In Sweden there's a tradition to eat lightly-salted, fermented Baltic Sea Herring, it has been a tradition since the 16th century. 
It's disgusting and if someone in your apartment complex opens a jar inside their own apartment the entire complex will smell for over a week.

 

We're a disgusting people, I know.

We also jump around a midsommarstång dancing like frogs whilst singing små grodorna.
