  1. One of the most annoying issues that I've dealt with was RageMP not starting up no matter how many times I launch it, and upon inspecting the process it's frozen at some random RAM usage which can result in nothing but killing the process itself via Task Manager. I heard people say the problem is based on dated systems or PC not meeting requirements. The issue itself although hard to explain seems to be not related to the compatibility but to the RageMP itself. The process appears frozen or stuck at loading for one reason or another, but in fact the process is paused. And the solution for it seems rather simple. Just for your information, this solution might not be 100% fixing all the issues, it might not even work for you, I post it because it worked for me. I take no responsibility for if your game is broken after applying this method, although I doubt it could since it's not interfering with game files or anything. Step by step guide how to resume the frozen GTA5.exe process. 1. Download Process Hacker for your OS or any advanced task managing software that allows you check the processes and pause/terminate/resume them. I don't have any suggestions as I only used the Process Hacker so far. 2. Launch Process Hacker, it's very similar to task manager, leave the software running in the background. 3. Launch RageMP window, and select a server from the list. 4. After a while the game should initialize, you will notice a PlayGTA5.exe tree, with SocialClubHelper.exe, Launcher.exe and GTA5.exe. When you notice GTA5.exe becomes stuck on any memory usage and pauses from further loading and doesn't go further, press right click on the process and you should have 'Resume' on the list. 5. The game from now on should load properly, if it gets stuck again just resume the process once more, until the game fully loads. I haven't seen a solution like that for the problem anywhere on RageMP forums or in google and I've been dealing with it for quite a while, so I hope it helps you fixing your game and saves you from this irritating issue.
  2. Hello. I've got a problem with the game, especially with the GTAW. In brief the problem is when I'm trying to run the server it shows me "Validating server assets" at the loading screen (I'll place a pic of it) on the bottom right and then the game just shuts itself down. After reinstalling the RageMP the problem got solved, but this is the first time it didn't changed at all. At this point I have no clue about it. If anyone of you got something to solve this problem I'd be thankful.
  3. Hi! There's been a few threads popping up on the forums that I've seen throughout my time here and I would like to make a guide to help diagnosing issues. When people have crashes and faults, often times they might decide to come on GTA:W's Official Forums to report the problem, but may miss vital and useful information that support members or general community members could use, my hope here is that providing this could speed up getting the right help, so here's my suggestion! What should I provide?: Computer Hardware OS (Operating System): CPU (Processor): RAM (Computer Memory): GPU (Display Device): HDD (Storage Device): Grand Theft Auto Installation GTA Version (Steam, Rockstar Launcher, Epic Games): Are you running any mods?: Have you ever had mods before?: Fault with game Description of issue: When did this start to happen?: How do I find out about my computer specifications?: Windows: Press the Windows Key + R Key on your Keyboard, you will be met with a run screen, typically it looks like this: CLICK HERE! Type in "DXDiag" without the quotations and hit the enter key, here's an example: CLICK HERE! You may be asked if you want to sign drivers, hit yes or continue if this pops up. DirectX Diagnostic Tool will now flash up, it will look similar to this: CLICK HERE! You now want to open the notepad application or a word processing tool (Microsoft Word, Wordpad Etc). I have DirectX Diagnostic Tool open, what now?: Now that you have the DirectX Diagnostic Tool open, there's some important details you need to write down, the following pictures should help guide you through this process to begin populating the list of useful information above. First, you want to note down the Operating System, this can be found here: Next up, you need to identify and note down your Processor (CPU), again, found here: After this, we're going to move on to Memory (RAM), taking note on your word processor (Notepad, MS Word, Wordpad): Once we've achieved everything required on the first of two pages for the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, we can now move on to your display device, to do this, there's a small tab at the top of the Diagnostic Tool that says "Display" which can be found here: You'll then find this screen, which is slightly different than the initial as the information populating the fields is related to your Display Device (GPU), typically it will look something like this: Take note of the "Name" field on this screen, as this usually relates to your display device, it can be found here: Following the steps above, you should now have your Processor (CPU), OS (Operating System), Memory (RAM) and Display Device (GPU) populated on your notepad document, you will still need to find out what Storage Device you have. Windows: Press the Windows Key + R Key on your Keyboard, you will be met with a run screen, typically it looks like this: CLICK HERE! Type "devmgmt.msc" and press enter, here is another example of this: CLICK HERE! You will then be met with the Device Manager, it should look fairly identical to this: CLICK HERE! Navigate to Disk Drives, as seen here: CLICK HERE! Note down any Disk Drives you have available on this screen on your word processor of choice (Notepad, MS Word, Wordpad, etc.) Okay, I have the information written down, what now?: This is a good time to make a thread about your issue using the format provided above, again, these fields should now be populated with everything you have found out about your computer, and should look similar to the example I have provided here using my own installation of GTA and my own computer hardware. Computer Hardware OS (Operating System): Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit. CPU (Processor): AMD Ryzen 7 3700x. RAM (Computer Memory): 16384MB. GPU (Display Device): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. HDD (Storage Device): Sabrent Rocket 1TB NVME. Grand Theft Auto Installation GTA Version (Steam, Rockstar Launcher, Epic Games): Steam. Are you running any mods?: Yes, NVE, Reshade and ENB's. Have you ever had mods before?: Yes. Fault with game Description of issue: A general description of your issue should go here, if you are crashing on startup, if you are experiencing freezes during gameplay, if you are stuttering and so on. When did this start to happen?: Provide a timeframe of when they issue started to occur here, it may have been after a new GTA Update, or yesterday after a GTA World update, or after a Rage Update etc. Final Thoughts: I hope the above helps you to understand your computer a little more and provides some useful information which you can keep for the future if you experience problems with your machine later down the line. Many thanks, and good luck! Hopefully a helpful member of the community can give you advice, solutions and knowledgeable guidance now that they have a better idea of how your PC is built and what the installation of your Grand Theft Auto is like. Cheers, Crisis.
