Exterior Mapping

On SAMP you'd be able to map the outside pretty easily with mapping tools and such. Is this a possibility also on RAGE so we could say remap areas like the construction site near Little Seoul?

Afraid it’s not as easy as easy it used to be on SAMP. Don’t quote me on that though, server mappers might be able to give you a more accurate answer.

Exterior mapping is only available for Platinum donators. 
 

you can also only map within a vicinity of an owned property and your limited to 10 exterior objects per property.

He means permanent mapping to edit the map.

 

This is possible with a dlc removing the specific area and adding objects but since we have a stream limit we are not planning to do it anytime soon

Thank you for your answer Stefan - is this stream limit caused by RageMP or just a result of limited data capacity on GTA W?

I believe RAGEMP, there's no actual limit limit but once around 600 entities (being players, objects, cars) in your stream distance you'll start to experience lag/timeouts. That's why at big events or big turnups at clubs admins will despawn cars as they count as 1 entity each.

 

Imagine a building of 1000 items being spawned in...
