TritonXVII
I don't think it should be abolished. Nevertheless, there needs to be a clear distinction on the scenarios where it is permitted. Namely, scenarios that in real life are inherently unpredictable and dependent on what we perceive to be luck. i.e /me throws a crumbled piece of paper against the wind, toward the basket. The aforementioned example in real life cannot possibly be accurately calculated on a whim and the result will be pretty much random-ish. Therefore, the use of /coin, to reflect a 50/50 chance of landing the paper in the basket, sounds like good use of the function. /me throws 10 punches at X /do HEADS = all punches hit you /coin is just plain powergaming and inability to work with others.
