Prelude

In 1991,  Tony Biase, boss of the Omaha Nebraska Crime Family, passed away due to natural causes in South Omaha.  1991 was a quiet time for Omaha's criminal underworld.  Riddled with mostly bookies, loansharks, pimps & just a few drug dealers, the feds have not managed to consider the families in Omaha an extreme issue.  The organization most known in Omaha has held power there for the entirety of their stay, reigning supreme over other midwestern crews located in Nebraska since the very existence of Tony Biase.  But during this time period, a memorable stew in the Cosa Nostra communities formed.  After the death of Tony Biase, the Omaha underworld stopped.  Families and crews from Nebraska all attended Biase's wake & funeral services, wishing each other the best, secretly plotting against each other for power after the boss of the main family had died.  Members from the Civella family out of Kansas City Missouri came out to pay their respects.  A few Gambino & Lucchese guys from NY.   A number of members from the Giordano family out of St. Louis attended without any qualms.  But there was one family from the very same area, the very same neighborhood Tony Biase operated in that came to pay their respects, a family that would soon prove to be less important to the people of this gathering.  Members from Omaha's Luppino family had come to pay their respects to the kingpin of Omaha Nebraska, seeing that they had a tolerable and pleasant relationship up as the underdogs until this point.

The Luppino family makes birth.

Around 30 years earlier, In 1960, The Luppino family started fully and thoroughly establishing around Omaha Nebraska, 7 years after a murder of a local gambler named Edward McDermott in 1953.  McDermott's murder had surfaced in the local media airwaves, drawing up an interest in local law enforcement endeavors around Omaha.  To this day, the murder of Edward McDermott has not been confirmed whether or not the gambler's fate came at the hands of Biase's local organization or the families located outside of Nebraska.  Little did the feds ever know, Paul Luppino, long time friend of Tony Biase and Biase's organization carried out the murder.  Paul Luppino was born in Chicago and was an inducted member of the Capone Family from Chicago.   Luppino eventually moved out to Nebraska for two reasons.  To avoid stints with Chicago's law enforcement agencies & to strengthen relationships with Tony Biase.  Paul's job was to go out to Omaha by himself and strengthen relationships with Tony Biase's organization for the Capone Family.  After taking out Edward McDermott, Luppino earned extremely high respects from both Tony Biase, Louis Fratto, boss of the Capone family at the time, and other local bosses like Nicky Civella.  Luppino has completed his task and earned himself a highly memorable name in the Mid-Western mob, earning the blessing to start his own family in Omaha Nebraska.  That December, after the McDermott murder, Tony Biase was surprisingly convicted on a number of federal narcotics charges, crippling the Omaha organization for 15 years.  Paul Luppino offered his deepest condolences to the Omaha family and promised to have their back for as long as Biase was in prison, till the very day he was released.  This gave the Luppino family enough room to develop without any serious issues from the family they have just recently made extremely happy.  This would serve perfectly as their gateway into Omaha.

Now, although Paul Luppino and Tony Biase operated in the same neighborhoods, they maintained quite a pleasant friendship thanks to Luppino's work involving the McDermott murder.  Where one would think that these two would hate each other's guts, it would actually prove to another that they were indeed very close, very good friends.  The recently blessed Luppino family was welcomed into Omaha with open arms by the already established family.   So over the course of roughly 15 years, they have molded and worked side by side with each other.  Political relationships remained strong despite a few major stints and beefs between the soldiers of each family.  While Biase's organization dominated all of Omaha, the Luppino family had a strong hold on more Northern Omaha, as to where southern Omaha has been controlled by Biase's organization since the start.  It would be safe to say these beefs and stints caused a never-ending tension between the two families, who sought out to remain friends for as long as they both existed in Omaha.  It would also be safe to say, it was a very strong, very valuable relationship slowly getting more and more sour by the year of each decade that passed them by.  After Biase's release, he'd come to learn how the Luppino family had treated them with extreme respect for the 15 years he was gone, and appreciated that to no end.  However, the small beefs and stints transpiring between the Luppino Family and the Omaha Family were beginning to annoy Biase just 5 years after he was out of prison, in 1980.  Ten more years went by and the relationship had still survived.

The end of an era.

