  1. Hello everyone, I'm Big_Smokes and together with Kilerbite and Roozles, I am one of the faction leaders of the Los Santos Police Department. We started working on this project a long time ago (We've been together as a team for over a year now) and always look for avenues to improve on our faction's core values, the interaction amongst our faction's members and our faction's interaction with the public in game. As we are at the very top of the organisation we see things from a very different perspective than most. For that reason I always feel like it is important to stay in touch with the people that interact with all echelons of the faction: You, the player. We don't interact with you over the forums as much as we'd like and thus I decided to post this topic. I'm asking all of you to come forth with your innovating and revolutionary suggestions to help us improve facets of the faction from your perspective. If you don't have a suggestion but rather a question to ask, that's also fine, I'll try to answer it to the best of my ability. Before you post though, I have to clarify one thing: Our faction has more than a hundred players in it and will continue to grow. My fellow leaders and I are not present for every interaction you might have with any INDIVIDUAL faction member, and thus I would like you to refrain from posting complaints about individual interactions in this thread. If you wish to file a complaint, please refer to this forum (https://lspd.gta.world/viewforum.php?f=261) or send a PM directly to me. The idea is that I'm wanting to get a sense of what type of macro changes the community would be interested in to help our faction improve from their standpoint. I might not agree with all your suggestions nor might I find them tenable, but that does not make them any less valued. I will try to respond to this thread as often as I can and also answer any questions you might have.

Her mother Mhairi was a nurse in the local hospital, as her father Robert trained as a police constable within the Strathclyde Police Department as did his father before him, and eventually progressing to the detective division by the time Sam had turned one. Robert was always interested in the narcotics field and by the time Sam was two years old they had decided to emigrate the family to Liberty City in the USA to seek a career in the LCPD. From that moment, this is where Sam grew up and her brother James was born within the year. The family managing to gain a green card status and eventually full citizenship. Her mother continued her career working in the local hospital once and her father finally landing his dream job within the LCPD Narcotics Division. However tension grew in the family, and her father’s long hours and stressful position had left him bitter and a strain on the perfect family ideal. He turned to drink, abusive and it was a matter of a few months that her mother had started divorce proceedings that would never chance to finalize. It was not long after Sam’s fifth birthday and while her mother was getting her ready for bed a knock on the door echoed around the house. Her mother opened to the door to two young Officers and after one sombre sentence, Sam witnessed her break down and cry. Her mother was never the same again from that point. Her father had a hit on a huge narcotics deal that had been traced all the way from the docks and Mexico. After finalizing the operation with a team of tactical officers, Robert was about broken a huge case but it would seem to leak from within the department had the men aware and ultimately on the night, Robert was shot in the line of fire and killed instantly. Her mother’s grief had grown to consume her, she failed to turn up for work and became clinically depressed and by the time Sam was six, she and her younger brother was in and out of care for the majority of their lives. However, this never stopped her. She progressed through school pretty well, she kept her head down, getting fairly good grades and graduating from high school with a score that the majority of parents would be proud of. LCU was her college of choice, choosing a major in criminology. However, Blue blood seemingly ran true and although with much protest from her mother, she proceeded to join the Liberty City Police Department not long after graduation. Sam was pretty driven and although it was tough, she loved her new role. She trained hard and after a few years was finally accepted into the K-9 handler training program and then further into the tactical EMT with the Emergency Unit. This was never enough for a mother and their fractured relationship was strained by the constant reminder of her father. Therefore, not long after her brother left for Dubai, Sam packed up her things and accepted a lateral transfer into the Los Santos Police Department, to continue her training and eventual get to where she is today.
  7. Hello, So I want to make a suggestion, it’s pretty simple and I’m sure a lot of people would like to roleplay this as well. L.A Noire was a huge game and I’m sure a great many of those who played it, loved it. So I’m sure a lot of people would like to roleplay such a role in the server. They’d drive undercover cars or cop cars, depending on their duty. But not be dressed in the LSPD uniform. Will just have a badge as proof. They’d be called on more serious matters but while nothing is going on they can do normal LSPD duties like looking out for crime, catching speeders etc. You get the idea, just like L.A Noire. Also gives those in the LSPD another thing to work towards if they want to get to that rank. I’d like to grind that for sure. Those in the LSPD currently would have a better idea on the specifics of it of course since you know the ins and outs of the LSPD on the server. I joined wanted to be LSPD/detective but was told the undercover/detective wasn’t in the server. So definitely thought I’d recommend it.
