Doosty
Cody Thomas Strickland "Stickman", "Codes" Date of Birth: 10 October, 1993 Origins: Vice City, Florida Cody was raised with his parents in a small suburb in Vice City. His mother worked at a local grocery chain as a stocker, and his father was retired from the Army. Cody grew up about as middle-class as it comes - fair sized house, white picket fence, dog named Sadie. Some would call it the 'American Dream', but not Cody. His father always intended for him to become an officer, join the military as he did, or work an otherwise government related job. The day-to-day grind of middle America quickly wore on his sanity, and at the height of his teenage rebellion years, Cody departed for Los Santos - determined to make something of himself (as long as it wasn't what his father wanted). College wasn't the easiest on Cody, he struggled at times in classes, and intermittently skipped semesters to party and enjoy his newfound freedom. Several years pass, and now as a college graduate, he begins to finally see the wisdom his father had been attempting to impart on him all along. As he aged, he began to realize the party years can't last forever. With job opportunities for his chosen degree being rather bleak, he sought other avenues in life. This thread (albeit a little late) will cover the victories, losses, and straight what-the-fuck moments of Cody Strickland. Edited May 28, 2020 by AshenOne 3 1 Link to comment
Doosty
Early Years... Cody applied for the Los Santos Sheriff's Department on 20 March, 2020. The vetting process was quite extensive. However, nearly two grueling weeks of waiting and an interview later, he received the email of his dreams. The 'BOOT' phase... And so begins... well, the beginning. The joy-filled, inspiring sanity testing, character building gut-checks from anybody with a stripe on their arm. You're not just a bitch, you're the dirt the bitches themselves tread on. Paperwork, shit duties, pointless work? It's all part of the job. Welcome to the club, kiddo. Screenshots borrowed from Malcolm Sanders with permission. Thanks friend, much love. Day Two... Look mom, I did it! (13 April, 2020) Cody eventually does graduate from Field Training, earning his patrol badge and setting out to make his own way. He tosses out a shot in the dark, applying for the highly competitive Canine Services Detail (K-9). He doesn't have really any hope of making it, but hey. You miss every shot you don't take. Except... (23 April, 2020) (5 May, 2020) (17 May, 2020) UP-TO-DATE Edited May 28, 2020 by AshenOne 2 2 Link to comment