In 1983, Paul Luppino died at age 71 due to complications of diabetes.  Of course, midwestern gangsters from Omaha and the usual suspects came to pay their respects.  Tony Biase came to pay his respects as well, as power had shifted out of his hands in his family little by little.  With the new generations basking in their age advantages, older members of LCN like Tony Biasi, Louis Fratto, Paul Luppino, Nicky Civella & other bosses started to die out.  The end of an era was afoot, it was a sad time for old school gangsters in this time.  Paul Luppino's successor as boss was a harshly disliked, foul mouthed man by the name of Carlo Paparello.  With Paparello in charge of the Luppino family from 1983 to 2017, he has caused nothing but trouble with the Omaha family.  He even proved to have a lack of respect for Paul Luppino, his deceased boss, because he was "too soft" on Biase's organization.  Paparello was highly disliked by the Midwest community and broke the straw on the camel's back when Biase had passed away.  Just 8 years after Luppino's death, Tony Biase's funeral is now in session.  The local wiseguys go on to talk about what a great man Biase was, as they share happy memories about Paul Luppino & Tony.  With a mean sneer, Carlo Paparello opens his mouth in an extremely rude, disrespectful way.  Right in the middle of the wake service, Carlo told Tony's successors that Tony Biase isn't anything more than just "Another dead old guy."  Enraged by Paparello's disrespect, the members of Biase's organization demanded that Paparello leave the ceremony and take his members with him.  Sadly, members of the Luppino organization were forced to leave as a result of Carlo Paparello's disrespect, even the ones who respected Tony so highly.  Friendships amongst organizations were starting to whither away.  Bridges begun to burn in both organizations, since that day.  And for another 34 years, these two families co-existed in Omaha Nebraska without going to war.

The prick. (Luppino's 2nd era)
It's 2012, 21 years after a long and salty friendship since the deaths of their original bosses.  Omaha's organization kept the names of their new leadership secret since Tony died, and used soldiers as messengers instead.  Through this new strategic secrecy, they were able to execute a very well thought out plan to seize control over Omaha in it's entirety, 21 years after the death of Tony Biase.  Carlo Paparello has spent 26 years of his life avoiding members of the Biase organization after the incident at Biase's wake.  Instead, he treated his turfs like his own but still followed the rules agreed upon by both families in the beginning.  "No war, ever."  The tension had grew so bad between both families over the course of time, that they both wound up avoiding each other to simply avoid starting a war, throwing a 50+ year friendship "out of the window" as they'd mutter among themselves.  So the leaders of the Biase organization made it known that they wanted the Luppino Family out of Nebraska, for good.  The members of the Biase organization presented the idea that since they were there in Omaha first, they have say in who is official and who is unofficial in Nebraska.  When presented with the thought/ultimatum through a few board members from Kansas City, Paparello acted as everyone predicted he would, even in old age.  Carlo told the Civella family and the Biase family to go fuck themselves.   This was a bad year for the Luppino organization, because that same year, they lost a very capable and trustworthy captain by the name of Leonard Cicciarello.  He was arrested on federal charges of "tax evasion" and "money laundering" and then sentenced to 5 years in prison on September 6th, 2012.

The Biase-Luppino turmoil, 2012-2017.
For the last 5 years, The Luppino family's involvement with the law had skyrocketed.  People were starting to become brought back to how Tony Biase met his demise at the hands of the law and frequently compared it to the past five years.  People have been selling out their operations, turning statements on them and cooperating with the police.   Similar behavior that wound Leonard up in jail.  Come July 2017, Carlo Paparello and his entire board were indicted and convicted on federal racketeering charges.  Local businessman Jackson Mars had turned statements on Carlo Paparello, his consigliere & one of his captains for a bustout deal that went sour for Jackson.  Jackson was put in the witness protection program after his testimony while Carlo Paparello and his board members were each sentenced to 25 years in prison, which in turn would serve as a death sentence at their age.  It has become official in September, 2017.  The Luppino Family is FINISHED in Omaha Nebraska.

September 1st, 2017.  Leonard Cicciarello, ex Luppino captain comes home to a Biase controlled neighborhood.  He learns through an old friend in the Biase organization that Luppino was pushed out on behalf of the Midwest.  However, there remained a friend in this man.  He told Leonard to get in contact with someone he knew from Chicago, a buddy in the Chicago outfit.  He mentioned to Leonard that certain families are not happy at all with Biase's organization going to Missouri's families to help stage a coupe, even if Paparello was a prick.  He himself even agreed that what the Biase Family did to the Luppinos was not done in the correct spirit, but what's done is done.  Leonard was spared the misery of defeat and was abruptly allowed to leave after he shown his face.  During this meeting, he had told Leonard that he condemns the actions of Biase's family, stating they had no business pushing the Luppinos out.  But out of respect for who they are, they told Leonard that they worked out a deal with the families in Los Santos in order for their arrival to be considered official.  Los Santos families have agreed to let the Luppino Organization operate city wide, tax-free, out of respect for their most recent hardships.  The only order the Luppino family was given by the families in Chicago is, was to promise that when they arrive in Los Santos, they still keep that same respect for the rules they had when they left Omaha peacefully, without a war.

