Upbringing:

Bonnie lived everywhere. Being born before in a nice little apartment in New Orleans, after the divorce, her mother lost the apartment after her husband left. Without any place to live, Bonnie and her sister were forced to live in the different houses of whoever her mother was dating at the time, from a musclehead who worked out in the gym who lived in a somewhat decent apartment a few blocks from Bourbon Street, to a semi-successful car salesman who taught Bonnie about cars. He was, honestly, a bit of a ***, and he often used the girl to clean up his house and cook simple meals for him, Bonnie never liked him. When her mother wasn't around he always was creeping around her but he was talkative and a bit nice when he wasn't using her.

Biography:

Born in New Orleans to Kenny and Bertha Roberts, Bonnie and her sister Denise grew up in a humble apartment abode near the bayou. While they had to share a room, their lives growing up was average, though they never really had much aside from second-hand clothing and toys bought from discount bargain bins and sales. This was mostly due to her mother's penny pinching and the lack of money due to her spending habits and the money sink of the gift shop that she owned and worked long hours in. Long hours plagued the parents, often leaving Bonnie and her sister with a baby sitter in their younger years while they were still together. When the two finally did come home, nearly at the same time if Bertha didn't decide to put in a few extra hours, they would spend time with their kids together. Granted, Bertha was a lot less of a responsible parent than the father, Kenny. She did care about and love her two daughters; even if she did have a funny way of showing it.  Sometime after Denise's seventh birthday, a nasty divorce proceeding left the family splintered in two. Accusations of each of them cheating on each other was thrown around, and after the ruling was handed down, Bertha took to explaining to the two that Kenny had cheated on the her, and after a restraining order was handed down by the court to the father's constant attempts of getting in contact with the kids, he left New Orleans and his job and the last the two heard from him was when he was on a fishing trawler with his brothers.

During this period, after the divorce, and in her teenage years, Bonnie was living with her mother in motels until she found someone who she was dating that was willing to let her live with them. From a fitness guru to a therapist, to a novelist, to an abusive alcoholic police officer who her mother almost got married to, and a guitarist, Bonnie's life was a colorful array of people she met due to her mother's sleeping around, and boy did she sleep around. Most of her boyfriends only really lasted a few months at a time before she moved on, the longest being the police officer which was a year before her mother dumped him due to her finally having enough of the physical abuse he put her through. Bonnie, however, hardly really even stayed home. She was often with friends, taking pictures, or drawing in a notebook or at school. She made it a point to stay as far away from home as possible whenever she could. Home had a funny way of catching up with Bonnie, however. Nights with the breakups between her mother and her potential suitors often had the girl come back to comfort and console the woman while she drank herself to sleep in the lowest priced motel room they could find until her mother finally found another man to stay with. Those days where she couldn't spend with friends was spent outside until late at night when she snuck into the motel room to a worried mother or a caring man who was dating her mother in the house they were staying at. She got food from fast food places after either taking a few dollars from her mother or asking for some from a nice suitor who was dating her mother at the time. Sometimes she would even cook something in men's houses, or TV dinners and precooked meals in the microwave of the motels they stayed in. This all continued when she was eighteen, Bonnie got herself a job as an exotic dancer in a gentleman's club until she decided to move to San Andreas after she fell out with her mother.
