Giles Posted February 18, 2020 Share Posted February 18, 2020 (edited) I propose an amendment to the follow rule. In the server rules it states: "Advertisements must not be spammed. Players are expected to be courteous when advertising. Posting several ads for the same business in a short period of time is considered a breach of this rule." If this is your intent, then why give Platinum and Gold donators a short ad timer of 3 and 5 minutes, respectively? This has led to an increase in spam ads that just create more reports for GTAW administration to take care of. Recently there are businesses who post the same business ad 7+ times within an hour (especially when its not busy) and its super annoying. When placing a business ad, you get a blip on the map. 15 minutes? I could agree with that. People can open up the map and see what's open, there's no need to spam an ad every three to six minutes. If you don't want people to spam ads as written in the rules, then I suggest you increase the global timer of 3 minutes and/or increase those personal timers.