In the end, not going to war earned the Luppino family a decent amount of respect on the East coast and the West coast, though some folk in the Midwest may already have natural qualms with them.  But the good news is, the Luppino family still reigns as an official family in the Cosa Nostra community.  Word gets passed along that the Luppino family was down, but far from out.  Rumor had it that a new boss has already been chosen in the Luppino family's new leadership, and there were only many more changes to come as the new members pick up the pieces of their broken family.

The start of a new era.
In late October, shortly after his release and realization that he had no more future in Nebraska, he had his sights set on Los Santos.  He worked his way into the streets from scratch, with the men he considered dear.  He managed to make contact with a few other "friends" in the city, outside of their organization, not their society.  He then would go on to reorganize his ranks with the key people who voted him in as new boss after Paparello & his entire board's indictments.  Jerry Delfini, Larry Corvotti, Georgie Calcagno, Phil Romano, all recognized names in Nebraska's criminal society.  All of these men reorganized their organization within two weeks.  Larry, Lenny's old cell-mate came out of prison around the time Lenny did, and started the Luppino family's very first crew in Los Santos, in the third era.  Jerry Delfini took council, helping out with the hard calls and keeping the rules advised and on the table.  Phil Romano served as the family's Underboss in these times of recovery, advising and overseeing the growth of the first crew.  Larry brought in a guy from Youngstown, Pete Romagnoli. He brought in a kid named Francis Marchetti, from Los Santos and guys like "Gio" Cullotta straight in from the other side.  All of these names eventually grew into the organization that made up today's Luppino organization.

Moving and avoiding retaliation against the Biase organization's covert tactics, it wasn't easy for these boys, despite their progress.  For Lenny and his group, it was a hard pill to swallow.  Besides that, the new people were showing up late or not showing up at all, weren't paying tribute to their higher ups, it was a shit show.  No respect, he'd figure.  But just as things seemed to be getting either much much better or a little more worse each day, things most certainly got much much worse for this group of struggling outcasts.  They had a run in with one of the Bonnanos in Los Santos, one that ended out of both of their favor.  Far far away from home, Leonard thought. The soldier in the New York family drew his gun on Leonard Cicciarello, not 1 month after he made his presence known in the new city.  This started a major, major issue for the family and Leonard himself, unbeknownst to him.  When a 62 year old man, seemingly at the end of his rope goes into a dark place, the lights go out and darkness takes over.  This cornered old man went into that darkness, and came out with eyes as black as night.  No question, it was obvious to even his own members, Ole Cici was done being pushed around.  He really went into the darkness, they say.  Leonard organized a strategic place to stay while he started making ultimatums and playing with this guy's head.  Delfini and Corvotti coordinated outside moves to reach out to their reserved group of friends.  He used his temper to confuse and manipulate the members of the said crew.  He made phone calls and started rumors as if he was picking away at his prey before his meal.  And in just one very long, very drawn out month, 6 people, 4 of which were Luppino affiliated were murdered.  It got ugly enough to make a lifetime stink over, as he dispatched his very few scouts and hitters.  As the shit began to hit the fan, out of the endless blue, members of this so called "crew" had somehow ceased to exist. Paranoid for several weeks, holed up in the same house, staring at the same walls, he'd soon come to hear that there is no longer any trace of this rivaling crew.  Not a single person has seen a single face for two weeks.  It was official, they ran.  Word got out, bosses contacted Leonard and set out to meet with his Consigliere to get the scoop.  After a very short lived debate on the meaning of this chaos, they decided to give Leonard a pass, in regards to his recent complications.  They asked that Leonard try to promote growth, now that they're out, and let all the bad blood die, should they ever return.  This meant victory in the eyes of the stubborn, jaded old man.  Coming out of his shell, Leonard capitalized heavily and eventually took over Los Santos's Cosa Nostra underworld, assuming the role as Capo Di Tutti Capi or "Boss of all bosses."   He spends his days waiting for someone he approves of to sit on the board with him, to expand opportunity for Cosa Nostra as a whole in the city.

