Carson Mafia Gangsters

The Carson Mafia Gangster Bloods are a large and long standing African-American street gang whose roots can be traced back to the western section of the Davis neighborhood. The Carson Mafia Gangster Bloods formed during the late 1970s by a man known on the streets as “Big Fase” in the western district of Davis. This gang is a spin-off of the Davis Family Gang, who they consider a close ally. The area in which the Carson Mafia Gang claim as their territory is known as "The Bottoms", which is centered around Carson Avenue and Covenant Avenue, on Brouge Street. The "Bottoms" is a rundown neighborhood filled with single story houses and is the main stronghold for the Carson Mafia Gangsters and is often described as a gang-ridden district with a high crime rate, as evidenced by the

ominous gang presence and graffiti. The Carson Mafia Gangster Bloods are rivals of the Davis Park Neighborhood Crip, East Coast Crips, Osage Village Crips, All Neighborhood Crips, All Hoover Criminal Gangs, and Forum Hustler Crips

Today, the gang is responsible for several murders through out South Los Santos, which seems to be mainly fueled by social media. During a violent night full of gang-related shootings n South Los Santos, a woman was fatally shot in the head and a 10-year-old girl was shot in her leg. The shooting happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. Friday on Strawberry Avenue. The woman, who was in her 20s, was believed to have been shot in the back of the head while behind the wheel. The victim drove several blocks before dying in her car. Police later detained at least one person in the shooting who is linked to the Carson Mafia Gangster Bloods, and is believed to be gang-related. The 10-year-old girl was crossing the street at the time of the shooting. She was struck by gunfire and left with a graze wound. She is expected to recover, police said. Two suspects were last seen taking off in a GMC suburban. It's unclear whether the person detained is one of those suspects.

1980s To Present

With the arrival of crack at the dawn of the 80s, the situation worsens. The money generated by the sale of cocaine allows gangs to arm themselves heavily and gain significant fame. Unemployment being crippling for blacks during this same period, the sale of narcotic drugs became a real option for youth and an easy way for gangs to swell their ranks. The drug brought a new mentality of "eating each other first": a violent and destructive philosophy with the aim of generating money quickly. As the homicide rate increased dramatically, the gangs became increasingly uncontrollable. The Carson Mafia Gangsters did not miss the rule and played their own role in this murderous madness. During the outbreak, the gang was fighting a ruthless war with their rivals the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, and had ongoing beef with almost every Crip gang on the West Side. After years of violence, the war between Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips and Carson Mafia Gangsters gradually calmed down: the new methods used by the LSPD were more effective than ever, damaging criminals and causing many casualties in their ranks. Among these losses are the death of Jamel "Tank" Gallows, respected member of the Carson Mafia Gangsters, was shot and killed in front of his house by two Sixty Neighborhood Crips on June 19, 1986.

Despite the temporary calm, the hatred accumulated on both sides was too strong to consider peace and the war resumed. In 1989, the bloodshed between the two gangs made headlines in the city, shining the spotlight on violence in the southern neighborhoods of Los Santos. The animosity that was taking place in these neighborhoods besieged the normal inhabitants who could no longer let the children out because of the sudden gunshots. With an unprecedented rate of 507 homicides. Due to the continuous gang related crimes have risen in the past years, the youngest generation was left without control or leadership, causing a major imbalance to the neighborhood, Until recently, the band was small but very active. According to the LS Times' Homicide Report, Davis was the most dangerous principality for a young African-American in 2018-2019 and the City Hall encircled in response the neighborhood of surveillance cameras.