  8. Name: Natalia Adaline Florence Nationality: French-English-American Date of Birth: 31/AUG/1988 Gender: Female Race: Caucasian Height: 5' 6' | 167cm Hair color: Naturally brown Eye color: Brown Languages: English and French Social Media: FaceBrowser Occupation: Sergeant II in the Los Santos Police Department Relationship status: Single Sexual orientation: Heterosexual Personality Natalia's kindness is immeasurable, even during the toughest situations, if there is a peaceful resolution then no matter the cost she will chase after it. Her downfall is that if someone she cares about gets hurt, the pain for her is out of this world, she cannot stand watching someone or putting someone in unwarranted pain. Everyday she struggles with accepting that not everyone is going to be like those she has met so far and sometimes trusts people too easily. Despite her vulnerability, she remains highly emotionally intelligent however humbles herself always holds herself at a high standard of discipline with her expectations for herself equally as high. She remains loyal to those she cares for and would never betray the trust of someone whom she holds close to her. Natalia cannot stand people who are entitled or generally rude, she hates people that put others in danger and will always snap when she sees that kind of behavior. Even though she'll throw herself in front of danger for someone, it's breaks her heart when someone does the same. Regularly when dealing with people, she'll address them in endearing terms simply because she likes to spread the positive atmosphere. Even when in situations that she should be on guard on, she can't help but try to be compassionate. This is one of her downfalls as more often than not it is used against her but it never sways her in her attempts. To deal with the amount of stress that she deals with on the job, she goes through various amounts of cigarettes. She isn't addicted and can't express the need for them herself but doesn't have a reason to stop, they relieve the stress and that's exactly what she needs. Background Natalia Adaline Florence was a small, but beautiful, baby born to her parents in the town of Toulouse in France. She was born prematurely however the spark in her eyes was clear from the moment she was born, nothing about her screamed weak despite her early birth. Her mother who was born in France had always been a traveler, she went all over the world before deciding that no place would be more honorable than to birth her daughter in her own country. Natalia's father was from Liberty City while her mother from Toulouse. They met while traveling in England which was the place that baby Natalia would soon call home. Natalia grew up in the town of Camberley, the town is just located north east of Hampshire in the area of Surrey. She jumped from house to house as her mother was never able to settle in one place, they never strayed too far from the general area though. Through her years of going through primary school, she'd always have her small group of friends, never really experiencing any forms of bullying or other kind of alienation. It was around these days that Natalia decided that when she grew up, she wanted to be someone who protected others, perhaps a paramedic. This kind of peacefully upbringing continued up in to secondary school and finally in to college. Her college days were probably the best days of her life, driving around in her Mini Cooper with the roof down and her friends laughing in the back. Those days always stuck with Natalia and so when her parents announced they were moving across the world, there was no easy way to take it. The move took a huge toll on Natalia, moving away from all of the people that she grew up knowing in to an entirely different place, Liberty City. Upon moving, the thought of helping people was still with her however it wasn't the Fire Department that she applied for but the Police Department. Nothing had prepared her for the intense training that she was going to have to go through, nothing prepared her for the pain and emotional trauma that she was going to have to endure. Throughout this entire process there was one man who kept her sane, kept her on her two feet. Her partner in crime Daniel "Dragon" Beck. Daniel at the time of Natalia coming in to the department was a Sergeant, he was her training officer and respected patrol Sergeant. It was Daniel who convinced her to join the Metropolitan Division as well as enroll her in various trainings such as safe-cracking. Natalia and Daniel got closer as she progressed through the ranks but they always remained professional, both refusing to risk their relationship with attempting anything else. It was on Natalia's first scene dealing with a child who was armed when her life begun to break apart. The pair who were crewed together were called to a situation involving a teenager who had stolen a car and was now holding a gun in his palm, aiming it at the ground. Daniel who was part of Crisis Negotiation begun to speak with the teenager whom she'd later never forget as Ryan. Ryan