Driver info & tips

  • To enter ASCOSA competition, you must have a vehicle that is eligible for ASCOSA car groups (listed down below), you must sign-up to the race prior to the race day, you must read the ASCOSA regulations and rules, and you must pay the allocated entry fee to race. That’s all you need to do!
  • Arrive at the event area before the event starts preferably. The driving starts roughly 10-20 minutes after the event start time. If you come late, you won’t be let into competition!
  • Before the first practice run, a drivers meeting will be held. The race director goes through the day’s schedule and other important points alongside giving the racers the event radio channel during the meeting. Pay attention to what the race director is telling you!
  • Practice runs are rather self explanatory. Go through the course at your own pace and practice. These runs are not timed and do not count towards the race.
  • Race runs are the actual competition runs, which are timed. These will determine your result for the day.
  • Breaks
  • Between the practice runs and the race runs, the race director may call out breaks to allow people to service their cars and re-energize themselves.
  • IF YOU CRASH
    • Wait until the car is stationary, make sure the car is not on fire and check if it’s mobile.
    • Call in on the race radio that you’ve crashed and wait for further instructions.
    • Slowly move the car to a safe position (exit road, off the road to a place where an in-coming car won’t hit it) or drive it over the finish line if possible.
    • If the car is totalled and can not be moved under it’s own power, remain seated in the vehicle and wait for the tow-truck to arrive. DO NOT OPEN YOUR BELTS.
    • If you are injured, call in help via the radio. FD’s extrication team will attend to you shortly.
  • RACE RUNS
    • Remain parked at your paddock spot untill you are called to the starting area.
    • Start from the starting line once the start marshal has given you permission.
    • Do the full run, obeying the sporting code.
    • Cross the finish line, slow down IMMEDIATELY and stop & switch off at the Parc Ferme (post-race parking).
    • Clothing
      • All drivers are required to wear fire proof suits & crash helmets. ((in-game racing suit & helmet)).

Hello racers,

Due to bureaucratic reasons out of Autosport Club of San Andreas' control, we are unable to host the first round of Apex Sprint Masters at it's original date (30.08.20). The event has been re-scheduled for the back up date (Sunday 06.09.20 15.00 gmt+0), which is exactly 9 days away from this post. We are extremely sorry to bring you these bad news, but regardless of our continuous efforts, our hands are tied and we can not safely organize the event on it's original date.

The sign-ups for the first round will be extended until 06.09.20 GMT+0 14.00. All posted sign-ups are still valid for the re-scheduled race too. If you can not join at that particular date, please message anyone from Autosport Club of San Andreas, and we'll pull your registration.

Regards,
Autosport Club of San Andreas
