The roots of the organization lie within Rustem Dobraj. The Albanian-American smuggled large quantities of marijuana from the albanian coast to Italy, which the local Sicilian mafia then shipped out to America in large quantities. His mother being Italian & him being able to speak it fluent, he had a good rapport with Aldo Sigliarri. Years down the line, as the Greco family of Liberty city needed more men, they’d approached Aldo for the same & one of the few Albanians who with the blessing of Aldo were set out for the US.

But Rustem had different plans. He had studied the Italian hierarchy & culture, & had realized he couldn’t get far not being a full Italian. Being pushy & staying on the edge, he attempted & succeeded knocking the same thought in other Albanian heads, prominent among them were Skender Isma, Adem Cela, and Driton Dushku. They created a new identity for each person & moved to San Fierro. For years they operated in relatively small numbers indulged in car thefts, contract killings, prostitution rings & vandalism whenever necessary most of them being extreme hotheads. He saw the weapon potential Rustem went back to the Berisha clan, the Albanian group with help of which Rustem smuggled marijuana to Italy. He risked the visit with all of his men & showed him how good they were doing on the western coast after ditching the Italians. After a long explanation of a well laid out plan where he explained how much money they’d make if it went right to San Fierro from Lazarat - the drug heaven of Albania without any Italian intermediaries. Having closed the deal, the group made mad money just with the drug trafficking along with other crimes. He also promised other Albanian men a better life & bought them along.

In the late 2000’s, Adam & Driton & their little crew got caught vandalizing a shop because of not getting the weekly extortion. Already being reported to the authorities, this was expected & the area was surrounded by the department already. It ended up as a massive shootout, only Driton surviving & jailed for 25 years. This was a major blow to the organization, Rustem laundered all his part of the money paying a massive fee, fleed out to Los Santos laying low & handed the organization to Skender. Turned out that one from Driton’s crew had spit everything out, but most of them wouldn’t know Rustem since there always was a buffer. He was able to dodge a huge bullet there. Due to this the PD continued to crack down the operations & soon Skender was behind the bars too.

Rustem tried to live normally in Los Santos, but struggled with the same. He was hooked. The life had took over him eternally, and although he managed to break through possibly the worst time in his life, he couldn’t stop thinking about what he lost. He tried going onto a vacation at Kosova to meet his old friends & family, but the American vibe that took over him since the years wouldn’t let go of him. Meanwhile his son Burim didn’t do any good in education & already participated in petty crimes, even started his own crew & the news of his arrest for almost every charge quickly pulled Rustem back into the life. He returned to LS & bought in a few of his known men he’d know since the years and put in all the money made. The group started buying out various businesses & establishing control over various parts of LS & have been continuing to do so.

• The organization aims to portray the unique aspect of bonding among the members, that are a part of the personal family but still involved in all criminal aspect, since most of us are IC’ly related to each other in a way or the other.

• Everyone has other characters that they play on, while we’re not against this in any way whatsoever, it’s totally fine & we respect it. But if you are or willing to be a part of faction & there’s no one on, you could still play the character & go on to some interaction which could potentially be very substantial  for the faction & bring a whole new storyline & yes, just by one interaction that you had when no one else was on.

•   DO NOT, wait for others to feed you roleplay, get in the mindset of your character, there’s endless possibilities even when there’s no one you know online.

• If you’re willing to join & would like to have ideas, references & help on how to portray an Albanian character, we’ll be happy to guide you with the same but you’ll have to catch up with us IC & develop from there.

• If you aren’t the best in English, our doors remain open as far as you take it IC & roleplay an immigrant or make it a part of your backstory with reasoning.

• This goes without saying but make sure to respect & follow the community’s rules & guidelines.

Organizata Shqiptarë  uses the term besa, meaning "trust", as a name for their "code of honor". During the recruitment process a member inducted into  an Albanian mafia is required to take an oath. The oath is then considered sacred because it is defined as a Besë. Besa is extremely important in Albanian culture, and is considered a verbal contract of trust. When somebody gives someone their Besë, they have given someone their life and are going to protect someone with their life.