seemed to listen to Daniel however while Natalia's firearm remained aimed at him, Daniel couldn't shake the bad feeling that kept washing over him. Almost in protection, he begun to step back towards Natalia, placing himself closer to her as he continued negotiations. Natalia didn't notice the subtle movements and kept aim up towards Ryan, the teenager. In a split second, Ryan had aimed the firearm up towards Natalia and despite her being fully aware of weapon aimed towards her, her finger never pushed down on the trigger. Ryan's did. Daniel had made the split second decision of moving himself in front of Natalia, taking the four shots to his abdomen, leaving Natalia only getting hit once in the back. The pair of them fell to the ground, one in a pool of blood and the other in a pool of tears. She was unable to forgive herself for what she had done, unable to let go what had happened all because of her split second of hesitation. That day, Natalia lost her partner and the LCPD lost one of their best Lieutenants they'd had in a long time. This memory never left her, sticking close to her heart as she continued in her day to day recovery. When she had been released from the hospital and then resumed her recovery at home, she began thinking about how she could ever forgive herself and continue living her life. Her conclusions originally was that she couldn't, she couldn't continue living after she had taken Daniel's life away from him. His nickname had always been "Dragon" because of his bravery so she stepped out one night and took one of the many images that Daniel had represented. A dragon was tattooed on the back of her calf that same day. This dragon would soon be followed by a decoration around her scar on her back, forcing her to remember forever. To escape the pain, she transferred. Where? Los Santos Police Department.
  9. Short description: Re-introduce the ability to rappel out of a helicopter as a passenger. Detailed description: On GTMP, the Los Santos Fire Department, and most likely the Police Department also, had the ability to rappel out of a helicopter while it was hovering. I never got the chance to experience this myself in GTMP, but I know it's a feature of the game already in both GTA Online and SinglePlayer. So with a little bit of effort it could probably be transferred over to RageMP - if Rage 0.3's notorious desync isn't an issue. Rappelling would be one thing. But what about hoisting back into the helicopter? If it would be possible to type /hoist and be pulled back into the helicopter, with a patient or other important person, this would complete the process. But I'm not sure how possible this would be - so lets focus on rappelling down first? Commands to add: /rappel /hoist Items to add: Rope/line object - this is already in /roadblock How would your suggestion improve the server? It would be a highly useful script to add back into the server, as ourselves in the Fire Department carry out Air Rescue several times a month, usually from Mount Chiliad or the Pacific Ocean - but we often have to non-RPishly jump out from heights, and often awkwardly teleport which requires an admin and ruins the immersion. For Police Department, it allows them to deploy SWAT ontop of buildings for breaching and hostage rescue situation. If placed correctly by the pilot, it could be used to rappel onto building ledges. It should be available to anyone who operates an aircraft - whether it be Fire Department, Police, Energy Companies, Security/Private Military, Adventure Businesses (Like LS Adventures) or just someone who's quite wealthy (and possibly a criminal) who wants to have plenty of fun. A group of criminals rappelling down to rob a bank? Or is that too GTA Online? Up to you! #YearOfIllegalRP Additional information: I know things like this aren't a priority at the moment, but nothing ever is if it doesn't get suggested. There will always be a backlog of suggestions and development that is bigger than any Dev team could clear. As Devs have said before, may as well suggest it and then it can be worked on the future. Especially before I forget the suggestion again! ? Discuss below. Below is the only image I've found when rappelling was available to the LSFD in GTMP:

JULIETTE WILDE THEME TUNE AGE: 32 BORN: Normady, France EYES: Hazel Brown Height: 5'6 Hair: Auburn Languages: French and English Sexual Orientation: Straight Juliette Wilde, French born but living in America spent most of her life living with her father in Liberty City, moving there when her mother died at a young age. Her father was an American, a stern figure, strict but fair. His dream, to become a Detective in the Major Crimes Division, working for LCPD. This was however, never meant to be.. Killed in the line of duty while on patrol in the city one day. Juliette at this time was well on her up through the ranks, following her Father's footsteps. Her goal was simple, to achieve that which her Father could not. Juliette took on a few of her Father's traits, strict and stern but ultimately caring where care is due. Deep down she has a