Since a lot of people have been hitting me up about how I edit my screens I'll just post this simple guide here.

 

You will need;

Internet 

Discord

Logs

 

Alright, so the first thing you do is get into the official discord (https://discord.gg/7nxkXVw), this is a permanent link.

 

Secondly, you would need to go to the 'Important' Channel where you can click on 'Alpha version is live here - https://screens.milkslices.dev/' (You could skip the entering the discord but its always cool to show support and share your screens)

 

Third, ensure that you have chat parser (https://github.com/MapleToo/GTAW-Log-Parser/releases)

Recommended settings;

After clicking on the link you will see the editor, you will just need to drag your image onto the random image on the editor.

 

It should show like this;

Now! Adding text is really simple, you just go to your text file, pick out what you want and drop it into the 'Input' section, once this is done it should show like this;

(QUICK TIP - use [br] to break lines)

You could also play with the fonts and stroke sizes and find what looks better to you, once you are done hit upload screenshot and this will pop up;

Luckily on GTA W we are more advanced! ? So you'd have to go through the hassle of removing the the [/img] brackets before posting an edited screenshot on the forums.

 

Okay, so now that we're done with that let's get into the tabs! In these tabs there are options to make editing easier. Let's start with the second tab labeled 'phrasing'.

Okay as you can see, there is an option to remove Advertisements and Admin Commands so when you past the text into 'input' the application automatically removes those unwanted lines! There is also a Line Break option, if it's set on 'Yes' it will disable the [br] command (don't think its fully optimized yet)

 

Alright let's go to this other tab 'Screenshot'

Basically, this allows you to edit the image into the size that you want it to be, it also allows you to place the text into a specific area of the image using 'Text Offset  X & Y'. The Text Alignment allows you to place the roleplay lines at the top of the image or at the bottom.

 

If you hit the 'Reset Scaling' option, it resets the image to its original form and finally the Text Backdrop places a black background over the text link this;

Finally! The tab labelled 'other'

 

You can skip that tab because you will never use it. ?

Foot notes:

This was designed for LSRP so certain text like /pay or drugs will not show up (I've been trying to convince the dev to add those)

I tried to make this as corny as possible thus the emojis and everything else, I was shooting for a bootleg Better Call Saul commercial.

This might have a couple typos, tried my best on a Friday night.
