Coronavirus outbreak in Little Seoul
By Johnny Sanders | Feb 05th, 2020

On Feb. 4, three coworkers of the businessman in Little Seoul tested positive for the Coronavirus. These patients had had a meeting with the woman from Beijing. They were immediately isolated in LS hospital and one of them has shown signs of severe illness.

During her stay, the woman had contact with 30 people at least and had been well with no signs or symptoms of infection. She had become ill on her flight back to China and taken by ambulance to the hospital located at Bayside.

SAGOV declared the virus a global public health emergency, requiring states to ramp up their responses. Also, they told SA citizens not to visit Little Seoul and advised those who are already there to considering leaving. Medical experts said the most effective way to prevent the spread of disease is for people to wash their hands with soap and water.

If you have returned from China or visited Little Seoul in the last two weeks, please stay indoors and avoid contact with other people. If you get a cough, a high temperature or having difficulty in breath, call 911 and do not leave your house without getting advice from a doctor.