kind heart and is often the first person to take care of those that need it most. Juliette is hard to read, not giving off any clues to her emotions. Most likely the after effects of a week she had to endure that affected her mentally, ending in her taking a long break from her work to seek help. Finally reaching a point where she could start her Detective Training Program, an opening for the Los Santos Police Department became available. A fresh start was something Juliette wanted and this was the perfect opportunity for her. Only one spot available and in the end it went to Erin Morgan, another Officer that had just started her DTP, someone Juliette didn't know all too well. Wilde would go on to complete her training with the Liberty City Police Department before notice came in that another spot had opened again over in Los Santos. Erin Morgan had made Detective but she'd been killed in action a month later. Juliette stepped up and transferred over to the Los Santos Police Department where she now resides as a Detective in the Major Crimes Division. 12. Bella Rosa Violante Name: Bella Rosa Violante Nationality: Italian-American Date of Birth: 16/MAY/1991 - 27 Y/O Gender: Female Race: Caucasian Height: 5' 6' | 167cm Hair color: Naturally dark brown Eye color: Dark blue Languages: English, Italian and Latin Occupation: Sergeant in the Los Santos Police Department Relationship status: Single Sexual orientation: Heterosexual Personality Bella is one thing throughout her whole personality and that is a mirror, if you're hostile to her she is going to be hostile back with the exceptions for her amusement. While she can come across cold in her actions it's never her intention to but she doesn't consider for a second to waste her time on someone who wouldn't listen either way. As for those who she holds dear, she puts them above all else, those who she trusts she will open up and show her vulnerable side, being someone that they genuinely enjoy to be around. Likes: Dogs Socializing Clubbing Martial arts People who can take jokes and have a sense of humor Adrenaline and taking risks Exercise and sports Loyalty Gum Dislikes: Liars Two-faced people Racism and bigots Ignorant people Bad coffee People with bad fashion Push-overs Background Bella Rosa Violante, born to Isabella Rosa and Kane Violante in the early months of 1991, was considered a blessing to her family, her eyes from the moment she was born beamed blue with promise. Her parents, both living in Milan, Italy at the time, were American-Italian citizens as they were each other's high-school sweethearts, married as soon as they came out of college, chasing their dreams together before Isabella fell pregnant with baby Bella. The sweet love-story of her parents didn't last, they began to argue and often fought in the early years of Bella's life which in the end caused their divorce, her father, Kane, returned to America and took Bella with him as he raised her with the support with various nannies, his attention mainly focused on his medical career. Desperate for the recognition of her father, she'd study endlessly in order to be top of her class from a young age but even after all her efforts her father paid little attention to her activities, caring more about progressing himself, becoming engrossed in his work with no care for family connections. As for her school life, she had no trouble making friends, if anything she found it easy, trusting them was the hard part. Eventually, Bella became numb to her father's ignorance as she simply lived each day as it came by with no end goal in mind, studying medicine and psychology but not being able to feel herself getting attached. It was only when she was out at night with some of her friends in Miami and their drinks had been drugged did she wake up from her fantasy and reality settled in, rarely does she speak about what happened that night. That is when she came across martial arts, she began to learn how to defend herself and what kind of self defense techniques she could use to her advantage when typically she might've been at a loss. She found herself signing up for the New York Police Department, passing through her academy with flying colours, soon graduating and working harder then she ever had before. As stress took a toll on her, she picked up nasty habits, smoking was her main one which didn't help her relationship with her father at all, he attempted to stop her addiction but as time went on he decided Bella wasn't worth his troubles. Kane discarded her as his daughter, shouted obscenities, degraded her with each word. Everything became too much for her, she wanted to escape it all which was why she planned for a transfer to the Los Santos Police Department. The move was anything but easy, learning the city along with the people and colleagues was another thing entirely, either way she decided that this time she is just going to be herself, no matter the cost. Turns out being a hot-headed Italian female costs a lot. Si dice sempre il lupo più grande che non è - Lying a little might make the story better.
