The most overlooked type of roleplay?

I've been roleplaying predominately female characters since I started roleplaying, and in real life I'm a male with a fiancee and a soon to be born daughter. It has nothing to do with sexuality, or gender behind one's screen... it has to do with common sense, and effort. 85% of the people who roleplay female characters only do it for the fact that; "It's easy to make money via prostitution or strip dancing", and they don't venture into other avenues of roleplay on their character. Bashing people for roleplaying a lesbian or bisexual female isn't going to help anything, and quite frankly it should be up to the person what they roleplay. But the issue is when people make a female character, just to grind money via prostitution for female and namechange after they've obtained $350,000 in their bank account.

I know this server is strict already, and for good reasons behind it. But in my honest opinion, the only way this will ever change is if Player Management also directs their focus to female characters who're simply made just for the benefit of assets. I know it's not what a lot of you will agree with, but if someone's making a character of a specific gender to simply just gain assets that should be honestly against the rules. I've seen really good examples of prostitute characters, escort characters and strip dancing characters... and I've also seen really bad examples where one of the three categories are simply made just for the money, with little to no other roleplay on the character and they namechange once they reach a specific amount of cash in their bank.

As for roleplaying actual female characters, I've really good and yet again really bad examples I'm in no way to judge anyone for their roleplay, and often help them out. But roleplaying a female character realistically just takes common sense to be honest.

You'd probably get more straight female RPers if male characters weren't so sleazy and prone to sexual harassment/assault.

Don't I know it.  One time I made a female character and she was attacked and chased for blocks within days of my creating her.  Then there were the foulmouthed harassers (talk about shitty portrayal) and the 'nice guys' who were waiting to turn into dangerous bitter assholes as soon as my character said no.  At least that was realistic.

As a straight female RPer, I usually find it hard to come across interesting, complex, male RPer's for any kind of mature relationship. I've even find it easier to find other straight females to roleplay friendship, than decent guys to roelplay a relationship or even friendship aswell.

Absolutely true.  More female players usually means a general improvement of rp.  I've seen it time and time again across many games and rp groups.

Thought it was obvious my issue was with bad portrayal, not homosexual RP.

You made that very clear, but bad portrayal, no matter what the character type, is a whole separate issue that I was not talking about.  I was talking about generally decent rpers who are making a good faith effort according to their rp ability.  People being uptight and scared is you putting your own perspective on what I said, not anything I said.  It's more like people might not want to spend their limited game time doing things they don't have an interest in.

Anyway, let's move back toward the topic.

the server might progress from the focus being Cops and Robbers (gov factions vs illegal factions) and more to an actual life based roleplay "simulation"

One can only hope.

any form of straight female

This. I have reached the point where I simply avoid such players & RP all of my characters to be homophobic, just to have an excuse to not be around the overwhelming amount of lesbians because it completely kills my wish to play this game.

This sounds more like a complaint rather than 'overlooked roleplay'. If this is so rare and compelling to roleplay, then why not help solve the issue and create a straight female character?

The reason why there are so many lesbian female characters is because 75% of the time the person OOCly has hopes of RP'ing with another woman through this type of relationship.

What they don't get is that gender behind the screen doesn't mean jack. RP is RP.

Overlooked type of RP in my opinion?

roleplaying realistic assets.

As an example... not being a mechanic and driving a $200,000+ car to your job in south LS.

I wish there’d be more enforcement on people’s assets, especially mechanics (and I say this as a former mechanic myself)

E-Sex (jk)

I think that will be boat RP (boat party, boat smuggling), fish RP (recreation and commercial), hunting RP (recreation and commercial), forest RP (camping, Lumberjack)

Regarding boat, this won't be viable until RageMP releases their 1.1 update since the sync is bad currently on the water
