side (W/S) Black P. Stones Jungles set followed after T. Rogers required a more powerful grip on South Los Angeles and in order to do so, introduced a gang known as The Jungle Boys to the Almighty Black P. Stone Nation.

Despite Chamberlain Hills (aka Baldwin Village) not being within our faction's geography, it is very much close to where our faction resides and is within a block away. This is why we are choosing to roleplay the Black P-Stones being within our neighbourhood of Strawberry Avenue and its surrounding blocks due to its very close proximity to The Jungles region. Black P. Stones are known to have multiple cliques within their Jungles set which is why this faction is made possible.

The Tahitian Apartments in Strawberry Avenue is currently being roleplayed as its real life counterpart. Stevely Arms Apartments in Stevely Avenue, Baldwin Village, South Los Angeles.

OOC information: We as a faction are aiming to portray a realistic imitation of the Baldwin Village region of South Los Angeles and its residents. A poverty-stricken area plagued with gang activity, its youngsters within are given a tempting lifestyle when dabbling in gang activity. There are very few restrictions when it comes to roleplaying with us in this area, whether that means your character's race, age, gender or affiliation with the gangs within. All we ask of prospective and current members is to do your research on South Los Angeles and its poverty-stricken, gang populated neighbourhoods. While we do not aim to restrict people, we do not and will not accept poorly portrayed characters of this region and will not accept you within our faction if you fall into this small minority of roleplayers. You do not have to be affiliated with the gang that falls within this neighbourhood to roleplay with us, you can roleplay a resident and you will not be treated differently. We want to encourage people roleplaying actual human beings and not have a neighbourhood filled to the brim with gang members, instead, we are hoping that people are diverse enough to want to roleplay their characters being associated and not affiliated. We highly suggest that you allow In Character events to steer your character's lifestyle choices into the direction it would realistically head as joining up with a robotic mindset will be highly frowned upon.

With the above still in mind, we do not accept random people posting screenshots on the faction's thread. Despite it being a community full of diverse residents, whether gang affiliated or not, you still must PM myself, Eyebrows or Ikechukwu for permission to post a specific screenshot on the faction's thread. If you are already a long standing member of the faction, your screenshots won't have to be assessed before being posted.

We reserve the right to Character Kill you if deemed necessary at the time. Those that do not wish to accept these terms will not be welcomed into the faction as we expect people that are willing to lose their character if you commit an act that would ultimately put your character's life at risk from either reprisal or an unfortunate twist of events. There is no specific terms on how your character may be killed and it is down to the faction leadership on how we wish to terminate your character's life if the time comes for you to be removed. This rule is in place to make prospective members think before acting and really assess if their life from an In Character standpoint is worth the activity they are going to be committing. Anybody that wishes to join with a generic, unrealistic character will see themselves being greeted by this rule.