  13. Line Of Duty Death: Captain Jack Wolfsbane Tuesday, 29th January 2019 LSFD Public Relations: Chloe MacKenzie Captain Jack Wolfsbane in formal attire. It is with great sadness the Los Santos Fire Department announces the Line Of Duty Death of Captain Jack Wolfsbane of Station 7, El Burro Heights following a Mass Casualty Shooting in Chamberlain Hills, Los Santos. CHAMBERLAIN HILLS - At 22:25 on the 28th January 2019, the Fire Department received notification by the Los Santos Police Department of a police vehicle on fire in an alleyway off Forum Drive. Fire Engine 1 was dispatched to incident #19-11147. On arrival crews found a police car fully involved in flame with exposures to a structure, and requested an additional engine to assist. Fire Engine 2 responded and the fire was quickly knocked down a few minutes later without spread to surrounding property. Due to the suspicious circumstances regarding the fire, Marshall 1 was also dispatched and took over from Engines 1 and 2. Dispatched LSFD Units: E1, E2, MS1 A police cruiser blocks access to the alleyway as the situation evolves. During the Fire Marshall's investigation, a shootout occurred in which one female police officer was hit and a message for assistance was sent at 23:14 for a shooting (Incident #19-11148). Fire crews responded back to the scene with Rescue Intermediate 1 to provide emergency medical assistance while police secured the area. During treatment more gunfire erupted, forcing fire crews to take cover and shield the patient while other officers returned fire. Unfortunately during the shootout one Firefighter, Captain Jack Wolfsbane, and one Police Officer were fatally struck by gunfire, alongside various others who received non-life threatening injuries. Those who were fatally struck were declared deceased on scene at 23:27. The incident spread over several blocks as more reports of shootings came in. A Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) was declared and a call for additional crews was sent. Engine 1, Rescue Basics 2, 3 and 4 were dispatched alongside numerous other police resources. A SWAT Insurgent joins the scene with various other specialist police and fire resources. A considerable amount of police resources swarmed the area, locking down surrounding roads and setting up a perimeter - evacuating civilians from the scene. SWAT teams were mobilised to secure complexes, alongside teams positioned on rooftops while a police helicopter flew over on the lookout for further suspects. One male suspect, believed to be the primary shooter, was located on a rooftop having sustained multiple Gun Shot Wounds (GSWs). Police secured the scene while LSFD Medics treated the gunman before Firefighters from Engine 1 used a rope rescue system to remove the injured from the rooftop. He was taken to a waiting ambulance under heavy police protection before being escorted to an area hospital. All other patients, police officers and suspects, were also treated and transported to nearby hospitals. Eventually the scene was considered static at 00:18 and LSPD investigators moved in to take over. As of time of publish, the number of casualties reported stands at 8. This number may change. We extend our sympathies and respect to the families, friends and colleagues of Captain Jack Wolsfbane, and the Police Officer's name who's yet to be announced, during this tragic time. Rest In Peace. Funeral and trial information is yet to be announced. 15. Four dead after car plunges into the Alamo Sea Friday, 30th November 2018 LSFD Public Relations: Chloe MacKenzie Fire apparatus and police vehicles wait on shore while dive teams carry out their search. ALAMO SEA - At 23:03 on Thursday the 8th November 2018, the Los Santos Fire Department (LSFD) were notified by the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) of a car that had come off the road and gone into the Alamo Sea while being pursued by law enforcement. A water rescue assignment was dispatched to the incident. On arrival firefighters and emergency medical technicians liased with the LSPD to establish that a green Karin Kuruma carrying four occupants had collided with the water at high speed and immediately sunk with the occupants trapped inside. Due to the amount of time the car had been underwater, crews weren't hopeful that there would be any survivors. A police helicopter marked the location by hovering over the water while specialist nighttime Diver teams from Rescue One made their way into the water in scuba diving gear, supported with rescue lines from crews waiting on shore. Helmet cam from the dive team showing a police helicopter marking the spot. Dive team firefighters Chloe MacKenzie and Connor McMahon made their way to the vehicle which by that time had sunken to the seabed. The dive team breached the vehicle by smashing the driver side window, and brought the occupants out by hand. The green Karin Kuruma as spotted by the helmet cam of Engineer Chloe MacKenzie, while Firefighter Connor McMahon tried to open the driver's side door. All four persons (age/gender unknown) were declared deceased at the scene by the Los Santos Fire Department, confirming that the incident was no longer a water rescue but a recovery mission. The Fire Department handed the deceased over to the Los Santos County Department of Coroner and the incident was given to the Los Santos Police Department to carry out investigations. All fire and rescue resources concluded operations and cleared from the incident as of 23:46. Drive team Firefighter Connor McMahon rests after the challenging recovery mission. 