The Dream

Black Organized Crime is a term used to describe significant black African-American crime networks which demonstrate that not all African-American criminals are gang bangers whom affiliate themselves with color. Methods conspired two decades ago prove to be drastically out of date and perilous in the modern day world. The Black Organized crime was labeled such and gained traction when leaders participating in this means would sooner or later be arrested. They were however more experienced and resourceful than your typical street gangbanger, using modernized methods to establish themselves and survive as a unit. They weren't completely and firmly organized though, as ego and reputation amongst each other would conflict interests and/or relationships keeping them from developing towards world wide crime outfit. These individuals were exposed to the public through media growing them a notoriety. This causing the black youth to be influenced from the display of money, clothes, vehicles, and overall reputation that they would witness in their own neighborhood. Idolizing their lavish lifestyle would motivate the youth to gather and form small crews with the intent to replicate their idols success either by choice or being forced by poverty or family. The crews would run into situations in which they'd need defend themselves from a rival gang in nearby lower income areas. Many failed in several cases, leading to multiple deaths that would make others pursue a different less riskier route, forming connections and begin to network with other more powerful criminal organizations in an attempt to grow themselves once more with the keen interest of money made by a more professional, organized, and low-profile movement restraining from notoriety and attention to their actions.

Current situation

East Los Santos is vastly occupied by Mexican gangs that run the narcotics trade within a large scale area, consisting of most of the neighborhoods and even crime throughout urban areas. Anyone of brown or black skin complexion whom find themselves encountering the Mexican members are usually confronted and hustled for their belongings. Leaving the victims with two choices, either to stand their ground and retaliate in the situation before inevitably being overwhelmed by sheer numbers and influence that control the area or be forced to exile themselves from the city entirely. Although those who luckily obtain the third way to survive and pursue the American dream, earning a worthwhile income while carrying a name among fewer and trusted people. These units or crews vary on the manner they handle their business operation while sticking in the shadow and avoid unwanted recognition by keeping relationships with memorable individuals. Avoiding attention is the soul reason they manage to operate unnoticed unlike other gangs whom openly challenge their rivals. Currently the estimated ratio of Afro-Americans compared to the Mexicans in Rancho district is averaging to about thirty percent against sixty percent. Promoting a more invisible approach due to the area prevailing as much more of a dangerous threat for local black crews.

The North Side Connection

The name derived of an operation staying limited within reach of a block radius around their established neighborhood in Rancho, working on one ultimate goal, a well financial status whilst unknown to the law eye. Introduced by two peers with a hungry ambition to earn money with hopes to gain a relaxed lavish lifestyle. Committing crimes that would range between small time blue collar crimes to moving on and creating relationships with influential figures in the city, trying to establish their own identity and turf. The two peers grew close from their shared enticement for criminal activity being the means of money at an early age, learning from the older heads in the neighborhood basic street smarts and realism. Soon, a select few would witness a steep portion of their older affiliates or otherwise referred to as OG's lose their lives during a major feud between the North Side community older members and the occupying cartel. The consequence of this would leave a high scale of the gang stranded with one option like previously mentioned, moving residency or even changing states. Since the conflict reached its peak time has passed and both sides had gone into silence, proceeding to remain off the radar and work in secret, opening an opportunity for the newer North Side crew consisting of the small younger generation. The two grew trust and loyalty to each other and built motivation for easy cash. Staying in a difficult position for a weeks at a time. One of substantially taught youngings came to stumble across a few drug traffickers outside of his ethnicity and gain their attention. This select few would come to support the young hustler, providing him with a stable supply which he'd then distribute amongst the North Side pre mature crew. As money started to flow in, the original two street cats position themselves with leadership and produce work for their peers. The duo would soon run into a physical interrogation and robbery by the Mexicans. Experiencing the brutality of their attitude, the duo learned to avoid any encounter with the group by any means. This drama stains permanent mark in one of the young leaders, himself growing wary of the power and influence the Mexicans hold that promotes him to network wisely. Developing and sticking to certain adaptive methods they've created, the two continue their movement in solitary. Selling narcotics away from an open eye, choosing their encounters carefully, and building a safe profitable connection with future acquaintances in pursue of the American Dream.