Re-establishing, Leonard formed an alliance with other groups in the city, outside of their own.  He did right by a few folks who meant something, they did right by him right back.  As new relationships developed, this group slowly formed into what's known in Los Santos's streets today as "the council."  A multi-organization super alliance, bound by rules and standards set by all parties involved, for a better class of their city's gangsters.  This became the nail in the coffin,  Leonard Cicciarello has fully and officially rekindled the Luppino family, with the help of the people he spent over fourty years of his life with in Omaha.

Today, Leonard Cicciarello spearheads the organization, while his members develop a reputation of their own.  He is totally unknown by authorities and has not developed a single criminal charge since his release six months ago.  He spends most of his recent days with his wife Lucy, and his daughter Dianna, keeping tabs on his close and valued friends.  Having avoided war twice, one by choice, one by coercion, he continues to expand his empire using the business fronts his family took up for legal income, leading a double life as a friendly midwestern family man, and the boss of Los Santos's brand new addition to the long list of organized crime groups.  The Luppinos have successfully set up rackets and fronts all over the city, thanks to their loyalty and teamwork.  Construction, drug trafficking and arms trafficking earned them their nut in the beginning, until they got into gambling, prostitution, porn, car theft, money laundering, loansharking, blackmail, fraud, extortion, kidnapping for ransom against their enemies and of course, murder where it was deemed necessary.  Rumors in the street suggest that the "italians" are suspected to be responsible for at least 10 to 12  gangland murders since their 5-6 month arrival in late october. In just 6 short months, they doubled, then tripled in size.  Truth be told, the Luppinos have officially made their comeback in Los Santos, and they took it by force.

OOC info;

  • Your character must be of Italian descent in order to get fully inducted into the family.
  • You must have decent general knowledge of the way roleplay works.
  • You must be willing to learn as you go, nobody knows everything.
  • You must speak basic English, if your English is broken, we can fix it using IC means until you get better.

This faction is fictionally based off of the non fictional murder of Edward McDermott, that took place in 1953.  In 1960, Luppino was established in Omaha Nebraska.  We aim to portray a realistic mob faction that has been established for 57 years total.  The Luppino crime organization is a fictional underdog family that existed among Tony Biase's organization in Omaha Nebraska.  It is a Midwestern based "Cosa Nostra" faction.  You can expect there to be fraternal rules among the members of this faction.  Anyone who thinks that La Cosa Nostra is a lawless society in today's day and age hasn't done enough research to understand that the politics were always there, and are still there to this day.  Sure, rules get broken, but don't forget to ask yourselves what the end result usually wound up being for those folks.  While we allow players to make characters that cater to a more modern era of La Cosa Nostra, don't think that old rules don't apply in some cases.  Anyone who seeks to make a character in this faction is expected to know that we are a faction based around CHARACTER development.  As a member of this faction, you are expected to roleplay a character's realistic personality traits day by day.  You are expected to live a day-by-day lifestyle.  Waking up, getting ready for "work", doing activities, meeting people, going home, going to sleep, rinse and repeat.  Please do not for the sake of anything creative assume that this faction is here for the "power" or the "money" when you join this faction.  We actually find it insulting as a collective that people would join this faction for any reason other than the simple desire to develop a character with us.

We plan to keep this a friendly, approachable and welcoming faction.  Please follow the server rules to the best of your ability.  Be nice to each other and the community members.  If you are a troll, or a subpar roleplayer, we will not condone any foolish behavior.  We will not punish you any further than the staff will, but when it starts affecting us as a faction, where you earn our faction a strike or something of that nature, you will more than likely be removed while we appeal our strike.  No faction deserves to be punished because of the singular wrongdoing of one person.  But one person is all it takes to get the entire staff team and community generalizing a faction.

Character kill standards:  ((  MUST READ, NO EXCUSES :)  ))

Spoiler

Upon the immediate point of becoming an associate you wave your rights in advance to further develop the character you joined with, outside of this faction.  Why?  Because you have just given your CK agreement to the entire faction.  The only way your character will leave this faction is if he kills his way out, rats his way out, or dies.  All of these typically result in death, in the near or far future, so remember, don't get too attached to your character if you plan on being silly with it at any given point.

