BennyK
Heya, I've just tried connecting to the server, but this error pops up, directing me instantly to gta v singleplayer: "could not access game process. shutdown steam/rgs and try again". I'm not running the game on steam, rather on Epic, hence why I don't understand the error. Epic's running in the background as well if you're wondering. If anyone knows anything about this, I appreciate the help. Link to comment
bncal
Got a legit copy of gta V, right? Rage does not support cracked copies. Anyway, you should try to reinstall ragemp or: Check both threads and let me know. Edited September 5, 2020 by bncal Link to comment
BennyK
Yes, I've got a legit copy of the game, obtained from Epic Games. I've tried deactivating my antivirus - the same error popped up. Tried reinstalling ragemp and the problem still persists. Link to comment
bncal
There's a solution for who got the game on steam, but I suggest you to try with epic. "Completely close epic, and then launch RageMP and let RageMP open epic". Let's see with this. " And check here https://rage.mp/forums/topic/9031-error-could-not-access-game-process/ This user has the same issue but for now there is no solution. For now I found another thread with the same error but the solution is "fixed restarting the pc". As soon as possible try this: launch rage, connect here or wherever you want, after the error click "play game" or whatever the button on the social club launcher says. Lemme know. If you have time launch update.exe, maybe some files are corrupted. @BennyK Question for you: is gta V updated with the last version? Edited September 6, 2020 by bncal Link to comment
