During his earlier years, Rogers started playing Rancho Optimist Tackle football which was the start to his promising future as an athlete. Daveon was a sheltered child early on due to being raised around all women and his mother trying to hide his father's side of the family from him. This is due to his father being incarcerated on multiple counts of drug charges when Daveon was only five years old. Rogers' football dreams continued into high school when he started attending Carter Murray Charter High School, a school known for it's gang presence. Starting off as defensive tackle for junior varsity he helped his school achieve a total of three wins against rival schools and made the cut for varsity; usually for upper class-men. During this time is when he would more often see the side of the school which was famous for it's gang culture. Bringing his team closer and closer to a championship was the cause of him forming a bond with most of his team mates; attending various out-of-school events with them such as parties, practices and workouts. It wasn't until the summer of 2018 when Daveon attended a house party with a few team mates along with his older cousin; Ellis Duncan a/k/a Half Dead which also happened to have affiliations with one of the few neighboring street-gangs. During this party while dancing with a female he was jumped by a trio from one of the rival gangs adjacent to his cousin's due to one of them being in a relationship with said female. His cousin intervened and jumped into the fight in an attempt to defend Rogers but was identified as as member of an opposing gang. The trio left the party and returned twenty minutes later to open fire on Daveon and the group he attended the party with leaving his cousin shot & killed. This led to Daveon some-what abandoning his dreams as a football star and caused him to fall victim to the exposure of gang violence, being a turning point in his life where he started to show presence in the neighborhood more; often hanging around the wrong crowds and getting into trouble here-and-there. 2 Link to comment

Batter Up
Quote Following various shootings in-between members of Park Village Compton Crip and 92 Family Gangster Bloods, members of the 92FGB managed to escape one of the ambushes alive. The group as informed about these events and proceeded to politic among themselves about various ways to get their get-back. It was agreed that they would walk through the projects and shoot the first member from PVCC they spotted. After walking through the housing projects without spotting anybody they congregated at a local taco shop to speak about it, here's the aftermath: The Prologue Family First, Ion Got No Friends 92FGB vs PVCC — Play Ball / The Epilogue @Flame Edited August 14, 2020 by Batter Up Link to comment
Batter Up
Brackin Like Summer of '08 Quote INSIGHT: After the Rollin' 30s Harlem Crips performed a barrage of back-to-back shootings on members of IFGB it was decided that instead of playing the opposing role it was better to play the defense side of things. This resulted in one of the main shooters responsible from the R30's being struck by bullets from Daveon's weapon as they tried to speed off after shooting one of the local residents that resided within Rancho; clearly mistaken to be a member of IFGB.