CK agreements are given to the faction, not the boss.  In other words, anybody who has given their CK agreement to this faction can be killed by ANY OTHER MEMBER, who has permission to CK people in this faction.

CKing the boss or your captain for the sake of wanting to "take over" in this faction will not be accepted.  Other reasons outside of being an opportunist must be used.  A superior must have violated your character ICly in some type of way that would earn someone a political or dynamic reason to want to murder them.  All of these types of CKs will be discussed afterwards, for authenticity, and can be overturned by the majority of the leading members of the faction only.  (Board members.)

CK rules among ranks:

Spoiler

Associates do not have CK permission.
Soldiers, can only CK associates and other soldiers.
Captains can only CK soldiers, associates and other captains.
Board members can CK captains, soldiers, associates and other board members, boss included.

Boss can CK anyone in the faction.

Conspiracies and mutinies have to ICly work their way up the ranks enough to kill the boss according to these rules.

Nobody can revoke CK agreements at all, not the boss, not the board, nobody.  Once you're in this faction, it's ours, no such agreements regarding CK's outside of this very rule on this thread is valid, be it on discord, skype, teamspeak, any third party communication apps.  Not vocally or contextually.

You do not have to be informed OOCly, you AUTOMATICALLY have given your CK agreement to the faction the moment you join (as an affiliate).  Trying to get your CK permissions revoked after you know things have went bad with the faction will be more than frowned upon here.  Failing to understand this in advance is your own fault because it has been posted here as fair warning.

Shooting it out with the cops, and dying, will earn you a CK.  No excuses.

INACTIVITY WARNING!!!!
Please click and read the spoiler below, for info on inactivity in this faction.

Spoiler

What constitutes inactivity in this faction?
1 to 1.5 hours a day, per 30 days, ON AVERAGE.  If you fail to meet this requirement, shown directly to me in the UCP, you're shelved.  If you tell us you will be inactive, you may be shelved depending on how long, but we'd appreciate it.  You will be commended for letting us know you will be inactive in advance.  You will not receive any sympathy if you fail to tell us you will be inactive in advance.  Your rank will be removed and you will not get it back until you pay the consequences for the inactivity.

What does "shelved" mean?
When you're shelved it means you're not exactly retired but you're inactive.  You hold no actual weight over anyone who is active in the streets.  For example, made guys coming off of the shelf have far less leg room than say that of an active made guy, so if you're a shelved made guy, remember to be respectful IG when you come back, because you might disrespect the wrong one.

Is being shelved a bad thing?
Yes and no.  It doesn't mean you're kicked out of the faction.  It does mean you are relieved of your duties in this faction until further notice.  Another good part of this is, you decide when that further notice is, you may want to come back or you may never come back.  We do care, but we have no time to fuss over it.  The bad part is, when you do come back, you don't hold as much political weight as an active member.  Not until you pay the price for being inactive, anyway.  The thing is, if you're inactive OOCly, you're inactive ICly too.  Because this is a "day by day" "week by week" faction.  We still appreciate you in advance and you're welcome back whenever you want.  It doesn't mean you're kicked from the faction.  It just means, you're not that important anymore. :}

(TLDR)]How do I wind up getting shelved?
Go under 1-1.5 hours a day, per day, per 30,  you are AUTOMATICALLY  considered shelved.  And will likely be uninvited till you fix it.

If you tell us in advance you will be taking a long break, we will consider you "on hold" instead of shelved.

How do I avoid getting shelved?
Stay active.  Log in every few days if need be, you don't need to log on every single day.  You must actively create roleplay for factions members above and under you.  If you're going on a 2 week or more vacation, tell a faction member.  We will consider you "on hold" instead of shelved for the time you are away.  Communication is a serious part of this faction.

If I pay my tax for being shelved, do I get my rank back?
If you're a street guy, you'll be reprimanded how your superior deems fit.   But you're ultimately holding back your own development.  Depending on your captain, it's a toss up.  You will likely lose any chance or thought of your character becoming a soldier in that very moment.   You might have to start from square 1 again, to prove you're reliable enough.  When a made guy gets shelved, he might get taxed.  He will never be murdered for his inactivity, unless it has been OK'd by that character's captain.

