Phone names

The phone names should be changed from IRL ones over to ones from the GTA universe.

Yeah we need to follow the lore if it's present. We do it with cars and specific locations already, as well as other brands (sprunk, pisswasser, burgershot etc) so calling your iFruit an iPhone just seems obtuse. It's like people who call their elegy a skyline or their dominator a mustang.

I mentioned this to Nervous in-game when he said it'd be released 2 days ago. He said it's doing it, because else they'll soon run out of phones to release. And it's fictional, this way I assume people just get a better imagination on what phone they carry IC and it's universal, so your iFruit XYZ wouldn't be based on an iPhone XS Max, and the next person with one roleplays it as a iPhone X.

 

Also, I agree on the 100$ Nokia. I mean, if you're about to commit crimes with your phone number involved, you'd rather have a shitty toss-away phone without GPS.

Yeah cheaper phones is needed, for burner phones but also for the people that aren't as wealthy as others... don't roleplay being well off.
