It's all possible. I personally have not seen or heard of many situations in or out of character that would cause such wild scenarios, but honestly with most things like this you just need to take the initiative to jumpstart this kind of roleplay. I believe the most recent protest I saw in-game was the one done by that Jewish taxi company.

If there's an actual IC reason that calls for a protest I'm sure it'd be completely possible to do so with the right applications. Also, remember, protests =/= riots.

Friendly reminder that protests can also have a peacul approach. Not everything has to be violent. Maybe setting up a camp in the street, blocking traffic, singing songs, maintaining speeches and so on, can also result in a peaceful resolve.

 

First make sure the cause of the protest has some common sense, is righteous, and the resolve is something applicable IG.
