david78999
While playing single player free-roam, I get 50-60 FPS. When I connect to the server and walk around, I get 15-25 FPS with insane stuttering help please. I cant find a way to change the settings on the actual server so I'd have to change the settings on single player, do the single player settings actually carry over? Dano
It happens due to the launcher and how the multi-player system works. It effects everyone, even if you get decent to great FPS in single-player. Link to comment
Arthur
As Dano said, the FPS issue is client sided. However, I'd suggest playing on window mode, boosted my FPS greatly. Link to comment
taylor
Yes, the single player changes do carry over but there is a problem with GTMP's client in matter of frames per second. We're waiting for their next update in order to improve it. What you should do now is lowering your settings to make it playable and eventually play windowed. Link to comment
Ervious
Here's been same problem, but with crashes involved. There are some fixes that might help you. Link to comment

Bospy
If none of these suggestions work, you may need to wait for a GT:MP update. At the moment it causes memory leaks similar to PUBG, for example. Link to comment
CrewMaster
It's a common error most likely from the client. Well yes you need to wait for the client developers to fix this issue. As far as I know, they are well aware of this problem and might be coming out with a solution or trying to fix it. Link to comment
