How did you learn about GTAW?

I googled; I am Deaf in North America, was looking for a text based RP GTA server that didn't require voice all the time or at all (I don't mind some voice, but I primarily depend on text as voice is hard to hear esp with accents). 

I have no other friends to follow or any of them following me; I have asked some members of the Deaf community in North America but got no reply, there are quite a few of them who play GTA V in single player and most have no interest in playing an RP server at this point I guess.  Hopefully I can find some Deafies from NA here, just maybe! English isn't their first language so this is a key area I'm interested in supporting because of the server's strong English requirements which is a GOOD thing. 

Anyway I googled and ended up on Reddit that had a post by a Deaf individual looking for a text based RP server, I don't know if he is still here or not but that post is a year old you can find it, its easy.

Found about it when I started to get in GTA:V RP. First ever "GTA-V Roleplay Server" I've played except Eclipse (which I never joined tbh).

Was looking for rp that had substance and options.  My friend knew I didn't want to voice RP and found this server.  He is far more versed than I am in GTA so I followed his recommendation.

New GTARP player, but avid roleplayer. Played a lot of Dark RP back in the glory days and love a good tabletop RPG.

 

Been playing another popular server that I won't name for about 4-5 weeks. It's been pretty fun, but there's been a seriously agitating lack of good roleplay. A lot of criminal players seemed to expedite robberies and play with a "win game" mentality that I really didn't like. Mostly gaming the rules to their advantage.

 

Found this near the top of the list in Rage MP launcher and decided to check it out. Submitted an app today. Server looks great and I expect some genuinely good roleplay.
