Luis Rojas, known on the streets as Lil Wicked or simply Wickz is the young, up and coming shotcaller within the E/S Playboy Sureños 13 (PBS) street gang. Luis Rojas comes from a long line of proud gang members, all of which represented the Playboy Surenos (PBS) long before his birth. His father, Alejandro 'Big Wicked' Rojas a Salvadoran man was said to be one of the most notorious Playboys in the Eastside district of South Central, additionally he was also said to have been one of the original founders of the Eastside offshoot of the PBS13 gang. Luis' mother, Roisin Rojas (Formerly Roisin Murphy) was an Irish-American woman who had grown up around Chicanos and as a result had been culturally indoctrinated into the 'cholo' lifestyle from an early age. Despite his mother not being of the same background as the rest of his family, Luis had always held an extreme ammount of respect for her, even going as far as to consider her a full blown Chicana, as opposed to simply being a white woman who his father just happened to impregnate. When Luis was only five years old his father went missing during an increasingly violent street war against the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), which at the time had been ongoing for longer than Luis had even been alive. He had no idea of the origins of the war between the two street gangs, despite this Luis began to harbour a deep and intense hatred for all gangs that weren't the same as those who he considered to be his family. Despite his deep hatred for all other criminal groups, one enemy in particular stood out amongst all of them. La Mara Salvatrucha. A vicious and presently extremely notorious Salvadoran street gang of which Luis was indoctrinated by his own mother to believe were not only an extremely dangerous threat to the Chicano community, but were nothing but mindless murdering and raping machines who loved to target Mexican-Americans for their misdeeds. While this was only a half truth, it did nothing for Luis but fuel his disdain for the rival street gang. By the age of 12 Luis had already become inducted into the Playboy Surenos (PBS) through a blessing only given to the offspring of high ranking and highly respected members of the street gang. By the age of 14, he was actively gangbanging and engaging in shootouts against the Mara Salvatrucha, 18th Street Gang and various other rival criminal groups such as Florencia 13 (F13), Hang Out Boyz (HOB), 55 Bunch (55BC) and the Varrio 41 Street Gang. After engaging in a long and extremely traumatic street war against the rival gang, Luis and his small clique, the 43 Most Hated Lokotes (43MHLS) managed to come out on top over a South Central MS-13 clique, completely wiping them off the map and thus ending a decade long street war between the two Hispanic gangs. This action gained him an immense amount of respect within his social group in the street gang. Presently Luis is still one of the shotcallers within his street gang. He leads the group not through an iron fist, but through love and respect for his homeboys and homegirls. As a proud member of the Playboys who also happens to come from a long line of gang members, Luis has completely fed into the logic that the Playboys (PBS) gang is his only family. Where Luis' criminal lifestyle leads him will be seen in due time, although he has already predicted where it may lead him, which is more than evident with the amount of gang tattoos visible on the 18 year old cholo's body. Luis' face is permanently marked with a set of devil horns, the horns have a cracked appearance as if they have been broken in half and left to crumble, a tattoo that openly signifies his intense hatred for the Mara Salvatrucha. On his eyelids he has the words 'SORRY MOM' permanently inked, a constant reminder of his criminal lifestyle and of the fact that when he dies, he'll never have a chance to tell his mother that he's sorry for the way he chose to live his life. Another tattoo that very accurately depicts Luis lifestyle is the three dots that are tattooed on his wrist. The three dots (Tres Puntos) are an age old symbol that tells of the grim fate promised to all gang members. The crazy life that they swear loyalty to, the life that leads them to one of three places. The hospital, the grave, or prison.... The theme of this character story & this character thread is of desperation, hate, struggle and violence. This thread follows Luis 'Lil Wickz' Zelaya as he attempts to traverse the cold and lonely underworld that is gang culture in South Los Santos.