16. Short description: Implement the hazardous materials (HazMat)/Biohazard/Decontamination suit into the GTA World clothing items. Detailed description: Allow players to equip the top, pants, hood, glove and boots that go with the HazMat/Biohazard/Decontaminationsuit found in GTA V's singleplayer and GTA Online to purchase in clothing stores and to apply with /uniform. The /masks are already provided in GTA World (all though it'd be nice to be able to equip them with /uniform). Commands to add: N/A Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? Provide factions that work with Hazardous Materials with a Hazardous Materials suit. The Los Santos Fire Department can use it on a daily basis for our Hazardous Material call outs, allowing us to save lives and remain protected from Hazardous Materials (HazMat) while responding to fires, collisions, decontamination requests, hazmat medical emergencies, industrial incidents, drug labs, suspicious package investigations...etc. The Los Santos Police Department can use it when responding to Chemical Biological Radioactive Nuclear Explosive (CBRNE) incidents such as drug labs, suspicious package investigations and crime scenes involving hazardous materials. Additionally they could use it for Crime Scene Investigation (CSI). The Los Santos County Department Of Coroner can use it when investigating deaths and collecting bodies/body parts and human substances from crime scenes, medical incidents, hospitals and for use in the lab as part of their Body Substance Isolation (BSI) clothing. Illegal factions can use it during the manufacturing of drugs, you know - the classic story of the dropout kid and his chemistry teacher baking Meth in the desert. Legal factions can use it during industrial roleplay (LS Gas Company) such as detecting, monitoring, handling, destroying and manufacturing hazardous materials in factories, while mining and transporting dangerous goods and assisting the LSPD and LSFD with incidents such as natural gas leaks. Provide Hazardous Material roleplay. With these suits we can actually look the part, bringing a new and unusual aspect to the server that fits in nicely with civilian, criminal, law enforcement, fire, rescue and medical role-play. Allow us to take screenshots and imagery wearing appropriate clothing to the roleplay It'd also provide funky costumes for us to wear during parties and events like Halloween. Additional information: I haven't yet found any of these items in the /uniform menu (which is the same as the clothes menu) so I do apologise if they are already in there. If they are, please tell me their IDs and where I can find them. Here's some examples of images with similar HazMat suits:

  18. Short description: Taser /me auto command and drunk effect maybe a drunk walk. Detailed description: So I have this idea in my head. Every time I tase someone while on duty with my stun gun They just get back up sometimes and just keep doing whatever they were doing like running or getting in a car and driving off. That is just not realistic and play to win. Which is why I think we need an automated /me command and maybe a drunken effect so The person who is running away would know he has been hit by a taser and he should Roleplay accordingly. So it could be something like this. Officer/Deputy shoots the taser the server registers a hit and pops up a /do NAME SURNAME would be hit by a taser with 50 000 Volts at 26Watts. This is what Taser CO says about the effects: Commands to add: /me/do would be hit by taser sending 50 000 Volts to their body incapacitating the muscle actions or something of sorts. Items to add: Drunken effect maybe and limping animation How would your suggestion improve the server? It would benefit both Police and Suspects roleplay by making clear that the person is tased and they would know what to do and how to roleplay the actions properly. Cause right of now there is no clear understanding when someone is tased or it was desync and they just go about their merry way running off like nothing happened. Additional information: I think we really need this clarification as proof that person was tased and the person would know what to roleplay Here are some major things people don't understand about EMD's that they don't cause a heart attack or what not they are meant to only