  4. Been trying to help my brother join the server on his computer, through RageMP obviously. GTA V loads into single player and RageMP shows this error "ERROR: Could not access game process. Shutdown Steam/RGS/EGS and try again." I've tried multiple solutions but nothing has worked. If anyone is able to help let me know. Thanks! Here's a video, the quality might not be great. 2021-01-05 15-19-19 on Vimeo
  5. Greetings I was away for a few months and a few days ago I decided to play again, but when I wanted to log in to my user panel, the website asked me to fill the application form again ( questions and answers ) This is very confusing and I don't know why it doesn't recognize my account. Besides, I can't connect to the server with my Iranian IP and need to use VPN ( it was one of the main reasons I stopped playing the last time, the problem would get fixed automatically sometimes and sometimes it would appear again ) and even with VPN, all I see is lost connection, reconnecting or something like that. I will be thankful if someone help me fix these problems because I really want to start playing again. ? Sincerely
  6. Hello. I made an application over UCP. Hitting the bank question is bugged. I typed my answer at answer form but it is not accepting. It shows "none". At first I thought this rule was removed. So I thought my answer was not accepted. But it was not so. Can you help me? Thanks.
  7. Currently as far as I know, there are one main job called Trucking (also referred to as Courier). This job has a decent payout, and a fair combination between the interactions to payout ratio. Meaning you do some interactions (besides from driving) and you get some good money. The more you do the job, the better the money. On the other hand, since the past few weeks we had seen an influx of new truckers - rushing to work and collect some hard earned money. This influx created close to none job, if you get on the wrong time of the server you might get 1-2 trucking offers with 6+KM on them. Regarding other side-jobs; The trash job is easily the hardest one, you make many interactions during each run, and the money is bad compared to the amount of work you got to put in. Fishing is nice, but it has a hard cap on it. Meaning even if you enjoy fishing, you won’t get more than ~2k for every 15-25 mins. And I heard a rumour about another mysterious job called the Taxi driver but let’s not get in there. My suggestions: Create more (at least 2) scripted jobs. Make them server reliant - meaning just like trucking it has things to do with other players. (eco system) Improve upon fishing, stop cock blocking the fishermen and women just because you afraid they make some money that way. It’s a game after all - we need to have some fun. Either cut the amount of trash needed for a full trash run. Or increase the payout. Remove the ability to work as a rent Trucker. Yes it will create monopoly over Trucking, but that’s the best we can do to lower the amount of truckers. Please discuss.
  8. Short description: Establish locations where truckers can drive crates either at a reduced price or with some handicap if there are no deliveries available. Detailed description: Right now it's quite a pain in the ass to have this screen pop up quite frequently. Making the non player owned businesses buy crates every one in a while doesn't really help truckers as it is rather a temporary fix for a problem that requires a permanent solution. I am open for discussion on whether it should be on a reduced price or maybe the fixed location would be only available during major shortage in deliveries like the one illustrated. Commands to add: None Items to add: Drop off points for truckers How would your suggestion improve the server? Would enable people to deliver at any time, even if none of the businesses require crates. Additional information: -
  9. Thank you for reading this! Now that GT-MP is compatible with the new update again, I wanted to get the new update for the game, too. I updated GT-MP without a problem, and I thought that I could get my GTAV to update, too. However, this was not the case. I'm playing through Steam, and neither Steam, nor the Social Club did any updates for me, even if I started singleplayer. I tried deleting my update folder, different files in it, because I saw it on a thread that that should help, but it didn't. It still didn't update anything. And I can't play with the downgraded version of my GTAV on the new version of GT-MP! Please, help me! I am totally lost here, I don't know exactly how to fix this...
