Just to give more communication about my last message - We're always trying to give similar decisions when it comes to factions coming back after being force closed. Our goal is not to hurt the innocent members, but at the same time leadership issues are most of the time raining down on other members, also witnessed by members who aren't saying anything, and the old leadership can also easily keep an hand over the new group.

To avoid this, we usually ask for the faction go "start again" with a new thread, new discord, specific monitoring & having to resubmit the application.

 

Rancho is no different, and while in this case the major rulebreaking seemed more contained to the leadership, we want to make sure we (server management & IFM) are taking the best decision for the server when re-opening the faction.

It'll be certain that the faction, if coming back, will have a direct IFM supervision & monitoring in its leadership for a few months and will need to go through the application again too. A new thread might also be necessary, along with more changes to start from zero without erasing the faction's continuity & history.

 

We'll be discussing in the next days / weeks the new project brought up by the remaining members & ensure that we have analyzed the impact of our decision properly to make it fair for everyone involved.