Gerald "Jerry" Delfini

Gerald Delfini, born in 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri. Gerald grew up with two brothers and a sister in a family of six with his mother and father. Gerald's father, Giovanni Delfini, was 24 years old when he was drafted into US Army for the Vietnam war in 1964. He was called to serve his country and leave his future wife, Mary Springer, behind in Kansas City, only for her to hope he'd survive. He went through boot camp and training only to be wounded in action in 1965. His wounds were significant enough for him to be sent back home only with a purple star in hand. Giovanni and Mary reunited after Giovanni's short lived stunt in the US Army, they married 1967 and had their first born child, Gerald, in 1968.

Gerald grew up in Kansas City and lived there until about the age of 19. He was a trouble maker as a younger guy, not being shown much discipline, or showing much respect for authority, only after hearing his father's complaints about being forced into the war by the US government. Gerald somehow managed to get through his teenage years pretty much unscathed from any sort of police record. When he was 19, he and a buddy of his decided to make their move to Omaha, Nebraska where their plan was to do some side work in Omaha while they went into Lincoln to mess around with the college girls at the University of Nebraska. While they had their fun with the college girls, after about a year, their jobs weren't bringing in enough cash to pay for all their expenses. During their stint of working they met a guy named, Charles Baldini, that made note that he had connections and was able to get them some extra cash if they ever needed it. So after a brief deliberation, Gerald and his buddy, hit the guy up and he put them to work. This is when Gerald was introduced to a whole new world he thought only existed in the movies.

After about a year of doing quick jobs, Gerald was still sticking with Charles. Gerald was making some damn good cash doing this work and it was easy. Beat up some prick, rob a kid, shoot some dice. Simple shit. Gerald's buddy, the one he moved to Omaha with, had already gone back to Kansas City after a couple months, so he was out of the picture. It was 1989 at the time and Charles went ahead and introduced Gerald to Leonard Cicciarello. All of this was about 5 years after Paul Luppino died, and so the relationship with the Biase Family is dwindling and the hate for the current boss, Carlo Paparello, is pretty well known if you're not deaf. Leonard Cicciarello, well known in the family, is as about as real as it gets when coming to a old school, don't give a fuck, gangster, and young Gerald knew that. Soon after Leonard's and Gerald's first encounter Charles Baldini got his button, working under his newly promoted captain, Leonard. This was tremendous news for Gerald, as Charles almost instantly took Gerald under his wing. Gerald was finally getting some serious connections into the family.

Years pass for Gerald, Charles, and the Cicciarello crew. Tony Biase's death has passed and tensions feel they have never been higher with the Biase Family. Carlo Papperllo continues to be disrespectful to past agreements with the families and it almost feels like anything can click off at any moment. While a lot of the family is focused on the tensions. Gerald is doing his thing. Making connections, earning, and building a young crew of his own. Gerald's progress doesn't go unnoticed with his newly discovered credit card scheme, bringing in some serious cash for the Cicciarello Crew. The year hits 2001 and whispers of Gerald's time of getting the button begin to surface, and it's only in due time that Gerald gets his call. However, his friend Charles has become increasingly agitated at Carlo Paparello's actions. He let's it be known to Carlo and disagreements occur, making it difficult for Gerald to earn his button. Finally, in 2002, Gerald earns his button thanks to some convincing from Leonard Cicciarello to Papparello. Not much changes afterwards for Gerald except the increased responsibility, but only after a couple hiccups, he grows into the role well.

2012 hits, and Gerald has loyally worked under Cicciarello for ten years. However, the family's involvement in Law enforcement continues to increase and the family feels to be breaking apart. Carlo Paparello has ruined any chance of the Luppino Family peacefully staying in Omaha with the Biase family. Leonard Ciccarello is convicted and jailed for Tax fraud and Money Laundering after a trusted businessmen, decides to save his own skin and rat out the loyal captain. Shortly after Leonard's arrest more and more soldiers and captains begin to get pinched by law or find themselves in hiding. Gerald tries to keep his crew together and run the show, but the police presence on the family is far to strong for any moves to be made. Finally the final straw is when the entire board and Carlo Paparello are indicted under federal racketeering charges. Gerald finally decides to go into hiding, trusting only one associate as a runner.

Finally 2017 hits and rumors of Leonard Cicciarello's release from jail come to fruition. Gerald eventually links up with Cici and make plans to get operations up and running again. Only this time, not in Omaha. They received a blessing from the Capello family, located in Arizona, to restart their operations in Los Santos, San Andreas. Leonard and Gerald start their expedition to Los Santos. Leonard as the boss and Gerald as his consigliere.