disable and spasm your muscles incapacitating you. CAN TASER DEVICES REALLY INCAPACITATE AN ASSAILANT? Yes. TASER devices utilize "electro-muscular disruption (EMD)" technology. TASER devices use a powerful 50,000 volt electrical signal to completely override the central nervous system and directly control all muscles. This EMD effect causes an uncontrollable contraction of the muscle tissue, allowing the TASER device to physically debilitate a target regardless of pain tolerance or mental focus. TASER devices are specifically designed to stop even the most elite, aggressive, and focused combatants. Rather than simply interfering with communication between the brain and muscles, TASER EMD systems directly tell the muscles what to do, resulting in muscle spasms, until the target is in the fetal position on the ground. The TASER device provides for maximum safety for both the user and the assailant by bringing dangerous situations quickly under control before force escalates to lethal levels. There have been hundreds of reports that TASER devices disabled attackers and probably saved the owner's life. HOW DOES A TASER DEVICE WORK? Upon firing, compressed nitrogen projects two probes 15 feet at a speed of 180 feet per second. An electrical signal transmits through the region where the probes make contact with the body or clothing. The result is an instant loss of the attacker’s neuromuscular control and any ability to perform coordinated actions. It uses an automatic timing mechanism to apply the electric charge. This cycle ensures that the nervous system of the target does not recover instantly to allow him to remove the probes. If you are a law enforcement official, this gives you a chance to place the target under custody. If you are a citizen, simply pull the gun back, run, then call the police. It is highly unlikely the assailant will be able to walk, much less run after you. DOES THE TASER DEVICE AFFECT THE HEART OR A CARDIAC PACEMAKER? The TASER’s output is well below the level established as "safe" by the federal government in approving such devices as the electrified cattle fence. In a medical study of electronic stun guns, Dr. Robert Stratbucker of the University of Nebraska Medical Center confirmed that the T-Wave does not interrupt the heartbeat or damage a pacemaker. Any modern pacemaker is designed to withstand electrical defibrillator pulses that are hundreds of times stronger than the TASER device's output. The TASER device current of 0.3 joules is well below the 10-50 joule threshold above which cardiac ventricular fibrillation can occur. WHAT ARE THE AFTER EFFECTS? A person hit with a TASER device will feel dazed for several minutes. The pulsating electrical output causes involuntary muscle contractions and a resulting sense of vertigo. It can momentarily stun or render an attacker unconscious, yet the TASER’s low electrical amperage and short duration of pulsating current ensures a non-lethal charge. Moreover, it does not cause permanent damage or long-term aftereffects to muscles, nerves or other body functions. A January 1987 Annals of Emergency Medicine study reported TASER technology leaves no long-term injuries compared with 50% long-term injuries for gunshot injuries.

Short description: After commiting a crime and being arrested and serving the sentence in jail, depending on the severity of the crime, the arresting officers can assign probation to keep tabs on ex-cons, by assigning a probation officer to check up on said ex-con doing things like assigning drug tests and making sure that the ex-offender is being a law abiding citizen and working a legal job. Detailed description: I've always been a bit disappointed when it comes to being arrested and serving time in jail in GTA 5 roleplay servers. I've been arrested countless times, my most common charge being possession of an illegal firearm. My last time I was arrested, I only served thirty minutes in a jail cell which I didn't even have to be logged in for the time to complete apparently. The problem is that after you're arrested, the only thing that happens is you lose your illegal contraband, and you are stuck in a jail cell for a certain amount of time, then when you get out you essentially can just keep going on with your characters everyday life. Adding probation roleplay would make both illegal RP and legal RP (cops) more immersive, as criminals would have MUCH more to lose than just sitting AFK in a jail cell for an hour and being released, and it'd be nice for police officers to because they could continue the roleplay with the criminals they arrested even after they are out of jail, which means more character development and immersion. How would your suggestion improve the server? It'd improve the server by adding more roleplay scenarios for players who like to RP as realistically as possible, making characters face more consequences than just AFKing in a jail cell for 30 minutes and losing their gun.
