MoCityDon Posted August 9, 2019 Share Posted August 9, 2019 (edited) Info Name: Adarryl "Byrd" Laurent Date of Birth: August 1st, 2002 (Age 17) Appearence Height: 6'0 ft Weight: 145 lbs Build: Athletic Eye color: Brown Adarryl "Byrd" Laurent was born and raised in his Aunt Linda's two bedroom house on Brouge Avenue. His father was never involved in his life whatsoever, while his mother simply struggled to support him financially and had to get her sister to take him in when he was just a young child. What was supposed to be a few months living with his Aunt Linda turned into a permanent resolution after his mother started to focus more on dating men, as oppose to raising and taking care of her own son, to her sister's dismay. She still comes around from time to time to visit her son, talking on the phone three times a month at that, but Adarryl's gotten used to it, and sees his Aunt Linda as his own mother more than his actual mom. When he was just an infant, Adarryl suffered from Pectus carinatum, a genetic disorder that makes the chest jut out forward. He had this disorder for around a year, until his bones grew big enough to be able to undergo surgery to get them fixed. In this time, his older cousin Ke'Andre Laurent made fun of his infant cousin and decided to call him "Bird" because his disorder reminded him of a bird's chest sticking out. This nickname stuck with Adarryl for the rest of his life, and only his day ones best friends really know his real name. His Aunt Linda always made it a point to stress the importance of school to her nephew, but Byrd always struggled and lacked motivation to really read and understand the material he was expected to learn but he ended up dragging by just barely each year of school to some amazement. He has always been a steady D+ student and for the most part only showed up to school to play sports, he had loved and played basketball since he was six years old. One of his favorite memories is when his uncle Karl had taken him to the Staples Center to watch an LA Clippers game sitting in the nosebleeds on his thirteenth birthday. Ever since that moment, the rest of his middle school years, and early into his high school career he wanted to become a professional basketball player and one day make it into the NBA. That all changed in 2017 when he watched his close friend group of all the guys he grew up playing basketball with take a turn for the worse, starting to get involved in the streets, some of them even getting into trouble with the law at an early age. Byrd stayed away from all of that for the most part, although he did find a love for marijuana and tries to smoke it everyday if he has enough money to buy it. Byrd stayed in his own lane by getting involved in the production of music, he'd be a part time soundcloud rapper, as well as his own producer, teaching himself the ways of the software after a lot of practice.
