Did Menyoo change GTAWorld?

Another issue is that I've never seen some of the characters IG at all. I wonder if they're there just to flex on FB and milk those likes.

I agree to an extent, however, commissioned mods aren’t my issue, the consistent inability to find a parallel for characters in menyoo and in game is the issue. Commissioned mods are fine as it shows individuality and if that’s how you want to spend your money then do it.

If you are talking about my "example" that's not from Facebrowser. It's from Rockstar's Social Club ?

Although, thinking about it I think the real question is: Has Facebroswer changed GtaW. Not so much Menyoo.

I'm sure Facebrowser is what makes GTA:W unique. Would've been better imo if it was called LifeInvader and IC jobs were available. Perhaps that way actual moderation of it could've been a thing.

Menyoo stuff can actually open up an IC job. Photography job for example; they'd still have to actually shoot in game ICly with effort to try and get them in good angles etc. and then the photographer just have to recreate it in menyoo for depth of field and more feature added.

 

Then as mentioned above by @Invictus I very much agree that it is bothering when a character can be as hot as Harry Styles or Camila Cabello but then very ugly in-game.

 

(Not part of the argument) I wish you can record in RageMP and put it into rockstar editor. So, pure GTAW no menyoo no singleplayer.

The main issue is people editing their pictures/characters beyond recognition in the server.

Apart from that Menyoo is extremely useful as it offers a lot of animations that aren't in the server. Not only that but you have the use of Rockstar Editor which goes hand in hand with menyoo.

The only problem I see is people invading private property without RP, I've seen many people in Michael's pool or Madrazo's house when it's almost impossible to be there.

 

I don't see bad the use of Mods for faces, hairs or clothes, people decide how their character is, but as the game and the server are limited in this aspect, you have to use Mods to put your character to your liking, even if the server looks different, your character looks like you want it to look, not how the server wants your character to look, Or are we going to also oppose the /attributes if we put on a different face than the one seen on the server?

People are achieving things in-game by using Menyoo out of the game that they otherwise wouldn't have achieved via the script. Because nobody cares to regulate the usage of it, it's abused by the majority of people that like to play as females without understanding exactly how to roleplay a female so just prance around in pretty dresses and make-up and insult people on Facebrowser for the fuck of it. As long as Facebrowser exists, so will Menyoo. 

 

And lets be honest... Facebrowser is going nowhere because it keeps the loud majority happy that'll otherwise leave because they have nothing else to do other than have sex, talk dirty on the platform and post soft core porn pictures of their characters using Menyoo to tweak it up.

 

You encourage stupidity, you attract stupidity and then it multiplies like a bacterial host. It's too far into Facebrowser now to turn back so complaining really doesn't get you anywhere and most of the time when you do complain you get into trouble for doing so.

to get a little on that last point: for some people, that's quite literally just a timezone/inability to get on often, just cause you don't see em ig doesn't mean they aren't ig ever. a lot of people on gtaw (including the ones doing a lot of the "fb like milking/flexing" have IRL jobs and conflicting timezones that keep em busy, at least the ones I know, can't imagine it's entirely different for the others.

i see their point in that would you rather spend a few minutes IG walking around doing absolutely fuck all with no RP cus there's not really much to do if your characters friends aren't on and there are no places open because it's not peak hours of the server, OR would you rather spend a few minutes in singleplayer getting a pic for your characters social media? arguably just as useless as those wasted minutes IG, however much more entertaining typically.

Not everyone can just log on and be on 24/7 hounding story plot RP so everyone sees them and knows they log in and are active, and that's the case for a lot of the main characters of the players doing that. Alts that are just for fun that post mostly on fb but aren't IG are a whole nother thing entirely though.

Not saying that's everyone doing it, but the people I commonly see/hear about insulting people oocly just cause they spam pics on fb are pretty much that stereotype, usually.

I personally think people are kinda going crazy over menyoo for p much no real reason. It reeeally aint that deep. It's just pictures on IC social media lol. Certain kinds are bad, yes, but the whole "MUH MUH ALL U DO IS PICS UR BAD GO IG MORE" is kinda stupid. What if they can't? If you don't even rp with the person or want to RP with them then why even waste energy complaining about them lmao.

There's a small problem in a general slightly less active /portion/ of the community but not enough that it actually affects anything. I'm on at random ass times in different timezones and I always see the same people that were active before menyoo active now, so IDK why everyone seems to think it's ruining the server lol. P sure they're overreacting cause they're annoyed that people paid money and got to use the boost feature that comes with it on fb (which I understand, but it's still kinda childish)
